Tonight I come to you with some exciting (and secret) news.  I am working on a new comic book!  Its a pretty ambitious project but I am excited for it.  It'll be a one shot issue and thus a rather LARGE issue.  There isn't much that I will say about it now but I can tell you the working title is "The Black Flame".  It takes place in our world and during our time (very different from Artemis).  From there you'll just have to read on.

So the company I have been working for as their Creative Director is up for sale.  My business partner and I are actually going to buy it.  In fact, we are in the last stages of the purchase.  (yay, I own my own business!).  Any way we are rebranding ourselves and I needed to make the website.  I have done three ideas to choose from but I don't know which is best.  I need your help, can you guys please look at the three site designs below and tell me which is your favorite?  Keep in mind our logo isn't done, this is just the site comp.  THANKS SO MUCH!

Talk about busy.  I have been in MIA for a while.  I had to move, I launched a new company division at my job, and I made a sweet new website.  There have been some massive difficulties and demands on my time for just about all the things that has gone on.  All I can say is I'm sorry I've been missing.

I am looking to further my artistic abilities by learning to draw more action pieces.  One of the styles that I want to work hard on is the close in distorted perspective.  Its where a part of the body is so close to the camera that the proportions of the body change.  Think about it like looking through a magnifying glass or fish eye. The normal rules of body proportion don't apply and I am curious about how to go about drawing like that.  Here is a great example of what I am talking about from one of my favorite artists Omar Dogan.
