Of course, after my first week of school, its complete OVERLOAD of homework and cram sessions, and there's also this odd new law about teachers having Furlough days so they are required to take a certain amount of days off with a 10% pay cut, oh gosh the economy must be sucking for that to be going on @_@

For any of you that are curious, my classes are:

= Sex, Germs, & Diseases - haha yeaaaaa don't ask why I'm in that class xD ....but if you REALLY wanna know, it's a Science requirement XP

= American Literature I - I thought it would be more interesting...instead its just heavy reading nonstop @_@

= Data Structures & Abstrations with Java - I want to go into my corner of woe FOREVER for having this class...its so difficult! But it's for my major

= Environmental Science & Resource Management - This class makes me so depressed, its all WE'RE ALL F*CKED IF WE KEEP DOING THIS TO THE PLANET. It makes me wanna jump in front of a car or something >:

= Jazz Styles - this has to be my favorite class xD our teacher plays the guitar for us, and teaches us the notes and strings of it all, he also teaches us the history of Jazz, which is one of my fav genres <3


But there are also the pluses as well, I got to see all my college friends again that I hadn't seen since AX and I'm actually getting out of the house and doing things, unlike my whole summer where I pretty much stayed home and rotted away in the heat. Even my birthday wasn't too special, I went to Lazy Dog Cafe which was delicious but I was sorta stuck with my little Nephew who I had to take care of at the same time.

Hmmm another plus would be, I am GETTING PROMOTED at work! WOOOOOOO *parties* haha well I think I am anyway. Due to some recent hiccups with bad managers/supervisors, GameStop wants me to go through a 30 day trial period to prove that I am competent as a supervisor for the store :3 Thankfully my trial period is almost over, and so far it's been good.

And that's pretty much all current and up to date now xD Hopefully everyone is coping with returning to school better than I am!

I returned from AX yesterday, and I personally enjoyed it much. The convention was in the same convention center as last year, so it seemed a tad repetitive, but at least I didn't get lost lol
I ran around with some of my buds most of them time, and walked enough to make my feet cry in pain in those damn high-heeled boots Dx Hmmm the hotel was awesome too (The Grand Kyoto Hotel and Gardens in Little Tokyo), and even at the end of it all I managed to cosplay as Allen the whole time 8D of course after ditching the boots on the 3rd day and putting on a Allen casual outfit lol

I know most of my buds were definitely sick and tired of AX by the 3rd day, and I just wanted to say, thanks to them for putting up with me, my damn wig, and being dragged around. You guys were for sure a comforting addition to my whole experience there :3

I do plan on going again next year, but prolly for 3, not 4 days, for me, the last day isn't really worth it since there isn't much going on D: Heheh I will be cosplaying as good ol' Allen in his 3rd uniform (hopefully), with a timcampy hat (have it look like it's chewing my head), and drag around a keyboard to play The Musician and some other songs (yay for 14th Noah/Allen references!)

I'm quite glad to be home, but I am certainly going to miss everything that is Colombia. From family to the beautiful landscapes
Even if I did experience a rather unpleasant event, I wish the man to rest in peace and his family to continue on with their lives as peacefully as possible.

But now, time to move on.

Now that I have arrived from my month long vacation, I wish I could take it all over again. But with Anime Expo approaching, and money that is in need I trudged back to work yesterday xD
Nothing had really changed, and my manager, Alex, was relieved to see me after so long. Unfortunately, hours are small at the moment and I can only manage to scrounge up 8 hours a week...which will hopefully get me enough money for all of my necessities, including cosplay addons (new wig and boots), hotel, food, parking, and AX indulgences.

I'm quite excited to go this year, I'll be doing a lot of stuff, such as a Flashmob on Thurs and a couple of DGM gatherings on the 1st two days. Le sigh, I'm also trying to get more of my friends to come along and if possble cosplay xD It's quite lonely when you only got a small portion of buddies cosplaying with you :3

Hopefully, I'll remember to post something else on here before I go to AX and if not, I'll rant and rave about AX after it's all said and done xD

Me and my cousin, Natalia were walking the busy streets of Armenia, Colombia. I was blasting my music from my ipod and at an intersection, a bus runs a yellow light in a hurry, and the next thing you know, I got front row seats to a classic traffic accident.

It was quick and sudden, and I didn't realize what was going on until a couple of seconds after.

The driver, and most of the passengers were out and looking at the guy not really doing anything, so me and Natalia called for an ambulance and I tried to check his vitals (I am licensed in CPR)....and I realized that he was gone. Someone, who was only a couple of years older than me, gone in a second, at 9:23 P.M.

Right now my chest hurts, probably from the stress of the event, and I really am just sort of weirded out by the whole situation. I'm confused, which is my reason for posting this journal...I normally feel better after writing things down.

Well besides my incident tonight, everything is going ok here in Colombia, I'll give details once I'm feeling better. Hope everyone has a better night than I have had.

I am now almost halfway through my second to last week of the semester and it really sucks to have 5 classes to study for >_>

Projects/tests:

-Calculus Midterm Part 2 and Final (missed the 2nd mid)I'm gonna fail this one >_>
-Object Oriented Programming Project DONE This was so fuckin' hard...like seriously I was gonna like die yesterday trying to finish it...
-Sociology Final (I always fall asleep in this class...>_> ) DONE I gots an 80%
-80 slide art recognition ( I realize I fail at identifying artists thru their paintings) DONE I fuckin' missed one cause it wasn't on the study guuuuuide! Dx
-3 english essays (I've done two of them.....) DONE

So yeaaaaaaaaaa I don't think this will all end well at all...but on the brighter side, I'll be visiting family in Colombia as usual next Sat.!

I'll just be stuck in an airplane for 12 hours is all @_@ and I'll be returning on June 13, so don't expect too many updates, due to my lack of internet there.

And we cannot forget ANIME EXPO 09! WOOOO o god I'm so excited for it you guys have no idea xD I'm planning to have a room and go for 4 days and cosplay as the ever so obvious Allen Walker again! And I'm making Timcampy as well, since I didn't have him last time >:

But yes School is about a month and a half in, and it sorta sucks. Calculus is totally destroying me, but otherwise my classes are good. And when it comes to work, my creepy manager (the one who asked me out), is being transfered! So hopefully I get a real cool new manager, or at least one that isn't as awkward.

Oh and Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon for the DS came out yesterday...I'm going to be picking it up later to day before I go to work. Ugh I'm such a fan >_> but oh well it has Marth! Everyone loves Marth...even tho he is quite a girly man lol

Oh oh oh! Yea I got a 360 too...yay for parents! But now I owe them about 250 bucks.
-_-; damn me and my gaming addiction. And I now officially have all the new generation systems, ugh must control self from wasting more money! Dx *locks up debit card in a safe* And yes corteo you may slap me for getting it, I wouldn't blame you D:

So yea, hello everyone once again, I'm just going to rant a little bit, since life really hasn't been going my way lately.

FINALS, screw finals to the deepest pit of hell, I really am not liking this...I have 3 projects to do, and 2 essays to finalize to even have hopes of passing my classes. WORK has been awkward as hell, it was going great of course, that is, until my 28 year old manager asked me out...and now its not even remotely comfortable to work with him anymore. FRIENDS now I'm not going to name people due to privacy reasons, but my friend can't take a hint that I'm busy with life, and that I need to make a living, but he doesn't seem to take a hint, and accuses me of avoiding him, and with him dumping his insecurities on me...well it really isn't going well for my stress levels, he is a good friend of mine that I would never abandon, but sometimes it's too much for me. And there are some friends who are going through life/relationship problems, and I really hope that they make it out well and unscathed, I wish them the best of luck, and I would like to tell them that I am here for you guys no matter what, I want to help! I want to hear your problems and hopefully help you with them.

I just really don't like the drama that has been going on with me and everyone around me, I really want everyone to be happy and for things to be well again. But of course things almost never end that way...but I want to help as much as I can for the sake of them and for my own sake as well.
