Recently i have been having some commisions done by various artists at not too exspensive prices, fair enough.

I had one done, which didnt turn out quite how i wanted it (please note no names to be disclosed in this journal) and hence sent the artist a note, just pointing this out. At the mean time i was polite on the picture, as so not to allow their public to know i wasent best happy. however a freind of mine decided to post his own opinions on the matter, which broiled up in a bit of a tadoo between the two. and now for a reason i dont quite understand, as well as ignoring my freind (or at least i assume) the artist is also ignoring me. and i dont understand why

I told him mny displeasrues, sure thats a bit of a problem but its a bit of a right in regards to commisions. i appologised for my freinds reactions, i still paid him in full and the picture itself has grown on me. i have kept this off any kind of forums or anything like that, but now he's compelty ignoring me and i have no idea in any way shape or form why this is. what have *i* done wrong? Really... seriously, what did i do wrong? i'm not too fussed that he's ignoring me, people ignore me a lot. but when i feel the ignorence is unjustified, or that no valid reason is given it irritates me. i asked him on MSN and (from what i assume) i was blocked on that shortly after. No one seems willing to talk about it, its almost like i did something horrible, yet i dont know what.

Someone shed some light on this matter, its starting to get to me. I doubt the person involved will read this message, but if so at least give me a bleeding note so i can sit down and think "ah yea. maybe i did do that"

i was taken to Hospital on Saturday night whilst suffering one of my monthly or so stomach aches, the case being different here as it was excruciating pain and such + blood in vomit (yay for details)

anyway, waited 4 hours to be given medicine that i brought back up shortly after. just been down to the local GP whom has decided i need blood tests. which I’m going in on Thursday to provide, as well as a "stool" sample (and if you don’t know what that is, its best it stayed that way)

Dear oh dear. to top that off, its 9.40am and I’m totally knackered, parents are at home and its raining. fan-bloody-tactic

Alienware computer is still down as well. And why does my dad insist on knowing *every last fucking detail of my life" for example, its impossible for me even receive a parcel or letter without asking what’s in it... just leave me alone! GOD STRUTH... stress is unpleasant.

Oh. i forgot to mention.

my main World of Warcraft account got hacked on Friday by some stupid git in China. its now under investigation via bliz to get it back to me.

I said on Friday when it happened "how could this week get any worse?" Well Saturday answered that question now didn’t it.

Good lord this sucks.

I'm having some issues regarding DA and Flash animiation. surpsingly enough i have actualy created a new movie (not discussing what as of yet) athough its short. the problem is, when running the published movie both out of flash and directly on my computer, it runs fine.

when i upload and run it to DA, the sound dysincs pretty badly, to the point where its not really watchiable. and i just... dont really know what to do. i mean do all DA flashes run off 12FPS or what? (mines allways run at 7FPS)

I want to get this sorted, as i'm planning to start work on the actual movie this trailer groans on about on saturday and sunday. but... ya, i need to get this issue sorted first...

My life's still pretty bog standard as i get up, go to work, do stuff when i come home and go to bed. welcome to my life. fun huh.

Really i don't know what to think of my life at the moment. Still i guess it could be worse. at least my NVQ3 looks like I'm going to get by it after all. this however, is countered by the fact that my boss is... well. lets leave that one out in case she happens across this or one of her kids does (not likely. not like she can pin me for personal opinions)

(cheap was the word i was thinking of)

i took a weeks vacation in august, 11,th onward for that week. (too lazy to figure out when it ends) so that will be nice.

Really i do plan on doing something. I'm going to explain now why i stopped creating Desktop Battles, a series which ran for what, 9 episodes and the spin off Mr Unlucky (which i enjoyed, and seemed the most popular)



i used Windows Movie maker to take the screen shots for file sizes. they changed it so you cannot take screen shots on their own now, just video.


FREAKING WONKERS!

Thats why it aint continued. although i would really enjoy continuing it. hence, i ask of thee, does anyone else have a program i can use that allows me to take screen shots of a decent quality (using my cam) yet with a file size no bigger then about 10Kb's each? (considering a DB can use up to 600 photos per small movie. i think Kitchen Krash was more around 900-1000)

This is important, as Von UglyButtox still reigns supreme in the battlefield, and ITS TIME TO STOP! (and for once, i had *pre planned* the main battle. not just set it up randomly as i always do. i KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN! I KNOW HOW IT ENDED >.< and i bugged some people about voice acting... i had the file of what i did somewhere. *lesigh* i need to find macro media first though. i think its on my portable HDD somewhere... look it up!

I love the way (Was re-watching old work) how all the voices are done so poorly... working with kids, i really do have to put some voices on. if i had had a better mic... well you might not have known every single one was done by me. x3



On the side note, i been messing with slot cars (Or Scaletrix as some might know) after i brought three Hornby cars at a car boot sale for a tenner. hence, something relating to that will be uploaded onto you tube sooner or later.


Had more thinks about commissions. and aye, i want some done again. alas I'm a strange fellow. i only use papal. no order by mail or shite like that. but yes, i am looking for some commissions of charters (mostly reference pictures) to be done for me. mail me if ya think your up for it. (i aint picky as long as it comes out in general what i wanted)

things aint changed much. World of Warcraft still dominated my life, but insted of a hunter being the lifesucker, i have a druid insted. a lv 70 tauren druid who runs Karahzan. great. (speilcy with that +8 hours on the timezone thing. bites bad it does)

my drawing has been... well what drawing? i aint really drawn anything as of recent. Drew something last night but not planning to post it for me own reasons (that and it bites) so meh, work on that in due time.

bedrooms a mess... all that needs to be said in that case.

youtube movies are still being produced and sorted. as you do. for instance me dave n shaun got together to do a cheap starwars type one. sure, it aint nouthing on ryan and dorkman but its worth a cheap laugh at best. so should sort that later.

i really dont know who's going to read this. and in all fairness, if you dont you dont. not like i'm going to force you to read it... or am i. meh.

Someone i know is blocking me, without telling me. the only reson i can deduce is because i went to spain for the week. but i did tell him this. i am not going to say who the person is, but they will know. its a bit offputting. i'm also tired, and fed up of being in the 30's on Wow. only 3 more lv's to 40... roll on 40.

*update of doom*

new camera is installed on the computer, and though my amazing computer weiredness i have a working copy of flash on this computer (just copied the files to it via a data stick ) which means BA BOOM DeskTop Battles can be finished! so for this i need some voic actor's, however i dont think anything will happen for another three weeks or so. i do have a semi plan for it, and it should be the last one, athough i might take advantage of an empty room in the spare room, where we were decorating for a week or so. so three week gap methinks before major battle.

i intend to do some more Spinoff's at some point too.

right moving on, first thing i failed my drivintg test. but i'm not dissopointed because i knew i blew it right after my first manuver, the reverse park (from a car) bad angle. then my emergency stop was too strnog, i locked the brakes and i went the wrong way at a turning. hey shit happens right?

So i went home and hoovered up... and chose to text the radio station about failing my test.

"dear emma, just failed my driving test for the third time and it damn sucks!" is what i said. so whilst hoovering up i got a phonecall from a number i aint aware of, i pick it up and its the DJ from kerrang 105.2 XD How damned sweet is that? right cheered my day up, so i got talking to her and ended up exsplaining what went wrong. and it went on the radio!

I joined an eveing class in didgital photography which starts next thursday 7.30-9. i'm hoping that thats gonna boost my skills in the art of taking photos.

Desktop battles is in indiffirent hold due to "fucked up" circumstances AKA my windows movie maker dosent work, my screen is broken and i'm using this monitor and were not getting a new laptol till next month... but we are getting a new one

Griffolia or Solarlay… debatable. The main problem facing Solarlay is she’s only 5 years old. However despite being 5 she’s already rather advanced in the knowledge of the human body and could quite easily tell someone how to do an operation. However her being a Lambeosaurus means she hasn’t got the hands to do this kind of thing.

As for Griffolia she would be teaching some from of military class. She was a soldier ya see, and so she’d probity make a good teacher in that respect. She’s also more mature the Solarlay. So probably Griffolia as the better teacher

02) Do you think 2 is hot? How hot?

Hiyakia? >> She’s sweet XD and is kind of hot << but then yaknow, she’s not that hot cause she hates fire >> Water elemental yasee

Yara bossing juni around? I don’t even think those two have met… Probably wouldn’t be anything serious, again she’s only about 5… and juni’s only 7 XD Damn all my charries are right youunguns! Anyway… Yara would probably send Juni off to set a booby trap for whomever she disliked at that time, and depending on who it is it might possibly succeed.

Odo? I dunno, she’s one of them their western biggy Dragons… so a big book!

Probably more sense for Hiyakia to swear fealty to Griffolia. Griffolia’s an ex liuentendent and Hiyakia’s a… madwoman.

Falkor… Defiantly Ateth. After all she’s about the same size as Falkor. Odo on the other hand is about twenty feet long >> wouldn’t fit in a room. Ateth only about six and a half feet tall. Although Falkor’s somewhat a slobbering Anthro dragon at time I doubt Ateth would let him touch her.

07) 2, 7 and 12 have dinner together. Where do they go, and what do they discuss?

Well for dinner the chances are they would all go to a lake. Hiyakia loves water. Yara is content next to it and Sunny likes swimming. As for dinner… Hiyakia and Sunny would eat fish, but Yara would eat greenery. She’s a veggie by nature yasee. As for talking, it would be random. Yara and sunny are only about 5-7 yeas old yet Hiyakia is 21. quite an age gap there.

08) 3 challenges 10 to a duel. What happens?

Oh wow this would be interesting! Rulk V Ateth… Rulk's an adolescent so this kind of behaviour is expected to be seen. Ateth's also a hothead. The advantage Ateth has is she’s a sword user. A pair of rapiers, she’s nastily fast with them, and she can also use her own claws (Anthro Raptor). She’s stuck on the ground though. Rulk on his instance can fly. Now for a while Rulk would probably try to claw Ateth for a while but Ateth wouldn’t let that happen. Eventually Rulk would probably re-treat and try burning Ateth from a stance with his breath. Now here she wouldn’t be able to defend so would take cover. So it’s debateable, it’s probably going to be a draw. That or Rulk would turn tail and flee.

09) If 1 stole 8's most precious possession, how would she/he get it back?

Juni? She’d get Odo or Kleen (mom. dad) to chase after you. Now no offence, but you DON’T want that XD

10) Suggest a title for a story in which 7 and 12 both attain what they most desire.

5) If defeat is coming your way ACCEPT IT! We all lose. Don’t have countless reserves hiding over the horizon
6) Pre decide battlegrounds before fighting
7) Tag teaming is allowed. Alliances are allowed to

I finished at the school on wensday and my training company has set me up with a summer placement which i start on monday

Within the next 3 desktop battles movies the war will be over! a series started in 2004 with the random createion ona friday night of little airfix plastic soldiers shooting each other. the russians and germans to be exsact.

Desktop battles has come a very long way since those minor skirimishes. it seemed from the start the Grey's were destined to lose. athough the Green and Grey idea was not brought into thr equasion untill Desktop Battles 4. Desk Day.

Desktop Battles 2 was a narriated movie with a single commandermoving thru allied terrioeoty. he got shot.

the third movie was the japanise sucsessful invasion of a British airbase. short and sweet. included for the first and only time, computer drawn additions. never again.

Then Desktop Battles 4.
That was the revoloution of desktop battles for me. the intoduction of the Green and Grey forces the sameold camera but new styles and a plot of some sort!

Desktop battles was off to a winning start!

Then...silence. then came Desktop battles 5. The funnies. not really a real desktop battles, but it counts. the inspiration for the whole movie being the first scene running thru my head with the toy soldiers.

Silence regined again for a long time. then

BA BOOM!

Desktop Battles 6. the Concevetory Clash. one of the best Desktop Battles that i have ever made, due to its overwhelming battle scene. it was also at this point, the the Grey high commander was created.

Von UglyButtox is one of the most feared men in the House, and his reputation is lived upto as the Grey's counterattacked so feriosuly after the CC that teh Greenies were pushed all the way up to the upstairs hallway (the next movie coming)


Small skirmishes in the frount room (desktop battles 7) and a assault on the Grey Kitchen Stronghold which failed has left the Greenies in a vitaly weak posistion


So how will this war end?

Will the greenies lose the defencive and be overrun by the Greys?

Or will Von UglyButtox's gamble to to throw everything forward in the attack fail him?

Okay... news wise they moved my driving test from tommorow to 21st. which is good and bad... cause i was ready, but now i have more time.

Drove my moms care back from grimsby (120miles+) and as said above, a driver cut me up so bad i almost had a smash ><

I was in the outside lane taking the 2nd exit.
He was on my right, and right next to me, and he TURNED to take the left which meant not only did i have to hit the frikkin brakes, but i had to swerve! All cause this lazy sod was in the wrong bloody lane! Damm and he didnt even stop when i did on a layby with my dad!

Damm i hope he gets stopped by the police for something...

This aint something i have offered to do before, so i will. if someone else gets my 1000th pageview besides me (I got 700,800 and 900... thats irritating) then i will create a desktop battles for them, and allow them to go in whatever way they wish it to go, which side wins, what happens ect. i know normaly people offer to draw something, but i'm not the best drawer... sepcily from descriptions, and i make my desktop battles better. anything in the whole world could happen in this battle, they could start fighting and end up playing football, or dancing or rancing or something like that. either that or they could just scrap.

Heh anyway with the worldcup coming up my patriotism has doubled... i now resorst to hanging the England flag above my bed, and wearing an England baseball cap.

I have started playing Never Winter Nights online, and so far i have because somewhat addicted to it. for last night hence, i was not doing too well on the fighting, so i ended up healing people which was a good thing, athough i got pissed off, cause i got all the half decent items i needed, exsported charrie ok blah blah, then DELETED IT >< i was so pissed off... yet i was able to save a few things *sigh* so that upset me... but i still have this phonix moon and star thing, and that suits me since i'm a Cleric

I started playing another game of Risk with my mates, and in this case am making a "game diery" i intend to put into flash and post on this site when the match ends. included treties drawn up, troop deployment after each turn and players.

Not saying who's winning (its not over yet) but that person is in major controle...

The camcorder which I used to take the photos is still in a testing format however, and may be used in movies to come. I have thought about widening my area of movies to around the town, the castle being the first place I am thinking of going.
Although the camcorder is to blame for the large file size, it is also a blessing in its own stupid way, because its so much easier for me to use, and I don’t need the laptop around hence I can go ANYWHERE I want and make a movie.

The new movie type I was messing with was a first person shooter view, which included all I wanted to test shooting being shot injured driving destroying vehicles talking briefing)
FPS DB’s are still a possibly I am messing around with. So you could expect some more in the coming weeks. Anyway Kitchen Krash, the project I stared in February is STILL in production, but if I lift my lazy tail and do some work I might be able to get it finished before the end of the week, I have all the voicing I just need SFX, and I know where I can get it from.

After that however there are no more planned battles, the war will still be in a stalemate. I am still open to anyone who wants to do voice acting for me. Also I have a picture of the Grey high commander “Von Uglybuttox” but I need a picture of the Greenie high commander (which I have not got a name for yet)
this Place is open for anyone who can make themselves look somewhat like a general (medals smart uniform hat ect)
I can do this myself with a friend since my dad and me have so many WW1+2 medals, but anyone who wants to take a shot contact me, your picture would appear in a desktop battles at some point. (Think about that you get to be in my crappy series)

As some of you may know I also got The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion yesterday, which means I may be pre-occupied towards movie for abit. This does not mean I will never make another one; I just want to play my game for a while.

Back to DB, I am also looking for ideas for coming up battles. If you have any mention them on Devart or contact me, I don’t care which way (although if you want it to be a surprise to peeps contact me)

Anyone who wants a copy of Desktop Battles 8 A Soldiers View should contact me and be prepared for a 33Meg file transpher. Do it early in the evening, cause I like to go to bed when i want, and not be restricted by a transpher.

After the stunning victory in the conservatory for the Grey’s things have been going wrong for the Greenies, and they have been forced out of the downstairs area completely by amazingly executed counterattacks by the Grey forces. This brings the war back to the stalemate it was in, 6 House years ago.
Imperial Grey Army commander in chief Von “Uglybuttox” puts this statement forward
“Were going to kill all the Greenies if it kills us too”
There was no comment from the Greenie commander.

Various scouting squads from Grey forces have been repelled at the top of the stairs, and the Greenies are making strongholds along the entrances of the upstairs, however since most of their armour was lost in the Conservatory disaster, the house holds its breath to see if a Grey breakthrough will happen.

The Tan forces have finally agreed an “All out” alliance with the Grey army after seeing the success, and we can expect to see tan forces backing up the Grey’s 24/7 everywhere. The Greenies have recruited the small but efficient brown army.

With daily bombing raids going on in Grey territory the Greenie aircrew losses have become in the hundreds +

How long will this stalemate continue? Will the two sides ever come to peace?

Ok rather random, but yea, a newspaper printed in the Grey territory and distributed to the troops for moral purposes. The war is currently going in the Grey army’s favour, but that can change quickly

I am working on 2 projects currently, one of which is a brand new concept to the whole desktop series. It’s a pilot, but if it works then it could become a very very important add on to the series. It could mean longer movie times, and more suspense… but you have to wait to find out what that is.

I’m still looking for good voice actors to play pieces in projects to come.

I have a new camera, which I am also piloting, the downside of it is that the file sizes are bigger, and hence the overall movie sizes are bigger. The good thing is that the photos are better quality, and bigger. It also means this new type of movie is a possibility, and its easier for me to use it. It fits on my tripod better meaning better stability during movies.

I’m still in testing phase… but expect another movie by the end of this week (commencing March 20th)


*IMPORTANT UPDATE*

The new type of movie is complete but i have tried twice to post it today to no avail. with a filesixe of 33 megs it takes just an hour to even post the stupid thing. so i hope i can get it working tommorow. also Grey forces have broken through the Green defence on the stairs, but have been repeled by a swift and super effective counter attack.
