So, it's been about 9 months since this thing was updated. In those 9 months, I have:

Been back to Germany 2 times
Been to Georgia
Changed an ungodly amount of diapers
Come close to puking multiple times due to changing said diapers
Lost sleep
Completed another semester of college
Started another semester of college
Obtained DAZ Studio 3 and multiple morphs/textures/objects

So, it should be no surprise that I haven't updated this.

In any event, Hannah is now 9 months old, is crawling VERY fast, starting to try and walk, and has become very vocal. I get in what art I can in between diaper changes, watching the baby while Dawn gets a break, working, and going to class. I'll have some renders of things I have created in DS posted shortly, but my regular art has suffered greatly and I need some more practice before posting anything made by hand.

---Sarge

Moving absolutely SUCKS. This is the LAST time I try and move myself. Next time (in a few years) I'll hire movers. No matter HOW much it costs!

Basically, we closed on the house last Thursday. At 1pm, I went over and got a u-haul. It was 24 foot (more than large enough for us). A buddy of mine helped me move all of the large furniture into the truck, and then helped me unload it at the new place. I have to say, Tempurpedic-style mattresses are incredibly comfortable. This is to offset the amount of effort it takes to haul one up a flight of steps!

Well, after the furniture was moved, that was basically it for the day. The next day (Friday), my wife and I moved the boxes. Our at least, that was the plan. When we got over to the old apartment to start loading, the truck wouldn't start. After an hour or so of talking with the breakdown people (who initially thought I was in the town of Springs, Colorado. No such place) at uhaul, I managed to get it started and moved where we could start loading. Now, here's the problem. My wife had to head to work, leaving me to do the loading. The boxes went on fine, but then I started running out of time. I had to return the truck by 1pm. At 11:15am, we finally had everything loaded. That gave me exactly 1 hour and 45 minutes to drive to the new place, unload, and get the truck back to uhaul.

To make a long story short, I made it. To expedite the process, we just loaded everything from the truck into the garage. We're still unpacking those boxes. And the old apartment isn't completely empty, either. We had to prioritize what went and what could go later. So now, we have to unload the boxes from the garage, finish removing our things from the apartment, clean said apartment, and then reconnect all of our electronics. Preferably by this weekend.

Wish us luck! And pray that our backs don't give out!

Well, people, my wife and I are buying a house. We found a nice one, well within our price range, and very new, too. Built in 2006, and by buying it, we will actually save money (something like $200) over what we're paying for an apartment right now. We close on the house on Thursday, and move the same day. The only drawback is that it's only a town house, not a full house. But, go with what you can afford, right?

On the artwork front, not too much going on these days. I'm taking 3 online college classes for my computer security degree, I'm revising my teaching materials for work (and teaching on the road), and spending my free time with my wife and WoW. Maybe after we get done with the move, and after I get back in town after my December trip, and after I get back from vacation in Texas over Christmas.....

Aw, who am I kidding. I'll get new artwork done when I get it done...

(BTW, for anyone who wants to know, Tiffa is working with Pump Records, go here: [link] . She apparently is forming a singing group, and recently held auditions. Go Tiffa!)

Ok, so it's been close to 6 months since I last updated this thing. Needless to say, I've been rather busy.

In the past few months I have managed to complete a series of documents totally some 2-3000 pages at least. This includes a Student Training Guide, Exercise Guide, Lesson Plans, and all associated Slides.

So, along with playing WoW when I have off, I really haven't had the time to update this thing or work on any artwork. But rest assured that I will have some up in the next few weeks.

It's not like I have anything to do right now until government comments come back....

Edit: For those who remember her, I've been trying to find out what happened to Tiffa. She has a DevArt page, but the last update was 06/15/06, about a year ago. Has anyone heard from her lately? Someone with her talent should never disappear like this. Even her website at KageUniverse.com is gone. It's been replaced by a squatter selling porn.

For all the old MA'ers, we should try and find her. The last thing on her LJ was a rather depressing poem that was almost suicidal.

UPDATE!!!!!!!

A little further research indicates that a Tiffany Lei in Vancouver is collaborating with a Canadian Hip-hop artist called XYL. The location is right, the description is right, and the fact that she is singing is even more of an indicator that this may be our wayward artist!

So, for anyone who was worried that she may have gone and done something she shouldn't have, indications are that, yes, she's still alive.

Well, today is supposed to be the day. Here in about an hour or so, the movers are supposed to be dropping off all of my stuff. I'll FINALLY be able to get my main system up and running. Not to mention my books, DVDs, DVD player and stereo, furniture, etc.

I find it awesome that ITT actually is paying me to stay at home today and move in. They're allowing me to charge the time I spend moving in to my project! This is a good company to work for...

So, here I am. Still waiting on my stuff. I left Germany 3 months ago, all my household items got shipped on 1 Sept, and the shipment JUST got into town TODAY. And they can't deliver it until next week.

Of course, until then my tablet will be unavailable. So all the art I just uploaded (previously posted at the Manga Academy) will just have to sit in my scraps.

Well, I have finally broken down and gotten a DeviantART account. Been putting it off for no particular reason.

Now, must remember to upload old artwork to build gallery...
