This year I've decided to carry on last years resolution of trying to improve myself artistically.  Mainly becuase I'm really pleased with my progress last year & it's the only resolution that I've actually ever kept :P .  I think realistic goals is the key to sucess here.  Rather that reaching for an urealistic vision of what my art should be I'm going try focus on one thing at a time to improve & work on a style that is me - not anyone else, no matter how much I admire them.  So hopefully it'll be another good year.

I've been off Da for a while thanks to flu (grumble) & couldn't believe the amount of messages in my inbox. I am seriously not used to this lol! So a big thank all of you who have commented & faved Octini, and an even bigger thanks to those who suggested it for a DD!  It's very much apreciated :)

Anyway enough gushing, I have 3 weeks worth of no art to catch up on.  I wonder if I still know how to use a pencil?  Bloody flu.  Take my advice, never work in an office - it's a sodding breading ground for flu :(

Well it's been 4-5 months (I think) since I started photoshopping & things are starting to pick up. I'd also like to ask y'all a question;

I like to practice a few styles of art from the more painterly piece to cartoony mangaish pics (more of which will be added later - not enough time in the week!) as well as abstracty stuff.

I was wondering if this is a good idea or whether i should concentrate on one particular style?
