Also I was on a oekaki last night (not oekaki central, because it hates me and won't let me make an account...I try but it never sends a confirmation e-mail....but oh well)
So anyways I draw on my tablet for the second time since I got it, and I'm like "Oh my god this is so hard xD" plus I haven't used an oekaki for probably.....a good three years or so. So anyways, I finished (might upload it here, I dunno, it kinda sucks and it reminds me of my old crappy oekaki work ahah) and so I submitted it for critiquing. I was extremely happy to hear this as my critique:
"Since you just got your tablet, it's best to practice with it for at least a couple of months, to get a good feel for it.

The anatomy is pretty good; you seem to understand basic proportions. However the shading is flat, and that's where, imo, you're the weakest in.

I think you should practice for a while. You have a lot of potential and I'd like to see you again after a few months of practice. "
So that made me really happy. I'm glad to hear its only shading that needs work! (and look, no comment on my crappy background either 8D)

So they gave me a link to good shading techniques, but if anyone else has any they'd like to share, please do! I obviously need to practice it! Thanks~

I wanted to mention my beautiful tablet. <3
So, like last time I was supposed to go see my mom for my birthday but the roads were crap. So my mom mailed me my present. BUT! I learned my whole family went together to get my tabby <3 Mom, Dad, Louise, Randy, Erin, Jc, and Kristen. (Well not my whole family, but everyone but my brother haha he's poor too)
So thank you everyone who went together to get me this awesome present!! Love you all!!!

Winter hates me and I hate winter.

There was a huge blizzard/snowstorm last night, and thankfully me and my sister were at my uncles. But today we were going to go to the store so we could make cookies, because we had no eggs, and we got stuck in the snow. Thankfully someone came by and pulled us out. But then we noticed something, My car had a huge dent in it and the front headlight (the other one, not the one that broke last week) was now broken. So after spazzing, we tried to figure out what hit my car to leave such a weird dent and break the headlight. It couldnt have been a car, because that side that was hit was facing a fence, and because of the fence, I didn't think that anything could have flown towards it in the storm, but alas, something did, and theres some more stuff I need to pay for. Like really....first winter in the city and I got into two accidents Dx
Well, not technically, I really only got into an accident once, but my car has been hit twice in really a week. From last friday to today, just over a week and I got hit twice. FAAWWWWKKK I HATE WINTER

So we are baking cookies right now because we borrowed eggs from the neighbors, but I'd really like to know what hit my car and make it pay for damages....D< I really need to get out of Canada

"Pfff, a little snow isn't going to stop me" said I. Well, I sure learned my lesson. I drove home from school and picked up the cat to take to my uncles so they can babysit him while we are gone. I got home safe, then I was on my way to my uncles. So I drive down the street, and some guy comes up to my car and is all "Hey you better turn around, its a curling rink up here, and you are just a rock." So I'm like "oh crap, alright, I'll turn around." So I go and turn around, and while attempting to turn, my car looses grip and I go sliding....towards the major road. So I'm freaking out, thinking I'm going to slide into oncoming traffic, but thankfully I hit the curb and I stopped. So I stayed against the curb, and called Krissy, letting her know there was no way we were leaving Calgary today. While on the phone with her another van slid on the road too and slammed into the side of my car and smashed my side mirror off. So I screamed on the phone, freaked Kristen out, then the lady in the van came up to my window freaking out. So I'm like "I know, I know. This road is sooooo slippery". So me and this lady try directing traffic away from our side of the street, because it was sheer ice. So, and hour and some later Krissy gets there (she had to walk all the way from Kensington (which is around 30 blocks, by the way)) and she runs up to me (almost falls) and I start sobbing at her. So she walked up the street to tell oncoming vehicles to turn around, because it was not safe to be in that area. She did that for probably a good hour, and did awesome at it. There were the occasional vehicle that came down the road because they insisted that "they had Four-wheel drive and that they were superman". Yeah well guess what? The van that hit me also had four wheel drive. So eventually, some guy in a truck comes barreling down the road, I'm freaking out trying to tell him to slow down and drive to the left so he doesn't skid into my car, and he goes and pulls up beside my car and gives me like "Sup? You stuck?" So he apparently had some super wheels. (My sister later told me she encountered him at the other end of the road, and he's all "you can't tell me what to do!" and drives off)It was just some weird random truck...like, not like a dodge, or something like that...it was like...a safari truck almost lol
So he goes and grabs some weird rope out of the back of his weird truck, and pulls a car that was stuck the street. So he's like "which vehicle needs out the most?" So I point at the blue car that was stuck on the corner of the road I was on, and the corner of the major road. So he's like "Okay, I need to go save my wife from work, and I'll be back." So he drove off. So long story shorter, he came back, realized that my car was in the way of getting the blue car out (oh yeah, forgot to mention I got hit by a second vehicle, who then after getting unstuck, drove away without giving me any insurance...I got your lisence plate number, you douche) so anyways, a bunch of guys had come out of somewhere, and were helping pushing cars up the major road, helping them stop, helping them steer into the side of the road etc, so the weird truck guy rallies the guys together, and helps push my car into the parking lot that was right behind me, so thats where my car is now. Thankfully, it was only a block away from my home, so we unloaded my car of our suitcases, and walked home. Phew. Thats all for todays adventure, and another near death experience for me.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, that I was outside for three hours, while it was snowing massively. I'm freezing cold.

She calls and it all "Hey, can you come help me bring stuff in from the car" so I'm like yeah sure, no problem. So I run outside and she's like "Just grab the stuff from the front seat. So I go and open the door, and theres a kennel in the front seat. I'm like "Haha, whats with the kennel?" thinking, why did my sister bring the kennel? Couldn't she have found something else to pack her stuff in? So my sister doesn't answer me so I just look at her and go "....whats in the kennel?" and she just smiles. So I bend down and peek in the kennel and little black kitty pokes his nose out at me. I squealed. lol
He's a black secret tabby (all black, with little grey stripes on him if you look in the right light) with a white nose and mouth, and while underbelly and white paws. We have yet to pick a name for him though...

On another note, I'm sick as a dog. I almost threw up again today...haha I'm sure you all wanted to know that. Ugh, I hate being sick. I couldn't fall asleep last night until like 6am, so I only got 2 hours of sleep before I had to get to school. Ugh. Not fun.

To say the least, it definately not as good as the real Otafest, or Animethon...

And I'm like "Oh there my bus!!" so I wave it down because I'm stuck at the lights on the other side of the street. I see it pull over and stop. I'm like "Yes!" so I run across the street when the little walk symbol goes, I run over to the bus...almost there....almost at the door....and the bus leaves. like. W.T.F. Just leaves. So I go running after it waving, and it just keeps going. ...STFU BUS DRIVER So I go and sit on the bench. Let me remind you how cold it is, and I'm in a thin material skirt. I waited half an hour for the next bus to come. Sure sure, I could have walked home. I could have walked the 20 blocks I needed to go to get home...Sure.....but I didn't. Instead, I shouted, cursed, cried, then sang on the bench. -huff-

I had a lot of fun making my Snubbull cosplay costume (which I still need to take pictures of...) so I was trying to think of some new costumes I could wear....Anybody have any ideas? You've all seen my face now, so what do you think I could pull off? I'll still do my Daisy cosplay, but I just want some more ideas in case Brielle can't make it to a convention (you can't just be daisy without a peach lol)

Just got back from muh daddy's house <3

So it was pretty fun. We watched some scary movies, ate some candy, handed out some candy, and then played Pokemon xDD

Me, *Manamaraya and *Badjoojoo had a pretty epic trip down to Brooks and back home. We listened to Mandy's epic music on the way down, and Sean's game music on the way back home. We danced like crazy in the car, Mandy hand-fed me fries, and Sean sang awesomeness. It was really grand. We also saw a rainbow shoot out from the top of my car's shadow....We rode in a FABULOUS car. Indeed.

Anyways...thats all for updates for NAO I suppose. Kiriban is still coming up I see....excellent....

So I just came back from watching The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. It was so amazing ^.^ Thats like my ultimate favorite movie. If you've never seen it before, I suggest watching it in theatres in 3D. Its jsut great <3

I've also discovered why I like perverts and badguys now too xDD
I first watched Nightmare before christmas when I was 6 or 7, and Oogie Boogie was my favorite character for some strange reason. I just loved him. He's a badguy. Also, when Sally tries to intervene, Oogie is all "oooohhhhh! Look at those nice legs!!" He's a pervert.

Thus, this is why I like perverts and badguys, because I liked Oogie as a child.....The end.

Kay, well my newest poll was asking if I should draw all 400+ pokemon. Three people said they didn't care, and four people said they'd love it. SO. I'll probably draw them, just for my own pleasure, because three out of seven said they don't care. Um....is there anyone that is totally against this? Ipod number two that went through the wash

Ipod number one survived....but after I took it apart and almost demolished it xD it only works on the iPod speaker things now...I accidentally ripped out the headphone jack and the circular touchpad doesn't work, but it plays on that iPod speaker thing now.

I'm not gonna take apart this iPod, but I put it in a container of rice, so hopefully all the water comes out, and it'll work again....

WHY DO I HAVE THE WORST LUCK WITH IPODS?? srsly......D<

Okay....my mouth just about burst into flames there....

I really can't stand spicy foods at all, like, mild salsa is too hot for me sometimes. Anyways, so my mom gave us some nacho's she got from somewhere, so we are eating them now, and there's something in them that is SUPER spicy. Even Kristen (who loves spicy food) said it was too spicy. So my mouth nearly burst into flames. I probably just chugged like a litre of milk. My lips are still tingling......-shivers- I hate spicy food....

So if any of you have seen Bring it On (the first one, the only good one)
You know when they went to the tournament, and the team right before them did the exact same routine that they did? Yeah, that happened to me today.

In COMM class, we had to pick a topic under Logical Fallacy, and my group chose non-sequitur. Example is like
"All men are human. All women are human. Therefore all women are men."
Thats non-sequitur.

Anyways, so me and my partner had it all set up, it was supposed to be a three minute presentation, and we had it set to two and a half minutes so that if people had questions, we had time. So anyways, we were to go fifth today, and the group RIGHT before ours, had the exact same topic, and they used the exact same examples as us. So we were like ".........ffffffff"
So we go up and stand there awkwardly and were like ".....hi.....we did the same topic.....here's our take on it." and off we went. Like....D:<
So our presentation was only like, a minute and a half because all of our examples were taken.

probably the scariest day I've ever had.

So first off, this morning we buy me some rubber gloves to clean up the dead mouse we found in our mouse trap. We ended up just throwing out the whole trap because I lifted up the little metal prong thing and the mouse was stuck to it. Ew.

SO then, tonight we went and saw Paranormal Activity. Its a new movie that just came out, and was supposedly the "scariest movie in the world"

Well, if you know me, then you know I have yet to be scared by a movie. Like, I've seen every horror movie I can and nothing has scared me.

This movie, as you've probably guessed, scared the crap out of me. Like, the beginning was pretty silly and like "lol what?" but towards the end it just gets scarier and scarier. I went and saw it with my sister and roomie, and all three of us are like "How can you get that scared from just a movie?"
We all walked out of the theatre shivering. Me and my sister actualy started crying at one point xDD Everyone in the theatre screamed at least at one point.I honestly do not think a single person walked out of that theatre thinking "Well that movie wasn't scary"

Like seriously. (not to be rascist) but my sister was sitting beside this great big buff black guy, who was being all macho, and my sister said that he let out a scream at one point and was liike "WHOA! Oh shi...." after like every loud noise x3

So yeah, if you ever want to get scared out of your mind, go see Paranormal Activity at midnight, or even just 10:15, which is when we went xDD

But really....I'm acutally quite scared now....not scared scared, just....really freaked out....well....time to watch Year One now so I don't have nightmares xDD I'll be so tired tomorrow for school but I'd rather get 4 hours of sleep then none due to being severely freaked out.


Oh yeah, and I also had to take another mouse out of a trap after the movie....so that'd why today is the scariest day this year.

So today in Calgary, there was a Zombie Walk. Its a long walk downtown where a bunch of people dress up as zombies, and roam the streets. They smear fake blood all over windows, and chase people. It sounded reallly fun. So me, *Manamaraya, ~Kweibs and my little cousin all went downtown to try and find them.

With out luck, we found no zombies roaming the street. So we walked around for an hour, then we drove around for another hour, and finally found them at their end point, where they were all done walking and were going home. So we missed the walk this year. But next year we'll probably participate in it. Weee~

on another note, I'm assuming that "new character" won my poll.

And my sister and roomie wanted me to make them. So I drew my sister and my roomie last night. It turned out pretty good, I think. So once I color them I'll post them on here, of course. So yeah. Take that everyone! I'll make a new poll once I think of a new one.

So I got dubbed official dead mouse gatherer. Wewt. I blame like lack of skill in rock paper scissor. Even though we didn't play rock paper scissors. It was just :

So then Kristen proceeded to grab the Master Sword placed in front of our Hyrulian Sheild and she dubbed me official dead mouse gatherer with it.

So I'm making them buy me rubber gloves and probably one of those radio active body suits. One that looks like either Dr. Horrible's outfit or the Repo man's outfit. Then I won't mind gathering dead mice. Anyways, we caught one last night. We are hoping that there's only one in the entire house, and we caught it. But chances are there's more than one. So, me and my sister went to go give our roomie Jared a cupcake last night, so we went downstairs, and when I got close to the bottom of the stairs I heard a weird 'thunk' and we both looked down the stairs, and I thought I saw something rolling down the stairs...but once it hit the floor it...kept rolling...like...it should've stopped. So I just stared at my sister, and we both gave each other that "what the hell was that" look. So I squint into the dark basement and see something sitting in the corner of the room beside the curtain. So we stare, and it moves. Then we both scream, realizing its a mouse. So we scream and call for Jared, but he couldn't hear us in his room, so I had to go downstairs to his room. So I slowly crept past where the mouse was and into Jared's room where we tell him we found our house ghost. (weird things had been happening in the house and we assumed it was a ghost, which some things may have been, but some things we discovered were definately the mouse)
So anyways, we all come out and stare at the curtain, then Jared shook the curtain and out come the mouse, and my and Kristen screamed again.

And we were both like, shivering in fear xD I never thought I was afraid of mice because I'd watch my cat devour them whole. But this was different. There was no cat to catch the mouse, and it was a baby, meaning there may be more mice in our house. So we got all freaked out, and me and Kristen slept in the same room, because we were scared that there might be mice in my sisters room, because thats where Jared said he kept hearing them. So Jared said he's going to get mouse traps today, and PLEASE do not go all vegetarian on me and say "mousetraps kill mice and are cruel murderous items!"
Yeah I know. We want to kill the mice before they chew out our floorboards and cause us to fall through them and possibly die. I also heard that mouse poo is toxic. Or something. So we want them out. And outside won't work, because they'll just come back in. So they need to die. Sorry, mice, but thats the truth.

Kay so, in my COMM class, I've sat in the same seat for the whole three or four weeks that we've been her ein school. And today (right now) I walk into the class and one of the kids in my class is sitting in my seat. So I'm like "Uh....You're in my seat..." and he's like "Haha, there's no such things as spots" And so I'm like "You ass get out of my spot! At least move over or something." but he didn't. What happened to chivalry? Yeah I understand this is college and there's no "assigned spots" but when I've been sitting in that spot all semester, I ocnsider that my spot. So thus, I hate men. I hate unchivalrous men. So here sitting in the front row all by myself because my spot was taken, and my row has all my buddies. And its there spots, so they obviously won't move. So now I'm all alone....jerk....I'm so cranky now. And do not tell me I'm over reacting!!! I know I am and it just upset me because its my spot, and he was rude and didn't give it to me. What kind of man is rude to a woman? Jerk.
