Anyway, as the title says, theOtaku is back! If you're curious as to what happened just look here: [link] It was so weird to not be able to get online! I'm too use to visiting theOtaku and Otakuboards every day. Though it did make a nice break from moderation work. Though naturally the moment I sign it it's to find work waiting for me that because of the downtime I couldn't get to.

Still for the moment it's all done and wonder of wonders... I actually got through most of my backlog of comments and stuff here for a change! lol I tend to neglect this site even though I like it. ^_^ But since I had extra time for it I got through a lot of it.

I'm also shamelessly addicted to doing RPG's over at OtakuBoards, especially one that I'm running called Silver One, which after having a successful run with the first part has moved to the second part: Silver One: Civil War. It's something that I really enjoy doing and having a bunch of talented writers being a part of it just makes it even more fun. ^_^

So needless to say a number of my art projects have not gotten finished since drawing is just a hobby for me. I still have the files, I just need to finish them. I am sorting some from my digital camera so hopefully I'll have those ready to post tomorrow.

The only problem now? Having a ton of messages to respond to since I haven't logged in over here in a while. XD So I'm going to try and get to them, or at the very least make a good dent into the stack. Heh.

Not much is going on in my life. We've been having terrible cold weather here for the past couple of weeks, and one night we lost power when it was -8 Farenheit outside. Brrr! But they got it back on and everything has worked fine since.

I suppose the biggest change this year for me has been my learning how to use photoshop to color. It's like an addiction! I positively love using photoshop to color!

I kind of gave up on drawing since working with paper frustrates me a lot. I have arthritis and certain fine control movements don't work well and drawing is one of them. I've lost count of the times I've messed up a drawing and tossed it into the trash in frustration. Or the times I've been tempted to toss my pencils in the trash as well. After breaking them into tiny pieces first. Anyway...

But working with the computer and having a handy undo tool and erasor and a canvas that I don't have to worry about a jerk of the hand causing the pencil to dig into the paper, has gotten me back into drawing again. ^_^ At least the coloring side.

Later this year I'm going to get a tablet so I can start doing my own line art. I am at least working on a comic I started last year for Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Hehe! I've only got two more basic line art's to do for it and then it's scanning time!

One of my friends over at myOtaku was poking fun at how terrible I am about updating here at DeviantArt. Sadly it’s all too true. I love to come here and check out the art, but I get to easily sidetracked by all the other things going on in my life. Especially since I also moderate over at theOtaku.com and OtakuBoards.com. So I tend to favor both of those sites when it comes to my online time.

But between her prodding and the change to DeviantArt where being signed in is necessary to avoid the pop up adds when you are browsing, I am finding myself signing in more often. Though I suspect that some of that is because I’m learning how to manage my time a little better. ^_~

I’ve also made it my new years resolution to be more up-to-date so I figured I’d get a head start on that. Now I just need to keep it up even after the new year starts! ^_~ And since I know I’m terrible with updates I’ll wish all of you a very Merry Christmas in advance. After all it’s not all that far away. XD

Some of you already know me from myOtaku.com. Well since myOtaku.com is an anime site I thought I would join DeviantART so I would have a place to post my nature pictures. I have visited all the national parks in Utah and I have visited Yellowstone National Park many times. ^_^ And there are lots of other beautiful places here in Utah as well. Well it's hard to believe that it's already 2006! ^_^ I hope all of you will forgive me for not being around for a while. I fell on some ice and fractured my ribs. >_< I then got pnemonia on top of it so I haven't been online a lot as it's been too painful to sit up! So I ended up neglecting this account for a while.
