But I'm going to be gone a week- we're seeing my brother off to college- and I thought I'd let you know that I was going to be gone. I don't know if I'm going to have computer access over there, and this would actually be a legitimate excuse for inactivity. The week I'm gone starts tomorrow. Just FYI.

Also, on the house updates, we got the rest of our furniture back in on May 19th (which also happens to be my brother's b-day, during which he also had his wisdom teeth taken out. Ouch, but it was the earliest date they could get, so he took it; we weren't trying to torture him or anything.). So, there's still a bunch of boxes, a ton of dust, and stuff everywhere. xD I don't know if it looks like we're moving back in or (heavenforbid) moving back out. I'm glad it's moving back in.

Also, for those of you who've read this far... I'm thinking of doing a kiriban for 5,000 pageviews! Whoever catches it, I'll dedicate it to them! Good luck!

House repair status...

We had a really bad contractor. It was just bad job after bad job and no shows for a LONG time. Finally, we got a good painter, and what was taking three weeks to do the interior took two days. -.-; So, yeah, we're happy things are finally moving forward and we're no longer dealing with the contractor. The outside of the house needs to be painted (same new awesome person who knows what his trade is), and then we should be able to have the tub moved back into Mom and Dad's bathroom (currently in the middle of what was their bedroom, lol), get the piping finished and new water heater and then it's the floors. After that... I think we'll be able to finally start moving back in.

We're anticipating sometime around Easter!!

Lol.

Anyone taking AP Exams? I am. ^^

And I still have no DS. T_T lol. But the insurance did agree to cover for it, so hopefully I can get it replaced sometime.

First off, thanks to all that have left favorites and watches and stuff!! They really mean a lot to me. I'm sorry I can't get back to everyone, nor look at all your stuff, but I still support you and I hope you'll forgive me in the meantime!

Also, the main reason I'm writing this is to tell you that I'm going to be on more sparingly than before (if that's even possible....).

I had a really unusual Christmas break. One of the highlights of it, my water heater breaking and flooding the house, is the cause of my half-hiatus. Yes, it did flood the house. We were at my grandma's house and we got a call from a neighbor saying water was coming out of our front walls. At present, the pack-out is being wrapped up (unusually long time, though) and I'm in an apartment. We have access to internet there, and I have my dad's laptop, but we have no scanner, so I will not be able to upload anything. Thus, you shall not be seeing anything from me for a while.

AND MY DS IS MISSING!!!! TT_TT

Sorry, random, but it disappeared during the pack-out. Yo quiero mi DS..... TT_TT

I'm sorry I haven't answered all the favorite notices, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone!! I apologize for not having responded, and I greatly appreciate your support. It wasn't from lack of thanks, trust me.

Plus- *looks fearfully at the 1003 deviations*- I also wanted to apologize for those of you that I haven't been able to look and comment on your deviations. As you could probably tell from that number, it's not intentional. I hope I'll be able to get to them, but if I can't, I pray you'll forgive me for this grievous offense and know that it wasn't from lack of interest. It uploads rather slow, and sometimes I get discouraged when I try to go through it, and then I'll tell myself to come to it later and then it just repeats itself. I feel that's a sorry excuse, since y'all are so supportive, and I am really sorry I can't give back to everyone as much. I hope you'll forgive me.

I'm still having trouble with the mood emoticon, but at least that fits my current mood. I'm having a slight difficulty holding onto all my ideas.

Well, I was just on YouTube, and the site had removed this Naruto AMV of "This is Halloween" that I REALLY x infinity loved, and so I'm doing the weeping-buckets-of-tears-for- eternity thing over here. TT_TT Apparently it had to do with a copyright claim. I feel really sad it got taken down. Maybe they can get permission to post it again... I pray....

Oh!! I feel so happy! I made the Regional Treble choir!! I think I got 18th chair as an Alto, I'm so happy. Whee! xD Lol, I'm so happy. (Shiney object: I got 17th last year!) I had tried out again for the District rounds of the All-State music this year, and I failed royally again like last year (though even more royally this time around), so I tried out for Treble this year again, and I made it again. So I'm happy I made one of the choirs! Now I get to see my friend Aly at the clinicianing!!! Yea!! I'm so happy!!!! xD

Um, school news/rants.... I'm taking my 9th week tests this week.

Except English. I finished that Friday-three essays for the test- and I'm hoping I did well. I think I do fiction and betaing a little better, and I think I do analyzing pretty well. I put my essay-ability-confidence lower than those. Yeah, I can think I can improve on that. Hopefully I did well either way. I REALLY don't want to do badly on that; I need to bring that grade up.

I'm taking my Chemistry exam tomorrow, and it's going to be a release AP test. We're not expected to be able to answer more than... 20 of the multiple choice, I think. I'm still hoping do a little more. Hopefully. xD I'll do my best either way. I'm really enjoying Chemistry this year. *waits for strange looks* Yes, I find Chemistry fun. Man, that class is awesome! xD lol

I have my Animation exam (written, I need to study, lol... I spent my Saturday at the Region Treble audition, and I think I forgot to take the study sheet with me... Oh well, I didn't think about it anyway while I was there... xD) on Tuesday. I was supposed to have English Wednesday, but that's already done with as I said. Then I have Choir Thursday, if we're getting one (I think the fall concert counted as that... I'm not sure...). Then I have Geometry on Friday.

I was about to go into a rant for that, but I feel like I was half supporting my view and half trying to show the other sides and veering off from the main point. -.-; I'll just leave it as, not to complain or try to get a pity party, but 'geometry frustrates me sometimes'.

Well, my timer just rang, so I'll post another journal later, hopefully. And I tried to change the mood, but for some reason the mood list changer... thing... isn't working. So I'm both content and bouncing-off-my-walls happy, if there's a mood emoticon for that. xD

One word description: GREEN. There are so many plants, and everything is so GREEN!!! It was amazing. The humidity's really high at times, though, so when it's hot, it's HOT. Make sure you pack water.

We got to see my cousins Johnny and Tracey! It was really awesome. It was fun hanging out with them. I miss 'em already...

We got a see several museums too. Majority Smithsonian. The Musuem of Natural History had a live butterfly exhibit. That was so awesome. The butterflies flew all around you, sometimes landing on you, but you couldn't touch them. If they landed on you would have to go to the attendant within the exhibit and she would gently get it off with a paintbrush. I did a few sketches of the butterflies. Man, that exhibit was so awesome... Oh, also, sometimes, when that musuem has special exhibits, like that one, you'll have to pay to enter it, but you don't have to pay on Tuesdays. It's free then. Needless to say, you know what day we went, lol. XD

And they also had this Insect Petting Zoo of sorts. I was like, "COOL!" and I was holding the walking stick (it was green and looked like a giant praying mantis and it's legs reminded me of a rose bush because of the thorns, and it crawled all over my arm), a caterpillar (huge green thing; I only got to hold it for a few seconds because the girl that was holding it previously was trying to give it back to the lady in charge) and a hissing cockroach. That was cool; it was crawling all over my hand. (My mom was all like, "This is the same girl that will see a roach at home and cry "Pest control!" XD My response was, "Well, those are, like, big, and they have wings, and this doesn't! And they come to you when you're like, 'Get away!'" My brother later added, "They're like kamikaze pilots!" Anyway, it was funny. ^_^)

We didn't get to see George Washington's house at Mount Vernon, but we got to see it from a distance. (And we saw a fox at that moment! It was so cool! ^_^) We also got to go through Arlington Cemetary and see Lee's house from a distance, too. We got to hear the Carillon Bells too!!! They're the bells that will chime at certain hours that were given to us from the Netherlands after WW2. They were really neat.

What else did we do...

We saw the Naval Academy! Man, that was awesome...

We also rode the Metro and drove around DC/ Alexandria, VA (that's where we were staying). And got lost during the trip on both accounts. XD Lol. The Metro was cool, though. I've never ridden on the Metro before.

Well, I gotta stop here. It was an awesome trip though, and thanks to all those that said a prayer for a safe trip, 'cause we had one. Also, on another note, on the way back, I fell asleep on the first flight before we even took off! XD (I was up to about 1 or 2 AM and then we had to get up at about 4:30 AM, I think, because we had the 7 AM flight. It's best to be there 2 hours before. Now you know why I feel asleep so fast.)

So, I'm back!

This is what will happen! (Whee, I'm so excited! I thought this was a cool idea. XD) You say you want to be either Akatsuki/ ninja, and then you give a description of how you want to look: weapons you'll have, costume design, how you look like, accessories, etc. If you want it put in the drawing, list it. Please make sure that the description is elaborate enough that I can picture what you're envisioning, not just "Akatsuki/Konoha ninja. Please draw me." -.-; For something like that, I'm not going to know how you wanted to look, and if I attempt you'll be at the mercy of my imagination. Also, if you want any special bloodlines or background, please let me know.

I don't think I'll have enough time at the moment to post up all the ones I have already done, but you should start seeing some of them soon.

Please let me know if you like this idea and if you'd like to participate. Single shots I'll do free of payment (though I'm always happy with art trades ), but a group shot I'll do art trade or you dedicate something to me, whether written (ff or DA) or drawn.

You see, we had a choice of what we were going to do for our World Geography project , and it was either a group skit, a 2-page essay, or help with a Park-Bench-and-Memorial project (other W.G. had been invited to participate as well). I chose to go help out. Our teacher, who shall be known as Mr.H., had us bring out all the stuff and then we split off into groups. One group went to go start preparing where the bench was going to go, the second creating the flower bed where there was going to be flowers growing in the shape of the initials of our school, and the last group was going to be planting flowers around trees throughout the grounds. I elected to go with the flower group. Then, when Mr. H was organizing our section-

Mr.H: We need someone to volunteer to be leader. Any volunteers?

Everyone: silence (*cricket, cricket*)

Mr.H: No volunteers? Anyone? (looks around) (meets my eye) Natalie! Thank you for volunteering!

Me: (...)

Lol, it was funny. So I wound up being leader. It didn't turn out too bad, though, and we were the first group finished. However, halfway through, here's where the title comes into play. The other groups, who had been digging in the muddy ground (there's been rain for the past few days) began a mud fight. I was among the lucky few that managed to stay clean and didn't participate. There were some that had fallen and got covered in mud and others that simply got covered during the war. XD It was funny.

Anyway, that's the gist of my Saturday morning. I think I got a good grade for that exam project, though.

So, I survived the Geography mud fight! XD

You know, at the end I was getting worried because it hadn't been working and we were losing 5 pts every time we had to restart our project (we had already done so twice), but then a portion got broken by someone horseplaying even after being warned (different class period, on our final day of presenting), so we were given the option to take the grade we had gotten thus far, since it wouldn't be able to function as it had before, and we were like, "Okay" and inside I was like, "Saved!" XD I didn't have to worry about not being able to complete the task, since it was ruled as being unable to! Lol, this has been an unusual experience for me, since we've been happy when it did work (which unfortunately hadn't been often) and then when it didn't, since that was when it had usually been set off accidentally. It's mindboggling... XD
