1) Looks like Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi lost his luck and didn't impress his enemies - have a look at [link]

2) The case of Roman Polanski is evolving and I'm glad, because I'm writing my final Law exam essay about his case - so far the examining professor appreciated the plan I've shown him ( yes, we are obliged to consult plans and ideas with professors in Poland ), now I'll have to gather more material for the work.
I'd like to thank for help in this matter.

3) At last we signed the deal with the United States to have their troops and Patriot missiles in Poland !
I'm waiting for people ranting about this matter, since I like to laugh at such irrational opinions.

4) Last but not least - I have Misdemeanor Law exam tomorrow - in 11 hours. Of course, I'm ready for this battle, just I've never written a test at 8:00 AM before. New experience, isn't it ?

Those, who already have Winter holidays - hope You enjoy them. Mine start this Friday afternoon, so I'll be busy a bit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
End of transmission.

But for us, Poles, 11th November is the symbol of Rebirth of Poland - after 123 years of Russian-Prussian-Austrian slavery between 1795 and 1918, we managed to revive our motherland.

And I hope Poland and Germany will continue the era of friendly affairs, that started yet in 1965.

I wonder, why didn't the commanders of major Hasan act, when he started acting suspiciously before he attacked his comrades in Fort Hood.

2)European Muslims also seem aggressive, hopefully not like Major Hassan. This week, they forced European Court of Justice to consider Christian Cross as religious symbol, not culture symbol and eventually, they managed to remove such crosses from one school in Italy.

Okay, I understand they cannot stand the symbol of Christianity ( although they consider Jesus Christ as prophet before Muhammad ! ) , but they don't want to know, that European Culture is based on Christianity, just like the Arab culture is based on Koran.

If we, Europeans, submitted a statute, that Muslim women are not allowed to wear their traditional outfits in public, they either would have made a scandal or even hire terrorists to attack us. And if they complain, we have to obey them.

70 years ago, the IIIrd Reich started World War II by attacking Poland. Although French Prime Minister Edouard Daladier and British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain did declare war with Nazis on 3rd September 1939, they did nothing important to help us, Poles. One year earlier, they allowed Hitler to take Czechoslovakia without any objection and one year after ( in 1940 ), both paid for being cowards - the Wehrmacht took France and threatened the United Kingdom.

Even without help from the West, Polish Army was able to stop the forces of the IIIrd Reich, if the Red Army didn't attack us in thievish way on 17th September 1939 - as part of Ribbentrop-Molotov agreement.

It's no doubt Hitler, his squire named Hans Frank and the Nazis kept us, Poles in terror between 1939 and 1945 - my mother's father escaped from Majdanek prison camp in 1942, when the Nazi terror grew in power. And my grandfather from father's side effectively fought the Nazis and their minions as Armia Krajowa soldier.

However, unlike bulk part of the Polish society, I'm convinced that being prejudiced against Germans for World War II and earlier events lost sense. Our neighbours from Western side of Oder River had already paid for Nazis' crimes and they don't deserve constant reminding them about the period of 1939-45.

In 1960s, German Bishops and Polish Bishops started new period of Polish-German affairs based on peace, well known here ( not sure if in Germany ). Since we're both in UN, NATO and EU, I don't see any basis for Polish-German hate, like shown by Erika Steinbach, Rudi Pavelka and Polish radicals led by Jacek Kurski ( PiS member ).

Sadly, I can't accept the fact Kremlin is keeping to denying the fact of Ribbentrop-Molotov pact. Yes, we, Poles, had pact on non-aggression with Hitler, signed in 1934, but this wasn't aimed against the Soviet Union, both in direct meaning and interpretations.
And how will Kremlin explain the fact, they taught German Panzerwaffe soldiers in 1929-1933 ? It was before Polish-IIIrd Reich treaty. Not to mention the Nazis took the idea of their prison camps from GRU/NKVD, that has been existing since 1920s...

Let's not forget those, who fought in World War II - both Poles, who defended Poland and Germans, who were forced to obey stupid orders.

1) Last Sunday I've read an article in newspaper about Russian ways of describing history. Those, who live in the free world, do know that Kremlin's propaganda does have impact on Russians since Czar times, that's why they keep lying about Katyń and Soviet War crimes.
But this can change - one Russian professor from Moscow made an interview for "Gazeta Wyborcza" and the prof claims that Russians sooner or later will have to admit, that they were aggressors, who take 50% responsibility for Ribbentrop-Molotov pact , Katyń and other war crimes. If Kremlin keeps lying about history, it may result in isolating Russia from the civilized world and only few citizens from that country would like to live like North Koreans do.

Still, I doubt if President Putin knees in front of the grave in Katyń, where my grandfather's brother and other Polish officers have gone in 1940.

2) I've noticed that the school year in the United States has already started. Although I still have holidays till October, I'll have to return to university in a week or two to deal with some cases.
Anyway, I wish my brothers and sisters from another side of Ocean best results in education, no homework to do, easy tests and fast completing of classes ! ^^
----------------------------------------------------------------------
End of transmission.

1) It seems President Barack Obama keeps forgetting about his East European allies - Poles, Czechs, Slovaks and Hungarians. So the politicians from those countries wrote a letter to the current American leader. For more details, read [link]

Personally, I agree with the letter's authors. B. Obama claims, that he can make a stable deal with Kremlin, pity he doesn't know the way, how do his new partners-to-be lead diplomacy. It's more than obvious Putin and Myedvedhev have plans to make the United States , NATO and EU weak, make the Soviet Union reborn and do much worse things than those aforasaid. When that happens, I'm more than sure the new Katyń massacre is about to happen - read [link]

I know president Obama and his followers are not likely to read my words, but I recommend them to be careful when dealing with Russians - unless they want to end like my grandfather's brother, who was killed in Katyń from Bolshevik's paws.

2) What's worse, I've noticed there are Americans, who allowed themselves to catch the communist fever and they seem happy to worship this kind of evil.
Brothers and sisters from the United States - watch out for those traitors ! Who knows what are they planning behind your back...

3) The crisis has come to Poland at last.
Half an hour ago I got a phone call from travel agent in my hometown - they invited me for one-day trip to Warsaw in August, because they're loosing clients and urgently need money. Dunno about You, but this sounded amusing for me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
End of transmission.

First, I'd like to thank all my brothers and sisters-in-faith and everyone, who helped me standing the evil named "Professor examining from Financial Law", without Your and God's help, this exam would end in disaster for me.

Here's the story of one tough battle, where only 6 out of 20 students passed Financial Law exam:

I couldn't sleep today - I had dreams I got stupid questions ( e.g. "Describe Kremlin's budget" or "Differences between financing township Lublin (my hometown) and township Warsaw" ) . I woke up at 5:40 AM GMT+1.
The exam was supposed to start at 10:00 AM GMT+1, but the prof was late ( as usual ) . We've given the leading Juris Doctor ( second-in-command after her ) our student indexes and went for exam in couples.

The Financial Law exam reminds penal trial - You're examined by prof and 2 of her assistants - she's sitting in the middle, Juris Doctor left to her and lower-grade assistant right to her. I felt as if I had penal trial, although I hadn't committed any crime...

I got 2 stupid questions:
1) Differences between State Debt and Country's Public Debt - she kept asking me questions if township belongs to Public Debt ( it doesn't ) and if the University does ( it does, since it's State Legal Entity )
2) Tax responsibility of family members - I've made minor mistakes, she caught me twice.

I don't remember an exam I had such amount of stress inside me. Finally, I got C and this means I only have to worry about Civil Law ( which is far easier than Financial Law).

For C. Those, who are not interested, pleased stop reading here. For others, here's the brief story:
I arrived before 9.00 AM at the university and I had to wait one hour 20 minutes for the profs. They took our student report cards and indexes for about 15 minutes. Me and 13 of my 28 classmates got assigned to a guy, who was said to be just in judging students. I had bad luck to be in the end of exam list. I waited till 2.00 PM, trying to bear my mates revising material aloud in the corridor ( according to their explanations, they barely study at homes/hostels ) and making drama about the exam.
OK, I understand Penal Law is difficult, but they could follow my example - I've been studying this since April 2009 and I didn't have such fear.
At 2.00 PM, me and 2 of my remaining classmates, were asked to enter the prof's cabinet and choose questions from sets. As always, I got the stupidest questions:
1) Kinds of decisions during Penal Trial
2) Excluding judge during trial - the difference between iudex suspectus ( excluded on motion ) and iudex inhabilis ( excluded by law )
3) Void Complaint reasons
4) History of the Polish 1st instance courts 1918-39.

I stuttered a bit when answering the first question, the examining guy didn't allow me complete questions 2 and 3 and I lost the questions about history - it wasn't in books we were told to study !

My classmates got easier questions, but even those made them trouble. One of my mates told the prof, that prosecutor is a party during Preparation Process ( investigation ) , which is one of worst errors student can make - during investigation, prosecutor never acts like party ! This organ leads investigation, just like the court leads Jurisdiction Process.

Good for us, we all got C from the exam. It was hard and exhausting, like the first part of the Hamburger Hill battle. [link] . This time, we pushed off the enemy with minor losses - only one person failed the exam.
From tomorrow, I'll be revising Financial Law for the exam on 15th June. This one will be even tougher than today's one, but heck - I returned from similar trouble in good condition.

PS. I'd like to thank all my brothers- and sisters-in-faith for Your support. Without You and Our Lady Mary's help ( I prayed to her during waiting ), I wouldn't perform that well.

1) Tomorrow will be the 20th anniversary of defeating communism in Poland. On the 4th June 1989, we launched first fully democratic elections to parliament. Since the commies had only 35% of support, soon they had to cease PZPR ( "Polska Zjednoczona Partia Robotnicza" = "Polish United Workers Party" or more accurately "Płatni Zdrajcy Pachołki Rosji" = "Paid Traitors Minions of Russia" ). This made inspiration for our allies in Germany, Hungary, Czechoslovakia and Romania to show those bandits from Kremlin, what do the true Europeans think about their regime.

I wish we didn't live far away from each other, in other case, I'd make a party and invite You to celebrate this anniversary...Despite the fact I have Penal Law exam this Sunday.

2) I passed Society Law exam for C+. This test was easy enough that I didn't need to cheat. Although most of my mates wrote the test with Society Law statute on their laps ! And they also got C+.

3) Part for my friend
Rudi, since you translated "Dans met die rooi rok" for me, here's the accurate translation of [link]

PIECHOTA
[Infantry]

1
Nie noszą lampasów lecz szary ich strój!
[ They aren't wearing gallons, but their gray outfit ]
Gallons were worn by many infantries during WW 1, but the Poles wore plain gray uniforms, like those [link]

Nie noszą ni srebra, ni złota,
[ They wear no silver no gold ]
As written above.

Lecz w pierwszym szeregu podąża na bój
[ But in first row, it hurries for a battle ]
This part has to accent the courage of our troops. They haven't been fearing enemies since the beginning of the Polish Army in 9th Century AD !

Piechota, ta szara piechota,
[Infantry, that gray infantry]

CHORUS
Maszerują strzelcy maszerują
[Riflemen are marching, marching]
This is an example of typical Polish word order in poetry -> verb, noun and verb again. This construction can cause interpretation problems.

Karabiny błyszczą, szary strój
[Rifles are shining, gray ountfit]
The troopers always kept their weapons in good condition. Notice the second connection of adjective + noun, often used in poetry instead of normal sentence noun+verb.

A przed nimi drzewa salutują,
[And in front of them them trees are saluting ]
It's an accent of the fact Poles were fighting for just cause - independence of their country. In 1914, Poland was divided between Germany, Austria and Russia.

Bo za naszą Polskę idą w bój!
[Because they're going for our Poland into battle]
Again, this is reverse word order used in poetry ( sentence with additional elements).

2.
Idą, a w słońcu kołysze się stal,
[They're coming and in sun, steel is swinging]
When carrying during march, rifles and bayonets do swing.
Second sentence is an example of reverse order verb+noun, very common in Polish poetry.

Dziewczęta zerkają zza płota,
[The girls are staring beyond a fence]
In Poland, we have a quote "Za mundurem panny sznurem" = "When they see a uniform, virgins get attracted by the wearer". This part id based on that quote.

A oczy ich dumne utkwione są w dal,
[And their ( soldiers' ) eyes are proudly pointing far away]
The troopers aren't thinking about the girls staring. They have more important thing to be worried about - fighting for independent Poland.

Piechota, ta szara piechota.
[Infantry, that gray infantry]

CHORUS

3.
Nie grają im surmy, nie huczy im róg,
[They don't have surmas playing, nor horn roars for them]
surma is kind of long and curved trumpet.
This part shows the soldiers are marching without fanfares and in silence, which is based on facts - they rather didn't have warm welcoming in the front line.

A śmierć im pod stopy się miota,
[And death is crawling under their feet]
This is based upon facts of high death rate in the Polish Army - those troopers have often risked their lives in combat.

Lecz w pierwszym szeregu podąża na bój
[ But in first row, it hurries for a battle ]

Piechota, ta szara piechota.
[Inf...

1) Since Jaap de Hoop Scheffer is going to be retired as NATO Secretary General, it's obvious that someone else has to replace him. There is a candidate from Poland, Radosław Sikorski [link] , sadly, he lost most of his election chances. It seems his opinion about Russian invasion in Georgia made him less popular for Western Allies. Especially President Obama prefers to build alliance with Russia ( I wonder how will it look like, hope we won't be vassals of Kremlin for third time in history )...

2) You may have noticed I'm not as active here as I used to be. For those, who didn't read my latest journal entry, the reason is called Financial Law. So far I've read 250 pages out of 430 from the university book demanded for exam. I must say the Financial Law isn't tough to learn, but few parts of material are written in a way I disagree with book's author ( I'll have exam at her in May).
For example, the professor showed the Polish tax system as one of perfect ones in the world. Does anyone sane would like to pay 2 taxes at the same time ? I mean: standard 22% VAT ( Value Added Tax ) + usually 20% Income Tax -> If You earn 100 $ , You have to give 42 $ from Your income to country's treasury and the costs of living aren't included in those taxes !

Not to mention almost every Civil Law actions require paying tax for them...

No, I'm not a communist or other kind of dork , but personally I think those taxes should be lowered. Especially since most of the country's income ( at least that's common in Poland, dunno about Your countries ) from taxes goes to our politicians' pockets.

3) Last week I've seen a large spam war at one of my newest watchers, who stole others artworks and posted as her own.
I agree, she made a bad thing by stealing it, but was it necessary for one Bugs Bunny artist to act like a jerk without rules ?
If I were in her shoes, I'd report that thief to and didn't make cheap drama in front of thief's gallery.
Those, who are interested in this case, send me a note and I'll explain You this situation. I just don't want to insult others in public.

4) Last but not least:
Despite being busy with studying, I barely find time for drawing. Currently 3 of my friends are awaiting for drawings I promised to draw for them. Please give me time and I'll try to do my best.

End of transmission.

The sketch is ready, but I'm unable to find good reference photo of such uniform. Besides, the pieces of information I have so far, sound confusing; especially the story of Tiger Stripe uniform pattern.
On February 2nd 2007, I've opened this account on deviantART. After those two years, I have mixed feelings about this website.

At the beginning, I didn't know it's full of stalkers. The first week wasn't over, when one nasty guy started flaming me. He got eventually banned, but when one troll disappears, three new replace him. Last year I got used to such people, who used to drive me crazy. After having over 100 hostile people leaving annoying comments in my gallery, they appear rather boring. Especially those, who think they will convert me into communism.
Second, many people here can act unpredictably. Everytime I read comments against the United States below my drawings, I laugh: How can those deviants spit at this country, since deviantART is an American website ? I doubt they're aware of making bad comedy at themselves.
Those were things I mostly complain about.

To be honest, I didn't know I would meet such wonderful ( that's not sarcasm ) friends there. Especially from countries I never expected to have mates, like Germany ( 3 good friends + 7 watchers ), the United Kingdom and the United States of America, who helped me much in developing my spoken/written English and German.

I'd like to thank everyone from the House of Lords and the House of Commons ( read my journal ) for being good friends and helping me with drawing and trouble.

In 2 weeks, I'll have those finals to pass ( Polish names in brackets ):
1) Administrative Procedure Law ( Postę-powanie Administracyjne ) - passed for C+
2) Crime Detection ( Kryminalistyka ) - passed for C+
3) Medicine in Jurisdiction ( Medycyna Sądowa ) - passed for A
4) Psychology in Jurisdiction ( Psychologia Sądowa ) dunno yet, since the leading Juris Doctor forgot to make a term.

As You see, till 4th February I'll be having difficulties with posting new drawings ( one request is being drawn ) and writing my story chapters ( still working on chapter 4 & 5 ).

I'll try to be online as often as I can. If anyone has exams at university/college, I wish You have easier exams than mine !

EDIT 1:
On 27th January 2009 I've passed Administrative Procedure Law . The exam was weird itself - I had to get up at 5:00 AM to arrive before 6:30 AM, when the university was opened. Of course I were the first in queue for exam, which didn't go as well as I wanted...
I went with a female student, who was worse prepared than me. The examining guy gave us 2 questions for each person - I had to describe the differences between various kinds of protocols in Administrative Procedure and explain what's suspending of trial. I told him everything from code book and his lectures ( he hadn't written any book ), which took me 6 minutes of constant speaking, but he only gave me C+.
The girl that went with me had much simpler questions:
1) Who can be the party during Administrative Procedure trial
2) What are the differences between statement and Administrative decision.
Although she messed up everything, she was given B+ !

After the exam, I've waited till 12:00 AM to see the results. Few of my male chums failed, and from those, who passed, no one was given more than C. At the same time, all my female classmates passed for Bs and As, none of them got C or F.

Maybe I'm becoming ambitious, but I feel bitter after this exam. C+ for 4 months of constant studying can't be called good price, don't You think ?

EDIT 2:
Today (2nd Feb 2009 ) I passed Crime Detection exam. It was easier than Administrative Procedure Law, but still, I had bad luck with questions.
The professor ( former Polish vice-Minister of Internal Affairs in 1998 ) gave me 2 questions:
1) various definitions of Crime Detection - went well;
2) Everything about fingerprints - this time he won with me. I mistook most of the names ( difficult to remember ). At the same time the girl, who went with me, got question about firearms and she failed the exam.
I wish she had question about fingerprints and I had the question about firearms - if that could happen, I'd have B+ or even A, unless the professor got angry for pointing out mistakes from the book he ordered us to study from ( he hadn't written it) - like calling this [link] "combined weapon" , which is a serious mistake, this [link] is combined weapon.

Although that guy gave me C+ and that female student failed the exam, I'm glad this exam session is over. I'm having a week break, after that I'm gonna study to Civil Law test and for Financial Law exam.

It seems Russian government found a new Winter sport - they intimidate other countries, to pay more for gas they trade with us. Ukraine got accused for not paying the gas price on time, so Russians lowered the supplies. This means:
1) Slovakian government has announced crisis situation;
2) Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, and the Baltic countries lost 90% of their gas supplies;
3) Poland and Germany lost 70% of gas supplies from Russia.

Here, our previous government takes responsibility for this crisis - if those fools from post-communist party had written a contract with Norway for trading gas, the problem would have been solved. But they had to sign such contract with aggressive country in the East!

Not to mention the European Union is afraid to make negotiations with those gas suppliers...

How long will the Russian government be treating its European customers as targets for bullying ?
This month I'm planning to have only one exam - in American Law. The worst ones ( Administration Procedure Law and Criminal Law ) have fixed terms in January and none of the professors wants to make them earlier.

While reading professor's Tokarczyk's book ( see the cover [link] ), I've learned some interesting facts about the Law used in the United States, like:
- most of American institutions are similar to Polish ones ( we only don't have jury during trials and death penalty isn't sentenced here )
- counties in Maine are called "plantations"
- in Indiana, 10-year old kids can get a death penalty in sentence ( sic !)
- to obtain state citizenship in Arizona, you only have to live there for one month
- there are many kinds of visas ( I'd like to get B-2 [tourist] of F-1 [academic student visa], when I complete education I may think about J [exchange visitor visa] )

EDIT:
I passed the American Law exam today. It wasn't very tough, except the line made by 600 (!) students from various grades, trying to pass other exam held by this guy. I had to push through them and eventually, I managed to have my exam.
The professor asked me those questions:
1) Have I ever been to the United States;
2) Which branch of Law have I prepared;
3) What are the differences between the Polish and American Penal Law.
I'll only say this exam was less demanding than You may expected.
From this day, I'm entitled to be a member of Sejm ( lower chamber of Polish Parliament)and get married without having my parents permission. In the United States of America, I'd have a right to drink alcohol without violating the federal law.

Hopefully, being a law student is much more than just having parties and enjoying life - if you don't study regularly, you risk failing exams. Besides, all the Polish politicians should belong to a strong party, if they plan a political career. I don't see myself as minion of Kaczynskis brothers ( PiS party) or as Prime Minister Tusks' vassal. Let's say such life is not for me.

Studies also disturb me in setting up my own family - try to study to exams, help your wife/husband at home and play with children at the same time ! I'm planning to have my own family, but this has to wait, till I complete education and establish my life.

If anyone feels obliged to write "Happy Birthday", this journal entry was written for such purpose.

And I'd like to thank everyone, who drew pics for me, especially:
for [link]
for [link]
for [link]
for [link]
for [link]
for [link]

1) In four days, we'll be celebrating the Independence Day in Poland. President Kaczynski gave up the idea of a party, but still, he replaced a party with concert for guests. I'll write more when this events comes.

2) One of Kaczynskis' minions from PiS party made a stupid thing today. He lives in Gdansk (Danzig) and must drive to Warsaw for parliament's debates.
This morning, he avoided standing in traffic jam by joining a Police convoy with dangerous criminals !
He got stopped after driving 100 kms. Normally he would have a trial, since the Policemen were afraid that he could be trying to recapture the criminals ( they didn't recognize him) , but he only received a warning from Lech Kaczynski.
And this party is called "Prawo i Sprawiedliwość" = "Law and Justice"...

3) On Monday I had my first classes at military court. Don't think I helped the judge during trial - I spent whole 4 hours on reading courts regulations and writing case material to protocol.
Still, I were the only one from 8 volunteers, who were supposed to report to Colonel chairman of the court. Imagine how had I felt when he asked me why the rest of "squad" was absent...

4)On 9th December I'll turn 21. You don't have to draw me anything, I'll be glad if you just send me wishes when this day come. But should anyone feels the need of drawing me a pic, I'm ready to consult that.

End of transmission.

I've just read the TV program for tomorrow and Polish television channel TVP 1 will be broadcasting "Garfield & Friends" !
I had to wait 5 long years for that and this means I'll be able to watch one of the cartoons that made my childhood. I have one myself-recorded VHS with crappy Polish version, 7 bought in Poland ( similar crappy dub) , one recorded from German Sat1 ( better dub than Polish)and I wonder how did the cartoon looks alike. It's shown at 19:00 GMT as a show for children, so it should be better-dubbed.

As some of you know, I'm a huge Garfield fan. Except the VHS tapes I own a large collection of comics ( 5 original US issues, 19 Polish ones, 3 Croatian, 2 British, one Hungarian ), I even have a Garfield plushie and an awful PC game.

Of course I have both movies on DVD, but those ones can't be called genuine Garfield films, mainly because I don't feel the old comics/cartoon spirit there. Besides, I don't like Bill Murray's voice, he can't be compared to Lorenzo Music.

If any Garfield fan has Polish TV channel at home and he doesn't mind the Polish language, feel free to watch the always-hungry cat.

1) I've just returned from Rhodes ( Greece ) and I must say this trip was better than I expected, especially because of the Old Town and good conditions of stay ( good that the Greeks know English in 99% cases ). Once I have a good rest, expect new photos in this gallery.

2) At last Poland made an agreement with the USA about the missile shield. Our representatives signed a contract for Patriot rockets and 2 US Army garrisons here, which means Russians won't take the whole Central Europe as easy as Georgia.
And don't believe that Russians have interest in attacking Poland - they risk conflict with whole NATO, which means they would loose after a week of fights. Kremlin authorities have better income from blackmailing vocally my country and having fun out of it by limiting trade.
But who said Poland can't buy petrol and gas from Norway or Great Britain ? Those two countries are our allies in NATO and Schengen Zone and both offer better-quality sources than those imported from the Jamal Peninsula in Siberia.

3)Although I'm not a big fan of sport, I'm pleased that Poland won two medals in Beijing Olympic Games. Golden in throwing a disc and silver in duels (not sure about the disciplines names).

End of transmission.

Due to the trip I had last week, I was off-line for 5 days. But the absence was worth it, at least for me & some of you. But let's move on to the main idea of my journal.

This was the first time I've ever travelled by plane, but it wasn't as scary as I imagined. Except the fact I felt a headache during the take-off and landing, it was quite fun, especially to see the land below the plane.

In London, our trip program was divided into 4 days. We visited almost every famous museums ( the trip pilot allowed to go to the Imperial War Museum instead of the Tate Gallery, guess why ).
The capital of Great Britain a bit reminds me Warsaw, especially with the crowds in the streets ( Piccadilly Circus may prove my theory - it was always crowded during my holidays there), the subway and nightlife.

At last I could check if the 12 years spend on learning English were worth the effort I put in my education. I could communicate with the people there without trouble. This is the main advantage over the holidays I spent before; it may not sound important to others, but I felt a comfort in sightseeing I've never had before.

Our trip pilot bought dinners in 3 various restaurants, so I tasted the traditional British cuisine, the Indian one and the Chinese one. I ate fish with chips only once, but the cod tasted better than most restaurants in Poland offer.
I'm unable to name the Indian meal, but I liked the spicy taste of the "tortilla" with pancake and chicken with rice. The weirdest thing was Indian beer called "Cobra" - I dunno if they named it after a poisonous snake or American helicopter commonly used in Vietnam, but the taste was suspicious. And it's extremely expensive for me - 5 GBP per pint ( read 20 PLN for 0,6 l ).
Dad criticized the Chinese for the way they serve customers - first you have to pay them, then expect a service, that acts quickly and gives you 5 plates of food at the same time. But I can't complain about the quality of meals we were given, even the beer called "Tsingtao" tastes a bit like Polish "Żywiec" (Zhyvyets).

I brought from England:
- over 250 photos of various places (150 from Imperial War Museum);
-7 books in English : 3 about British Army in WW 2, one about Cromwell medium tanks , one about jungle tactics used during WW 2, one comics book with Garfield ( I buy the comics with him since 2001 - from various countries ) and a X-Men comics book for my younger sister ( her favourite TV Show);
- 3 CDs with Scottish music ( unavailable in Poland);
- one DVD with "Heathcliff" TV show in original version ( I loved that show when I was younger)
- 4 bottles of British bitter beer called "Spitfire" and "Bombardier" , awaiting for consumption in the fridge;
- and good opinion about the trip.

I'll upload the photos once I have a good nap, because the plane to Warsaw was delayed for 12 hours on Sunday, I haven't slept for 30 hours and I have to choose the best ones.

It was a pleasure for me to build it, except tracks (they broke and I had to use staples to keep them joined).

3) Since I've promised two of my friends, that I show them ( on MSN ) some photos I found in a military magazine, I'd like to ask them to contact me on MSN as soon as possible, best between 21:00 and 22:00 GMT+1.
I don't want to become a person, who breaks his promises. Each tagged person must post 8 things about their self on their journal.
3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 8 people and post their icons on the same journal.
4. Go to their pages and send a message saying you tagged them.
5. No tag-backs.

So let's start:

1. I hate studying. Who likes it anyway ? xD

2. I'm a proud Christian, but I don't persecute other religions.

3. Should someone blame me of being anti-Russian, I explain for the last time: I'M NOT AGAINST ANY NATION. But criticizing communism & other regimes is another story.

4. My new motto: If you don't like anything in my gallery, show me a statute that forbids drawing/writing subjects I mention here. I only accept statutory law & Common Law.

5. People say that I'm unfriendly. Ask anyone from the Safety Council in the House of Commons on [link] and you should get at least 5 positive pieces of reference about me (sorry for mistakes, I didn't have Employment Law yet)

6. This place is awaiting for your advertisement.

7. It may sounds weird, but I don't have a favourite kind of music.

8. Anyone drinks beer ? I need someone for "Bruderschaft" - a friendly ritual known in Poland & Germany. You need at least one friend, two bottles/cans of good beer and two beer glasses.
My exam session is over till September and it's rather unfriendly to drink alone, don't you think ?

Last but not least - I don't tag people. If you want, feel tagged by me. Over.

Here's the complete schedule of my exams:
1) the Penal Law - PASSED FOR A
2) European Union System of Human Rights - PASSED FOR C+
3) the Administration Law - PASSED FOR C
4) the Constitutional Law - FAILED
5) the Civil Law - FAILED 2/3 (I passed the Family part)

The possible grades I may get:
2 = failed (F) (wish me to avoid that xD )
3 = passed, weak (C)
4 = passed, good (B)
5 = passed, excellent (A)

EDIT 1
I passed 2 exams in one week - I had Penal Law on 3rd June and Administration Law on 5th June. Of course none of the professors stopped me - I'm going forward to next exams. Still, it will be rather silly not to remain cautious during the fight at the university front...

EDIT 2
Yesterday we had the test in Constitutional Law. It was one large trap - 15 questions for 30 minutes to solve. Every question had 4 possible answers - one, two, three, all or neither of them could be correct and you had to circle ALL THE CORRECT ONES .
From 170 students, who took part in the exam, 150 failed it. One of them was me and another one was my stalin-worshiping classmate. The 20 lucky ones either had luck and/or cheated.
My personal beliefs and place I got ( near scientists, who guarded us) forbid me cheating.
As you see, I have to wait till September for second attempt. It is said that all the students pass 2nd attempt exam in Constitutional Law. But for safety, I have a plan for studying during holidays.

EDIT 3
Today, I wrote the test in Civil Law. Although it didn't seem as difficult as I've expected and the you only have to write again only the parts you failed (not the whole test) , I still feel worried. If I have 2 exams to pass in second attempt, my holidays will be ruined.
The answer for the exam's result should be known this Thursday.

Anyway, I have holidays in formal meaning of this word. I'd have them in the material meaning, if I passed all my exams. (That's the result of 2-month constant studying - I speak and type like my university vindicators)

Today we celebrate the anniversary of defeating the Third Reich in 1945, when the World War II came to an end in Europe. Only few people know, that this day opened a new era in history - the enslavement of Poland, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania and the Baltic nations became the Soviet vassals for 44 years (Poland for 50 = 1939-1989). Trust me, those times were REALLY harsh for us, the Nations of Middle Europe...

Today I saw the military parade in Moscow. The Russians are showing off with Tu-160 bombers (I wonder why do they resemble American B-1 Lancers.. ) , T-90 main battle tank (modified T-72 = extremely vulnerable to NATO 120mm Anti-Tank gun ) and the new Russian ballistic rockets that will be aimed at Poland, when we accept the Anti-Missile shield project.

The Russians say they don't want to have war with anyone, but my dad taught me, that our former feudal masters still want to have us & many other countries in their power - it's the Russian imperialism, hungry for innocent nations...
So how can I possibly trust those, who desire attacking my country again ?!

But the funniest thing was when Putin was chosen as the Prime Minister - the Russian communist party objected, although Putin is a former KGB colonel ! To pass all the 5 exams, I'll have to take 3 of them in May. It would look like this:
1) May:
Constitutional Law (about 12th May) - seems easy to learn, but worse to pass xD
European System of Human Rights (the middle of May) - dull, but the book has only 150 pages
Penal Law (last week of May) - somehow I'm not afraid of this exam.
2) June:
Administration Law (first half of June) - boring 100 pages of material to learn about the Polish administration, but I've heard the exam is pleasant for students
Civil Law (end of June) - this exam makes me scared. I must know 300 articles of the civil Code book and about 100 from the Family Law Code book...

You may have noticed the frequency of my visits on dA is lower than usual. Thanks to the lovely staff of my University and the chore they give the students...
So, don't expect me in June too often. But after the exam session, I'll return with new pics to my collection.

Tomorrow my gallery will be one year old. The first year I've spent here is difficult to estimate:
1) I've been attacked by various freaks:
- first by one anti-Polish Russian (he's banned now);
- then by a black American terrorist (banned 3 times)
- after that, one big bad troll started to harass me and 3 of my friends
- I got attacked two times by a weird horror lover. He still wants to kill me (I lost the link)
- During holidays, one aggressive Australian was persecuting me for liking cartoons
- One of my friends from Poland turned out to be a Nazi and he betrayed me
- Before Christmas, one commie called me "hypocrite" just because I lost my grandfather from Soviet hands in Katyń and that's why I hate communism
- I couldn't resist my evil classmate offending me for hating communism
- and one hot-headed girl can't differ Russia from Soviet Union and she calls me a hypocrite.

2) On the other hand, I've met loads of wonderful people here. When I opened that gallery 365 years ago, I didn't expect I meet such friends from all over the world. It's nice to have someone, who has similar political views, likes the same cartoons/computer games, shares interests in one subject and last but not least, we can learn new things from each another.

I forgot to say I passed my International Public Law exam with C. Most of my questions were about the United Nations, so I've decided to divide the House of Lords into two parts. You will see how did I that.

1) I'd be given A, but the juris doctor that asked me questions said she doesn't give A marks... ;(
2) I had questions, that weren't worth my skills.
I was asked about definition of words like "command" , "soldier" , "commander" ; then she asked me about the courts for soldiers in Poland and procedure of judging foreign armies' soldiers for crimes committed in Poland.

When I went to receive a delivery, mum turned on the vacuum cleaner. Rita was sleeping and she got awaken. Mum accidentally opened the door and my dad's German shepherd attacked Rita ON MY EYES !
Somehow I've managed to stop the dog and push him away, but the cat fell off the stairs. Mum managed to pick up her, but Rita died on my mum's hands... The shepherd did bite cat's heart and Rita had no chances... ;(

My sister is still unconscious. She's been crying since 5:00 PM GMT+1 and keeps calling Rita...
We've send the cat's body to the vet clinic that burns the dead animals. I somehow resisted that tragedy, but my sister will be down with that till this weekend...

When we took Rita in September 2007, I knew she won't live long near my dad's dog. But my sister was stubborn. Pity that the cat had to die so young...

I took this from erreault: because... it was interesting. Well, here's what was in her journal entry:

~STEP ONE~
*Make a journal. The journal should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

*If you wish for real-life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where someone could get in touch with you.

~STEP TWO~
*Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

*If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

*You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

*There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

And here's my list (order from what I want most leased down to what I'd like to have):

1) See my friends happy.
2) I want to stop all the wars on dA. It's not a bootcamp for fools, though.
3) let people, who spit at me, got rid of their evil & blindness
4) It would be nice if I could meet all my friends on dA... ^^
5) Pass all the exams during my studies
6) Have a well-paid job.
7) I'd like to have Nissan Maxima with turbo diesel engine xD
8) I've always wished to own an original German Army World War II uniform...
8) Some airsoft guns by Tokyo Mauri
9) I'd love the book called "Inside the great tanks of World War II"

You can contact me on my MSN (I'll tell you in a note for safety).

1) At last I have Christmas break ! But the beginning of it was stupid.
First, I had to get up at 6:00 AM GMT+1 to go for the Constitutional Defense of Human Rights. The Juris Doctor and Marshall of the County in one person hadn't arrived, so we left those classes.
Now one of my watchers thinks that there is no difference between Poles and Russians [link] Following his thinking, I should be responsible for killing my own grandfather, murdering Poles, Germans, Hungarians, Czechs, Slovaks and other nations in Europe...

2) But the most important thing is that Poland has just entered the Schengen Zone, which means that I can travel almost everywhere in the European Union.
So I'd like to give greetings for fellow EU citizens from:
