Martel was once human, Greed never was and one's a chimera and one's a homunculus

Not known in the manga or anime. But in my mind and some others yes. Then again Greed loves woman and being sealed for 130 years he could get horny, and Martel was the only woman around when he was freed. But that would be more lustful.

Greed. He only did it once though

If they do have a relationship, Martel probably since Greed can't really love

She is fairly kind and can't help but stand up for people who are misunderstood, like Greed and his chimera buddies.

HISTORY

Yes. In Pokemon she has a mother, father, and a little brother and sister. But in FMA her mother and father are dead, and she lives with a man named Calsifer, Martel, Dorochet, and Loa. All of whom are the real world versions of Greed and his three closest chimera buddies.

In pokemon yes, because she's a pokemon trainer.
