The year is nearly at an end, thank god! TAFE is still driving me up the shits and I can't wait for it all to be over. I'm pretty excited about finishing my Creative Folio book though, and getting it back.. should look pretty fancy!
I've decided not to do the Diploma next year, so I'm ending this year with just a Cert IV.

As soon as the course finishes in December I'm moving in with my lovely, *NeoKillswitch in Brisbane. Which means I'll need to find myself a job... and source out new models and locations for photoshoots. I'm keen on getting a job though... living off Centrelink pay for a year has been shithouse.

I'm hoping to save up money to buy a Canon 7D. My second hand 350D just isn't keeping me happy.

Anywayz, I hope you're all still following my work... I can't be fucked writing a proper journal entry.. so this will do.

It is almost end of semester, and TAFE is taking its toll on me. Assignments left, right and centre. And those who know me, know how much I fail at keeping up to date with assignment work.
I haven't had a lot of time for personal/client photography this year. Although there may be a few coming. I've also been rather slack posting up my TAFE photography. I shall try to get things posted in the next few weeks.

I've learnt a few new things in photoshop, so my editing will start to take a change which may be noticeable - hopefully for the best.

Vocational Placement is a module in my course, so I will be looking for fashion/editorial photographers that live close by; so I can tag along to shoots and learn the industry.

Not quite sure what else to mention...... I'd just like to say; if you like my work... or have any constructive criticism.. PLEASE tell me. The good and/or the bad. I need to learn, and I love to hear opinions; we're all entitled to them. And if you DO like an image, take the time to browse through my entire gallery. Feel free to just drop a comment for a chat with me about photography... or just a chat in general. I don't bite.

Well, this is it. 2009. The year I will finally begin to pursue my dream of becoming one of the worlds most well known fashion photographers. - haha

February 9th of 2009 is the starting date of the Photo Imaging course I will be undertaking at the TAFE Toowoomba campus. Completion of 2009 will get me a Certificate IV, however I plan to continue my studies in 2010 to recieve a Diploma.

I am VERY excited and eager to start. But at the same time, quite nervous. I've never done any study towards Photography and perhaps a little worried that I've fallen into my own way of doing things. I don't know anyone in Toowoomba and am just hoping there will be someone I can relate to in my classes.

Weeks will be long and tiring; waking up early enough to travel an hour to Toowoomba, do a full day of study, and the journey home again. To get a good nights sleep, and repeat Monday through to Thursday.

Somehow I guess I'll manage to find the time for a part-time job ontop of everything. Perhaps a few photoshoots for extra cash to get by. And of course find the time for home-study and assignment shoots.

I hope my supporters stay with me on this journey and get to witness the changes not only in my photography, but in myself. Thank you all for being so kind.
