Here's the first of what I hope will become weekly updates, letting you know what's going on in this comic artist's life. Because I know you care

This week's comic 'theme' is inspired by real life influences, and a wonderful song by Ben Folds, titled, "You Don't Know Me" (featuring Regina Spektor). I love it.

I spent Thanksgiving with my family, and had a great time. I ate until I was about to burst, destroyed everyone in movie trivia, and actually got pretty drunk (this is a first). I'm quite the crazy drunk, if I do say so myself. Very loud, talkative, and everything seems funny.

MOVIE REVIEW
Yesterday, I saw "Fantastic Mr. Fox." It was a clever little film, directed by Wes Anderson, and containing a terrific cast that is composed of George Clooney, Meryl Streep <3, Jason Schwartzman, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and William Dafoe. Great cast. And the entire film is done in stop-motion....which is ultimately really impressive. The film is based off of a children's novel by the same name (written by the guy who did James and the Giant Peach), but I wouldn't necessarily say it's a movie for kids. Sure, they can watch it...but I feel like the great majority of the themes would be over their heads. I never heard of a 12 year old who understood a joke about existentialism....in fact, I'm sure most adults wouldn't get it either. Me, I found it hilarious. I especially love the way the film handled 'bad' language...really funny, but effective. I won't give it away, but I think it's smart. All in all, it was a good film. Not great, but not bad. But not the best I've seen this year either. It's worthing watching at least once, and you might as well because there isn't a lot of good stuff out there right now at all. If you're a furry, you'll eat it up. It's right up your alley.

Respect --- This is big. Please be kind and curtious to all members of this chatroom. Disrespect will not be tolerated

Language --- Please try to refrain from using harsh, vulgar, and offensive language. A little swearing here and there is permissible, but keep it to a minimum, and respect mods if they tell you to watch your language. Also, please try to use proper English while in this room. Avoid excessive 1337 speak, and do not type in all caps.

Spam --- We don't want it, don't do it.

Role Playing --- RP is permitted. However, sexual RP is strictly forbidden. It goes against Deviant Art regulations, and as such it is not accepted in the Anthro Cafe. Take it somewhere else.

Bots --- Bots may be present in the room on occasion. They are there to assist you, and should not be taken advantage of. Do not "chat" with the bot when there are plenty of people to talk to, and do not spam the bot's commands.

If you break any of the regulations listed above, you will suffer the consequences.

First offense = warning

Each week, one member of the chat will be randomly selected to be the VIP. This person will receive a special class. They will not have any extra privileges, however...other than bragging rights, of course. At the end of the week, an new VIP will be chosen, and the old VIP will go back to their original class.

If I'm anyone but the driver, I'll usually be up against the window, trying to get a better view.

I want to say 12 hours. There were several rest stops in there, so I'm not sure if that counts or not.

Mildly, I suppose. I'll fuss over my hair a lot, and I think I'm too skinny. So, yeah...I guess it weighs on my mind.

Second: I have finally uploaded a new comic. It's a whole week and a day late, but I blame the school for not thinking ahead...they actually had the nerve to plan our finals on the week of Brawl's release. So, naturally, my time was split between gaming and studying. The good new is that I am now on spring break, so I have a lot more time to devote to the comic. On the other hand, I have a lot more time to play games as well, so we'll see how that goes. I sort of feel like I owe a comic, considering I missed last week completely, so I'm going to do my best to get an extra one out this week. (there I go making promises again...)

I hope everyone had a pleasant leap-year day, 'cause you won't seen one again for awhile. My day was enjoyable, but it was a Friday, so that helped. Now I just have to find a way to fix my watch...all day it kept telling me it way Friday, March 1st. It didn't take leap-year into account, and now it's going to be perpetually off by a day. I think I can fix that. I hope I can fix it...
