I got my camera cleaned, so Herman (the worm) is finally gone.
Theres still a little speck but I think I may be able to get that off myself.
Luckily we went to a bigish city, (Richmond, VA) haha. To see a play, (which sucked) but we went to a camera shop and they cleaned it for free... just not all of it, but at least Herman is gone!

I wrote a rant about the play, since it sucked so much. The play was called Jesus Christ Super Star, some of you may have heard of the old orignal, some may not. Either way, the play was badddd.
I'm not sure whether to submit the rant, it's pretty funny, but its a little... contreversy.


I took quite a few FILM pictures in Richmond, since my digital was being cleaned, black and white, and color. Need to get them delevoped but that's next. Haha

Sorry for being so, dead for the past two weeks. I was grounded, and I'm lucky enough I got my phone and laptop back so soon. I was in a lot of trouble, but I am back now. :]

Not as many updates as I should have had, over the process of being grounded for two weeks I only took 64 pictures. Hahaha, but then again, I didn't leave my house unless I was going to work. So I was lucky to take a few on my birthday.

Which was 6/9. I'm Sixteen now believe it or not. I don't feel any different, expect a little more sore, since I got two piercings for my birthday and there a little sensitive. I got two cartilage piercings, haha. Which makes eight total.


A weekend coming up, I'm going to a concert with this Jazz band my mom and I love, which we discovered on our South Carolina trip. Called Galactic, I'm very excited. :]

Expect black and white and just pictures in general from that.
We went to a baseball game for my birthday, and I was excited to take pictures, cause we had great seats. But I accidentally left my battery at home charging. I'm so dumb. Hahah

Craziest weekend of my life, by far. I won't go to into much detail, but by the end of the day on Saturday, I was hiding from my friends step dad because I got kicked out. I went behind their garage in the woods, which happened to be peoples backyards as well, and since I had no idea where to go, I figured I'd put all my stuff down and chill in the woods for a while, I first made a comfy chair out of cinder blocks, then I texted some people, then I started taking pictures, not really a good place or time, but I had nothing else to do. As I'm taking pictures, this old lady comes into her back yard with all her cats, and starts gardening. So I quickly grabbed all my shit and ran, cause she would have called the cops on me. So I ran threw a bunch of yards, onto the street and started walking with my heavy bag full of illegal stuff, and camera equipment. I go to a different part of the woods, finally give up and call my mother.



I recently spent about $96 dollars on Polaroid film, so expect about fifty or so of those in the future, I'm trying to make them last, and make them count, but I usually end up taking pictures of stupid shit, and they don't come out right. I'm trying not to do that...

Holga film should be finished developing soon, my first roll ever. So I couldn't tell you whether it'll be posted or not, since some of it may not even come out.


Sorry for the lack of updates, I can't say that enough. I've been working a lot lately, I don't know if many people knew this or not, but I do have a job. Which is one of my main excuses for lack of photography updates.
I work at a pet shop, and my boss has been relying on me a lot lately so I've been working my ass off.

I also updated my Equipment Journal ([link]) since I'm expanding a little.

If anyone has any other questions about me, or my photography feel free to ask.

Well I've been keeping busy. Cleaning shit up, which is why I've been scanning so much, I've found a lot of old prints.

So none of those are recent, but I'm definitely going back to my roots, which is film. Not to mention I've gotten a job, and since I have money now I've decided to buy a few new toys. :]

So pretty soon, I'm going to be buying a Holga, a Diana+, and a fish eye. I'm giving lomography half my paycheck pretty much. Haha and I'm super excited.

I haven't been updating at all lately. And I can't apologize enough.
Winter is definitely my off season, we don't vacation as much anymore, and where I live... winter is dead, dull, and boring, and to put it simply there isn't anything to photograph, and definitely nothing that's inspiring... since everything is dead. In fact it's pouring right now. Photography is slow. But life is looking better and better every day.

My days have turned into long rants, about logic and life.
Fights have turned into exciting fits of rage, that truly make my day.

I haven't been entirely lazy though, although I have little to work with, I have been making the attempt. I desperately need to find the manual to my new flash, because I frankly don't know how the fuck to use it. I've also been thinking of idea's.

Like last summer, my two best friends are coming to visit me, (From Indonesia and Maryland) probably for ten days like last year. At least I'll have models, finally. This summer will be ten times better then the last, and that's a fact. I'm pretty excited... but enough about that.

I'm just now realizing how wide my photography variety is.
Polaroids, Film, Digital, Landscape, Macro, and almost everything in between. Anyway, that isn't my point, but I just kind of realized how random my gallery is.


I'm back from South Carolina, and it was beyond amazing. It wasn't what I expected at all, I was told there were palmetto's there, but I didn't think they would literally be everywhere you look, even in the thick woods. Now I want to move there even more. I had a wonderful time. My shoulders are bruised from carrying a purse, and a lot of camera equipment around... but it was very worth it. We even stayed an extra day, we planned on splitting up the eight hour drive into two days, which we did going down, but we wanted to stay longer, so we decided on the way home we would do all eight or so hours in one day, and it really was not that bad at all. I could do that every weekend if it was required to find a house, an let alone move there.

But as you can see, I received my scanner in the mail today (Along with three lenses and a filter haha) and I pretty much went crazy.
A little back ground info, because I didn't want to post it on every single picture.

But those were taken in numerous locations in Jamaica.
And... I think they were all taken on my Canon EOS Rebel GII.
I'm pretty sure those weren't that old, I thought at first they were taken with my KS Super II, haha but then that would have to of been the first time I went to Jamaica, when I was eight, or the second, when I was ten.

Anyway, those were taken about... three years ago, when I was twelve, ugh.

First, Lately I've had no creative ideas, I've taken "good" photo's. But I'd be embarassed and ashamed to call that my work, so I'm not going to bother and post it. It's pointless, atleast I now know I basically suck at taking photo's when I'm not sober.

Third, Christmas I'm getting new camera equipment, so most likely... until then I'll have no creative spark. =/

Fourth, and quite importantly. We are thinking about moving, so on Christmas day, my mother and I (And my very new camera equipment + laptop) will be traveling the coast of southern NC and SC, and we'll be house hunting in Charleston, and Myrtle Beach. So yeah, more work then. Not to mention possibly another house to live in? I don't know yet... hopefully, I really want to move.

Fifth, Happy thanksgiving, I personally dislike this holiday. I'm thankful everyday, this is definitely not an excuse for me to over eat. But that's alright, I hope everyone had a good day. Our dinner table conversation consist of, Boobs, Moving, More Boobs, and my gran. We're an odd family. ;]

Around the first of October, if not earlier my internet went out, so that tells you why I was gone for so long (I wasn't in Saint Martin that entire time) anyway sorry about that I had no chance to get on and leave any kind of updates to anyone so many people just thought I fell off the face of the earth, but I'm fine and alive.

Anyway, My grandmother passed the morning of Sunday September 30th, we went to her funeral on Thursday, then drove all night from Norfolk, VA to Baltimore, MD. Then we got a hotel room and woke up around 5am to get to Baltimore Washington International, then we flew 3 hours to Puerto Rico, then about 30 minutes to Saint Martin, well it was Sint Maarten since we flew into the Dutch side, it was so much like Jamaica at first (I've been there three times) Anyway we stayed from the fifth to the ninth on Sunday the seventh was my parents good friend BC and his lovely wife Christina's wedding. I didn't really know Christina but wow she was great, and so pretty. I know they'll be very happy, then on Monday was my parents 19th Anniversary. Then we left Tuesday, got back to BWI around midnight, drove six hours, came home went to sleep at 6:30am, woke up around 1pm.


Let's just say after all that we were pretty out of it, Today would be Friday and I just got a new internet provider so now I'm with Cable. :]
Any who I got some amazing photo's (I think) and I'm very happy with how things ended. I miss my grandmother of course but she lived a very long eventful life, and she herself told us she was ready to leave. I'm glad she went peacefully although in a hospital for three weeks she is in a better place.
