Christmas. I hope you guys had a fabulous one. WHAT'D YOU GUYS GET? .... I got a bunch of shit that it's not even funny. Parents gave me an iTouch, Beatles Rockband, the Gentlemen's Alliance Cross - Arina Tanemura illustration collection, Hunted by P.C. & Kristin Cast, Tempted by P.C. & Kristin Cast and a Miku Hatsune Nendoroid figurine. lol it looks like this: [link] You can even take off the head arms and everything. It took me almost 30 minutes to put the body back in its original place 'cause her left ponytail kept falling off then the whole thing just fell apart LOL. I got Tap Tap Revenge 3 on my iTouch, and lemme tell you I'm a beast. Let's play together one time, yes? 8D

So I opened all those presents on Christmas. The following Sunday, I left for Denver, Colorado for lovemercy, which is a youth convention and MY GOSH, it was the best thing that's ever happened to me. It took us 18 hours on the way there, and 13 hours on the way home. I had originally planned to upload videos during the sessions. The singers there during the sessions were Kristian Stanfill and Lyrycyst, mostly Kristian though. It was funny because they let you go towards the front of the stage while they sing and the first session, we just stood in front of our seats and didn't even bother to walk towards the stage. Second day during the session my youth leader and I were off to the side of the stage and our group followed us. Last day, last session, we SPRINTED to the front before they even finished praying. And we powered through a whole crowd and boy, it was hard. YOU TRY POWERING THROUGH A ROOM FULL OF 900 PEOPLE. The weather there was AWESOME. snow everywhere. On our way home we spent an hour playing in the snow passing through Utah. It was excellent lol. I'll upload pictures up onto my flickr once I get them all. There was also a comedian there that did sketches before the sermon. It was a good laugh.
Afterwards we did this thing for jr. high & high school called lovedenver, where .. we go out into the city and if some homeless person asked us for spare change, don't just give him spare change. Go out of the cultural norm and buy him a meal. They had bouquets of flowers and we could just hand flowers to people and tell them that they're loved and appreciated in this world. It was a nice experience doing things for people that they weren't used to happening. We got real creative and we bought sets of food, water bottles, cookies and everything and handed them out.

... Then there was a crazy afterparty at the Hard Rock Cafe from 10PM - 1AM and only 500 of the 900 something people can go to it. So we went ouo; and it was SO hard to dance there with so many people and so little space D;

AND.
I bought these wicked cute shoes from Ross for $9. They're Harajuku Lovers 8D. lol the original price was $65 > $9 GOOD DEAL, GOOD DEAL 8DD

We managed to get home at 10PM on the 31st, my dad's birthday & New Years Eve. I stepped out of the car for like .. three seconds and screamed, "IT'S HOT OVER HERE D:" when the weather was like 56 degrees LOL. But it's good to be home.

It's one thing for him to have a birthday on one of the biggest events of the year [no pun intended], but it's another when his favorite daughter (LOL) isn't there to celebrate it with him D;

While we're on a topic of Christmas / a new year, I want to ask of a favor from you guys. Would you mind answering these questions? I'd really appreciate it. [:
1] What was the most memorable / sentimental moment(s) of this year?

I'll answer these myself as well .. considering the fact that I just made these up off the top of my head.
1] Oh man, I don't even know where to begin with these memories. I think it's safe to say, that all the moments I've spent at school or with my best friend, laughing and having a good time would be my most memorable ones. Also watching New Moon, freaking out about Taylor Lautner like a crazy, obsessed little fangirl hahaha.
2] Most of my moments, in 8th grade were spent with my friends Alyssa, Angel and Stacey. Some of my [on-going] freshman year was spent with ~Baylee-Buttercup, Angel, Stacey and Caleb. New Moon was with my old classmate Megan, Stacey, her boyfriend Victor, and ~Baylee-Buttercup Victor wasn't too thrilled about having four girls squeal over Taylor Lautner half the time, and other times he was a blast to have around ... lmfao making fun of Edward ... how fun. (OMG EDWARD FANS, DON'T SHOOT ME.) And of course, year 'round I've had THE best moments with my best frieeeend ~its-meghaaan. A&F bestie<3. A&F.
3] For 2010, I hope on achieving the goal of bringing happiness to more of my friends. It's no easy task to do but I honestly can't stand the thought of someone being upset with me. I want to be a better friend and be there for them as much or even maybe more times that they've been there for me. :ohnoes: I also want to become more serious with my schoolwork. I started slacking off again. You could just say that I'm lucky that I managed to keep my grades as high as they are now. In between those numbers lie a whole hell load of procrastination and slack. I need to carry my own weight and realize that I'm not in jr. high anymore. This shit counts now.
4] Oh yeah, most definitely. I've made a goal to become a better artist. & to get 100 subs on youtube x'D
5] Heck yeah I achieved that. I'm still working on it, but in my own eyes, I've improved. o_o And you guys should know me well enough to know that I can't see my own improvement half the time. And YES 8D I have! I'm so happy! I'm up to 115 subs and counting, and I haven't been so happy about something that small in my life.
6] For Christmas, I'd love a new camera. Or maybe a tokidoki calendar. But if you guys don't know me in real life, don't bother x'D I'm perfectly happy with maybe a drawing of Mae Sunshine or Leticia, or any other of my OC's for that matter *u*

AX was so much fun gaiz. I wish some of you went, and I would've been ten times happier >w< .__. But I'll have to be honest, my dad and I thought that last year was way more fun. Even though I lacked pictures last year. IT WAS STILL FUN. And I got to see LM.C last year. D| But anyways onto the report.

As most of you guys know, I went with :iconstaraura:. I've never lol'd so much in a car in my life. The car trip went by super duper fast, whereas when I rode with my dad, I slept xD We took some pictures as we waited! 8DD or as Nikki calls it, "lolshots": [link], [link], [link], & [link] We later played blackjack . . . and she whooped my rear end.

LOL excuse the watermarks on most of the photos. I'm too paranoid of stealers.
Kris went as Mio Akiyama from K-ON. I thought it was cute ;D But she lacked the tophat. People still recognized her though. >w< but we found a really awesome Mio cosplayer: [link] And maybe like five others, but hey, who's counting? AND THERE WERE NO FREAKIN YUI COSPLAYERS. Sadly, I didn't get to go through with my Anya cosplay. D:< I was super upset. But I found some really good Code Geass cosplays to make up for it ;D

The exhibit hall's always my favorite part because I get to see some of my favorite artists, meet them and I feel as if I'm talking to a celebrity. 8D I bought 6 KH prints. [link] & [link] and got two chibis for free. And there was something that really made me feel stupid. When I was deciding what to buy, I got suckered into buying the whole set. For $60. And it was right when I got to the exhibit hall. $60, just like that. Gone. I was browsing for dolls last night, because I figured I should start a new collection. I bought so much Hello Kitty in the past, that I'm starting to runn out of things to collect. .____. Unless this counts: [link] lolol Cinnamoroll

There are so much more I found there, and I swear, I nearly passed out. [Click on the names to view the dolls] I found Suigentou, Suiseiseki, Souseiseki, Shinku, Hina Ichigo, Kanaria (Lol she doesn't look very amused) and Barasuishou (Her eye kinda bugs me because the color goes against her whole outfit >< Darn eye color) *u* They just need Kirakishou and the set would be complete. Being the crazy Rozen Maiden fan that I am, I would kill to get those dolls. Plus the Lolita doll above. >< The Rozen set is about $100+ each. ;A; I could've asked for them for Christmas or my birthday.

So I suppose my collection will start as soon as I buy that Lolita doll and hopefully the Rozen set before they become sold out.

o_o I couldn't think of a title for once.
Haha, you guys. How could you NOT know what Perfect World is?! I mean seriously! It's possibly the most addicting game I've ever played, aside from MapleStory. But MapleStory hated me and always closed when I tried to update the patch. D:<
Anyways, that's not my point.

My final grades are in! :D I got 100%'s on my bible & Spanish finals. My lowest grade was an 80% which was actually a 60% but because my science teacher was being oh-so-very-nice for once, he gave us a mandatory bonus question and it boosted my grade up by 20 points. BUT WE GET A NEW SCIENCE TEACHER 8D Woohoo!

You know how addicted I'm getting to Neopets now?! After an almost 2-year hiatus from that site, I suddenly get back at it and can't stop playing.

ANYWAYS. Art time.

=MaiSala, I love you. ASDFGHJKL;' I LOVE YOU. I put up with all this stress from finals week, (which is done & over with! 8D) and then I put up with stress from my history report and the spelling bee (won 2nd place! 8D), and I come home, check deviantart then BAM. Subscription. So Mai, thank you, for the second 3-month subscription. And my dad is also coming home from Monrovia today, after a week. I missed him like crazy. xD -is a total daddy's girl-

Yesterday was the scariest day of my life. (Well, not really. But kinda close.) D: Me and ~its-meghaaan were hanging out at SMR and before she came, I spilled coffee all over my phone. Happy Late New Year. :heart:

Okay, so, my contest would be postponed. Due to school. Ugh, I go back on the 5th! GRAWRR. I don't want to go back to school. I'd have to put up with my science teacher who's a total douchebag and doesn't even teach us anything. You know, he let us have open book tests since like chapter 3. xD And he's relying on us to act like we're adults and study on our own. Oh joy. I'm gonna be pretty much screwed on our science finals before first semester ends.

Well. My birthday is soon. I'm really excited for that. And I'm really wishing that I can get not only CS3 or CS4, but also a new room. I've been dying to get my room renovated to make it really mine. Sleeping in a room that used to be our family library got really irritating for me because I used the bookshelves to display my jewelry boxes, perfumes, earrings, lotions, etc. And I have to use the books behind all that to hold up my headbands. I have a lot of drawings planned out, and I have a new design for Claire. And I'm also renaming her Ricotta. LOL she's named after cheese, but i thought the name was super cute. :heart: I'd show you a WIP, but it's for a contest entry, so I can't show you guys just yet. ;D

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope you guys got what you wanted from Santa. I hope you were good too! ;D
To those who fulfilled a wish on my wishlist (and for those of you who at least attempted to,) thank you! I really appreciate it!
lawl, I got like 12 people sending me "Merry Christmas!" text messages, and I swear, I think it lagged my phone. LOL fail.

Also, I think I may postpone the contest for a while since I have no motivation at all to draw. I just have contest entries to do, and that's it. I was going to draw something for Christmas, but I forgot.

So on the other hand, what'd you guys get for Christmas? I got some of the stuff I wanted, and I was super happy. I'm still lacking Photoshop CS3 or CS4, but that's alright. I still love my parents for buying me the stuff that they bought.

For those of you who saw my WIP of Angelic Beauty, I decided to make a lineart on MS Paint and on Photoshop for you guys to color. Here are the links:
