Most of you already know (because the majority of the people who read this are people I personally know in real life), but I would like to tell you all that I play World of Warcraft.

Now, let me blow your mind. Okay, you ready? I'm not a hardcore player. WOo! Isn't that weird?

Yeah, I do have a max level character but that's after 3 years of playing on the same character with several months of breaks. Oh, and I cheated.

Cheated? What? Yeah, by all means, Addons are cheats. If it's not in game, then it's cheating the game. It's like using a Gameshark. I used questhelper to speed up my leveling process.

Sucks that I did, though. Now that I've reached the top, I'm bored.

Which brings me to the reason I felt like talking about WoW.

I FUCKING HATE PLAVER VS. PLAYER IN MY RPGs. And the stat min/max shit is annoying, too.

When WoW was conceptualized, PvP wasn't even on the main drawing board. Of course dueling and faction fighting is inevitable, but it's the glory hogs and whiners that made Blizzard add Battlegrounds and Arena.

Every day or so I might get on, run around, then get off. Everyone at max level aren't even caring about the game itself. If the game didn't have the Warcraft logo on it, they wouldn't care.

I'm a loyalist from the original RTS game called Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. The game was fun, but most of all, the story was good. I loved the art, comical but with a serious tone. Blizzard really enjoyed making their games and weren't afraid to put in-jokes in them.

Click on an NPC too much and they might either insult you or go insane. It's awesome! Click on a sheep in WC2 too much, they yell out "bah ram ewe!"

Oh, in WC3, the sheep explode!!

So, the reason I chose WoW over something like Everquest or Final Fantasy Online was because I was excited to not only play as one of the heroic characters, but to also experience the lore with friends.

But douchebags have ruined the game either by being immature, competitive, or immature AND competitive. I hit 80 and wanted to do a regular, non-special dungeon that became available to me.

I asked for members to join, I got yelled at by several, and mocked by most. Why? Because I was 2 points too low in my armor class. What the fuck?

You fucking threw math in my fantasy!!!

Oh, and the only way to get my armor class up? PvP. Great. I really am conflicted here.

In order to do what I want in a game I pay for, I must do something that wasn't intended to be there in the first place. Why the fuck do I have to do all this unnecessary shit just to see a cut scene?

I know, all this and I could just quit. Which would end the frustration. But then I spent all the money on a game I quit on. I pre-ordered and payed for the new expansion because of the gameplay and lore it promised. But what do I get? Douchebags for game-mates.

I sigh.

Rants and raves and nothing gets done.

To be honest, I'm still happy I play it. It's just lonely. Questing is a blast, and the dungeons are great if you get a mature group.

Once I got to Northrend and started doing the high level quests, the experience just got better. The phase system is great.

I got to fight alongside the leader NPCs to kill another NPC that has been there since WC3. That was epic! After the fight, he never appeared again! No sprite respawn or anything.

Before Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK), after you kill an enemy as a quest, they normally respawn for the next player to quest. Now, if you are to kill them as the quest, they stay dead. Exhilarating.

I'm also excited for the instances to be had. Ulduar is supposed to explain why many things happen in the World...of Warcraft. Of course, that requires a raid and so far in my 3 years of playing, I'VE NEVER BEEN IN AN ACTUAL RAID BEFORE.

Okay, that's exaggerating. I was in 1 raid, and that's it.

Ranting again!

Heroics are stupid. Yeah, the loot is better, but what for? MORE PVP.

Oh, and no one ever does regular raids anymore. Only heroic dungeons, too. I can't do heroic. Wanna know why? No one will let me join their party. Something to do with me not doing the heroic before. Okay, how am I fucking supposed to do it, then? Also, it's the stat thing again. If I'm not equipped perfectly, they drop me. And then insult me.

Sometimes at the same time and then pester me days beyond. Seriously, it happened.

Yesterday, my cousin became married. I attended the wedding and met up with a lot of nostalgic people. I'm happy for Ed, my cousin. All these years he always was a "player", but once he met Elissa, he suddenly changed (for the better).

Which makes me proud of him. He is the closest to me in our entire extended family, being born in the same year. While in childhood we were the best of friends, we sort of grown apart around the high school years. Once we graduated, we never talked again, save for when we meet each other through family gatherings.

Still, I find him to be a good friend. Elissa is a great addition to the family. Ed has made a good choice. She will make him to be a better man, more so than she already has. They have a child now, born a couple of months before the marriage.

Oh, and I turned 23 yesterday.

If you like violence and the occasional anime, then I highly recommend Baccano!

Why? Because it's awesome. Granted, the story likes to jump around from different points a lot, so it could get a little confusing. Just to keep you in it, the story takes place on a train from several people's points of view.

The other parts not on the train is back story for the characters and how they got there.

Oh, and it's in spoken English, no subtitles.

When I read the reviews on it, people were dissing it because they felt like the voice actors sucked. I say bull poky to that. The story is set in 1930s mafia time. Their voices are meant to sound like it. Mobsters from New York and Chicago actually did have those accents. Guh...just ignore the critics and watch it for yourselves.

Warning! It likes to get super violent. Enjoy! Robert, give it a try. Rebecky, you too. And Scott, you could possibly get a kick out of it.

Brent Fairholm. I don't have a nickname, but I am an artificer. So...artificer could be my nickname.

2. Interesting... what's your current age?
About 32 or so.

3. Uh huh. What's your favorite food?
I'm a fan of barley soup and boar meat.

4. And your favorite drink?
I like most brews and wines. Some have taken my love for drinking to be similar to a dwarf's. I don't think so, but I do fair better than the average human in a competition, though.

5. Confession time! Who's your crush/lover?
My love is my work. All of my mechanical and homunculus creations I adore.

6. Aww! Have you two kissed yet?
Err...no. I may have hugged a couple of them, but that was more out of relief that they survived. Sad that they don't really feel much emotions, though. Except the homunculi. They understand me. But they're more like dogs than anything. Little dogs, with dragon-like wings. With humanoid hands.

7. Classic question! What's your favorite color?
The stereotypical answer would be metallic silver or something like that. Honestly? Green is nice. Wouldn't input it into my work, but when I see it, I enjoy it.

8. Who's your favorite author?
Oh, there's so many to name. My extensive library is only filled with the cream of the crop.

9. Now what's your biggest fear?
Being alone. I don't really remedy this by making friends, though. I require conversation; social interaction. Even someone like Bitey would be more preferable than the cold silence.

Ike, my older brother. He passed away defending the land. In his stead, I shall carry on his legacy. I also have a sister, too. All three of us enjoy our studies of magic.

My brother. Sappy, I know, but he is the one who inspired me to look into the magical arts. But where he excelled in the arcane and melee, I excelled in artificing and the basis of magic.

12. Ok, who is your worst enemy?
Quite frankly, I won't mind replacing Bitey. Not to say that he is no good in a fight, but his abrasive attitude and complete disregard to safety, his and others, just infuriate me. His lack of thought in any given situation, whether it be mundane or world shattering, endangers us all in the most grave of ways. He once charged into certain doom, entering an entire settlement of ghouls, declaring he would defeat them all. The fool! It is only by sheer dumb luck, I assume, that he even managed to escape the necropolis. Shame he lost his dog, though. Provided better conversation than his master.

13. What would you do if your hero and your worst enemy got together?
Ignoring that...

But yes, before Ike passed on, he and Bitey did fight side by side. I understand how they would get along, though. They both share a love for fighting.

14. Interesting... what would you do if you met your creator?
I would like to ask him an endless stream of questions about everything. Mostly on how he created me, and how other things are created.

15. Okay, I'll contact them right now. Done! Now, what do you want to be when you grow up?
I wish to be the greatest engineer in the land. I mean, I currently am, but that's only because this is a fledgling kingdom. I wish to be world renowned, rivaled only by the best. I want to see my creations used, for good, everywhere! I wish for apprentices to come from the farthest reaches of the world to come to me for the chance to learn!

16. What's your worst nightmare?
My brother's legacy to be unfulfilled. I mean, he died for this place. I am here to see it flourish. If I were to fail... I don't want to think of it.

Granted my sister could potentially do it, but it is not a burden I would want to be put upon her. That, and she is adventuring on her own. She must not diverge from her studies.

17. What's your lifelong dream?
Well, I guess I already told my dream, huh? Well, I would also like to have my sister to have a great life as well. Seeing as we're twins, we're always competing. I don't let others know this, but in addition to our brother's legacy, I am also helping the kingdom to better myself and to not fall behind my sister.

When I ran into this Snorlax in my way, I was vexed. I glared and said his name in a low, annoyed voice. So when I captured him, I named him after Seinfeld's rival, Newman. Diglett is named after the meerkat character, Timon. Because meerkats burrow. Yeah.

Abra is named after Baba Yaga, a witch-like character in Slavic folklore. Venonat is named after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles character Baxter Stockman.

Drowzee is named after Alfred Binet, a 19th century French psychologist and inventor of the first usable intelligence test. Voltorb is named after the Romanized Japanese name of Torpedo Girl from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Gyorai GÄru. She's a living bomb.

Mr. Mime came to me by trading in an Abra. They wouldn't let me give him a nickname, which slightly miffed me. What really infuriates me is the the nicknaming judge in Lavender Town. He says it's a perfectly wonderful awesome name and won't let me change it. The asshat. Onix is named after the Godzilla character, Baragon.

Hitmonlee is named after Bruce Lee! The master of all! The Ditto is named after a professional mime, Nola Rae.

Cubone is named after the fictional Pippi Longstocking, an orpan. Gastly is named after the Danny Phantom villain, Skulker.

Flareon(Eevee when I name him) is named after Seamus, the dog named in the Pink Floyd song of the same name. Seaking is named after Don King. Because of the king part. *glare* And its eccentricity.

Well, crap. I've decided to start playing Pokemon. Gah. Suckered me in, didn't you?!
I'm a fan of RPGs and it's an RPG through and through. Marketing be damned. I got into this because of the mechanics, not popularity. In fact, this is the first time I've ever mentioned this to anyone. And I've been playing for over a month.

Get ready for a lot of images.
First off, I made a male character, but my memory got mixed up and deleted him. So, to hell with conventional standards. I made a girl.

He just annoyed me with his high and mighty pose. So, Chosen One. Watch out for his tongue! Nyx is in reference to the Greek Goddess of Night.

I get to name this jerk? Sure! He freakin' challenges me the second I get my first Pokemon! Oh, and remember, I in fact have no prior knowledge of Pokemon. This is my first time through. With the exception of the premature save failure.

When I made Chosen One, I got a Charmander and named him after the Japanese form of Godzilla, Gojira. After that, my save file died. In the restart, I got a Squirtle instead. I named him after Godzilla's film rival, Gamera.

Pidgey is named after Odin's ravens, Huginn and Muninn. Rattata is named after Beakman's World character, Lester.

Mankey is named after the orangutan from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Beedrill is named after a Geonosian from Star Wars named Sun Fac. Very obscure, I know. Geonosians are those insect creatures from Episode 2 working in the droid factory. Sun Fac was an assassination target in one of the games.

Spearow is named after the roc, a mythical bird. They were known to eat elephants. One destroyed Sinbad the Sailor's ship. Caterpie is named after Godzilla's pal, Mothra.

Pikachu's name, Shocka, was random! Zubat is named after the Popokarimu, a bat-like monster boss in Resident Evil 5.

Paras is named after a definition of some crabs' scientific name, portly. Clefairy, he's a male fairy. He's Cosmo from the Fairy Odd Parents!

Geodude is named after the German word for stone, Stein. Nidoran(male) is a mammalian looking creature that is also poisonous. So, I thought about the platypus. In hindsight, platypuses are venomous, not poisonous. Platy means flat and pus means foot. Hence, Platyfuss, fuss being foot in German.

Nidoran(female) is basically the same. Anch means flat in a language I forgot, and ashi means foot in Japanese. Anchashi! Magikarp is named after the Leviathan.

Jigglypuff is named after Arthurian legend's Fairy Queen, Gloriana. Ekans is named after Lucy Liu. Mostly because of her roll as the Master Viper in Kung Fu Panda.

Oddish is named after Biollante. Biollante is one of Godzilla's many foes. It's basically my ever evolving world/story that won't really reach its true finish for a long time. Most likely? I'll make it into an ongoing comic.

Speaking of ever evolving, let's get a little more specific on my characters' weapons. I'll provide a link to Wikipedia on something that somehow resembles their weapon.

Ion's weapon is an axe. More specifically, a labrys. Heavily modified, but it's the closest I could find.

Jet's weapon is a scythe. The stylized style of a scythe, made only to fight. Not like these scythes.

Jack's weapon is a cestus. This guy's weapon changed the most, but I finally settled on this. Read the article to understand. Just remember, they are studded with short spikes as well.

Twick's weapon was originally a blade on his arm. Now, I finally decided on the tonfa. Makes things a lot better, I think.

Kal's weapon is a blunt beat stick. Think of it as a mace, or a bulawa.

Razi's weapon is a single-bladed sword. Somewhat like a katana or a dao.

Miyoko's weapon is a kusarigama with the weight replaced with another sickle.

Freja's weapon is a trident.

Cy's weapon is a staff similar to a gun or a bÅ.

Big news on anime! While I may be a big fan of Bleach, I realize that there is one anime/manga that I love more than all the rest. Fullmetal Alchemist.

If you don't want to be bothered by fandom, please skip to the next section of this journal.

For those of you who watched the anime only and only know about the anime, here's some news. While it's a given that the anime is based on its manga, the anime went away from the manga story extremely.

Characters were added and subtracted, the Elric brothers didn't help deliver Hughes's daughter, Dante never even existed, and Wrath, Pride, and Sloth were completely different characters.

There's even an entire storyline involving an Oriental style country they omitted!

That being said, there's good news. A new anime series is currently being made. I understand that the first few episodes are the same or similar to the original anime, but that's because it SLIGHTLY follows the manga in the beginning.

If you're willing to wait it out, the series will be a great watch.

True I haven't been doing much for a while, and nothing of really high caliber. My best ones (recently) are Experiments - October 20, 2008, and All Dressed Up - February 9, 2009.

Honestly? I have NOT been in a creative slump! I've been dreaming up stories and such. Y'all know my Indispensable Pandemonium deal-a-majig. Well, I've been dreaming up a new original story. I haven't really thought up a definite plot, but I have a main character and a general world in my head.

All that I'll talk about it is that the main character's name is Mr. Lichman. Not really much to go on, but you'll see more in the future. *hopefully*

My computer died. Well, not exactly, but it was so riddled with viruses that I'm getting it a full clean sweep. New, fresh start.

Well, I've decided to become more and more dedicated to my webcomic.

What I love about SmackJeeves is it's submission system. You post it, but you can choose the date and time TO THE MINUTE when the comic goes out online.

Which means that I can keep neglecting my comics like I've always been, but no one will know!

How's that? Usually when I get back into the comics, I make several at once and post them within minutes of each other.

Now, I realize that I could set up when they go out, so if I forget to do the comic, the new one still comes out like clockwork!

No one will be the wiser!!

So! My posted schedule will be at 12:30 a.m. I haven't picked which days, but maybe Monday through Friday schedule.

Watching lots of anime and anime-like things lately.

Not in order, but I say as they come to mind.

Watching Ghost in the Shell. All I gotta say is...me like. I mean, the series is great, but this particular scene is great. Three purple haired women in skin tight outfits fighting all out. Two of them in latex that shows off EVERYTHING. One in black, the other in red. I just want a reason to say camel toe.

Next anime, Naruto. You know, I approached the show with a lot of skepticism. I mean, I actually didn't like it before I watched it. Now, I'm a pretty good fan, but I'm no Narutard or whatever they call those big time fanatics.

What I'm a big time fanatic of, though, is Black Lagoon. It's my overall favorite series, of all time.

Next, Bleach. Watching it again after a while reminded me why I like it. It just had a Jason Vorhees moment. I'm not going to describe it, let's just say that there's no hiding behind a wall.

Lastly, Avatar. Though, not an anime, it's still something I've been watching. I've approached it with as much skepticism as Naruto. Now that I've seen the entire first season in a marathon, I can say that I like it.

What really got me is my new favorite character, Sokka. I stick my tongue out at anyone who underestimates him. I actually did stick my tongue out whenever he get the upper hand.

Now, I can't get a hold of the second season. I'm crying on the inside.

I've been deleting so many of my deviations.

First, I deleted my Bleach image. I basically took an official art and added a symbol. Really? I wanted it to be flagged and taken off. There was no artistic value to it, and it was basically stolen. There was no way it should have been the most popular item in my entire gallery. It had 50 favorites!! NO. Look at the rest of my gallery, jerks.

Almost the same goes for my Magic/Guilty Gear cards set. At least there, I had some creative say in it. I took official images from Guilty Gear and took copyrighted style from Magic: the Gathering.

But, they were being the ones with the most favorites. Again, they don't deserve so much acclaim. They were just for fun. People were actually telling me I did a good job. I actually did NO job on it. I appreciate that they like it, but actually just putting a comment there saying, "I like Guilty Gear!" just makes me cry.

I put actual efforts and other creative stuff here. You know what? I just might make another account for those things, just to pander to the ones who want it, but this account is not for that stuff.

The last stuff I deleted? My IndiPan novel stuff. I'm going all out edit on the whole thing.

My friends told me their opinions, and I agreed with them. So, the revamp begins!

A Godzilla binge.

You can thank James Rolfe (a.k.a. The Angry Video Game Nerd) at Cinemassacre for it.

I've decided to rent and watch all of the Godzilla movies I can get my hands on.

I can't get the older ones, but I managed to get all the ones from 1998 and on.

You know what? I agree with James that the American movie isn't really Godzilla. Toho, the company that created and still own Godzilla, officially named the American monster Zilla and says that it's an entirely different monster.

I agree! Now, if we take out the Godzilla title of the film, I say it's an awesome movie!

I already watched the American Zilla, Godzilla 2000, and Godzilla VS. Megaguirus.

Next is Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. Rolls right off the tongue, eh?

You know what? I really want to make films now. Since Cloverfield came out, it's proving that giant monsters/kaiju are still popular.

I want to make a whole series of kaiju films. I've even thought up of some ideas and concepts. It would be awesome, if I could get through with it. And the whole concept could be in canon with Toho's creations, if they feel like it.

Hell, they took King Kong, grew him up and pit him against Godzilla. If I were to open a studio that made kaiju films, I would be more than honored if they just acknowledged my monsters' existence.

Sorry, I'm gushing nerdiness all over the place. Gotta watch this movie before I short circuit.

Yesterday was my 22nd birthday.

Hah! I stopped caring at 14 when I didn't have anything.

Oh, my 19th (I think) was great when my current friends had fun with me at Magic Mountain and stuff.

But now a days....I'm just depressed.

I turned down a chance to celebrate for several reasons. One, the person who wanted to do it had a soar throat and was tired. Two, they seemed like they either didn't want to do it, or they were forcing themself to do something for me just because it was my birthday. Three, I've stopped caring about myself and my birthdays.

To go out and have someone pay for something that I won't be grateful for would be a horrible thing to do to them.

My mom got me a brownie and let me order pizza and rent movies. That was wonderful. It made me happy.

Hopefully I can convince her to let me buy a special Hellsing DVD, but I doubt it.

Really, I can't bring myself to care about anniversaries. WHEN they happen is when you should respect it.

Oh no! A year passed by whatever happened. We must do something special!

Why the heck a year? Why not a day? Why not a month? Why not a decade?

WHY FREAKING DO IT AT ALL.

Well then....hee hee hee.....

I've decided to re-re-do some of my drawings. From Ion through Delano.

Before I discovered the pen tool, I used to just black out my pencil markings. Eesh. Ever since I found the pen tool, those past drawings have been glaring at me.

So, I've decided to re-trace them all, even fix some anatomy problems.

Biggest problems? Miyoko and Freja. Miyoko was just...wrong. Freja was way too broad shouldered.

And Twick's eyes are always messed up. I never drew them originally, hoping I could fix it on the computer. Ugh. I hate his eyes. Even the re-done ones, but they're the most tolerable.

Ion, the first one I've ever done looks basically the same, but I'm just as happy with the change as I am with the others.

Oh, and the BIGGEST achievement?

ZAK!!!

I can't hold myself back. A while ago, I watched an anime in Japanese with English subtitles.

I loved that anime.

Now, I found it on a special cable channel, dubbed in English.

I am more than blown away. The show put me to tears. Not just because of the story and atmosphere, but the voice actors themselves were awesome.

Not awesome as in cool, but as in I am in AWE.

I felt like letting everyone who cares know something.

I don't help causes. I don't donate time, money, energy, or anything to anything.

You see that charity? You'll never see me near it.

It's not like I don't care, it's just that I don't care.

Do I seem cold hearted or something? Too bad.

I deal in personal help, not anonymous. Well, I wouldn't mind not getting credit. I just feel that taking a personal interest in the matter is much more satisfying than just giving money to an organization to do with as they please.

No donations. No causes. I don't care for them.

If you really want to help and make a difference, just look around. Take care of what's around you and worry about everyone else later.

I deal with juvenile delinquents and drug addicts and drunkards everyday as part of my job. Goodwill is a place to get community service done, by the way.

As I talk to them, I try to find out why and how they got here. Some people genuinely feel bad about what they've done, but have weaknesses. I do my best to give them alternatives to their problem. If I can't, at least I help them figure out a way to lessen the severity of what they do.

That's not even part of my job!

My current status. I live in an apartment with my mother and my beagle mix named Echo. I have for a year and a half. I am employed in a thrift store environment.

My work schedule keeps me there for five days out of the week at inappropriate times. They're inappropriate because by the time I wake up, I only have time to get to work. By the time I get off work, I need to sleep. Yep. I work full time.

Working full time is putting a little strain on me, but I must persevere. Thanks to the job, I own a Nintendo Wii. Yeah, I'm one of the rare few.

Also, it's a good way to keep in contact with your friends.
