I got a new graphics card and everything runs much smoother. The only problem I've found is in Garry's Mod. Sometimes, on certain maps or when I spawn certain models or have shaders overlay the screen, the graphics get all weird. I can fix it by purposely inflicting the bug and then reloading the map or going to another one, because it doesn't happen again after that until I exit and reload the game. I'm managing to work with that.

I also picked up a copy of Scribblenauts. It is fun and you should get it. I've been posting my findings on Twitter because I can. Also that's the most easily updated site I have when it works.

And FOX Sunday is back. So I'm watching that. Three out of the four cartoons on there are by Seth MacFarlane. At least Adult Swim still shows King of the Hill. They need to get those DVDs out.

So, I went the summer without drawing something on here. Maybe I just draw more during school, which is starting soon, because of outlets and stuff. You can still request something, though, and I'll try to prioritize it.

Another Radiant AI moment in Oblivion: In the north part of the map, there were two Imperial Legion Woodsmen fighting each other with bows. Upon examining the loser and the dead deer nearby, it turned out that one guy killed the deer and took the meat, which the other guy wanted. But I took it along with the arrows and armor. He didn't chase me, though. He either knew better or just wasn't programmed to.

Also I got bored enough to make a Twitter. Don't ostracize me. I'm not going to post when I'm on the toilet. Also, mobile fees prevent me from posting anywhere but a computer, so I'll try to post things in proper English.

Oh, and apparently I've been here for 2 years now. Yay.

So, Eureka's back on, so that gives me something to do. Some of you might recognize that show as A Town Called Eureka. And there is still no Smash Bros. on the Virtual Console over here.

Still messing around in Oblivion. I'm still adding in music, and trying to figure out how to change the videos. I have the Bink encoder, but the sound is off for some reason whenever I try this one file. Anyway, I was in Bravil and I went inside the church or whatever it's called and this Argonian lady named City-Swimmer appeared in front of another door like NPCs do and suddenly dropped dead. Turns out she died from arrow-to-the-back disease for stealing bread. I read that could happen. Radiant AI is funny. I saw two people talking to each other through a wall.

If I could think of something to draw, I'd draw it.

I am eager for my vacation. Hopefully I will not contract a severe strain of any illness. I also hope to experience some culture. I've been learning a foreign language prior to the trip. I will hopefully get some practice, yet am still bringing a translation dictionary.

Tomorrow is the Digital Transition for the US. There may or may not be a riot or panic because a few people can't watch their Friday shows, but either way, I'm fleeing the country... and then coming back soon after.

Apparently, you Europeans are getting Super Smash Bros. on your Virtual Console very soon. Like maybe tomorrow soon. So I've heard. Nice to see you get a good deal for once. Now I see what it's like. Hopefully they'll have it on our Virtual Console by the end of my vacation or the month. And if not, I have no threats because I'm not good at those. No need, either. Who knows, they just might spend the rest of the summer uploading shovelware and LJN games and "surprise" us with good things right before a major holiday.

I've got some ideas for Garry's Mod when I get back. Perhaps battle reenactments. Nothing serious, because I typically don't watch serious Garry's Mod videos. Especially with that face poser's capabilities.

About freaking time. 10 years ago, I loved Gold and Silver. My favorite starter has been Cyndaquil ever since then. That game revolutionized the whole series. If they do it right, it could be awesome. They'll probably make the Ruins of Alph puzzles touch-based and treat the PokéGear like the Pokétch on the bottom screen. This could also mean 3D future Kanto. And the funny thing is, we knew that this was going to happen a long time ago. We were just anxious to when they would admit it.

When I do have free time, I can only just mess around online or with games. Lately, I've been playing a game called Excitebots. Like Excite Truck, but with animal robots so that somehow makes it better. I want to draw something from it, like maybe that beetle one. Someone already has on here. I just have background and shading issues.

Regarding the Source Engine, I've been playing Team Fortress 2 quite a bit. I often play Pyro just because. I also managed to get two of the extra weapons. Concerning modeling, however, I'm starting to understand the bones and stuff of ragdolls, but I just need to know how to get all the bones to show up and the collision model to be jointed. I can make physics props, though. I just need to figure out what immobile thing I can model.

Stupid cutoff title.

So, that Shaymin and Giratina movie aired in the US today. Big deal. I watched it until I got sick of it, and ended up seeing most of it while I waited for other things to come on. They portrayed Shaymin as this conceited nuclear bomb, which is half wrong and half awesome, and then it turned into a deer and sounded like Tails from Sonic X. Those films are getting darker. I bet something utterly horrible will happen in the next one. If they weren't about Pokémon, they might pass as super serious anime flicks.

Oh, and Swinub is adorable and the best of its evolution chain. Also, Buizel would totally win against a Steelix. Well, at least a strong Buizel or a Floatzel, not a level 1. And if not that, then it would weaken it to the point where a Bidoof could use its stare to make the Steelix pass out. Seriously.

My Garry's Mod loads slowly like many others, and for the same reason. There's too much content. It's worth it, though. After I found this player model, I started using it instead of Tails, which I was using before. Then I found out it's from some anime or something I don't know about. I just like it because it's a cardboard guy.

I've played a demo of Sonic Unleashed, and I have to say that the one level in it is pretty good. Of course, it's a speed level. If they packaged a Werehog level instead, they'd be missing the selling point. If it was just many speed levels in mostly 2D, then I would buy it. Instead, I'll rent it just to see how bad it is.

I just experienced the weirdest holiday on there, which is the Harvest Festival, which just so happens to be at the same time as Thanksgiving. The mayor, Tortimer, and the other animals, but mainly Tortimer, want to eat a turkey then. The problem is that the turkey walks and talks just like them, so it gets awkward. Soon, I find myself dressed in a Chibi-Robo costume, sneaking right in front of the extremely short-sighted outposts at every major bridge and ramp, to deliver 32 pairs of cutlery to the turkey, who hides behind things like signs, which are much smaller than he is. I assume much of that is unnecessary, like everything except delivering cutlery, but I like to add storylines where there are none.

I've only had the game for a short time, so I've still got a lot left to find. You can do designs for free now, but now there are Pro Designs to pay for, which I assume are the special shirts that you design the front, back, and sleeves so it doesn't look like a tuxedo front at every angle, for example.

I think Kicks the Skunk is the coolest new character I've seen so far. He hangs out on some stairs in front of an abandoned building and shines your shoes by making them look totally different and cool. And I said new, not overall. I still think old Gulliver is cool, and by "old", I mean the one from the first game (in America), where he'd wash up on the beach and you wouldn't be the one causing him trouble and having to save him because of it. If Gulliver wants to pilot a UFO, he should fix the armor or something. Or make lasers fire on those who try to shoot him down.

How To Request
It is as simple as leaving a comment or message on anything of mine in the site saying something such as "Could you draw ___?" or "Can you make ___?" or even "Make ___ please?". Maybe even as far as "CULD U MAK A ___ PLZ???????????????????". I am not stingy about formatting (as long as I can read it), spelling (although spelling helps regarding the subject), or where you comment (preferably main page, but Deviations are okay, along with messages). Requests are always open with me, it's just a matter of me doing them.

If you message me and want to remain anonymous, say so, or else I will, by default, credit you with the request. Requesting anonymity on a comment is just absurd because comments are public.

If you want a particular style, say so, or else I will do the style I feel best fits the idea. I may even try a new style. Also keep in mind that if the request is vague, such as just stating a character and nothing else, I will fill in the gaps myself, so be specific, unless you don't mind surprises. I won't do anything too drastic, though.

Request Completion
It may take me between a short time and a very long time to get something done, because of life tasks and not feeling like doing it and such. So be patient. Spamming that you need to see something done won't help, and if you somehow manage to annoy me too much, I just may queue it back. That's why I don't keep a public request list. It's because if people see a release date or a waiting list, they get anxious. And I don't need that.

When and if I do get something done and posted, I will message you with a link, unless you are watching me, and I might do that anyway if I don't check if you are watching. I'll message you even if you wanted an anonymous request, because messages are private.

What I Don't Do
I will not do commissions, which are paid requests. Mainly because I don't want to deal with Internet money and I'm not going to be painting something for a fancy art museum through here anyway, so I don't think it'd be worth the price, even if it was just one cent, because that'd still be a lot of trouble anyway.

I also won't do certain subjects because I don't really care for them. If I get such a request, I'll update this list.

I won't do things such as:

Soon, it'll be because of all the games coming out. I'll get Kirby Super Star Ultra and Sonic Chronicles for sure. After the not-rave review Nintendo Power gave Prey the Stars, I may not get it. A not-rave review from them really means something. I can't wait for Animal Crossing: City Folk, so I can convince Kicks the shoe-shining skunk to join the Resistance, find the real Gulliver, and overthrow Tom Nook and his forces. Or just screw around in town and city.

I've been busy with Source engine games. Namely, Garry's Mod. Plus there's school and such. I've also gotten the Spore Creature Creator Trial to work, but it is laden with glitches. Two creatures I tried to post won't, and a third disappeared for a while. I hope the full game (released today) doesn't have so many glitches. That's why I'm waiting on it (plus, it's $50, and I'm saving for games such as ACCF right now).

It's fun having a game-capable computer. But with great fun comes great technical issues.

I think I've gotten Anim8or to work on this computer, but it has a frame stutter issue. Therefore, I may or may not be able to continue working with that program if it has other issues. We'll see when I want to make something 3D. I don't want to have to buy a $500 American program just to make the Low-Polygon guys and Box Penguins. I do want to buy the $40 Orange Box (plus Garry's Mod), though, so that's why I'm downloading the demo.

What's with all of the crazy search bar chameleonizing? It was orange and now it's green. Were people not finding it, and then finding it too much?

Now there's a homebrew hacking program for the Wii that doesn't need to be attached to a computer. That's good for me, because the distance between the computer and my Wii is outside of USB cable limits. Hopefully I can get that installed.

I also hope that Super Brothers Strong Brawl (SBCG4AP renamed for the delays) comes out next week or in August.

Okay, fine, I'll talk about Version 6. The search looks cool, but now it has ads inside it like the galleries and favorites and stuff. At least they don't explode in your face. I also like being able to reply to comments right from your inbox. The new homepage is just the search page, so I changed my bookmark to the channels page, which is just like the old homepage. Everything else seems to work.

I need to draw more random stuff. Perhaps just random sketches in Flash MX might do. Just so I can show ideas but not be all fancy about it so it takes forever.

The bad: My Wi-Fi is now completely broken. The way it's broken, I probably couldn't get a LAN adaptor to work, either. And it had to happen during the time when the Nintendo Channel was released for the Wii! I'm also going to probably miss out on a lot of WiiWare and other crap, too. But I wouldn't buy that anyway, until SBCG4AP comes out.

The ugly: Glalie can be an ugly Pokémon. Especially in the wrong light.

He wins. Lucario's already in Brawl (I can legally say that now), but Buizel doesn't need Brawl to rock. Even though it would have been cool if he was a Poké Ball Pokémon.

Lucario's still cool, though. He was on my Diamond Elite Team.

Another note: I'm now indifferent about Collections. Since your Favorites is also a collection, I don't really care anymore and you can go to either Favorites or Everything to find my favorites. And with my Gallery, I changed the Featured ones to everything so people wouldn't wonder where everything went. But I also made an All Featured Folder to put all of those featured ones in.

I've noticed three things:

1. The collect thing is annoying on the Wii, on which I'm surfing often, because if you move slightly when you click, it thinks you're dragging. On the computer, it's not as annoying, but I'm still not using it. I prefer favorites over collections. If it wasn't as obstructive, I would consider using it.

2. There are ads all over galleries and favorites. No, not all over, just really big in the corner. These are not Deviations, so they don't belong there. Why can't these be sidelined? And you have to get a subscription to kill them. I know it costs a lot of money to run a site. Here's a tip: The less intrusive ads are, the more likely that they will work, because the viewer won't automatically avert their gaze or click the close button. Interactive ads also help, as long as they aren't just fake interactives that are just images which go to the site.

3. Two things about favoriting: On the Wii, it doesn't update your favorites until you exit the Internet Channel or restart or something. Messed up JavaScript or something. On the computer, it adds it to your Favorites collection also, which I then promptly hide it from, because favorites only belong in the real favorites section. So something's wrong on either system.

As long as members don't get the evil interstitial ads, It'll be fine. But for now, I'm not posting anything, even though 2 files are ready. It's because I'm tired, mostly. Maybe in a week or so.
