But for this year I'm going all out! Constructing my own pannier hoopskirt and everything! **wish me luck I suck @ sewing** I'm going to go as Empress Steffauri from my manga series Trag!c K!ngdom. I'm going to be cosplaying her using the dress from this page in the top right corner:: [link] I might make some minor alterations to it to conform to my size better but yeah! That's it!

I literally had like 30-something dress ideas from OCs I wanted to go as, but no such luck until today. >_<

She is a member of this site and has been doing OC creation and stories/fics with me for almost 5-years, now. Recently I wen to go visit her in her new college to spend the weekend hanging out together. We always bring our best sketches to show each other when we meet (because its so rare for us right now...) Okay, well she USED TO/usually DOES draw a more Japanese-centered style clothing wise. She likes her characters (all of them) in Ninja-like clothing or Japanese style robes or kimonos, while I (which u all kno) absolutely adores the court-like clothing for my OCs, hoopskirts, panniers, corsets, jewels and the like.....

....well, when I went to visit her, I was actually appalled at one of the sketches she showed me. She had too obviously made a DIRECT COPY of my most prominent OC, Princess Steffauri's light teal and blue court dress! D;> And worse yet, she actually had the nerve to: 1.)-Ask me what I thought of HER new style, and 2.)-See if I liked "her new style" better and wanted her to keep using it.... I was pissed, that's all, I was just...so...pissed.

Usually I'm a very forgiving person in such matters if the person admits what they did and actually commits to (and keeps their word) changing their styles back to their own and never stealing from anyone again. But seriously!? Just because of how she approached the matter, how she claimed my property as her own, and mostly because she is a very, very close friend to me, I did feel a little betrayed...

But, it doesn't stop there folks! Pretty much everyone on here (that I'm friends with ^^) knows that I literally make up nearly every name I use for my OCs (EX-Steffauri, Lo-Ihe, Nedomiyaen, etc.) and put a lot of time into doing that. Well, she makes up SOME (meaning very few) of her own names, and usually sticks to Japanese names. But I had a typed list of the names I've created on my comp, and she asked for a copy, promising to give me credit if she used them. She sis keep her word as far as crediting me when using my OCs and names goes, but the next time I saw my list....she had fucking altered it. She'd scribbled over some of them and put like ONE LETTER in front of or behind one of MY pre-made names and surprise! Called it hers! **One of the ones I saw: Yoseffa (mine) turned into:: Loseffay** -___-

So yeah, before anyone is too quick to judge her, she does have a lot of issues, but really, I don't honestly see her problems as such an amazingly valid excuse for stealing from one of her so called best friends... Sometimes though, I really do question if she's doing it intentionally or if she's just doing it to help expand her style, as this is not the first time it has happened, not only with me but with like two or three other people/friends of hers. But then again I don't know because the fact still remains that she claims altered versions of my style and calls them her own, and that is wrong no matter how you slice it.

So, yeah! I actually got off from work 2day *le gasp!* so me and some friends high tailed it to Miyakos *orgazms* and had an awesome time; we had to share a table with some other douches, it turns out that 2 of said douches are in my Humanities course in college lol >< When our grill-guy was trying 2 get us 2 catch shrimp in our mouths, one dove right into my cleave and the whole table laffd! XD lololol and oh yah! I made a pervy 80 year old man's day, apparrently he stared me down smiling for about 15 minutes lol D:

Then we went over to JoAnn fabrics, which in our min-complex is only a few feet from Miyakos, and I found an AWESOME pattern for the pannier hoop skirt I've been wanting to make for my Steffauri cosplay **Otakon 2010!** As well as some hoop-steel (I got nylon hooping, easier to manage and move in...) and some cute fabric. I HAD a prettier fabric, but I was literally a quarter of a yard short of what I needed *cry* but I found some that was just as nice. And better yet my total sale was liek half off! **When I start making the pannier I'll keep you all posted on this cosplay and how it builds up.** :3

After that the five of us wound up having 2 separate, as me and Meggy wanted 2 c Final Destination in 3D **btw it was pretty kewl but the ending sucked** and the others pussied out *lyke a baos!* (inside joke hahahaha) and went to c Inglorious Bastareds. After that me and Meg waited outside, our show ended at about 11:45ish, and the tards told us theirs was about 1 hr 45 min long....LIES! We waited outside with the lurking rapists for almost 2-hours. It wasn't all bad tho, we made up lame songs, took pictures and took an epic walk thru the Starbucks drive thru! **Get this, they actually served us like that!** XD

Highly reccomend all of the above, GREAT fun, awesome times! ......Back to work from 1 to 9 again tomorrow ;^;

Yeah, I only cosplayed on the first day tho, but the whole thing was a blast! But as was expected, there was a sufficient ammount of drama and bitching from our group as a whole here and there, so I was really pissed off...But the dealer's room was AMAZING! I missed the Gaia pannel tho GRRR because my phone alarm died, but I heard it was pretty sweet.

We got up at about 4 am and got to Baltimore by 6:30ish, at first we expected a shorter wait ion line, but holy CRAP! We wound up standing there for four hours! My feet are STILL killing me! D: But trust me, it was totally worth it in the end!

However, the 'sufficient drama' I mentioned before got out of hand at some points (I'm not going to use any names for these situations for anyone who really doesn't want that out here...)
On the morning of the second day, we met at one of our friends' houses, and that was the nite of the rave; everyone else in our group was 18 and over, but I had my little sister who is 15 with me. Raving isn't really my thing, but we planned to stay for it and I'd just hang somewhere else, but my mom was totally against it because of all the wierdos out that late (*lol pedo-bear lol*) so it was a no unless I didn't bring her, which was totally unfair. So the friend who was driving actually told me "Then you guys are screwed cuz I'm going no matter what..." It was her first con, but I don't give a a shit, real friends don't do that to each other, and even her fucking MOM backed her up on it! ]:< So yeah...I couldn't help but feel a little betrayed, but we eventually secured a ride home.

Personally, I think it's all fine and good to want to do things, and it's even better to get to do them, but really, she was expecting the two of us to sacrifice a lot for her, when she jumped on the bandwagon and decided to go with us literally 10-hours before we had to leave in the morning. Which fucked up our car arrangements...and I don't think she gets it, but if I was a bad friend, I could've totally fucked her over like she did me and just said "oh, sorry, there's no room left. Maybe next year..." I mean seriously, I'm no saint, but should a good friend seriously do that and think notihng of it???

The day before that tho, me, my sister, and two of our other friends were sitting against a wall in the upper level of the Con-center, our other friends ewre in the gaming room, I hate gaming and the others ewre just bored. It was about 5:30ish, and two of our friends had a photoshoot thing to go to for their cosplays which was only supposed to last half an hour. My sister was feeling sick cuz she didn't eat all day, and we were all waiting for everyone to get back. At like 5:50 we txted them and told them to hurry as we were sick of waiting. As it turns out the shoot ended, it sucked, and they went straight off to the game room and we had to wait another hour for them.

So *sigh* yep, bit of a bittersweet trip.

N e way..... The new girl's name is Judith-Moei, AKA Junie, she is Cualastota's sister, younger than her by six years, the manga is very short, and all it really focuses on is her rocky road to becoming the Empress of the Pahouran province of Ihleia. At an early age (about eight or so...) she was promised to Youhn Tovetsu, the young Emperor-to-be of his kingdom. He is about fifteen at this time.

While she should feel great pride in herself for being chosen so early, she is overcome by sadness and confusion. And Cualastota begins to question why she herself, the eldest child has not yet been chosen by anyone. Nonetheless, she helps and consoles Junie/Moei in her time of need, and helps ensure her future with the man she truly loves.

Yeah, it aired on Disney channel last nite -___- and we all know I have a love for royalty that almost borderlines fetishism lol, so I watched it (the dresses were GORGEOUS!) And aside from the fact that I don't like Demi or Selena, I think they did a fairly good job in their roles together. And the plot was actually pretty well thought out, or at least MUCH better than I'd originally expected...

'member when I told you all that I got my sweet as shit MacBook Pro 2009 for graduation? Well, I got an Adobe software bundle of all the new CS4 stuff, and I found out two days ago that I had Adobe Flash CS4, therefore, I have decided to make something fun for you guys!

....A DRESS UP GAME!

I've been working on the outfits for the past few days and I am proud to say that my game will feature *drumroll plz* ONE HUNDRED ITEMS!!!!! You heard right, I've created and already drawn out 100-clothing items for my game! And I'm still getting used to the program, so you can expect it to be posted in the next few weeks!

ABOUT THE GAME:::

1.)-Sadly, you cannot choose different characters in this game, since it's my first try, I'm focusing on one, my newer OC, Nunnally Le'Oestre (AKA-Starla) Her time period is circa 1980 in Pahoura. But I don't plan on any pix really, so this game is probably all you'll see of her. ):

2.)-I will probably be posting a picture-list of all the items included in my game, but I still have to work on the item layering for when you all play it.

3.)- Unlike most games, you cannot click a magical button that will change the color/color scheme of the pieces of clothing you want to dress Nunnally in; however, I have provided several things with at least 5 to 10-varied colors for you.

4.)- Of course you can dress Nunnally however you want in whatever you want, but for anyone who's wondering what each outfit looks like as a whole/ what goes with what I will provide a little animated flip book of the completed outfits at the bottom of the game screen.

So...yeah! Look forward to it, and i'll be trying to get it done as fast as I can! ^^

Truthfully I've been playing with this story for the longest time and now I'm actually ready to put it into action! ^^ It's called "Lemon Tart" and takes place in Pahoura circa 1958.

**Summary- In 1958, a 24-year old, uptight lady named Aèda Mömeyer- Mattingly, a Pahouran-American is assigned to look after
the seventeen year old daughter of Lord and Lady
Balksenn. Admittedly spry and snarky (despite her grave
situation) Steffauri fights Aèda at every turn and
constantly refuses to return to the family that exiled
her. But once secret feelings are unlocked, and the
truest natures of both women are revealed, their feelings
for one another begin to escalate. But, as the impending
day of Steffauri’s arranged marriage grows ever closer,
their strictly student-teacher relationship becomes
something much more. Something that could very well
put both their lives in danger.-

Yarse, so yeah...READ IT! (when I post that is) I'll probably post

N e wayz, I'm a plus sized girl, so obviously I need a plus sized dress, and I spent literally three HOURS searching online a few nights ago for a nice looking (fancy ^^) plus sized gown. I found tons that were priced at 400$ and UP! O___o the problem...they were ugly as SHIT! ;^;

And finally, (sometime the next morning >< I found the most AMAZING dress on a UK site that you order so that it's customized to fit your every curve. It cost 130-pounds, which is close to 200-dollars American, and today we ordered it, EEEE! I'm so happy! ^^

That, I REALLY don't get, because people's self-created stuff is more interesting than pictures of something famous (ie-Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc. not that I'm not in love with these series'! ^^) that you can find all over the internet.

So...my question to you guys is, why do you think my art is so unpopular? And please, don't sugar coat it, I want honest answers here ppl.

Anywho, sorry abotu the sudden halt/slow down with the 100-themes; but not to worry, ALL of the sketches are completed, the only gauntlet to overcome now is PhotoShopping them all *dies* x___x lol. Yeah...When I promised you guys I was gonna keep OCs out of the 100-themes...I totally lied XP lol, most of these are Cuaslastota or Steffauri related because they pose the most inspiration for these subjects. But yea, I'll get right back ontot what I started. But, the one thing I didn't say was when...As soon as I complete "Their Broken Requiem" my fan fic series/ gift I'll restart.

Alright, bad news b4 good news... No animeUSA 4 me, I got rehired at my job (I was on temporary leave) and now I have a LOT more hours than I used to. Otakon however I will be attending. ^3^

And now 4 the good news (lots 2 tell u) My good new friend has rekindled me and Arkham-Insanity's inspiration for our HIVE and TT fics, I'm doing one for the both of them, and it will be multichaptered; good news 4 those of u who missed those! ^3^
Lots of new pics for my 100-themes are coming up, and if I keep at a steady pace, they should all be completed by early 2009/new years.
AAAAAAAAND- One of my stories/novels may very well be getting published! XD YAY! I'll let u know as soon as I send the final edit and recieve letters back; it's called "Beyond Iron Gates" If you would like an excerpt from it send me a note ^^

After a long time of going through horrible things, having our very wellbeing threatened by his ex, and us running out of money sometimes, he's gotten very emotionally unstable, and sometimes, like tonight verbally violent.
He never meant to, but he and my mom dragged me into it, telling me I better choose a side and fast. I went outside, far from the house and talked on the phone to one of my closer confidantes.
When I got back inside, his things were packed, he told me and my sis to be good...and he left.
We all cried.
For the first time in a long time, I went into the basement, shut the door, grabbed a towel and put it to my face, and I screamed and cried until I couldn't breathe.

I definately will not be back here for awhile, as you can imagine, I need as much time to think and help my family get through this as I can, thanx.

Anywho, also for tomorrow, HUGE, and I mean HUGE deviation upload!! I found a folder and several (I own 84 o___O) sketchbooks full of old lineart, and some colored works, as well as PhotoShop WIPs.

And, since it's summer, and I now have all the time in the world, I'll be posting my stories (no fanfics, well...okay, SOME fanfics >< but mostly (99.9%) original works and I actually expect comments, because I'd like advanced critiques on some of my writing.

So, I've decided to do a gallery cleanup; NOTE!!!-FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS CRAP FROM MY SCRAPBOOK SECTION FAVORITED, SAVE THE PIC/WRITING TO YOUR COMP. PICTURES, AS IT WILL NO LONGER BE UP ON HERE!!!!! Yep, my Scrapbook part of my gallery is...well it's shit to be completely honest. ;( Plus, due to the crappiness factor of my scanner, all of the pencil-only drawings aren't visible, so they're all gonna have to go.

Don't worry tho, a FEW (I stress the word FEW) may be staying, and a FEW old ones may or may not return later (if I feel like they're good enough to be finalized.)

Anywho yes, Gallery cleanup starts TOMORROW AFTERNOON! So yea, get yer arses 2 dA and save what you want!

So my ENTIRE scraps gallery is getting deleted VERY soon! I talked to a few people about it, and I'm going to start posting it by April 1st at the latest. I'm holding off on it for awhile because my fanfic series ImpERfeCt isn't done yet, and I HATE leaving things unfinished because as I come back to them I have no desire to continue them; don't worry tho, there's only 2-chapters left until it's done! ^_^

In the Cualastota ovel, there are 30-chapters ((32-with pro and ep...)) I'll upload a few chapters a week, no set # for how many and when; but I think updates, if done as slowly as I usually do, will take anywhere from a few days to a few months.


In the meantime tho, I'll be posting more Cualastota themed pics and stuff! ♥♥♥ So keep an eye out! ^^

Her OC-Kulp, mine-Cualastota, Belkes, Chieo ((NOTE!-Chieo is actually NOT my OC, but the name is mine, it's really Gizmo, but she and I needed a real name to call him so I just started calling him that cuz he reminded me of one of my own characters who actually IS named Chieo. Phew!))

Anywho, if you're familiar with the fanfic series Love and War that we did together, you'll know ALL about the unpleasant consequences of failure and imperfection, and that's exactly what this focuses on! A.I. is working on a sequel to that fic (L&W) called 'Kulp's Curse' that I can't wait to read!
