Sorry I've been all dead and stuff.

It's a mix between artists block and the inability to cut the apron cord that attaches me to the sewing machine XD

Work has been less demanding so I have had time to draw, but right now I'm working on something which I can't talk about lest I jinx myself and blow it all.

My dad turns fifty this year - I bought him a helicopter flying lesson - and I was worried I wouldn't be able to see him as the party is on Saturday the 18th; Saturdays are always busy at work (add it to the fact that I'm 200 miles away and would need to get the train). Turns out I was given that Saturday off by accident so I can go but I'm in the Sunday so I can't stay overnight

I'm just happy that I can see my dad as I've not seen him since October

Another day of rollercoaster emotion in front of my workmates. Another tattooist shooting down my hopes of a tattoo because it's too complicated or small. Another Staffordshire bull terrier gets destroyed and has it's reputation soiled by some bratleigh who doesn't know when to quit. Another day of being told by complete strangers that I'm too young to know my own mind and body.

My healthy eating and exercise plan was going pretty well up until just now, when I scarfed a whole packet of biscuits.

I don't feel well.

As we move into another year, I would like to reflect on the most exciting things that happened to me this year:-

-Started a secret photo project
-Finally completed my ECDL
-Visited my mum and step-dad for the first time in years
-Went to my first anime convention (dressed as Kero from CCS)
-Finished collecting the Deathnote manga
-Moved out of Stephen's parents house and into our own place
-Started a collection of greetings cards with dogs on them
-Playing hostess to my dad, Hannah and my mum and step-dad in our new home (although not at the same time )
-Found a new job that will be easier on my hip

I don't remember the reason for joining, my art isn't all that great so it wasn't to broadcast my 'talent', but the name comes from my first OC the Soul Stealer (or Soulie as everyone calls her). The past couple of days I've been feeling kinda sniffly and I've had a sore throat, but about 2am this morning it just blew into a huge bitching throat cold.

I was waking up every half hour crying and swollen and I kept poor Ste awake all night with me.

Now I'm sitting here, wishing to a God I don't believe in, hoping he'll strike me down because I absolutely cannot stand being sick.

I am sooooo broody right now.

Earlier I saw a male Pit bull terrier and did my usual *approach the owner, make fuss of the dog, take photo of the dog* and while doing this I found out that the person's female pit bull terrier is expecting puppies next week!!!!

This gorgeous, stunning pit bull is the sire of the litter that's due!!!

So now I'm all broody for this litter of pure blood American pit bull terriers. I really want one of those dogs! The pups are being sold for £300 (which we can get easy) but we're not settled yet, and pit bulls need a lot of training, attention and an active lifestyle which we cannot give right now.

As I sit here in the library, using the computer to research Childfree websites and other resources, I find myself struggling to focus.

Even with my earphones in and music at a high (but not high enough to blow my ears off) level I cannot ignore the ignorant mother two rows down who has let her two noisy spawn run riot, screaming, yelling and generally making a nuisance of themselves.

These kids drive me mad. Mummy goes on the computer and allows them to do as they please, disturbing not only me, but some fifty quietly working individuals and staff alike.

Now, at this point I must sound like such a moaner, but I don't understand why people can't teach their kids that a library (like a church or movie theatre) is a place to be quiet and not squeal at the top of your lungs while running around like diseased badgers.

Right now Britain is up in arms over whether to ban the little blighters from weddings (another place to be silent and respectful, while a loved up couple make their vows). And people wonder why Stephen and I have decided to be Childfree.

The funny thing is, I don't hate all children, just white ones. White kids are riotous and undisciplined here, while Black and Asian children seem to sense when they're being a pain in the butt and keep it schtum.

Two days ago my iPod reminded me of it.

Yesterday morning I woke up and I could smell it in the air.

Today I walked towards the shopping district and I could see it in the windows.

I can hear you saying "but it's only September, how can you smell it?"

Anyone who knows me - really knows me - will know that every year I get what I call an Xmas Virus. For years I've started thinking about and smelling Christmas in late August, early September. I start drawing and hearing it in October/November and come December 1st I go crazy happy about it.

Just to let you know that it's coming, and it will be here quicker than you think (especially for me cuz I'm 21 and time moves double-quick in my mind) so for the love of Pocky start thinking about shopping and what you are getting for who; I've already drafted up a list.

God I sound like such a sooth-sayer don't I? The end is near OMFG it's the end bwuhahahaha!!!

Ahoy there!

I come to you today with a little story of something odd (but not entirely unexpected) that happened while I was hanging out with Stephen after work.

We were walking past the opticians, when I saw a pit bull terrier. As usual I got really excited and approached the owner in the usual way. I asked if I could take a photo and he said yes. Meanwhile, the pit bull - whose name was Roscoe - sniffed my bag and as I leaned down to take a photo, he smothered me with slobbery pit bully kisses. I stroked his head and eventually got a good shot of him after much fidgeting on his end.

I'll put the photo up on dA if you want to see how adorable he was.

A little later, we saw a miniature pinscher, one of the cute little dogs that you find in photographs with celebrities and on the Nintendogs Labrador and friends game (which I do play btw). Again, I went up to the owner and mentioned how sweet the dog was. I reached down to stroke the min-pin and she almost bit my fingers off. She growled and barked in a way that I've only seen once before; an old border collie at a rescue center who had been abused so badly that she couldn't be rehomed.

Funny, all this time the media has been shoving it in my face about how 'deadly' and 'vicious' all pit bull terriers are. How sweet and innocent all of the smaller dogs are.

Ok, so maybe the title needs explaning. Down the road from where I live, there is a house that has a Rottweiler. I know because I've heard it bark and seen it wiggling back into its house, so all I've really seen of the dog is its bum.

Until today.

Walking past the house, I noticed the door was closed as usual. Walking a few yards further, there was the Rottweiler, on a small patch of grass next to the road. I got a lil bit worried; dogs and roads just don't mix (unless that dog happens to be Bailey, my dad's husky-cross, who must have a forcefield or something because he continuously runs into roads and NEVER gets hit).

I went up to it - which at this point I figured out that 'it' was actually a bitch - and called her over. Well, called isn't the right word, all I did was clap my hands and she came to me.

She was so friendly! She sat down near my feet, obviously wanting some fuss, and as a Rottweiler loving person I was thrilled to finally be face to face with the dog I'd heard but never properly seen. She was quite an old dog; you know how older dogs have a sort of 'old and frail' scent?

Anyway, I stroked her fur and said my usual round of compliments which I normally reserve for Bully-breed dogs (Hello! You're so gorgeous aren't you? Yes you are! You ish beautiful! etc). I know dogs don't understand what humans actually say, but they do recognise the tone. She seemed very happy to be fussed.

Last night I has the most shit-freaky dream since two weeks ago (when in my dream I'd had breast enhancements and everyone was singing about them O.o ).

It was so weird I can't remember all the details of it, just loose flashbacks that stick in my mind.

It was very DannyxSam, I think someone had taken some of her DNA and fused it with a large Amstaff cross Wolf. There were loads of other female characters there; some sort of estrogen-fueled uprising I think, and even Dr. Gregory House made an appearance (great, now Hugh Laurie is in my head ).

I saw a pack of brindle bully-breed dogs - amstaffs, APBTs, English and American bulldogs, and a large Bull Mastiff - just running around and playing and having fun.

Kelly, my Satyr OC was standing in the middle of the bully-breed pack and firing random arrows for no apparent reason, and the group of female characters were laughing at Fred Flintstone being beat up by a pelican.

That's all that I can think of right now, but I know there was more to it than just that small menagerie of weirdness, I'll have to wait until it all comes back to me.

Just so you know, April 1st is my most hated of all the one-day-only holidays and I'd rather drink out of a bus station toilet that acknowledge it.

April Fool's Day was one of those days when I stayed in bed drinking booze and forgetting that it ever happened.

Ok, so yesterday I went to my very first fur meet. I've always thought about being a fur, but didn't know what it was like, what it involved; well I did know about dressing up as animals and Anthro Conventions but I didn't know if it was for me.

Yesterday I got my answer.

I was a little bit scared because I'd never been to any kind of pre-planned social gathering, with the exception of random parties. But when I got there, I hung around at the meeting point looking for , when some of the other people there for the furmeet came up to me and asked if I was looking for someone. I asked about the furmeet and I instantly felt very welcome, even though I'm not with any furry art websites or forums (not yet anyway ^_^).

I chatted and hung out with some really fun peoples, before we all went to Kimos; technically it's a greek restaurant but it did all kinds of other food too, including Pizza with anchovies - anyone who knows me will know how anchovies affect me - and we all sat around this great long table talking and laughing and having a great time.

From the restaurant we went to Quiggins and wandered around there for about half an hour, I went up to see a friend who runs a Candy place with Pocky and Oreos and loads of pick n' mix sweets. I got a bag of giant pocky, which when I opened it turned out to be roughly 12 mini packets of Strawberry pocky; yummers!! Dogs are man's best friend. ALL dogs. They were our friend when Lassie rescued Timmy from a well once a week. They were our friend when Greyfriars Bobby stood by his owners grave and waited for him to return, and yes, they were our friend when - during WW2 - Sergeant Stubby won a number of combat medals for alerting his unit of an impending German gas attack. So why is it that the Pitbull is under such scrutiny? Misinformation, that's why.

As humans, we learn that we shouldn't instantly believe everything that we are told. I'm not just talking about when your parents told you about the Easter Bunny or the Tooth Fairy, only to find out that years later that they were fibbing to spare your feelings. I'm talking about the media. The paper's tell us that all foreigners are terrorists plotting to bomb the next biggest national landmark. Is it true? No. We hear on the news how all black people are bloodthirsty cretins who'd shot you as soon as look at you. Do you believe such crap? Of course not.

Yes girls make their own choices about birth control and yes there are times when a girl gets pregnant against her will eg. date rape, but you men are just as much to blame!

You don't know what it's like to get pregnant or to make a life/death decision that could result in emotional scarring, or the scorn of women and mothers everywhere!

So the next guy who sidles up to me with a smile on his face and says "Ya know, abortions are just an easy way out for girls who can't keep their legs closed." is gonna find themselves having their balls ripped off with a wire hanger and fed to an abused pitbull who hasn't been fed in months!

So I got up at 5.30 this morning, had a nice long hug with Stephen, got dressed and grabbed my bag ready to go to work.

It was raining pretty hard and had been for a while; the floor was already wet when I stepped outside.

I walked to the station, was on the train for 5 minutes and got off at Moorfields, walked to Harrington Street and knocked on the staff entrance door. Another person was waiting there too, one of the security guards who started at 7 like I did.

Someone finally opened the door and I slipped on the metal steps inside. I landed flat on my backside and was in absolute agony. I was so worried my already damaged hip would be broken that Ste's mum had to pick me up and take me to A&E.

The doctor said that the bone wasn't damaged but it was bruised, so all I can do is rest and take my painkillers more frequently than usual.

I'm off work for a few days and so have a chance to do a few drawings and watch the film that got me for crimbo ^_^

Learn from this and promise me that you guys will all be careful when you're walking outside, in the rain, on wet stairs!

I caught a cold.

Stephen thinks I got it from him.

It's possible; after all we sleep in the same bed, we're always kissing and hugging and being intimate. So now we're both sneezing, coughing and feeling sniffly and ill. Not so ill that we can't get up and walk around, but ill enough to feel tired all the time.

I'm not fond of being ill; no one is really, unless you happen to be a Munchausen's Syndrome sufferer in which case you'll enjoy the attention (Please note I am not intentionally making light of the impact of Munchausen's on a person I'm only using it as an example so no bashing my head in please )

Anyway, Julie and I put all the christmas decorations up and the house looks fabulous! It's so wonderful and sparkly and it did make me feel a little better ^_^

Hope ya'll enjoy this kickin' season!

OK I am officially stoked; it's finally December, my best month of the year!

For those of you who don't know my birthday is in December, I got together with my angel boyfriend Stephen in December and, naturally, Christmas and New Year are in December ^_^

So a lot of fun things happen this month and it brings me much happiness because I adore Winter; the snow, the cheesy songs, the sparkly tinsel and baubles, the general happy spirit that flows throughout my body - it's all so beautiful.

I do understand that not all people like this holiday, and I won't try to force anyone to like it the way I do, but I also don't want to get bashed for liking this particular season, so do me a solid and stay away from me if you're not as fond of Christmas as I am.

Tis the season when I get a bit out of hand - a little patience goes a long way :3
