Deranged Bloods

The past few days have been a bit crazy. Long story short - I drove 1.5 hrs away to a beach, OD'd, hid behind a rock so no-one would notice me, watched people surfing, just drifting away in my own head. I didnt think anyone would see me but this guy whose son was surfing found me, called paramedics, got taken to hospital. They put me on a drip because apparently my liver is screwed. I had to have 3 bags of IV crap, parvolex, to try and clean my liver of the paracetamol. The parvolex makes you puke your guts up, so I spent 24 puking, I had to have 2 anti-sickness injections to stop me throwing up, especially as there was nothing in my tummy to throw up - bile... yum... I got so pissed off with being there because the last bag was supposed to go in over 16 hrs and that would take me to 9pm last nite so I said that was ok I would stay but then I was going home. The Dr said I wasnt going home as I needed a blood test the next morning. I told them Im not staying another night just for a fucking blood test. They got all pissy and started saying my bloods were really messed up and my liver is really damaged and how I had to stay so I said I would just discharge myself. I signed a waiver to say Im refusing medical treatment and that if I drop dead I wont sue them, pulled the IV from my arm because the last bag hadnt finished and left! So they told me (exact words!) that my blood is DERANGED! HOW FUCKING FUNNY IS THAT! I have DERANGED blood!! LOL So yea, I puked my guts up the whole night in hospital and now Im home, I still feel a little ill but nothing major. They told me they are very concerned for my health. Mummy isnt speaking to me, she is SO pissed off that I signed that form and left, I cant believe she is pissed at that tho like hello I od'd, ie tried to kill myself, therefore why would I give a fuck about my actual health, deranged blood, screwed liver?!?!?!?!? SERIOUSLY!! So yea I am hated because I am evil and selfish and only think about myself and blah blah blah WHAT THE FUCK EVER.

So after a lengthy discussion with one of my friends about geeks he found an online geek test to find out how geeky I really am! When I read my score I thought it was kind of average until I read both the guestbook on the site and him telling me the forum he found the test people were only scoring between 5 and 20% with 30% being the max... I scored a COOL "50.09862% - Super Geek" OMG SUPERGEEK! W00T I am L337!!!

Well after a not so nice end to 2006 we are finally in 2007. I spent just over a month in a psych ward being monitored which wasn't the best of fun. I'm out now and spending copious amounts of time knitting.... it's the most amazing fun. I started 2005 and it has only increased to me buying more wool and more patterns.

It's Roxie's 1st birthday tomorrow!! It only seems like yesterday that we were just flying over to get her. Happy Birthday Roxie!!

D and I offered our services to foster animals to a local santuary. So we just received and mother and 4 babies to look after. Cat (as we are calling the mummy, after breakfast at tiffanies and because we dont want to give her a real name) is surprisingly tame considering how stressed she was in the cage is doing fine. Her babies are about 1/2 week to a week older than our babies. Its 3 boys and a girl. You can check them out under my scraps.
So thats a total of 1 puppy, 1 rabbit, 1 gerbil and 10 cats!! Crazy

To the citizens of the United States of America, In the light of your failure to elect a competent President of the USA and thus to govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your independence, effective today. Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchical duties over all states, commonwealths and other territories. Except Utah, which she does not fancy. Your new prime minister (The Right Honourable Tony Blair, MP for the 97.85% of you who have until now been unaware that there is a world outside your borders) will appoint a minister for America without the need for further elections. Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. A questionnaire will be circulated next year to determine whether any of you noticed. 1. You should look up "revocation" in the Oxford English Dictionary. Then look up "aluminium". Check the pronunciation guide. You will be amazed at just how wrongly you have been pronouncing it. Using the same twenty seven words interspersed with filler noises such as "like" and "you know" is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. Look up "interspersed". There will be no more 'bleeps' in the Jerry Springer show. If you're not old enough to cope with bad language then you shouldn't have chat shows. When you learn to develop your vocabulary then you won't have to use bad language as often.

2. There is no such thing as "US English". We will let Microsoft know on your behalf. The Microsoft spell-checker will be adjusted to take account of the reinstated letter 'u' and the elimination of "-ize".

3. You should learn to distinguish the English and Australian accents. It really isn't that hard. English accents are not limited to cockney, upper-class twit or Mancunian (Daphne in Frasier). You will also have to learn how to understand regional accents - Scottish dramas such as "Taggart" will no longer be broadcast with subtitles. While we're talking about regions, you must learn that there is no such place as Devonshire in England. The name of the county is "Devon". If you persist in calling it Devonshire, all American States will become "shires" e.g. Texasshire, Floridashire, Louisianashire.

4. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast English actors as the good guys. Hollywood will be required to cast English actors to play English characters. British sit-coms such as "Men Behaving Badly" or "Red Dwarf" will not be re-cast and watered down for a wishy-washy American audience who can't cope with the humour of occasional political incorrectness.

5. You should relearn your original national anthem, "God Save The Queen", but only after fully carrying out task 1. We would not want you to get confused and give up half way through.

6. You should stop playing American "football". There is only one kind of football. What you refer to as American "football" is not a very good game. The 2.15% of you who are aware that there is a world outside your borders may have noticed that no one else plays "American" football. You will no longer be allowed to play it, and should instead play proper football. Initially, it would be best if you played with the girls. It is a difficult game. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby (which is similar to American "football", but does not involve stopping for a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour like nancies). We are hoping to get together at least a US Rugby sevens side by 2005. You should stop playing baseball. It is not reasonable to host an event called the 'World Series' for a gam...

`Restaurant for Anorexics' to Open in Berlin

A restaurant for anorexics? What food would it serve? Next month Berlin will become the first city in the world to find out.

Sehnsucht ("Longing"), a cosy 50-seater cantina in the German capital's leafy Tiergarten district, is the brainchild of a former anorexic, employs a bulimic waitress and has an anorexic chef presiding over a menu that deliberately distances dishes from the ingredients they contain. Developed with the help of a nutritionist, the menu will list non-food names like Hallo (in reality a lobster bisque), Heisshunger ("Ravenous Hunger", a rack of lamb), and Seele ("Soul", which will appear at your table in the form of a cappuccino creme dessert).

"The concept has been especially created with an anorexic in mind," said Sehnsucht's manager, Katja Eichbaum, 32, a former office clerk who battled with her own disorder for 15 years. "Anorexics have to be taught that eating out can be fun." All portions will be "normal sized" and the restaurant, also attached to a refuge and advice centre, will be open to non-anorexics as well.

Sehnsucht is the latest to feed Berlin's seemingly unending appetite for curiously themed restaurants. The city already has two highly successful "blind" restaurants, where guests eat in pitch darkness, served by blind waiters. There is a cafe for the deaf and an ultra-trendy establishment, run by a slightly crazy Argentinean, where you eat what you're given, then pay what you think the meal is worth.

Restaurant critics have their doubts. "I'm not sure I can see it being a commercial success," said Michael Poppl, food editor and restaurant critic at Berlin's main listings magazine, Zitty. "Berlin restaurant- goers are renowned for wanting to try new things, but I think non-anorexics might be confused by what they can expect to actually eat at an anorexics' restaurant."

Sehnsucht's opening comes in the wake of news that Germany's star Olympic swimmer Franziska van Almsick battled anorexia as a teenager. The government is also launching a campaign to beat childhood obesity, a problem researchers believe can lead to eating disorders in adult life. Experts say the number of those suffering from eating disorders in Germany has tripled over the past 10 years, and have welcomed the restaurant.

"I think it's a great idea, even if I do have serious doubts about it," said Andreas Schnebel, a psychologist and anorexia specialist at Germany's largest eating disorder support and advice centre. "Normal therapy often fails, and if anorexics can re-learn that eating can be fun at this restaurant, then that's wonderful."

Crazy week.. Sheryl and I had a 'Weekend of Fun' becoz my parents were away in london moving my sisters stuff. We hung out and played with her hula hoop, made crepes, watched films, went surfing (Yes im still in pain.. damn cross current). So all in all a good weekend.

I LIKE MONKEYS

The pet store was selling them for five cents a piece. I thought that odd since they were normally a couple thousand each. I decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth. I bought 200. I like monkeys.

I took my 200 monkeys home. I have a big car. I let one drive. His name was Sigmund. He was retarded. In fact, none of them were really bright. They kept punching themselves in their genitals. I laughed. Then they punched my genitals. I stopped laughing.

I herded them into my room. They didn't adapt very well to their new environment. They would screech, hurl themselves off of the couch at high speeds and slam into the wall. Although humorous at first, the spectacle lost its novelty halfway into its third hour.

Two hours later I found out why all the monkeys were so inexpensive: they all died. No apparent reason. They all just sorta' dropped dead. Kinda' like when you buy a goldfish and it dies five hours later. Damn cheap monkeys.

I didn't know what to do. There were 200 dead monkeys lying all over my room, on the bed, in the dresser, hanging from my bookcase. It looked like I had 200 throw rugs.

I tried to flush one down the toilet. It didn't work. It got stuck. Then I had one dead, wet monkey and 199 dead, dry monkeys.

I tried pretending that they were just stuffed animals. That worked for a while, that is until they began to decompose. It started to smell real bad.

I had to pee but there was a dead monkey in the toilet and I didn't want to call the plumber. I was embarrassed.

I tried to slow down the decomposition by freezing them. Unfortunately there was only enough room for two monkeys at a time so I had to change them every 30 seconds. I also had to eat all the food in the freezer so it didn't all go bad.

I tried burning them. Little did I know my bed was flammable. I had to extinguish the fire.

Then I had one dead, wet monkey in my toilet, two dead, frozen monkeys in my freezer, and 197 dead, charred monkeys in a pile on my bed. The odor wasn't improving.

I became agitated at my inability to dispose of my monkeys and to use the bathroom. I severely beat one of my monkeys. I felt better.

I tried throwing them way but the garbage man said that the city wasn't allowed to dispose of charred primates. I told him that I had a wet one. He couldn't take that one either. I didn't bother asking about the frozen ones.

Just to bug you all im now gonna try and remember to let you all know whats happening on the ASP tour!! For those of you who dont know thats the association of surfing professionals! The top 45 professional surfers compete at different places around the world for the number one spot. There was a totally weird happening at the first event last month. Michael Lowe beat 3 TOP surfers in a row to win the first event! Read it all below!!

Friday, March 12, 2004 (Snapper Rocks, Gold Coast, Australia) Australian Michael Lowe (Windang, NSW) today defeated the biggest names in surfing to win the Quiksilver Pro presented by Boost Mobile. The US$260,000 World Championship Tournament (WCT) resumed with round four and ran right through the business end of the draw, climaxing at the grand finale and crowning of the 2004 champion.

Clean 4ft (1.3m) righthanders persisted throughout the day at Rainbow Bay, offering plenty of room for the worlds best surfers to cut loose on. Conditions became more inconsistent during the higher tide, but this did little to slow down performances.

Following an amazing day of surfing, in which world #8 Lowe accounted for six-time world champion Kelly Slater (FL, USA) in the quarterfinals and California Taylor Knox in the semis, the 26-year-old then faced reigning two-time world champion Andy Irons (Kauai, Haw). The goofy footer wasted little time in the 35-minute final, posting an 8.17 on his first ride and then snuck a great wave under his opponents priority to earn a daunting 9.17 midway through and gain control.

Having won his last WCT title two years ago in Fiji, the victory brings his overall tally to three, but more significantly sees him on top of the world ratings for the first time in his career. It also generated a cool US$30,000 in prizemoney.

Ive seen Parko do it and Dingo it, and cant deny that I was jealous of them two, began Lowe, after being carried up the beach past thousands of cheering supporters. To finally get one myself is sensational. You cant start the year any better than beating the world champ in the final. Its insane.

I wasnt quite sure what they were going to score that wave, but it hit the bank really nice and I just kept on doing turns, he explained of his best ride. When they announced the 9.17 and that Andy needed a 9.51, I was pretty rapt. Kelly, Knox and Andy, three in a row go the goofy footers, I say (laughs).

Ok I just got home from the hospital. It was awful leaving her, she has been taken on the ward now. The surgeon came and saw her and is gonna do a scan in the morning as they still dont know what is wrong.

The past few days have been hard enough and now its just like my whole world is crashing round my ears. My mum is my rock, the one I can go to just for a hug when I need one. Last nite before she went to bed after spending the entire day hugging me she said if I needed a hug to come waken her, thats just my mum, thats our relationship and how close we are. I was saying to my friend last nite that its so weird so many people here have to hide their si but I havent had to for the past 3 yrs, if I cut I can walk around with my arms out and it makes no difference. My parents understand, my mum understands. She is on antideps at the moment, she knows what im going through so to see her like this makes my heart break. I cant stop crying and feel so exhausted and like I could sleep for a million years yet at the same time I dont think I will sleep tonite.

I just want to make her ok, I want to be where she is so she can be at home and safe and well. I dont care if I am dying I just wish she was ok. She has held this family together. She is the stronghold and without her I dont know what we wud do.

I want to cut so I bleed to death but I know cutting wont help matters. I couldnt help but cry when I went back there, partly to do with seeing her in so much pain and partly for myself, being back there - its too soon. The OD was too fresh in my head. Seeing the nurses who treated me, the beds, the smell, the heat, the sounds and just everything. It was so hard and she knew that. She said to me how proud she was of me for being there knowing how hard it was for me.

Oh God just help me, I dont know what to do...

I know I am not one for needing, I dont like to need - its the way I have been brought up, we just battle through but I will ask for hugs today because I dont think I can get through this... I hate myself for saying that, making this whole thing about me when it isnt me who should need, its her. I feel like im adding a whole other burden to this.

Ok so I'm home, literally been home about an hour.
Yea I OD'd on monday, apparently 10 more mins and I would be dead, then when they checked my toxin levels they said I should be dead... It's kinda weird because I don't feel like I nearly died... I feel like I have been ill for a few days but thats all, I don't feel majorly affected or anything..
I feel kinda weird, everyone is making this big fuss and it doesn't seem to make sense in my brain.
They are making me go and see the psych on thursday next week - I'm REALLY worried about it because it's the psych I saw 4 yrs ago and HATED with a passion. He was so cold and did fuck all for me, so now im freakin about that, which really isn't good, makes me wanna go su..... which worries me. I thought even if I did pull through my attempt it might shake me up enough to make me want to live, but it hasn't.
I feel lost.

Crying tears, not through my eyes but from my heart, splitting. Would death not be easier than this pain day in day out. Everytime you think you are beginning to cope and deal with shit, more gets piled on top of you.
The feeling of numbness yet at the same time every emotion coursing through your body, like a lightening bolt hitting your heart. You feel dead but know that because of the pain you feel you must be alive. Lying still feeling the happiest in the world yet complete sadness at the lack of what you want so close. Daily pain, always knowing it's so close yet so far. Will you ever get it?
The centre of your world making you so happy yet can so easily tear you down to the deepest feeling of sorrow which you never even realised existed. The hurt, so deep on the inside you know it could not possibly exist on the outside unless your whole body were burnt to cinders while you watch. Your beating heart held before you as you die so slowly. The scars show your inner pain, so sad but at the same time show strength, the strength to get through the hard times.
