I go on IMVU.com a lot (instant messaging/virtual 3D chat site) and see a LOT of stolen pixel art, usually stuff found around DeviantArt.

So it might be in your best interest, if your stuff does get stolen a bit, to go surf the sticker section of the catalog on IMVU. 'Stickers' on IMVU are 2D images people buy and can drag out and display on their homepage. I'm not sure if you have to sign up or not (takes two seconds anyway) to report things. If for whatever reason you can't report them yourself just pass on a link and I'll get on it.

I've reported 3 people in the last month for stealing 'famous' pixel artists work.

- When it says to type in your age in your profile, you put your god damned age. Not something cute like 'old enough!' or something what you think is funny like 'aprox. 109849 days and...' blah fuckedy blah. PUT YOUR FUCKING AGE, Y'HEAR. People actually want to know how old you are so they can see if your talent is good for your age or bad for your age, whatever - they don't want to read lame shit that you think is being different. How many times have I seen 'something-teen'? ALOT. Either type your age or DON'T AT ALL.

- Preview images are actually images that preview your work. Some idiots are all 'uh, I'm lazy, I'm not gonna make preview images for everything I make HAHA LOL LMAO OMG' - so they use the same damned preview image for every piece of pixel art they make. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT SUCKS. People won't preview your art when they see rows of the same preview images in the pixel art section because they don't know what it is and won't care enough to click on it because there's other preview images that showcase what you WILL click on. Are you nuts? Do you think someone will look at half of a pixel character's head and want to see the rest? Yes they do. Do you think someone will look at a preview image that says 'you'd better click me!!' written in black font on a white square and then several others exactly the same? No. No they won't. Use your brain.

- Posting the completely wrong type of art in the Pixel Art section? Can people out there read? I would think that people who know how to click onto the internet and can operate registration can read. But apparently not - there are some PHOTOS in the PIXEL ART section. There are collages in Pixel Art. There are blends made in Photoshop in Pixel Art. THIS IS FRUSTRATING TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO LOOK AT PIXEL FUCKING ART. Could you be a lamb and read what you're clicking on? Seriously, are you dense???

- Candybar dolls. STOP. POSTING THESE. ON. DEVIANT ART. SHIIIIIT. You didn't create them, you slid bits of clothing and hair onto a base and saved it and uploaded it. That's not being artistic, that doesn't take skill or talent. NOT YOUR ART. Stop doing this. Shithead.

- Lastly - save your pixel art as gifs. Preview images can be jpgs, that's fine. But the actual art must be in gif otherwise you get this stuff on your precious art called 'noise' and you won't get as good a review of your art as you would if it were 'clean'.

Actually, it's not really a bone...it's more of a tiny stick...perhaps one that has fallen off a very big tree but has broken on the way down and has become considerably smaller.

I was standing at the trolley that I was pushing around the supermarket for my mum who was off hunting for fetta cheese (don't worry, I assure that was the most uninteresting and irrelevant part of the story) and I found myself staring at cans of beans and pasta sauce and other such delicious canned goods. I thought of Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Can and started reflecting on why he made that statement with it and all that jazz. And that statement was that art doesn't have to be elite, that art is for everyone, and that we take for granted all the wonderful commercial art that is manufactured to us by means of factories and such.

New paragraph for your reading convienience. So then I got to thinking...well...what makes artists artists? Doesn't that mean everyone can be artists? Can an average Joe pick up a paintbrush and make a masterpiece? The answer is. I don't know. If anyone can be artists then the title 'elite artist' is meaningless. I think having elite artists is a GOOD thing. It makes you want to better yourself AS an artist. You feel inspired, right? So...this Campbell's Soup can makes art for everyone (to cut a long explanation short)...is that a good thing? Can everyone call themselves art critics for liking the look of that cereal box in your cupboard?

I wrote a damned essay on this and I'm still confused.

Anyway, I'm currently working on Oren Ishii's head and Elle Driver's body. In fact, I'm working on all of the members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. And some sprites. And some emoticons for a forum.

Going to town tomorrow to buy action figure of Gogo Yubari and Tiffany Lee Ray (hopefully in the latest horror series, like maybe get a Seed of Chucky version DD) and then I'm going to Kif's house to go to Dan's 18th party for happy good times. I hope I get to see people that used to ridicule me from college so that I can ignore them. I saw Kinsey yesterday and Alfie today. Kinsey is very, very good. Alfie was trash.

I am going to pixel the seven deadly sins - see I watched Se7en starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey and Gwyneth Paltrow and I thought 'hmm yeah'. Yeah I know - complex!

Then I was perusing doll sites and I found a real shitty version of the 7 deadly sins in really crappy dodgy blurry dolls on bases - and I thought 'eeergh...hmm yeah'. Which means 'crap dolls but...good idea'.

Then I was looking at a friend's dolls and saw a better version of the 7 deadly sins and thought 'YEAH!'

And today I scanned a cartoon of mine and turned it into a pixelled thing and now I want to start....THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS PIXEL STYLE! And I want it to be cool. So expect. Expect!

My child star portraits have been selected to be put on show for SSABSA next year! Yeeeay!


Mum bought me a Digital Camera like Simoneey's for like 800 bucks!!! And my grad dress is 1160 bucks!!! Why is so many moneys being spent on I!? I mean...I don't mind but....XD

Went to the beach yesterday and went for a swim in the FREEZING COLD WATER. There was a hot guy. I then dozed off in the warm sun and someone could have stolen my thongs but they didn't. Then mum picked me up and I came home and did stuff on the SPIFF new computer we bought. It's awethome.

I was really nervous and the first performance sucked and then our second one ROCKED and we only stuffed up a couple times but when we did we SAVED it and the audience actually laughed this time unlike the last audience we had which was made up of year 11 snobby bitches.

Only one more performance to go which is tonight and the moderator will be there to give us grades and whatnot.....gah so nervous. But we'll be great. But will we?

I am a bitch. My friends hate me. It must be PMS - blame it on that anyway.

I hate myself sometimes and now it one of those times and it couldn't come at a worser time because I am performing next week in a play and I am too stressed with school. Blah.

I, Robot was nothing more than a bunch of overly-computerized music video-clip-esque sequences with a much MORE over-used storyline, low-key acting, a poor script and bad, baaad one-liners.

Mean Girls is actually pretty damn funny with some interesting/original comparisons of African wildlife to teenage culture, fairly good acting for fluffy characters, and Lindsay Lohan's boob job does go well with freckles.

Stepford Wives is decent entertainment with wasted talent on Christopher Walken and Glenn Close but was too short for the complicated storyline and ended on a bizarre and faulted note. Nicole Kidman is EXTREMELY annoying but let's face it, she's just the next Hollywood pin-up girl which previously has had a string of skinny, talentless, 'beautiful' women - Renee Zellweger, Julia Roberts and Meg Ryan.

Spiderman 2 is bleh. Like the first one but more meaningless romance sequences with an eye fluttering Kirsten Dunst and a staring Harry-Potter-ey Tobey Maguire who is so wooden you could make Noah's Ark out of him. But good entertainment.

I'm going into school today (on a Saturday!! from 10 to 3 !!!) for drama rehearsal for the play I'm in. Cosi, you may have heard of it, you may not have. I am playing the lead role of Lewis - yes - the leeead. That means I have a lot of lines. But I learnt them. But one girl playing a SMALL role STILL hasn't learnt all of her lines and we're performing in two weeks ! Annoyance.

After school I am going home with Kylie and we're gonna watch Jackass and CKY dvds. Then at 7ish we'll go to a surprise party for this guy that we both really don't know - but I've never been to a surprise party before. It'll be fun. And alcoholic.

I bought a black hoodie yesterday when I saw I, Robot (which is crap) and I want to get something written on the front but I don't know what yet - maybe Tooshie Tooshie because when Kylie and I met Steve-o he squeezed her butt and said tooshie tooshie. Strangeness!

It's comfy.

At the moment I am working on pixelling a Child's Play 2 poster. It's coming along...PAINFULLY SLOW. But I'll get there.

I badly want to do more pixel art but my drama play 'Cosi' is in THREE WEEKS (freaks out) so I may be concentrating on that in my free time rather than playing.
