So I made a pledge to myself to stop half-assing my artwork. A lot of times I'll start very detailed and meticulous, then during the coloring/shading process get tired of it all and just rush it to the end.

So I'm going to spend the next 2 weeks on ONE painting. Hopefully my sorry excuse of an attention span will hold up

iPod Touch 16g (everyone has one except me :< )- $300
Wacom Bamboo Medium- $200

My first paycheck will be around $350~ so I can probably get that iPod if I really wanted. However the current tablet I'm using, 's small graphire has been dying lately. The sensitivity frequently disconnects and other bad things tend to happen when I use it. I'm probably going to shoot for the tablet first and just wait for the iPod, but I really really really want one of those >_>;

Using my PSP as an MP3 player is so unwieldy b/c it's fat and doesn't fit in my pockets ):

By the time I go off to USC I'll have earned $800~. That leaves me plenty of spending money for college 8D (my parents have repeatedly said that they won't give me a penny of spending money so I'll have to save for that too *looks into used tablets*)

I've been playing PSP for like at least 4 hours per day b/c I have so many new game son this 8 GB memory stick @_@;;

I need to finish designing an earthquake charity logo for a t-shirt, which I have NOT started on and is due like in a week.

Oh and I wasted last week in a driver's Ed class which is useless b/c our teacher had a tendency to ramble offtopic (about how he was a sea captain/how looney toons ruined his childhood/etc.)

Got a publishing dealio. Book is going to be called Magibles: The Lost Age.

I'm supposed to have it done by Dec 2009. They want like 305 pages, I've got 123 done atm T___T;; and I kinda ran into a writer's block. *gets out writer's block pickaxe and starts chipping it away*

So yeah. I'm not allowed to reveal too much though, although I submitted 3 new deviations with some plot info+concepts on them. I whipped them up in like 10 mins each so PLEASE excuse their EXTREME craptastic-ness.

Repicked up the FMA manga (stopped like last year due to workload and crap). Now I'm up to date ;D! Also go to episode 45 of the anime, storylien is soooo different @__@;;

Was watching Yakitate!! Japan, but the storyline got VERY boring after the Monaco cup. So I stopped at like episode 58 xP

My friend at school (You know who you are if you're reading this) lent me his old Graphire 4x5. So I've been playing around with that and getting used to the screen-mapping thing.

Now I'm not getting carpal tunnel from coloring and shading on the compy. Yayayay 8D

I feel like the quality of art I've been producing has gone up after I got the new scanner + this tablet. The funny thing is, it's not really due to either. I only use the tablet for coloring, and all my colored pictures look kinda off because I was never taught how to shade correctly (I learned cross hatching in...8th grade summer, like 4 years after I was already shading my own way by smudging the lines i drew.)

Anyways, school has been kind to me. Not too much HW despite me taking 2 AP classes. It may as well be 3 AP classes, since Physics 1A with Holmes gives like more hw than APUSH >_>;;

But Oct 6 is SAT day, and that's loooooooming over me, so I need to start cramming these last 2 weeks. I have 7 hours of SAT prep every saturday X_X. Which I feel is overkill. I start drifting off after and hour. Curse my short attention span.

Why am I always tired when I type these things? Oh right. It's 8:30 AM and I slept about 4 hours. Woot Woot.

That car ride home was really sad because I'd be leaving 4 weeks of friends and memories behind . Plus I took a nap. So I r tirededed (and depressed).

I finally got my DeviantArt account back, thanks to somebody at COSMOS who reminded me this site existed

The new layout is really confusing

Anyways, my scanner is wicked bad (everything is washed out and fuzzy ), and I have to do SAT prep and APUSH+AP Bio hw T-T

I also found out my webcam doesn't work anymore (curse you Logitech!)

I'm just feeling really lame right now, its hard to think that I probably won't see a lot of the people from COSMOS ever again. And it's pretty much certain I won't see anybody on the day-to-day basis I saw them at COSMOS (WHY DOES NOBODY GO TO GUNN?)

I'm currently uploading all the random doodles and artwork I did at COSMOS, because I know I'll eventually lose the pretty papers. Too bad I can't scan in my memory book's signatures, because I haev a scanner where it sucks things in and bends them and crap T-T

I'll go wish I had a Tablet now, bye
