$7.50 an hour, they're calling me after they get the drug test results. XD The interview was at 2, it lasted till 2:10. I then waited outside, then ten minutes later they said they were giving me a job offer. Just like that! This was the first interview, too. I couldn't freaking believe it, I'm in a pretty freakin' good mood now XD

Hopefully this means fewer restrictions, we'll see.

Not much luck on the job hunt, I've had two interviews but neither of them resulted in me getting a job. I think the hunt is winding down, because nobody really wants to hire me for two months or so only to have me leave right after. I can understand that, I suppose.

Not much else going on here, playing the new Mario & Luigi game on my brother's DS. That game is awesome. XD

We both wish it could've lasted longer, but at least we got to see each other. In other news, I go back to UNC next Friday I believe, I'm just wanting to get back to having freedom. My sister moves in to her dorm on Saturday and I have to help move her in, should be a blast. XD Class schedules are okay, got classes at 9, 11, and 1 on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays. Then I have classes at 11 and 12:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I'm done by 2 every day, not too bad.

Oh right, went to the dentist today, found out that I have to get my wisdom teeth out soon. Looooooooovely. @_@

Got a break in vacations for now, heading to Chicago on the 29th, I think. Something I've really forgotten to mention (well, it's only been confirmed recently anyhow) is that while I go to Chicago, I'm taking a trip FROM Chicago to somewhere else. Flying on the 31st to Toronto. That's right, the trip I was supposed to take in March has finally officially been rescheduled. Much fun shall be had indeed. XD Plane tickets are bought and everything so it's confirmed.

Gonna be there till August 4th, then I'm in Illinois through the 9th or so. I head back to school right around the 20th, I think. So yeah, a little less than three weeks at home, then I'm gonna be busy for the rest of the summer. Like I'm not busy already anyhow.

The house we're going to kinda sucks, to be frank. We have 20 people, to fit into 8 bedrooms. Not bad at first sight, right? WRONG. My parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles all get their own bedrooms. That's five rooms out of 8 taken up. That leaves three bedrooms for the kids. THERE'S FREAKING ELEVEN OF US. Eleven kids trying to cram into three bedrooms... fun times. I hope I manage to pull off my own room, like I somehow did last year...

At least the house has a ping-pong table. Random table tennis matches can be interesting. XD

There's cable there, thankfully. There's also wi-fi... well, stolen wi-fi. <.< >.> The Internet there is really slow. But I should manage to get online at some point briefly every day. If you see me on MSN, consider yourself lucky, I won't be there very much at all (I'm not bringing my computer, I'll be using someone else's). I'll be poking through all the other sites I go to as well, on a slow connection. Seriously slow. Like, 8-minute-video-takes-40-minutes-to-load slow. So if I don't respond or suddenly die, don't be surprised.

TL;DR: I'm leaving for the beach tomorrow, won't be back till the 28th.

Lessee here, Saturday is my sister's high school graduation. We've got relatives coming in as early as tomorrow so I'm gonna be around even LESS than I have been lately. Probably only come online in the evenings once things settle down. Then we have next week to relax and prepare for our annual beach trip to Florida. Starting on the 21st, I'm not gonna be here for a week. I managed last year to get on Ebuddy for a bit every day, hopefully I can manage that again. It's the same house so I know there's available wi-fi. It's a vacation, but it's gonna be exhausting living with 20 other people for a whole week. XD At least the house is huge.

Still searching for a job too, really haven't made much progress on that front, I'm afraid. I essentially get this week off from job hunting though since it's been so busy.

Anyway, that's my random ramblings of the day. Gonna go take a nap now. See you guys around!

So it's basically come to this: I have to go out two or three times a week for hours at a time applying to tons of places. Like today for example, I was out for almost four hours, applied to nine places. That brings the total to... I dunno, at the VERY least 25 in the last two weeks? It's some ridiculously high number that I don't feel like remembering at the moment.

But yeah, it doesn't help that my parents keep DRILLING into my skull that I have to go out and get a job. Like I don't know that already. I'm well aware that I need a job... heck, I'm 19 and haven't even had one yet. It's been that bad. I really thought stress was gonna end after I finished exams a few weeks back, but no, it's gotten even WORSE. Lovely. I'm getting close to the breaking point, I need somebody to hire me so I can get this monkey off my back. It's driving me absolutely INSANE.



Also, yeah, don't expect the show back anytime soon. My summer's not gonna be settling down in the near and not-so-near future. What with the job hunt, and then the annual, week-long family beach trip at the end of June. Plus my brother's graduating elementary school, then my sister's graduating high school. When my sister graduates, we're having a huge party, relatives are coming from Florida and Chicago and wherever else they live to see her graduate like they did for me last year.

Don't expect too much of me for the coming weeks, not gonna be around too much. I know this is the first update in, like, four weeks on this journal, but it's not gonna get any more frequent.

Well, I've gotten that venting out of my system. Now to relax... *collapses on bed*

1) Spring semester is almost over. FINALLY. It's taken a long time to get to this point, and I'm ready to unwind for a few months. Heading home next Thursday, and then I'm home from then until late August (with a couple random summer trips thrown in too). I'm SO ready to go home, I need a vacation. A looooooong vacation.

2) Exams are currently in progress. Currently have Spanish and Programming done. Got a B in English (no exam), dunno what I got in Spanish, and in all likelihood I have a C in Programming. Have Econ on Monday and Physics on Wednesday. Physics is gonna suck but Econ should be good. Physics has been my hardest class this semester by far, so we'll see.

3) Regarding the show, it's still on hiatus at the moment, even with the fact that David is back and all that, at least until I finish exams and get settled back down at home. THEN it's a matter of getting the drive to do it. So we'll see, look out for updates on this front as time goes on.

So yeah, that's about all on my end. Back to studying I go now. XD

1. With all the time I spend online, this should come as no surprise: I'm looking for a degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
2. I've been out of the country exactly once, to Mexico. And I never even saw the ocean. That was also the only time I've ever been on a plane.
3. Even with how lazy I am, I've actually received A/B grades for most of my life. College is a different story, I'm more of a B/C student here.
4, I run a podcast but I'm actually a lousy public speaker. Not to mention presentations make me nervous.
5. Unlike nearly everyone I know online, I actually follow sports. Especially UNC-related, and the Carolina Panthers. I actually played basketball for five years, too.
6. The building I live in at UNC is 50 years old. The elevators were first tested in 1962, and one breaks at least every other week. It once took me two whole minutes to go up ONE floor in them.
7. I absolutely love snow. It's incredibly rare down south, I see it maybe once a year. I've seen more than three inches in North Carolina ONCE in the last ten years. I see plenty when I go to Chicago, though.
8. I have the same birthday as Rick Astley. Seriously.

Now that I've done that, hello everyone. I'm sitting in a lecture hall on campus while semi-watching a movie for Spanish. I've been busy with work, and still am. Nothing terrible for classes yet, but if any class kills me, it'll be Physics. No doubt in my mind. The class, PLUS the lab, will probably murder me eventually. Besides that class, it's not too bad. Not even Spanish, much to my never-ending surprise. English actually is easy, Programming and Econ are both easy AND boring. XD

In other personal news, I've got my passport all taken care of, should be getting that within three weeks. My trip up north to see Jamie is in four weeks, and all I've got left to do is get flights reserved. It's gonna be a whole bunch of fun when it happens.

SCRPC has had a long break between episodes, it'll have been nearly a month since our last proper one once we record Sunday. We've had an INSANE number of downloads for #206, and we're still not sure exactly why. We consider 30 downloads good. We have DOUBLE that. Seriously. Look for the next episode this coming Sunday, the 15th.

Anyway, even in college, school still sucks. Every single day of the week (with the exception of Thursday, only one class) I have at least four hours of class. As for each class so far: Spanish is alright so far, much to my amazement. Economics is easy but INCREDIBLY boring. All we're doing in Programming is basic HTML right now, something I learned OVER TWO YEARS AGO. Physics is just blah, but the professor has probably the best name ever. His last name is Superfine. And that's not even a joke. XD English hasn't really gotten started yet, but the professor's an awesome guy. So we'll see.

The snow we had last week was really awesome. I essentially took Tuesday off even before my classes were announced as canceled. XD And I didn't have to go to Spanish on Wednesday either. 4-day weekends are awesome.

SCRPC had Episode 206 released last week everywhere, but it took till the weekend to get it up on here. XD The next episode will be in early-to-mid February, not sure when exactly. Gotta work around my birthday (the 6th, SEND ME PRESENTS *SHOT*) and homework and all that.

And now for the huge news. Long story short, I'm going to Toronto to see Jamie in the second week of March! Man, am I excited about THAT. XD Received the news yesterday and we both essentially flipped. XD So yeah, that's gonna be incredibly awesome.

So yeah, I has Playstation 2 and Unleashed, which I have played a LOT of over the last few days. I flew through most of the game, then, like a lot of other people, I hit a wall at Eggmanland. I HATE THAT PLACE SO MUCH >:CCC

Anyway, what to say? I've had an absolutely awesome vacation, especially the last five days. ;D I head home tomorrow... for some reason. What kind of logic is it when you have a 13-hour drive the day AFTER New Year's Eve? Doesn't make sense to me, but oh well. XD So yeah, won't be here much tomorrow, but afterwards, I'm home through around the 10th or so. It'll be nice to be home for a bit before I have to head back to school.

I'm ready to get my Playstation 2 tomorrow night, and then go buy Unleashed when I go to the mall with on Saturday. However, I'm not gonna play them till I head off to the dorm... XD We'll see if I can survive long enough to do so.

Also, the SCRPC New Year's Special should be up either tomorrow or Friday, so watch out for that. But you COULD go over to EN ([link]) or E-On ([link]) to listen. Up to you. XD

ANYWAY. First off is Christmas. Got up at 7 AM yesterday to get a shirt, some pajamas, a Panthers jersey, candy, an Itunes card, and the big prize: the Metal Gear Solid Essentials Collection. I didn't get the PS2 yet, I'll get that when I go home next Wednesday (New Year's Eve). So that's pretty awesome. Got the Simpsons Movie on DVD today, along with assorted gifts that I got last night, including cash, a shirt, a Simpsons day-by-day calendar, and other things I can't remember.

All the snow is melting as it's gotten way above freezing. Oh well, I got my white Christmas, so I can't really complain. Tomorrow we're supposed to get a lot of rain, on top of the quickly melting snow, so they're saying there's a good chance of flooding! Oh how fun. XD

Last but most definitely not least, I CAN HAS GIRLFRIEND. X3 I've actually liked her for a while now, and I finally gathered up the courage to ask her out (With some help... looking at you, David. XD Thanks, man.), and she agreed! That pretty much made my year. X3 She can be found at this profile: Go say hi to her. ;D

The weather here is absolutely perfect for Christmas! It's been snowing for most of the last three days, on top of the three inches that was already on the ground when we got here. So when it's all said and done, there is gonna be about 6-8 inches on the ground. We've been using the snow to our advantage, as I've been sledding twice in the last three days. The snow does have it's low points, especially when it comes to travel. It made a 30-minute trip into an 80-minute one.

I already know one thing I'm getting, and that thing is a Playstation 2, because I saw the Metal Gear Solid Collection for PS2 sitting out the day before we came up here. Planning to buy Unleashed after I get back home, and then Brad is sending Persona 3 my way as well. So I'll have plenty of games to play when I head back to the dorm in mid-January. Who knows what else I'll be getting, but it'll be a lot. I'll have presents to open tonight, tomorrow morning, tomorrow evening, and then when I get home.

I'm heading home on New Year's Eve, so December 31 is gonna be a very long day for me. Getting up around 5 AM, getting home around 7 PM, and then staying up for the New Year. Speaking of New Year's, there should be an SCRPC recorded and released on January 1 as well. Naturally though, podcasting is the last thing on my mind right now.

SCRPC is chugging along. If you already read the new journal over at 's profile, you should know this already, but here it is again. We're through Episode 4 of the 2nd season, and despite the low number of downloads, we're still pressing ahead. All of the episodes are now on here, by the way, in case you missed the last journal.

Oh, how I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving next week, I'll be heading to Florida Wednesday-Sunday of next week. A break is what I need right now, we haven't had one in a while. Of course, as soon as break's over, it's crunch time. Exams start just 5 days after we get back. But right after that, on December 12th, we get a month off for Christmas and New Year's, then come back and start our new classes.

It's gotten really cold around here lately, even cold enough to see a brief snow shower yesterday. Didn't expect it, but 'twas cool to see.

Anyway, that's about it, this was a pretty long journal for me... gonna take a break from typing now. XD

Concerning classes, English is going well but I have a huge speech in two weeks or so. 10 minutes long. How fuuuuuuuuun. Geography is meh. Calculus is UGH. My seminar is easy but very boring. Drama is alright, kinda boring but I'm doing alright in there. Eight page paper in there due on the 22nd! And last but not least is Outdoor Sports, which I always follow with a traditional Blue Raspberry Icee.

I have Fall Break next week and will be going home for the first time since I left. Sucks that it's only Thursday and Friday, but hey, it's days off! I plan on bringing the N64 up here along with Ocarina of Time, which I've been itching to play since David was playing it last month.

SCRPC is rolling along, we've got two episodes of the second season done, with the third one due about two weeks from Saturday.

Outside of class, I'm having a great time. The dorm is actually set up nicely, living the life with two TVs (one for TV, one for the 360) and AC. The atmosphere here is great and the experience is enjoyable. It's so different than living away from parents. Gotta get your own food and do your homework without being nagged to get off the computer, plus doing your own laundry and cleaning. XD It's been a big transition for sure but I think I'll manage.

I've been making new friends, as well as seeing some old ones, including one I hadn't seen for over four years! That was pretty awesome. Football season starts next week, and that's a big deal here. Oh, and the best part is that all sporting events are free for students! How awesome is that?

Outside of college and on Internet Land, SCRPC is returning in two weeks! Gonna be interesting with me living on campus and all but we'll get it done.

Anyway, hi everyone. I'm having a good time in Chicago, the wedding and reception yesterday went smoothly (well, as smoothly as a 250-person reception can go) and I've got just today left up north. The full 13 or 14 hour return trip's tomorrow, then I've got two exams on Tuesday.

Then on Thursday, I'm heading BACK out for two more days for orientation at UNC. I'm moving into my dorm there in the middle of August. Yes, it's early, but I am bringing home a nice new laptop. FINALLY.

And THEN, on the 14th, I've got my graduation day. Everyone's gonna be in town to watch me walk across a stage and receive a rolled up piece of paper. XD Seriously though, I'm getting out of high school. FINALLY.
