Hey there. It snowed last night and we almost have a foot of it. Today should be enjoyable.
My dad bought me an Xbox a few days ago and I'm waiting for it to arrive...my first console that will ever belong rightfully to me. Thankfully, my mom didn't disapprove outright so I'm happy.

Yes, I'm, back from FL. Didn't make a journal then because I was too tired but here it is.
Anyway, what I wanted to talk about just now is music.
I came across a new music group called Audiomachine. They are incredible and seriously rival Immediate Music and E.S. Posthumus (Check both of them out if you've never heard them).

EDIT: Sitting here on the couch in my brother's and his wife's apartment, using his laptop and and watching Twilight. I'm getting a headache from staying up so long but I can't get to sleep. We have to get up at 2:30 in the morning to drive to Kansas City for the flight. Ugh. I'm going to be so whipped out tomorrow...

Hey guys...I have some bad news. My grandfather died yesterday. He fought long and hard but it still felt like it was too soon.
I was never really close to any of my grandparents but it still hurts.
I'll be flying to Florida tomorrow for the funeral, around midday I think. I hate the idea of flying (never been flying) but I'm going to be there for my dad. He really needs me and this is the least I can do.

Well, I'm here to tell you guys that I'll disappear for about a day or so, not that that is unusual but I feel like I need to get it out in the open. Makes it more official.

I am feeling strangely good today... I mean, not just 'spur of the moment' good but actually happy. I've been trying to get my priorities straight because I'm sick of my mind being on the edge all the time and today, I put all that crap behind me and here I am. All day has been great - a little boring but otherwise very good. Please, don't rain on my parade though. Thanks.

Anyway, had another test today. Think I did okay on it and next week I'll have my Constitution test. Plenty of time to study so I'm thinking it should be easy.
I really want to watch 2012... Maybe I can gather the courage to ask my Mom if we can go...today would be good...

Saw TF 2. I admit it lacked several key points but it was good.
No school Tuesday through Friday due to H1N1 scare (they didn't say that but we all know the real reason...). I'm not complaining of course - any vacation is nice to have though I still haven't been able to catch up on any sleep...

Looking forward to the movie 2012 next week... I'll try to get my Mom to take me to the theater to watch it...it looks fascinating.

Oh, and quick note... my 15,000 pageview is coming up. Not really looking forward to it, just considering it a kind of milestone.

No school today so I'm here with the house to myself and listening to Marilyn Manson. He's a good singer and it's nice to have someone new to listen to.

Received my report card a few days ago and I still have good grades but we have a parent teacher conference later today...debating whether I should go with my Mom later today but I want to know what they say about me.
By the way, remember that Biology test? I flunked it but I don't care. It's my own fault since I forgot to study and it didn't damage my grade anyway.

Well, I don't really have much else to say except I'm expecting my Dad to send me Transformers 2 soon - I might post a review on that after I watch it.

I remember looking forward to my two year checkmark on DA and now, 13 days later, I suddenly realize that I missed it. Wow, talk about absentmindedness. I've noticed I keep forgetting things lately and it bothers me. I just forgot my Mom's umbrella on the bus when I came home...damn, I hope I can find it tomorrow.

Not much else to report. I have a Biology test tomorrow that I am not ready for so that's something to look forward to...

...this is the third time I've been sick. Clearly, my immune system is shot and vitamins aren't doing a damn thing. I have a sore throat and a serious cough with the usual stuffy nose and when I talk I can barely sound out the words. Yeah, so I'm angry...but I do have good news. We received our progress reports last week and I got four A's and two B's. I'm quite pleased with it at the moment but I'm up for improvement.

On another note... I don't think I ever mentioned this, but over the time they've been out, my mother has not allowed me to read the Harry Potter books. I didn't really care before but the school library has them so I started reading them and they were so good... I read all of them in the course of two weeks. They're so engaging, they just pull you in with the characters and I admit I did cry when some of them died. These are no doubt my favorite books right now and I just can't wait to get a hold of the movies. I know they're not entirely consistent with the books (what movies are?) but I still want to see them. I've been listening to the Half Blood Prince Score since yesterday and it's really nice...

I know I said I would update on the first day but things have been a bit hectic. Today was the first day I actually felt slightly comfortable. Anyway, down to business.
Most of my teachers are nice, I like my Biology teacher and World History teacher a lot. I have an exam in Politics tomorrow but I think I'm ready for it.
As for today, I was hit in the face by a volleyball and I skinned my knee. My face doesn't hurt...my arms are the one's that really hurt. Trying to hit a volleyball is quite difficult and I suck at it so far.
Oh, right now, I have two official friends and, from what I heard, one enemy. Fun.

Sorry if that seemed jumbled and rushed, I have a lot of things to do.

School starts on the 19th. I'm not going to the school I had wanted to but this other school may turn out to be a better choice. My Mom and I are going there today to pick up my schedule and buy whatever else I need to get started. Thankfully, I am no longer afraid of what to expect - the adults are really friendly and understanding.
If all goes well today, I might make an edit but I'll probably just wait until the first day for that.

School starts in a few weeks... I'm not sure whether to be excited about it or if I should dread it.
Despite this however, I am glad I will not have to endure another year of homeschooling. I need to socialize and this is the only way I can do that right now.

Other than these worries, I am doing okay. I've been organizing my life a bit, making to do lists but usually I'm too tired to carry them out... My Dad will be buying me a new bed soon though so that should take care of this problem.

I do note that this is long overdue but nothing has really happened to prompt me to write anything in here. I just check my deviations and messages and that's it. Since school ended, I've gotten extremely lazy and I just sit around and early morning is the only time I can be on the computer freely. My computer died so I've been using my Mom's. If you're wondering what happened to the other one, it starts up but never finishes and stays at a black page. I'm not sure what that is all about but at the moment I don't really care. My Dad will be sending his laptop to me eventually and I'll start again there. The one thing that pisses me off is that I had over 300 songs in my iTunes when my computer stopped. So I'll have to redo that all over again...

In other news, I haven't seen Transformers 2 yet. I decided to wait for the DVD since I heard it sucked. The score is amazing though, I can't stop listening to it.
I am looking forward to G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra though, it looks entertaining but after months of expectations and then disappointment with TF2, I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Lastly, I will try to upload more now that I'm starting to get more motivation and maybe I'll even upload some sketches. Depends.
