Well the story Aaranathil the Ankh has come to a close and I hope everyone enjoyed it! Now I would love some proof reading from everyone to catch my mistakes since Im so close to the story fresh eyes are always good! You know to make sure Rocky keeps her accent, or Vaye doesnt use contractions in his speech... and of course spelling, lets face it I suck at spelling.

Alright, I've gotten a little out of the spirit with special arts for holiday seasons. Seeing as how Halloween is the coolest of all holidays (being a cosplayer and all) I leave it up to my watchers to come up with a costume pair for Laurel and Raya! There will be a delay in the next page of Aaranathil manga, which will be uploaded after my return trip from NDK Colorado this weekend. So its still anyone's guess on what happens next, and I wanted to upload the next page before I left, but I just couldnt get it done in time. 01. What was your first cosplay?
Cloud Strife in 1998, made of tinfoil and paper mache... yup but back in those days most cosplay was pretty bad haha

02. Did someone get you into cosplay? Or on your own?
Well, it was my senior year of high school and I was in the anime club, they announced we could get a group discount for Fanime 98 and I thought what the heck, why not dress up? I think there were only a few dozen in constime, wow have times changed.

03. What is your favorite cosplay?
Probably Dante, hes pretty bad ass and Im most proud of it, I love my Vash too but that hair takes too long to style

04. Which is your least favorite?
For some reason I did Testament from Guilty Gear... I found out why only girls wear that costume...

5. At conventions, do people compliment you on your cosplays?
Oh yeah, all the time

I only average like 1-2 a year, so after 11 years Ive got like 20

Hello all I'm back from this year's AX, and I must admit I had a lot more fun then last year. After moving to the LA convention center it put a bad taste in my mouth from last year, but I would saw this made up for it. For those who didnt know I was one of the cosplay events judges, namely the masquerade so I spent 75% of my time working but it was fun to check out people's costumes and meet new faces.
To anyone who might remember me as a judge, feel free to ask me about my (of my friend's) decisions on the awards. I would be glad to give pointers to any cosplayers that we had the pleasure of judging this year. I sure hope I can get involved again next year. I hope to see a lot of my friends at conventions very soon!

The Pros-------
-Parking $84, Badge $60, Food $50... paying none of that because of being on staff, priceless!
-My own drawing on my staff badge
-Meeting new people, and hanging out with those that I managed to see at the con
-Showing off Rebellion
-Walking around on Sunday ^_^
-Fitting all costumes into one large tub!

The Cons-------
-The con is so big and everything is so spread out ;_;
-Not seeing like half of my friends
-That long car ride... ug, but at least I didnt drive alone
-Dealing with the stupid Westin screwing things up 2 years in a row, I hate that hotel
-Not having a lot of time to enjoy the con but that was expected so its not such a biggy
-Con closing at midnight, wtf?

Well getting 100% of the achievements on this game for the xbox isnt too difficult just time consuming... but I would say that this is the easiest of the RE series as far as getting all the content. The story mode is cool because you can now play with a friend through this rather short (and clone of RE4 storyline) game, but it was rather fun. If anything paying 60 bucks was way too much but hey you sacrifice content for graphics with video games these days.

If anything I would say rent the game unless you want to pay the extra 5 dollars to get the multiplayer add on which in my opinion sucked. The control system is cool for fighting zombies but when you think about having to stop and aim (or lack of aiming) to damage players in the multiplayer modes is just retarded. The most difficult aspect of the versus mode is the TEAM feature in which you are most likely paired up with a dumbass that doesnt understand the game modes and just attacks other players... then dies while I go for the zombie combos to try and win for those final 4 achievements.

Honestly... why would you pick up more time when we are winning just to get your ass killed and lose at the final seconds!

Anyways the online mode (where you do kill the other players for points) is pretty damn simple, whoever has the biggest gun always wins. There are no tactics involved since you have to stand still to shoot or knife, and aiming is rather pointless it all comes down to what weapon you have and I think thats rather silly. Overall I did have fun playing through the story once but after that the 6 more times I had to beat the game for enough cash to buy all the weapon upgrades was just so tedious I kinda lost interest.

Well I just purchased Dead Space for 60 bucks, and although I was happy with the game, in 2 days time I got 47 out of 48 achievements... I have to play again on the 'impossible mode' to get that last one. 2 days... I should have rented it lol. Its a good game although as hyped up as the commercials were the game wasn't very scary at all, I did get half startled at one part of the game, but as a whole I guess its almost a Doom 3 ripoff (down to the storyline and the crap everywhere in the ship), and Im really desensitized playing games like that.... hell Im ready to fight off hundreds of aliens in real life!

I will give it 7.5 out of 10 because they game looked great, the lighting was kind of neat, playing in the dark was fun, the controls take a bit getting used to but once learned its OK, and the fact it didnt scare me was *meh*, but then again the only game that ever got a rise out of me was the F.E.A.R. series, and thats cause I hate ghosts ;_;

Well, after that rather successful Orange Box review, I think I'm going to start Reed's gamer reviews for all the new cool stuff that comes out, cause you know I have to pick it up the day of it's release! Assassin's Creed for the Xbox360, at first glance (Ive only played it for about 5 hours) its pretty interesting, the story its fairly original, being the fact that none of the reviews or videos I saw pre-paired me fore the fact that you aren't really the cloaked assassin Altair, you are dreaming about him. Now original isn't always good, because I thought it was corny you start off as a random bartender in the near future, who is basically a prisoner in some lab, because he is the decedent of Altair. So hooked up to this machine that can read your mind, you have to play back memories until they find some unknown secret locked away in your head.

Weird.

But on the plus note, if you can afford the rather hefty 70$ price tag for the collector's edition, or at least 60$ for the core game, you can experience stunningly beautiful and realistic game play. This is the first game Ive seen that goes this far of the extreme oh character and camera interaction. Everything you do brings or avoids attention from people, even to the point of jogging around town makes guards place their hands on their sword hilts like you are crazy... or something. Blurring effects are in place a lot in the game, making it look extremely unique to any other game Ive played, totally beautiful. And speaking of beautiful, nothing could be more so then these cities... the freedom you get to run, and clime is unsurpassed by any other I've played. Instead of playing in a city assumed to be miles long, you actually are running around cities a mile long. My legs are getting tired just watching the game play!

Ok, its been a while since Ive thrown a contest, but now here it is again! Another one! And this time I'm opening it up to any sort of media you can craft! Contest will be open till October 15th

> ENTRY TYPES ACCEPTED! <
-Single Illustration or
-Comic Story Board (4-8 pannels) or
-3D modeled pic or
-Written Fiction (3-5 pages)

This time all submissions will be compaired against eachother with a combination of originality/overall scene/and skill level of course

> THE RULES! <
-Pick one (or more) of my FEMALE characters (be it angel or devil) and place them in a comical or serious peril or similar situation, subject as a damsel in distress must be obvious
-Subject should contain a bondage type situation but nothing beyond anything you see in my gallery, this includes but is not limited to:
No Gore
No Vore
No Nudity or topless (although bikinis and what not are ok)
No wierd things like Inflation >_<
-Your original characters may be in the work, as long as one of my girls is the main focus as the damsel in distress
-Feel free to dress them up in thier original outfit, maid uniform, harem costume or whatever you have in mind for them XD!
-Contest is open to anyone and there is no limit on submissions but only one winner per person!
-I love gifts/art trades in the past but please, I would like to see new material for the contest ^_^;
-Character refrences can be found in my gallery or on Heavensystem.com!

Well I'd just like to share a little Frequent Asked Questions with you all, not that I dont enjoy hearing myself talk when I answer notes and such, but just a general set of answers I have to questions I've heard before! Feel free to read it, it might be interesting!

Hey, I see your icon is a girl, but your a guy right?
-Yes I'm a guy

Where do you get your insperation to design outfits?
-Alot of different places, usually anime or video games, and sometimes magazines or stores I pass by at the mall... just about anywhere that I find anything to my likeing

Would you ever date one of your characters?
-Well ^_^; maybe if they were real, I can say that I put some of the things I'm into, into every character

Do you ever think your characters are real?
-Um...... no

Why high heels? Do you hate women or something?
-No! It's just a personal preference, I think they are very attractive and I like the way sound ^_^;;;

And why bondage?
-Well thats a tought question, I guess cause its hot.

Have you ever had your work professionally published?
-Not yet, I do have copywrites on my characters and I'm seeking publication, but for right now they are just for deviantart and my home site [link]

Who is your favorite of your characters?
-I'd say its a tie between Laurel and Poldara, they are both so fun!

What about in anime?
-Probably Vash from TRIGUN, Cloud from FF7, or Ashton Anchors from Star Ocean 2

Whats your favorite video game?
-FF7 baby!

I really like your characters, can I draw fan art?
-Of course you can! Its very flattering to get gifts especially of my own characters Just make sure you dont claim the character as your own >_< that makes me mad

Can I use your lineart to practice my coloring?
-Sure, I would love to see it when your done

I belong to _________.com where I can upload images, mind if I use your art?
-Yes, but only if the credit comes back to me wither to the DA website or my own website

How did you learn to draw like this?
-Practice, and lots of it! Try other's styles at first like artists you like, and then develop a style of your own down the road, I started out by tracing Xmen and Clamp pictures until I was good enough to come up with my own feel.

What programs do you use?
-Well I do all my drawings on 11x14 paper first, pencils then inks, then I scan it to Photoshop 6.0 to do all my coloring, 90% of my work is done with the airbrush tool just adjusting the pressure and using my art tablet

Did you come up with most of these questions myself?
-Yes ;_;

As you all know the deadline is hit and the contest is officially over! Ok guys, because everyone else is doing it, I thought I would throw one! A CONTEST!!!! dun dun duhnnnnn!!!

Thats right now you have the chance to impress my with your artistic skills and draw one (or more) of my characters for the first annual Heavensystem fanart contest!!!!
