Deciding if I should remove commissions from being offered, hence poll. XD It's looking like everyone has no money or I'm overpriced for the quality of my stuff from the minimal returns thus far, but with a small percentage not knowing that I offered them in the first place. I'm bad at advertising.

I'm likely going to discontinue offering commissions, however, if a majority show that they are uninterested for whatever reason (lack of funds being one of these.)

I got a new tablet pen with the help of my mom, and it works and stuff. So I'm drawing again.

OHLAWD, I'm drawing. I've been active on Gaia. It makes me feel dirty that I get commissions on there. But I'm on my last one there. Unfortunately, people don't read the damn rules.

I'm doing Halloween, 11/4 pictures... oh god. XD I have some other things I'm working on.

Also, on November 17th, I'll have been here three years. Holy fuck, guys.

Uhhh, not much here. I lead a pretty unstressful life. I've been feeling bad about some stuff lately, but I've been able to put it on the back burner for the time being.

I've been trying to workout again. |D Fortunately, that's going better than trying not to be sad sometimes. I'd like to cosplay one day. -A- If I lose enough weight, I'll get a costume of some sort.

Okay, as some of my friends know, my dog has developed a taste for tablet pens. He ate my pen for my new tablet a few days ago, but I had my handy-dandy backup pen from my busted up tablet.

When I get up to go to the bathroom this morning, I come back to find my pen gone. After searching in the backyard for a few minutes, I find it.

With that said, I would really appreciate some commissions to cover the cost of the new pen ($30). My commission prices are over to the right. If you're interested, please note me, and we'll work something out. Obviously, at the moment, you'll be getting traditional art.

I got my hard copy of the game today just now. SPOILERS AHEAD.








Let me express myself in KEYMASHING

OIFJOIDJOJDOFOD

ILOVETHISGAME.

CHRIIIIIIIIST, it couldn't be better. The gameplay is awesome.

If you're interested in importing it, the DS is NO REGION, so it'll play fine. (The little icon is sea salt ice cream! X3) No there isn't an English language mode, either. The panel system is a little hard to figure out, even in English, I'd imagine--but it's a LOT of fun. Being able to read katakana is really all you need to get through the game (if you want to understand plot, however, that's another matter.)

LEXAEUS. FUUUU-- <3 Lexaeus just took a level in badass. Arguably my favorite moment in the game:

Lexaeus: You want to learn how to do your limit break?
Roxas: Ahh...
Lexaeus: *PUNCHES ROXAS IN THE FACE TO KNOCK DOWN HIS HP*

Xigbar gives nicknames. ;w; He calls Roxas "Koneko-chan," and he calls Xion "Puu-chan." ....Demyx, however, calls Xigbar "ossan" ("geezer/old man") ODIFJODFDF I lol'd. On the subject of Demyx, everyone bitches about him playing his sitar--with Xaldin being all "HE PLAYS THE SAME CORD ODIJFODJIFD" If you like XigDem, you'll enjoy the game, because they're ALWAYS TOGETHER.

Xigbar is the official card crusher of the game and grade-A dick. XD I love him, but I want to punch him. A lot.

I can't forget about Vexen and Marluxia owo. Vexen makes you go investigate things soifosdjs. Actually, the CoM crew serves as your tutorial mission group. CoM takes place over three days apparently o_o. I've heard it described as months.

Oh, and Xion. I'll... pass on my judgment of her for right now. Since I know what she is, I'll give this hint: my oft-forgotten "other" OTP was confirmed in this. The two characters have the same hobby with young children. Also, Vexen and Marluxia have complimentary gag weapons 8D.

The missions can get a little repetitive at times, but they're usually really fun. The only one that made me RAGE was the "Follow Pete" mission.

The feeling I have is that Saix and Xigbar are "co-number two." I also have the feeling that Xemnas is Charlie, Saix is Bosley, and the other members are the Angels. Daddy Xemnas only pops in occasionally and watch Roxas while he sleeps.

Yes, Axel's Somebody's name is revealed in this. AHAH, TAKE THAT, PEOPLE WHO HAVE HEAD CANNON.

HOLY. SHIT.

I'm back from (my Marluxia) and 's (my Saix) house and New Zealand officially! I'm a little delayed in getting back since I had a funky flight cancellation (and, ended up staying two extra days 8DDD!), and I needed a little bit of sleep since I'm all out of balance with my sleep.

First: Oh my god, staying with them is absolutely awesome. Holy fucking shit. XDDD They're so much fun, and I had an absolutely awesome time with both of them (and with Fox, too , and (Shota)~).

I left on the 16th from my place in Knoxville. The flights over were absolutely awesome. HOLY CRAP. XD I sat next to really awesome people on the way to NZ--a couple with a son that's becoming a doctor that went to Italy to study then come back to the US, then a flight attendant whom was telling me all about the new model of plane I was on, then on the LAX -> Auckland flight, I got a whole fucking middle row to myself >8D That part was pretty good, I have to say.

When I got there, !Dr-Bliss was there in FULL CANADA COSPLAY. I SHAT BRICKS, AND WAS PROMPTLY TACKLED WITH LOVE. We gleed on the whole trip back to her house and I quickly realized that I would have to walk a fucking SHITLOAD 8D. But holy fuck, we had a lot of fun on the way over to her house. We stopped and got Starbucks as we waited for the bus, then we got to her place. I met ~Cold--Creature, her sister, and her mother--both are awesome as well. I went comatose for the next few hours to try and adjust to the crazy 16 hour difference.

I woke up for a bit and investigated the house, called my mom to tell her I survived the trip, and stuff, before going back to bed.

When I got up, I met !Shin-zo and Fox when they got back from work.

... I think I went back to sleep once again to even out myself once it hit night.

The next day, Marlu, Shota, their mom and I went down to this market--holy fuck, it was so win. ;w; We have farmers' markets where I'm from (odsijfsoa I'm really bad with names, so I can't remember exactly WHERE it was), but it's nowhere near as cool as this was. I got a pork bun and an orange and rosewater cake, and it was delicious ;w;. We then went to one of the many malls, and I got a new bra (since, I only packed, like, a few). We went shopping around the rest of the mall, and Marlu bought a cute hat for me ;w; <3 <3 I also discovered the deliciousness that is lolli cake. We then went to visit Saix at work and torment her before going to get some stuff at the grocery store. Fuck, their supermarkets are so much different than those in the US. We then went home for the night and died from all of the walking.

The next day was Marluxia's birthday! 8DDD We went to Albany to visit the mall. I got a shitload of Asian food that I can't get back at home, and I got Marluxia's goat (LOLOLOLOLOL), then we returned to home to see the awesome Hetalia themed party ;w; <3. Anyways, I have a question about copics. I'm going on a trip in April, and I was wondering if those that have traveled with copics as a carry-on have had problems with airport security. 8D; Specifically, I'm going to New Zealand from America, and I want to know if Homeland Security will have a shitfit over them. I imagine that they won't since they don't smell or leak liquids, but I figure I'd ask. I'ma post this journal on other sites, so sorry about the spam .

You remember my last deviation, with the portraits?

First nine people to comment with some characters, I'll sketch nine portraits. (since, well, 9 thumbnail portraits, I'll actually probably DO, since I always get lazy with free sketchs.)

Now, put on your listening caps, because there's rules:

1. No OCs. I don't want to do research vwv;. Sorry.
2. Fandoms I know only. Once again, research =/= want. Previous deviation should show what fandoms I know, in addition to Sailor Moon and most Final Fantasies.
3. Tell me your favorite flavor of ice cream, if you like hotdogs more than hamburgers (or, neither), and the character you want. No "PLZME ME ME ME" comments in the sake of speed to beat others since I like to read about my watchers =w=.
4. I'll do multiple/repeats of characters. I'll lol if I get a page of the same character.
5. It'll be traditional art since I'm practicing it at the moment.


XD Also, I love the poll results--more people are interested than I thought. I've been cranking creepy J-Rock for what I'm working on now to watercolor. If you have a YouTube link to a nice Japanese gothic style song you love, fire it off to me.

So, I don't know about you, but my Christmas haul rocked for once. Dissidia, Painter X, and a Wii, bitches. And, no, I won't be getting fucking Brawl or Twilight Princess. D; Probably rhythm games are in my future. Suggestions of non-Brawl and non-Twilight Princess games? Is the FF game for Wii good?


ANYWAYS, IMPORTANT SHIT.

1. Since I know you'll only comment if I have a game update, if you haven't heard, Demyx sings and dances if he's idle during Multiplayer on 358/2 Days.

2. Also, game release speculation--the Japanese game got bumped back and there was an American 358/2 Days website created in the same span of time. SE also stated that games in the future would have a simultaneous Japan-US release for major games. It's speculation that the US and Japan will get 358/2 Days at the same time! YAY! However, most of the US SE people have realized, with SE's promotion fail of re:CoM, they could cock it up seriously. I wouldn't be surprised.

3. 8D; I took a partial internet break for the last several days. So, I wasn't able to work on things or reply to stuff. I should get back on track over the next several days.

4. Kuja's a homo and I LOVE HIM. Srsly, Dissidia is freaking sweet. It's Ishida Akira, so it's like a little Zexion cackling (he even still uses "Boku"!). AND KEFKA OIDJFOIJDOFIJDOF. HE HUMS THE VICTORY THEME WHEN HE WINS. I've lazily been playing, so I'm not too far into it (I just cleared Tidus, so Squall's next since I'm doing it in order of difficulty . Snoozefest. THEN ZIDANE OIDFJODJFOD)

5. Are you too poor to afford IRL commissions? Do you prefer to pay in essentially worthless monopoly money? Then I've got a deal for you! I'll be starting Gaia commissions once I'm done with my current commission.

6. I hear that I'm getting moar KH novels from my aunt (since she's, like, me only 50 something). Since I'm a hobo (and homo), I'm more inclined to translate when I have the first novels of a series. I'm probably getting my last KHII novel, the two KHII novels, at least. But... sdofjsofisad Who knows when I'll actually get them, though.

Alright, I'm sure astute members of my watchers have realized my girlfriend, !Sora-X-Riku was banned for a comment (--not one you'd think, actually, if you were stalking the journal, but an entirely different one). She is currently attempting to appeal since the comment was intended in a joking way and she meant it in a satirizing manner. !Sora-X-Riku hopes that the deviantArt staff will realize that she made an error in judgment and can return.

She wishes for me to pass on her apologies herself for her actions on her journal as well as this comment. She had deleted the journal of her own account already realizing what she had done. This probably won't reach the sea of people that flooded onto her journal, but regardless, she does apologize and wishes to make it known she feels that way.

In addition, she wants me to tell you that she can still get notes at the moment, she cannot reply. I'm also willing to talk to her/get messages to her personally.



Finally, I'm going to say that I will hide comments that are abusive toward her--I want you to all play nice :3. I'm sure you're responsible and mature enough to do so. You're talking to her girlfriend, after all, and I'm severely biased.

I also want you to keep in mind freedom of expression--everyone has opinions and it is good to listen to the other side for once.



Edit: Alright, just before it gets to be a problem (as I think this journal is being linked to) is that this is a contact information journal. I'm well aware of what's happened, I helped write the appeal note to the moderators. No need to argue a point to me, I know feelings were hurt and people were offended. XD I'm honestly just tired of hearing about the election. I knew Obama was going to win, srsly. If he does great things, that'll be wonderful. I'd pontificate about my view point, but I don't care to hear anyone else's in response. I'm just glad the damn thing's over, I'll leave it at that I was mostly apathetic to whoever won regardless of my vote.

However, I think it's a sad thing that the gay marriage bans all passed--which was the more relevant issue to me. I've written my representative in the past with varied results about civil rights (one time, it did work, with uplifting the ban of people with AIDS from entering the country, so never think it's too much), and I wish it could be otherwise in my state years ago. I think it's a civil rights issue that shouldn't be decided by the states--it's kind of like if it was a race issue being voted on by the majority of one race to effect another in my eyes.

I'll be greedy and state that I wish more people would have donated to the Human Rights Campaign (before you jump all over yourselves, I'm not directing this to my watchers XD--oh lawd no, I'm as poor as all of you).

vwv; Sorry about preaching to the choir about gay rights, I wanted to speak my peace on the topic, since most people seem to be focusing on Obama more than this.

Introduction:
Today, I conduct an experiment that's conducted as scientifically as possible, for the sake of dA signatures everywhere.

I'm sure most of you have seen the arbitrary signatures in which it states "98% of x likes/is a y, if you are one of the 2% that does not like/is not y, post this in your signature!" My intention for this experiment is to investigate the statistical accuracy of this claim. Common replacements for y are "yaoi," "prep," "rap," or "smoke weed."



Definitions:
dA user - a person who posts art or uses the journal. People who have a collection of favorites or a club account will not be counted in the statistic.

Before I start my experiment, I must state what my operational definitions are.

Yaoi Support: A stamp signifying a user's like of yaoi, shounen-ai, BL, slash, m/m pairings, gay pride; art of this nature; or a journal on the front of stating their like of this.
Prep: A stamp stating the user is one or pictures of the user in appropiate clothing of a prep. Journal proof.
Rap: A stamp stating a user is fond of or participates in composing rap music, art denoting a fondness for rap, journal stating fondness of this genre of music. This is negated if the user has a clear show of rock and roll liking as well, as the phrase is usually "has moved onto rap."
Smoke Weed: User has a stamp, journal, or art that signifies marijuana use.

Methods:
This experiment is conducted with the use of the random deviant feature available through use of the random button. 100 user accounts will be viewed and recorded.

All of the statistics posted in journals have been disproved. Closest to the statement of "98% of dA users are yaoi fans" is closest with 7 of 100 liking yaoi with the terms set above.

A possible flaw to this design that I have taken into consideration is the favorites section, which was excluded. Favorites were not calculated with the total, as they are too cumbersome to navigated and the dA user could potentially be favoriting out of composition of the work, not the subject matter.
