Oh my god! I'm so happy! ok, so I met him Tuesday, becuase Monday he went to visit his mother, but the next day me and my friend were chilling until he came and I was so nervous! I was also afriad to ask him questions at first becuase he was dealing with his children (Who are so cute by the way! Little kids are always so cute!) But after he got them settled I asked him how he got a job at Dinsey. Then things ot better from there. We talked about good animation books and how I should practice it.Then my friend's mom invited me out to dinner with them, so me and my friend rode with him and his wife and his youngest son to TGI Fridays. At the table he looked though my sketch book and gave me hints and tips aboutwhat they look for and wat I need for college. Then before we left he gave me his card and told me to e-mail him whenever I have a question. I'm so excited! I'm gonna do a bunch of stuff to help me and I'm praying I get a job with Disney.

Anyway, trades! They are CLOSED again until I finish my new ones. I have swim practice from 8 am until 2 pm everyday then I'm home. I usually eat and take a nap but lately with school coming up soon I need to work on homework and getting ready so I can't promise the trades will be done right away.

Also, I have a screen name! I have gottn a few notes of people asking or wanting me to talk to them, AIM is easiest for me, so please if you have one and you want to talk to me use that. It's iSpazzel32!

"Hey Mrs. R!" I shouted running out to great my friend's mother. "How has your summer been?" You see my friend and her sister are at camp so she has been kid free for about a month. "Pretty good, oh by the way Shanna, what are you doing next monday? After Varisty that is?" "Umm, nothing at all why?" "Well, after swim why don't I pick you up and you come home with me, you can meet John, he and my sister are coming with the kids for a few days." Heart stops. Not breathing. Holy shit.

John Ripa. Middle aged man, lives in Californa, has a wife and three kids. His job? Dinsey Animator.

Movies? Oh yea. Drew Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet, you know, the one :icondolphy: loves. Pocahontas, Quazzimoto, Rafiki, Bowler Hat Guy and Rex.

My biggest idol. I'll admit, I love Phelps, and Shawn White, a snowboarder, I look up to them. John Ripa? My idol. I've dreamed of meeting him. When my friend told me she was related I didn't believe her. But they are. I have drawings from him in frames in my room. No one is allowed near them. I have a folder that has 2 letters he wrote me from when my friend saw him in CA. They are locked in a drawer, no one has the key but me.

Count down until I meet him from 8/12/08 3:48 is 5 days 18 hours and 35 mintues.

Remember this? I'm re-summiting it for anyone who wants to do this also. I know I have only a few done, but it's really fun to do animals from all over.

Challenge: All over the world, there a millions of types of animals. Most animals look the same, but come from different places and have different life styles. When drawing we seem to pick about 2-5 animals we like, and just draw them over and over again. This challenge is to draw the animals listed below from all over the world. Don’t worry, they are all real animals and there are no two alike, and just becuase you have never heard of it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Ok, there is one thing about DevinatART that pisses me off, well, no two things, one be art thief but the other is People who draw GARBAGE and get more page views and recognition than those who put time and effort into their work and get nothing!

Honestly, people that draw something that looks like I could draw it with my foot and they get page views, favorites and comments, for CRAP! It’s only promoting them to draw more crap!!

Ok, I've been home for 7 whole days, and that's given me a TON of time to go through people's art, looking and reading comments, and I can't tell you how incredibly STUPID and naive and rude people can be. ESPECIALLY on people's gallery and pictures with 100,000+ page views or 500+ watches, basically, the people who a lot of people know. I see the same comments all the time.
