yeahhhh so i better do this quick before i change my mind again.....

i haven't journaled in a long time. And i mean a LONG time.

i know i'm a little slow but i've realized school's started again. i had an awesome summer full of art <3, friends, relaxation, etc.

so i also weekend. friday night i went with rach s. and like 8 of her friends (i only knew like one of them >.< to Ruby's and then watched Clue at her house. it was fun saturday i got ten hours of community service for performing (singing) across the street from the 99 ranch store. that night, we had a Lucy's party/ reunion-ish-thing a lot of us old lucy group (including all the seniors, connie, etc) came and we had an awesome time playing cards, gamecube, etc. everyone's getting so old :') Sunday we had church (haha we sold boba afterwards for katrina fundraising) and then we went to chinese school. O_O a LOT of people i know are starting chinese school this year. I feel so popular there xD "hi! Hi! hey! hi! hey, meet my friend ___, ...." is how the day went. xD then i did homework. fun stuff.

yeah today was pretty good. i went to summer school then lluvia, WOI and i went to pickup stix for lunch :3 yummy and we had an awesome time laughing a lot.

And i mean A LOT.

lluvia had a laugh attack and then i couldn't help it and then we were trying to get WOI to join in....:3

then i walked max (the labradoodle we're pet-sitting ~SO cute!!!) over to the other rach's house and she returned my guitar book (long story) and we caught up on the latest "gossip" *lol* jk

then i was extremely pooped and played piano and then COLLEEN calls and me colleen and WOI go hang at the swimming pool i saw a lot of ppl there...haha like alyse and anna...

and now i gotta get off the comp and read that shojo thingy WOI let me borrow! :3

....Chinese New Year!!! *blows horn thingy that makes loud sound*

^_^ yesh ate dumplings today...went to an asian buffet with other chinese families yesterday to celebrate...

oh and this...about the annual chinese new year celebration...scary...this is wat i said to phoenix:

"O_o did u see that one song where there were like shrek and teletubby etc things dancing? y'know, like the costumes? it was scary..."

yesh...there were dancing shreks and teletubbies and winnie the poohs etc in one of the songs....*shivers* then there was like others who tried to do hip hop moves to chinese new year songs...it's like break dancing to yankee doodle O_o (that was a really bad comparison xD)
*shivers again* teh whole strangly colored backgrounds and dancing reminded me of that shingo mama video clip a lot....

but other than that it was good stuff ^_^ only watched some of it tho...but we've got it recorded...

I was downloading teh adobe thing to read files and stuff on this newish computer (to read my chinese hw agenda thing and the bio ch37 reading guide) and it said that i cud download photoshop with it!!!

For teh past few years I've always thought that u had to go pay a bajillion dollars to buy it or sumthing!!! that's was WOI said!!!.....

so confused rite now...I'm gonna try it out now and see if it really works... i hope it's not sum weird virius thing and that it doesn't work...that would really suck.....

alessandra (lluvia), when we first told her he was here, said "do you have a gun? I need to shoot myself!!! quick!!!" xD but i thought she was gonna say "i wanta shoot him!" or sumthing...xDDD

TP vs LCC game at Westview tonite. I'm going. You better be going too.

Me and my mommy found a gun on our front lawn. We can't tell if it's real or not. It's wooden-ish and looks like a rifle. It was quite scary. We threw it away into a trash can outside. Then we asked my brother about it. He said he found it in a trash can (xD irony...i luv thee...) and put it on our front lawn. Then we got it outta teh trash can again cuz my dad (who's in china) said so over teh phone.

"FTP" now stands for three things instead of two. Forget Teh Past (^_^), F*** Torrey Pines (O_o), and For Teh Parents (@_@).

Teh LCC band is getting paid $300 to go to some guy's house (a USC alumni most definitely) on Saturday and play Tribute to Troy and Fight On.

The world is becoming so weird and freaky....

O yea btw i also had a del mar choir concert yesterday and i've been having songs stuck in my head ever since. grrr.... and we also have a sonatina recital tomorrow. grrrr again....

K well we had our last home game then....Westview (connie's school) vs LCC....

And we won thirty sumthing to 0!!!!! XD! Woot!

Next day..Had ta take the plan early in the morning :: wasn't so bad.... quite simple actually....xD like partow said "gah, they put us in last name alphabetical order again and I'm in teh room with all teh smart asian kids...." (her last name starts with a z, mine starts with a y...xD)

hm...then i can't remember anything else...so long ago....

then next week....short week!!!!

only three days of skewl....oh ya for those next two weeks i never slept b4 11:30 pm....was sooooo tired and stressed.....

LA CHOIR TOUR TRIP!!!!!!!!!! WOOOT!!!!

Oh man it was sooooo fun!!!!

Left early in teh morning thursday....g2g on charter bus.....went to Hyatt for our first performance...we actually did realli good....hm lessee...did a bunch of cartwheels with sara and alyse (is that how u speel it?) oh ya btw my rooming group was nevada, sara, alyse...gah...too much to remember....watched musical, Caroline or Change, sang in public....heh heh....we scared teh Cold Stone manager....my group and another group came into this really small coldstones during lunch break and all of a sudden everyone started singing Siyahumba (btw it's in zulu language XD!) and we scared teh person working there....xDDD.....heh heh....then there was when on teh bus nevada was talking to her friend on her cell phone and she was like "omg! where's my phone? where's my phone? i lost it!! oh wait...heh heh i'm talking to you on it"....haha it was so funniez....then....believe it or not KRISTIN WAS HYPER!!! she's never hyper!!! she's always like super quiet!!! and she kept poking alyse's hair and whenever teh air conditioning turned on she would break out in uncontrollable laughter....it was so weird....but fun.....oh ya on teh way to hollywood i saw a store that said kawaii anime and i showed kristin and she was like ooohhhhhh....oh and it was fun being able to say to ppl that " i was on tour in hollywood" xD cuz i kinda was and we got to see teh kodak theater and ate at mel's diner and stayed at holiday inn....nevada kept singing that song grrr...and i actually put makeup on and dressed up for teh fancy musical that's really scary now taht i think about it....hm and we also performed at teh huntington library...eve forgot to come in during our duet...oh well it was ok....then we were supposed to look around at all the gardens and pretty stuffers but my grouped just looked at teh japanese gardern which was really cool and then we found this big open grassy area and decided to stay their and we did cartwheels and stuff and then played mafia...how weird....hm....i'm forgetting sumthing....gosh i made a buncha of new friends....^_^....oh ya and i also bought myself an oscar trophy at a souvenir shop that says "world greatest singer" to remind myself of the trip and a couple postcards too and i loaned sum money to nevada so that she could buy a hat that said hollywood on it and she kept saying "i'm gangsta" randomly for teh rest of teh trip...shuda never loaned her teh money...heh heh ....ooh i also bought a keychain that said "i'm with the band" on it and put it on mah flute case...yay!....hmm....can't remenber anything else....got back at around eight or so friday nite and cudn't make it to teh torrey pines away game....but i guess it's ok cuz everyone told me about it teh next day....supposedly we won.....xD.....and it was like teh first time in history so there was even a newspaper article about it....everyone was saying never say never and there was a poster at our school that says "FTP" which supposedly stands for "forget teh past" but it cud easily mean sumthing else bad...heh heh...and WOI and colleen said that it w...

Heh... haven't updated in a while...

Woot! Mucho to talk about! Expect this to be a long entry!

Well, first of all, last Saturday we had our first LCC band tournament at Scripps.

This is pretty much wat happened:

(Saturday, Oct 23rd, 2004)

(Morning, 9:30 LCC)

(Tian, WOI, Colleen, arrive late and every1 stares)

(pep talk) Band Director (I'm not gonna name the name just in case; let's just call him Fleshy (hee hee ^^): You guys will treasure this day forever; I can still remember my first tournament when I was a freshman in high school...yada yada...blah blah...and you guys will start lots of traditions! Like stuff that you'll only do on tournament days and rituals! (NOTE: THIS IS HUGE FORESHADOWING. YOU'D BE CRAZY IF YOU DIDN'T NOTICE. BUT MOST OF MY FRIENDS ARE CRAZY. SO HERE I AM WARNING YOU NOW THAT THIS IS MAJOR FORESHADOWING.)

Us (band): Huh? Traditions? *whisper whisper -er, actually, talks loudly*

Fleshy: Hey! Be quiet!

(waits)

Fleshy: Ok this is what we're gonna do today blah blah blah...

(Rehearses on field)

(Lunch Break! Hee hee...moozak (music)!)

(Fast forward cuz I'm too lazy to describe whole thing XD )

(Performance! Yay!)

(Now approximately 3:15)

Tian: Woot! We did it! Did you mess up?

WOI: I missed a horns-up! I missed a horns-up!!! Waah!!!

Colleen: No. At least I don't think I did. Heh heh...

Others in band: Yeah...once..I forgot blah blah...

Tian: Well, it looks like everyone messed up at least once. But I didn't mess up. So that means sumone must have messed up twice.

WOI: XD You have the strangest logic, Tian...

(Everyone waits for bus to open so we can change out of uniforms)

(Suddenly I see Corey (freshman trumpet) in the bus and everyone is yelling at him. He is obviously trying to find a way to open the door, which is locked. Many of us are trying to get his attention and yells for him to press the emergency latch on the door. I soon realize that the bus is locked and the bus driver isn't here. This is wat I heard from one of the Schwartz twins (@_@ dunno which one) later: "Well, I heard someone say, 'Quick! Someone crawl through that open window!' and the next thing I know I turn around and find two feet sticking out the bus window")

(Corey finally breaks open the emergency exit in the middle of the bus (he broke it but shhh don't tell) and slowly everyone climbs in.)

Tian: Hey! Guys! We started a tradition! From now on we'll get onto to the bus through the emergency exit on tournament days! (NOTE: HERE! SEE? HERE! WASN'T THAT BIG FORESHADOWING?)

(begins to spread around ^_^)

WOI: No! Tian! Don't tell everyone that!!!

Tian: hee hee hee...

(Everyone rushes to change and jumps out of the bus quickly. The bus driver never notices. We return to the stadium to watch the rest of the bands.)

Oh! And I've got pictures! 13th from the top, 8th from the bottom is the one of with the emergency exit jumping. IGNORE THE CAPTIONS!!! HALF THE CAPTIONS ARE WRONG!!!

For example, this is wat some of them should say:

Wrong: Caitlyn performs a flawless exit as safety-conscious Band Members conduct an impromptu fire drill.

Right: Caitlyn demonstrates the band's new tradition of breaking into buses. (oh! btw, the one in the black shorts is WOI ^_^ )

Wrong: An avid student, Josh labors on Calculus homework between performances.

Right: A perverted saxophonist, Josh plays Kirby on Gil's graphing calculator to ease boredom.

Well, I just got back from the homecoming football game (which was extremely boring cuz we didn't hafta do our half-time show so I nearly fell asleep in the stands...), and who do I find at our house?

And do you know WHY they're here?

They decided that they wanted to play cards!!!!

I don't have much to say.

1. I got a new sig.

2. WOI GAVE ME FRUITS BASKETS 4!!! (I think she's crazy. She just GAVE it to me. She's like: "Here. It's for you. For being my editor." And I was like thinking oh! wow! why is she giving this to me? is she letting me borrow it? but i just told her i read it over the weekend! i don't wanna ASK her if she actually meant GIVE cuz that would be rude. Finally, I said: "Wait, u sure ur GIVING this to me?" and she's like "yup! It's for u!" and firecrackers went off in the background and I was all happy happy joy joy and i felt like doing a somersault and acting crazy for the rest of the day but i decided not to (good choice) and decided to put the book in the band storage room for the rest of the day so i wouldn't shriek everytime I looked at it.

3. I realized that I'm a really picky editor. Well, actually I knew that before, but it really hit me today. In English we graded DWA's and we had to write comments and I took FOREVER just to edit one essay while everyone else was editing like their third. We only had like a tiny sheet of paper to write comments on and everyone else wrote like two sentences while I like took up the whole paper with comments and suggestion.XD. the teacher only told us to write the grade we think the writer deserved and 1 or 2 comments why, but I couldn't helping writing more...*sigh*
The first paper I edited didn't add ANY supporting examples at all!!! Tsk tsk tsk... I felt really bad about giving her a low score, but I couldn't help it... Ah well.

4. Um. I've got Bio and Spanish for HW. Oh, and I also gotta write that check (well, actually my mummy) for transportation for band. Oh, and I also gotta write that check for marching shoes. Bleh, marching...

5. I KNOW I had something elso to say, but I forgot. I do that a lot.

6. OH yeah. I remember. I'm easily amused. Today, after school, I looked at the sidewalk and saw gum marks and I went on about this whole speil (sp?) about gum and why people just drop them on the floor or stick them to desks. I think WOI got really confused....Colleen was trying to talk to her at the same time...heh heh....

7. Ah! Yesh. The "experiment." Last week during lunch, WOI, Colleen and I did an "science experiment." We set out a piece of broccoli (I think it had terriyaki sauce on it), a piece of a chocolate, and a crumb of Funion out and decided to watch which crumb was eaten the fastest by the ants. There are a lot of ants where we eat lunch. Strangely enough, we think that the ants liked the broccoli the most. Yesh, very strange. If I get bored one day, I might formally type up the "lab" in "scientific method" just to be weird and strange.

8. I think I will post this same exact thing in my LJ. Just cuz I haven't updated that in a long time and I don't feel like writing a whole separate entry for it.
