Hi Guys! My computer's is still DEAD.. So I guess I'll have to wait until next year/week to try and get it back. Luckily ~Cklaighe's PC is here at my place to the rescue that's why I managed to post something new

Christmas came and gone just like a piece of paper that flew past me in an instant. It wasn't as celebrated as it was before. The weather was quite warm considering it was December.. Must be global warming... Today, I was supposed to go with my fellow officemates at IAS to Laguna for some RnR but failed to do so because of a certain situation that suddenly came up the night before. It was resolved a while ago but then it was too late for me to catch up to the trip since I have no idea on how to get to the vacation destination.. OTL I ended up staying home, cleaning the household and going to church that night later.

My Sister finally came back for vacation here from her work in Dublin a Few hours ago, but she will be spending the night in her In-Laws' place to sleep and try to shake off jet lag. Things'll be shaken up again once she comes by here tomorrow.

I'm currently trying/struggling to get my Art juices back up since October and I'm rarely and barely coming up with new stuff. I really seriously hope I can get it back coz' it's really starting to damage my Identity as an Artist..

Well, That's it for now. I guess I'll be updating this again one I get the time....

Hi! Pc's Still dead.. It Might really take until next year before it gets back to home for some action. But I guess with some turn of events.. I found a way to serve you guys despite this tight squeeze. A friend of mine offered to have my linearts scanned and have 'em cleaned at their place

As stated in the Previous Poll... I'll only charge $8 for linearts

You can ask for Character, Creature, Item and even Mecha designs and stuff

Single Character per sketch.

I guess I can accomodate 10 slots for this one. It's also a good way to heat up my creative juices again to get ready for 2010

In other news. My prayers go for another boxer, Z Gorrez who suddenly collapsed shortly after savoring his victory after the match. During the Last round of the fight, He was knocked down by a shot to the head, with his strong spirit, he rose back, defeated his adversary and came victorious. He was quickly rushed to the hospital and underwent brain surgery to remove blood clotting in his brain (Brain Hemorrhage). He's currently under tight watch in a hospital in Las Vegas.

God Bless these two brave souls and protect them from harm.

I've lost practice for quite some time which is a very bad thing. I can't seem to get my Art Mojo up and running, maybe it was because of the failure that was issue 3.... With that in mind, I decided not to release Issue 4 and 5 anytime soon.. BUT. I'll be fixing a lot of fail from my previous releases, follow the same script, redraw a lot of parts from issue 1-3 then continue with 4 and 5 as a single compiled release... but right now, I'm still trying hard to sync with this current routine I have... I really hope I can get to practice again... I'm just so distracted these past few weeks... again I'm very sorry to the people who are expecting stuff from me and yes to some of my clients here in DA...

booth met some new faces and old ones too

Didn't expect to see an old classmate of mine to participate in the event as a co-exhibitor

The event had a lot of things going on... They had the Indie comic alley that showcased local talents showing their tlents through their independent comic books.

There, also met majority of my former colleagues during the Neocomics days

and others who's accounts I can't seem to find

Anyways.. I got some copies of various artists and I'm quite impressed at how skilled and talented the peeps are (damn I'm sounding too old Orz) Went around to hear bands perform, saw some more artworks.. then went back to the booth. The event also had a lotta steal deals with toys and other cool stuff. I ended up getting myself this baby

[link] I got so excited I went home after the event and built the Base Body to display on the event during the second day

gave me a good slapping for not sleeping early for the kit

Back to day one... The place was not as crowded as usual which was kind of a breather since having an overly jam packed venue can be suffocating

It was around 8PM and MetroComicCon had to Close it's doors to prepare for Day TWO..Me and some of the

core peeps went down to the foodcourt for some grub and since It was nearing that day again... I decided to give the guys a little treat

I'm thankful to them for being always there for me. You guys know who you are!

DAY TWO....

I finally finished the Base Body f the friggin' Kit I mentioned earlier and it was really nice

This time, I got

to tag along for the event. We arrived there around 1pm and it was quite busier this time with a lot of Cosplayers and our company booth IAS MANILA released our first Indie compilations project.. Kenkoy Joint!

It showcases artworks of all of us IAS employees and friends

It's a pretty steal deal for a mere 50 bucks

I even had to turn down a project (sorry Mr. Blackcat

) I just had to take a break from it all. Just in time

and her family had plans on going to their Provice for a weekend to have their annual Family reunion and she offered to let me tag along. Wanting to take time out, being so curious of their Provice and of course wanting some quality time with her, I just had to accept and join the ride

Traveling there took around 6 hours. It was tiring but also very worth it

During the Event I was introduce to her other relative that I haven't met and saw her Grandfather who was around 90+ and still kickin', afterwards we spent the night on one of her aunt's beach resort. The morning later, around 5am we took a bath on the seaside

The air was chillingly cold but the seawater somewhat warmed us up.

It was the first time I went bathing in the sea after over 10 years.. (seriously) But it was the first time in my life to actually fishes, crabs and sea urchins close to the shore

It was amazingly beautiful. Later that day, we went to the rural side of La Union. damn, again I was in awe, seeing all the nature spread around me. The Folks were very nice there and I really feel welcomed. Later that day we had to pack up and return to Manila, the way back home took a bit longer and it was raining. I was really thankful to ~Cklaighe for giving me a nice vacation and some time to spend with her

So, Monday came and it was back to work. I was feeling a bit more refreshed.

Again the weekend came and we were to have a meet up with

. ~pandamangaugau, ~Cklaighe and I got there a bit late and the meeting was already starting. There we met my former officemate and good friend

and a lot of new faces including the new officers of CFAD-illust. :iconisla-maia: ( who single-handedly manages the =philippines account) wasn't quite what I thought she was but she is quite a very nice person

We learned about certain things about the art industry here and how local artists are getting explpoited despite having signed a law protecting artists. after the meet, we took our separate ways, I have to apologize to the other deviants, If I wasn't very much of help in accomodating you guys that day.

Well, after having said all my past encounters and stuff, I was finally able to start working on Crimson Dusk Issue 3

I'm not sure if it wil lmake it in time for Manila Comiccon in our exhibitor's Booth but, At least It'll be there on future events. Seeing so many great things Inspired and snapped me out off my art block and finally found the eagerness to further improve my work

(I'm on fire!!!! ) So Wish me luck

and I Just watched TransformersÂ Revenge of the Fallen a couple of hours ago. Thanks a lot to ~Cklaighe for the VIP premier ticket.

Well, it was EPIC, showcasing one of best robot to Robot Fight scenes to date

It sorta kinda (roflmaorz) had a G.I. Joe-ish feel at the earlier parts maybe from all the acrobatics and stuff. Optimus Prime kicked some damn ass and MegaTron was EPIC FAIL..... I was kind of shocked, it was like history repeating itself at one part. but it ended ok. I can't spill much details but I assure you, It's WAY MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST MOVIE. Definitely a must see.

With this down I guess I can leave you with some words to expect in the movie...

I've been doing a helluvalotta freelance work lately and dang I'm still not done

Well, It's sorta kinda good news for me despite the tiring schedule... I was called back to work a while ago to work night shift.. (WOOHOO!!! '''OTL) And will come back later for Mid Shift.. It may only be temporary but hopefully it's a sign that things are getting back on track

In Other News Gundam 00 season 2 came to a close yesterday afternoon and I have to say it was an Epic series.. screw the people who hate eat because of the overpowered mechs, The story is what made the series great

Watch it and you be the judge.

At the end of the last episode, the series was also able to announce that there WILL BE A MOVIE TO FOLLOW in 2010

so there's another thing to look forward to

I just sometimes want to strangle some people at home for being so negligent and undisciplined. I kinda got Pissed when I noticed our water Bill was TWICE (literally) as expensive as last month's bill.. I had to pay 2 months worth of water in a single month.. SHEESH! Another case was the Electric Bill... From the usual 3200+, it Jumped to 4100 This month which really made me wonder "how the hell can they consume this much?! don't they know that it's hard enough earn money just to pay off these house bills?" Danm, I just really wish the people in my place would grow up and try showing some concern to those actually working their asses of for the sake of their survival.. -_-
