Okay, so first I think an update is in order...

Well I haven't really been doing anything as far as art goes, I've been so tired recently and I can't really explain why, it's so annoying! Ah well, I guess it will get better eventually.

I found out the other day that the people who are loaning my horse - Norman - don't want him anymore and wanted me to take him back asap. I was gonna get him back which would've been really great, apart from the fact that I couldn't ride him (I'm not experienced enough to ride him yet) and I would have to pay for him (which would've been waay more money than I actually have) So it was a good thing that my mum called up my cousin Zoe and she said that she can take him straight away! She is a brilliant rider, maybe not the favourite of family members but still, at least I know that until we can have him back he is going to a good home

I had a college interview yesterday and got accepted onto my chosen course, which was a B-Tec in IT (level 3..) So that's good although I am having major doubts as to whether or not I will be able to do it succesfully.

I got a voucher for Virgin Wines a while ago in the post or something, I thought it would be a good idea to check it out so I did. In the end Matt (boyfriend) ended up spending it on a crate of wine (it has 12 bottles in it!!!) and we've just started on them this evening. The first bottle we opened is Spanish and it's very nice!! I let my mum taste a bit but she said it was a bit sharp (she obviously doesn't know what she's talking about here....) heheheheheh

Hiya everyboday!

This journal is just to let everyone know that I won't be online for a week or so, my laptop is going to be sent back to Ebuyer tomorrow. The dvd drive is dodgey as hell so they are taking it back for repairs or, if I'm lucky, replacement hehehe

Anyway, that means no art uploads for a while, no art for a while although I may do some copic work for when it comes back.

Other news - I have filled in my application form for college, I am applying for a B-Tec National Diploma in IT (Level 3) this time. It is basically a qualification equivalent to 3 A levels (just they are all specified to IT) So come two years from now I'm gonna be an IT Ninja

I also got my hair re-coloured the yesterday, I maaay put up a pic of it if I get round to taking one, and only if I get one that is good enough because usually I look really bad in pictures

Anyways, I gotta go watch the Apprentice now! The new series is so funny, I really hope Michael gets fired this time because he's such a ponsey git. (Sorry for the offensive language but he really gets on ma titties )

Hello everyone! How are you all?

I got treated today, it was such lovely weather outside that my boyfriend Matt decided to take me out to lunch - he's soooo sweet!! We went to a small little cafe in a nearby town, it was so pretty! We had baps and chocolate cake, I think it was homemade because it was very tastey hehe. There was a big dog sitting outside, it looked like it was part german shephard and part saint bernards, strange mix! We also went for a trip to Colchester to look around some shops with his son Michael, he got so many toys Also, Matt bought me 4 happy hippos so now I'm well happy because I love them sooo much
Well, it has been a good day today and I'm feeling pretty happy!

Okay, so I'm gonna create one of those annoying quizes that keep popping up in peoples journals.. mostly about PEEVES. (Peeves are things that you dislike).. I am just doing this because I feel like I have many peeves at the moment, and I wish to rant, but feel free to do this in the same way

Here goes...

1. What is your most peevey (worst) peeve?
- My most peevey peeve at the moment would be nail biting from people who KNOW that I hate it and are doing it RIGHT BESIDE ME all the TIME. (Yes I am still annoyed by this...)

2. What peeve is your favourite?
- My favourite peeve has to be when someone accidently says something that annoys me but then it turns out that they didn't mean that at all so it all ends good. Woop Woop.

3. Who is the worst PEEVER to you?
- It's actually my old friend, he reads this sometimes and he KNOWS who he is. GOD he annoys me, okay, he doesn't wash enough, he only eats sausages, bread and cheese and he just doesn't really care much about his appearance or about what other people think. PLUS he BITES HIS NAILS. Gah, no wonder we broke up. I doubt he will read this

4. What is the most peevish thing you do?
- ME? I don't do anything peevish at all, not tha I am aware of anyway... not without good intention anyway, maybe some people would find me peevish because I worry too much sometimes...

5. Peeviest Song?
- That's easy, actually I have a few because I can't make up my mind. First is that bloody annoying song...dunno what it's called but it's a dance song and it has that "E's are good E's are good..." I know the song well just dunno what it's called Secondly would be that Crazy Frog tune and I KNOW I am not alone with that Thirdly is that Leona Loo..whatever her name is and her "KEEP BLEEDING KEEP KEEEEP BLEEDING IN LOOVE" omg I wish she would just hurry up and BLLEEEDDD to death. Fourth (I shall put a fourth ) IS dun duh dun DUuUH - That fuckin Las Ketchup or whatever it is song. Do I need to do further description? Oh it's just crap. It's SO crap, it is really awful. There we go, you should know what song I am on about now.

I feel so much better now! Oh and I have been doing some art with my tablet, so no worries about that! I just have been having some problems with it not working properly over the last few days but I think I got the problem sorted so I shall get back to work!

Okay, it hasn't really been a shit day, not all of it. But the last few moments of it have been shit, very shit indeed.

So why am I in this foul-arse mood? Well...

I have been trying to do some family research for aaaages now. My family are Irish on my mother's side and Gianese on my father's side, making them both very hard to trace. I thought I would start with my mother's side as it seemed like it would be the easier to find out about. However, I soon found out that the Irish govournment are a load of dickheads and that they decided to destroy any census records they had for some stupid reasons I don't even know, so basically all the records of my family history has been erased and is now impossible to get a hold of. Okay, so I got in touch with one of my mum's cousins who I found through an ancestry website, he had been studying the family history for around 7 years or something, so yeah he has some info that I don't have, something to go on! Ace. So my mum goes to see him for some family reunion the other day, I couldn't go because at the time I thought I was gonna be in college, plus I had an important dentist appointment to go to. So yeah, my mum went instead. She met this cousin of hers and when she came back she said that he had given her all of this information that he had gathered over the years to give to me, fantastic I thought. So, it has beena round two days since she got back and I have been waiting patiently for her to give it to me (I have been trying to get this information for months now), so I asked her for it tonight. She said it was over here, then it was over there, but oh wait...hang on, she's...no she hasn't...oh my god she has, she's only gone and lost it

Okay so that is why I am pissed off, I have waited for months for this information as I can't find any other leads what-so-ever to go on and the only lead I get has probably been put out with the recycling! OH MY BLOODY GOD.

But, apart from that, you may have noticed that I have finally uploaded a new piece of art, and I am actually fairly pleased with how it came out this time. Makes a change.

Anyway, I hope everyone is still doing well, sorry for this rant and ramble I hope I didn't bore you too much!!

Well, I finally got my graphics tablet! It's realllly cool.

So here it is, my views on this awesome piece of equipment and why YOU should get one

1. The pen pressure is very sensitive, but it's so efficient.
2. The Airbrush works brilliantly
3. It is amazingly precise, goes beyond anything I imagined!
4. Did cost a bit but is it that much for something so awesome, really?
5. It looks so sleek and sexy, and it is very thin and light, super duper

Oh yeah, in the end (I should mention this hehe) I decided to go for the Intuos3 Special Edition A4 size graphics tablet (the special edition is black and comes with the airbrush pen) It was only slightly more expensive than the normal Intuos3 A4 so I thought why not? Treat myself!

Once again I am so sorry that I have not been around on DeviantART for a while. I left college last week because I missed so much work due to my ill health, catching up looked impossible so they suggested I restart the course in September, which I will do. Until then I am looking for a job!

Well, today is my birthday, I turn 19.

Most people have more or less forgotten about it, including me. I had a birthday lunch on Sunday but most of the people there didn't even talk to me at all so... my boyfriend gave me £140 towards my graphics tablet he's lovely, and my mum got me my car tax for a year (which is something like £120), she is also arranging for me to go horse riding today for the first time in aaaages. My dad got me a laptop sleeve, and a bag... a brown bag. Woot. I got one card in the post today from my aunti margeret, she got my a topshop voucher for £25... I've never been in topshop i don't think.

Well, what a fab day.

Okay, so next up..

Today I went to London to visit Brompton Hospital, this is for a check up thingy with my surgeon who did my heart procedure in February. Whilst doing the procedure they noticed another strange arythmia in my heart so they had decided to check it out. I did a 24 hour ECG and took it back today. Unfortunately the ECG was clear (this is unfortunate because I wanted them to find out what was wrong XD) Sooo I got sent home today with no answers, and more tests in the pipeline, oh joy. This time I will have to do a 2 week ECG (which means I will have wires attatched to me for 2 whole weeks omg ) hopefully something will show up on there that can be of use to the doctors and they will finally find out what is wrong. On the other hand it won't show anything and all of this is just a result of them bruising my heart (which VERY rarely happens in the kind of procedure I had) woosh! So yeah that's the low-down of THAT

And maybe a quick rant here...

Things are really pissing me off at the moment, I have started drawing again but it is going painfully slow. I have to rub everything out about 2041595825 times before I am at least a little bit happy with it, and even then I'm still not happy with it like I want to be. I should just trace other people's drawings and say it is my own but then I will probably get better with practice...right!?

Okay, so I know it is boring to read stupendously long journals and I shall end mine here as it is boring me Plus I am in pain with some kinda weird jaw disorder that nobody knows what it is

Helloo again! So sorry that I have been away for a long time yet AGAIN

So, where have I been this time? And what have I been up to? If you care to know, read on, if not then you had better run as I am coming for you

Well, I've been pretty ill actually, I had my second heart operation on the 22nd Feb 2008 (woohoo!) and it sorta went succesfully, but when I went for my checkup they said that they had found something else wrong with my heart. The problem is that they don't know what the new problem is yet, I got tests coming up! I should hopefully find out the results next Wednesday (26th March 2008) fingers crossed I'm alright!

So that's why I haven't been here a lot. Lots of unwellness. I haven't done any art, not even a sketch, for months now. It's a bit annoying and I really want to get back into it - if anyone knows of any contests please let me know and I am eager to start my art again and need something to get excited about! A contest might just be the thing that I need

So what have I been up to? Not a lot to be honest. I'm with my new boyfriend Matt - I'm not sure if I mentioned that last time I wrote or not, we have been going out for around 6 or 7 months now. That's all goood, I got a new laptop the other week (I'm on it now ) so hopefully the artwork should become more frequent with that as well. I need to get a graphics tablet though, I swear that if I get a wacom then I WILL do so much more art and it will RULE!

It will be my Birthday on the 1st April, 19 years old woo, I feel so old

Okay so a few things to rant about...read if you wanna know where i've been and what i've been up to the past week or so....

First up I want to say HIIIIIII to everyone on here and that i luff you all SO much so to all of yas

Secondly, lol, it's my cat. Okay so we're all aware that one of my cats (Zim) sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago. I miss him so much Well here's a good story. Going back in time about 3 years or so, my other cat (Meeko) had kittens. We kept one of these kittens and called him Smokey. We didn't get him snipped and chipped because we didn't have the money at the time. Just when Smokey turned a year and a bit old he disappeared. We didn't know where he was for a year and half... and suddenly just the other day he walks in the door and cries out for dinner! He has certainly grown a lot and is looking very well, so maybe someone else has been feeding him all this time. I took him to the vets and got him some vaccinations and wormed him (cost me £50! ) and i also got him a collar with a little tube that contains a piece of paper with my name, address and telephone number (just in case he runs off again) So, I kept him in for a few days to settle him back in. Today I let him out, he wandered up the garden and sniffed around, then he jumped the next door neighbor's fence and i havnt seen him since. So he might come back home and he might not, at least now i know that he is safe and well and he still remembers us! (as well he should, i had to dropper feed him when he was little!!!)

So that's what's been happening the past couple of days.

Thirdly, It's my MINI! Muffin-Top (who is male lol) Well i finally got the exhaust fixed today for a bit more of a price than i thought it would be... but still it's fixed now. However, on the way home the other day one of my wing mirrors fell off, and i'm really struggling to find another one that will fit on the brackets that are already there! and whats more the brakes (both foot brakes and the hand brake) need fixing! so at the moment it's illegal to drive and it's a bit of a death trap lol i gotta be really careful now! but being able to drive at my own leisure is great, i'm really enjoying it and muffin-top is awesome to drive

Well that's about all that's been happening really. I can't do any art at the moment, just thinking about it really pisses me off (do you ever get that?) Hello everyone and everybody!

Yesterday...no wait...the day BEFORE yesterday (27th of March) I Passed my Driving Test WOOOOOOOHOOO!! so now that's outta the way, i figured i better get a car hah...

So this is what I did...I went on ebay, found this little old purple Mini Mayfair [link] and bought it XD so i once again own a mini.....hopefully this one wont break down need to think of a name for it, but not sure if it's a he or a she yet... It will arrive tomorrow at 10am YAAAY!

So other news, it is my 18th birthday on Sunday! (1st of April...yeh i know April fool XD) I'll be away at my Dad's for the weekend so i won't be able to drive my mini until next week ^_^ so cheers to everyone!

okay so onto other news, i triiied to draw something today for the first time for aaages now but my mind keeps going blank, so nothing came out on paper unfortunately (or fortunately, depends how you like my shizzle ) i think it could just be because i'm tired at the moment, my sleep has been knocked out since i started those stupid driving lessons AND i had a fight with my mum today which didn't help, okay i gotta have a bitch right here, if you're not interested then skip the next paragraph XD

Okay, so mum and myself were at the cashpoint down the end of the road, now i dont talk to her much at the moment cos for some reason she is CRANKY. So anyway, she was punching the buttons on the cash machine before it was ready to take her pin number (you could tell cos it said so on the screen) so i said (and this is ALL i said and with NO attitude i SWEAR) "you gotta wait a sec otherwise it wont work" and she shouted "DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!!" and i was like "WHA-?!?! what the hell did i do!?!" and then she started having a go a me for it, and apparently im telling her what to do...does it seem that way to you??? WHY does she have to take eeeverything that goes wrong with her out on ME?! so shes ar work now, and she should be home any minute and im just gonna totally FLIP if she so much as gives me a funny look... haah...

Okay that's much better now, thanks...for reading/not reading/letting me bitch oh wonderful deviantartness.

So yah hopefully (when im not so stressed) i will get some art work done and post it up...

I am going back to hospital! In 2003 i had a heart operation to stop me from having palpatations (when your heart beats at around 160bpm+ for over half an hour lol) and since then i hadn't had anymore, until last week, i had one that lasted for an hour. So I have been refered back to a cardiologist and i might need the same operation again if it keeps up, early days yet though so if i disappear randomly you know where i might be

I found out a couple of days ago that one of my friends from where I used to live died of a heart disease. They had his funeral and nobody told me, so i couldn't go... guess im kinda pissed off about that...

Although we knew he had heart problems we didn't know that he would die so soon.. so it's a bit of a shock, i just wanted to right something to show that i care. James was my friend and my best friend's boyfriend. May he rest in peace...

I havn't got upset about it, and i won't cos there's no point, it doesnt help. I will just carry on like usual so no need to worry none folks just felt like sharing some feelings for a change!

I'm currently trying to get my hands on some software that should make life a bit easier when creating smooth linearts XD (im really bad at making my linearts any good without using the damn pen tool in photoshop >.< anyway I think I just broke the computer mega time XD So i shall leave now muahahaha!
