Today I got curious as to the meaning of my family's last name, so after school I performed a search on some genealogy site. As it turns out, my last name is as follows: Sten (old spelling) or Stein (new spelling) means stone, and Kvist (old) or Quist (new) means twig. Now that means that my literal last name is Stone Twig or Twig of the Stone........................thats really lame.

I logged on today, and I was suprised to find that I have become a deviantArt subscriber! This came as a shock to me, seeing as I hadn't subscribed myself, and I don't know who would subscribe me. Also, my page has been mysteriously adorned with a personal website link that says "Be Generous." When clicked, it takes the clicker to the subscription page to give ME a supscription. While I'm trying to sort out this conundrum, I have a special message for the kind soul generous enough to adorn me with the rank of deviantART subscriber: Thanks!

EDIT: website link removed, and I just discovered it's only a weeklong supscription. Is this some trial supscription generously given to me from deviantART in an attempt to get me hooked and re-subscribe? I think so.

If you've looked at my art, you might notice that some of the pictures have scan lines that run horizontal on the page, and if you haven't looked at my art, why not do it now to see what I'm talking about? (shameless plug) Well I have recently discovered the problem that causes my horrid machine to do the evil things it does. One of the rollers sticks just a little each time it scans something, causing those evil scan lines I loathe with such a passion. AND I've also discovered the cure (but it sucks too): I actually have to hold the scanner on it's side while it scans. It gives good results, but causes me to do tiresome work over and over again. This is the second problem now that my scanner has troubled me with (the first being it came with no software). I guess that's what I get for twenty bucks...
