OMG!!!!
I don't even know where to start!
Ok! *breathes in and out*
Calm down, me!

God! Ok! Here I go!

First, I spent another boring week in GA.
Not fun! Same old same old.

BUT THEN!

We drove down to ST. Augustine and went to EXP Con!!
Both me and (katie) went, and stayed all weekend. (Fri-Sun)

Now, I know what you're thinking. Oh God. She went to a nerd convention.
And, yes; yes I did. But it was one of the fun-est things I've ever done in my life!



First, we get there and walk around a bit, trying to figure out where everything was. It wasn't too big, wasn't too small. It was the perfect size for someone's first con.

So, we went to a bunch of panels!
_{Panels are where you sit down with a bunch of other people and listen to a speaker talk about a particular topic and ask that person whatever you want.}

Those two people happened to be Vic Mignogna and Troy Baker.
I was ecstatic! We sat right in the front row! Vic came close enough that I could've reached out and touched him! (but I was able to hold myself back) :3

Man! I thought Vic was cool in his pictures and videos, but in person he is amazing! (Troy too). I learned so many things about him! (like how wikipedia lied about his age). He also told us a story from his cop days. And, a student from when he used to teach came to see him. Many hilarious stories ensued afterwards, and I laughed so hard. He's a funneh man. :"D

Troy was equally as funny. What did I learn from him? That he has a thing against chairs (because he refused to sit in one at all), and that his favorite word to use in a conversation is "freakin'" (as evident in his speech). :"D

I got their autographs! I got Vic's twice....
And Troy's once.....on my leg!!!
That's right! Troy signed my jeans!
It looks epic. (I mean, c'mon. An all black pair of jeans with a silver sharpie autograph....It makes awesome).

I even got a hug from Vic! He's so sweet!
And....I have to say *ahem*....................
He smells FANTASTIC!

That was, most definately, the highlight of my year. ^///^

Many other hilarious things happened.
I can't go into detail or this journal will go on forever.
.....Like......talking to college boys! (a LOT, of college boys).
How about that phone call Marie-Claire?
Oh! And our "glomping stalkers"! (but they're another story for another time)
Oh Dang! Can't forget Kristina the Joker! She was epic! (and quite the talker)

First of all, once you read this, I REALLY need you to talk to your parents and figure out if you're going or not. I can't do everything myself.

Alright. Let's start of with the basics.




This particular convention is called EXP Con.
It will be held at St. Johns County Convention Center at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village. In short, St. Augustine, FL.
It's in October, and runs from the 9th - 11th
(We're on our fall break during that time)

Alright. That's the first chunk o' info. Write it down, if must!
You need to remember to tell your parents before October 1st!



Now for the technical stuff. Be sure to read this section well, because it's the most important.

- For EXP Con's location and dates, please see the above.

The price of the ticket depends on YOU. We must know if you're going BEFORE October 1st. (see below)

You see, we don't want to pay at the door. Not a good idea.
We'll lose a lot of money ($30 +) and run the possibility of them not having any tickets availible. We must Pre-Register!

If we can get a group of 10 or more people, then we can get a discount! We'll save an additional $15 by registering as a group!

That's $20 people! We pay $20 _each for buying as a group of 10 or more! Hot Dog!

So, get people to come! Even your parents can come; Mine are.
If we can get, at least, 10 people, then that discount is ours!

What I mainly wanted to say was a few roles were announced on Tuesday, August 18th.

For starters, I'm about ready to murder every single person in Funimation Studios who picked freakin TODD HABERKORN as Death the Kid!!!
What the heck is wrong with them?! Are they deaf?! Or maybe just desperate??
_{(For those that don't know, Todd played as Hikaru from Ouran Host Club, Allen Walker from D.Gray-Man, Watanuki from xxxHolic, and a few others that I don't care to mention)}

I mean, c'mon! Kid is supposed to have a mature, super-sexy voice!
Yet there they go, making him sound like a little boy who hasn't even gone through puberty yet! Gah!

*sigh*

Anyway, there IS one good thing.

Vic Mignogna!

As most of you know, he is my role model, and favorite voice actor.
Yes, I obsess over him. But I don't care! He's worth every second!

Anyway, I am REALLY happy he got a role on Soul Eater.
He even got Spirit! He may not be a major character, but he's still in my top 5 favorites. :3
I can't wait to see how his role will turn out. Be warned, you'll be able to here me squeeling with joy within the whole county. X3

So, yes. More voices will definately be announced next Tuesday.
I can't wait! I'm DYING to see who plays Stein! DYING!!
Of course, with him being my favorite character and all, I may be extremely disappointed as well. (I seriously set my expectations too high -_- ). I just hope his voice sounds perfect and sexy, just like in the Japanese! I love ya, Stein! <3

Ok. To conclude, I have two theories as to who plays Soul.
Based on his voice from that AMV Funimation put out, I'd place him to be either Johnny Yong Bosch or Aaron Dismuke.

Johnny is, believe it or not, originally from the Power Rangers! XD
That still cracks me up to this day.
But, for some of his better-known voice acting roles, he's played as:
- Ichigo from Bleach
- Lelouch from Code Geass
- Koizumi from Haruhi Suzumiya
- Kiba from Wolf's Rain
etc. You get the point, I hope.

Love his voice. It's very versitle and well-rounded.
Most say he is the English counterpart for Daisuke Ono.

And as for Aaron Dismuke's more noted roles...
- different roles from Fruits Basket
- Alphonse from Fullmetal Alchemist
- Ginko (as a child) from Mushishi
- Yasuchika (Hunny's little brother) from Ouran Host Club

His voice is definately cuter and younger-sounding than Johnny's.
But he's still a possibility.

This is a shoutout to all of you who said you actually wanted to go back to school, and are now eating your words.
I have no words to eat, because I'm living them out.

Anyway, I made the JV volleyball team. That's an accomplishment for me since I haven't been on the team since 6th grade.
That's also going to kick my butt. I'm worried how volleyball will interfere with hw and stuff like that. :C

Soul Eater Dub!

I found out that a few VA roles will be announced sometime during the New York Anime Festival! I can't give any exact dates, sorry. Some people say it's next week, others say sometime in September. So idk. No dates. Just the hope that they'll actually give us the info this time.

- Pray for Death the Kid to be played by Patrick Seitz!!! It would be perfect!!!!!
- Black Star should be played by Maile Flanagan. She's the only one who even comes CLOSE to his voice. Nuff said.
- I've lots of poeple wanting Vic Mignogna to play Spirit. I don't know how that would work out....but I'm willing to accept it if it's Vic! I, personally, think he should play Justin Law.
- Travis Willingham MUST be in there somewhere! He's too good to just pass over! Even a minor roll like Buttadaki Joe!

I've been all over the web and didn't find a thing about any new updates on the Soul Eater dub.

BUT, it occured to me the other day to check FUNimation's website. *should've thought of that sooner* OTL

ANYWAY, I found a new promotional AMV.
It came out AWESOME! I love how the timing came out! _{(and trust me, I get really irritated when the timing is off by the slightest).}

AND, at the end of the AMV, you get to heard Soul's voice!!

Ok, to be honest, I'm not crazy about his voice.
Don't get me wrong, I can live with it.
But I just don't think it's right.
Soul is supposed to have this deep-ish voice. It's supposed to be sexy!! >.<
(but the eng va doesn't sound sexy at all 0.0 )

I also found out on FUNi's Soul Eater forums that Kyle Herbert will be playing Tsubaki's brother, the Fey Blade.
(he's Kiba's va from Naruto and the narrator for Dragon Ball Z)
I'm not quite sure how that will turn out, but we'll see. o.o

EXCEPT...

I really think Patrick Seitz should play Kid.

+ Senri, because of the same reason as Mori, but he also likes to collect flowers and is the sweetest teddy bear I've EVER seen!
+ Agni is just SO devoted to Prince Soma, it's touching. He's very passionate and will do anything for him.

+ All of the men I listed have qualities I like that I'd love to see in my future husband _{(even though a few of them are gay, tee hee)}.
Some of them is a bit out there, I know, but I can't help it.

They were _supposed to announce the voice actors on July 4th from 12:30-1:30 at Anime Expo in LA. But for some reason, they cancelled the annoucement and we are still in suspence. D:

I mean, the trailer was a let down all in itself, but now no voice actor list release?? Insane!

Anyway, I read something very interesting about the dub. I'll post it here.

"...I've talked to a representative at Funimation at AnimeNEXT and they are treating this dub more serious than any other dub since this show is VERY popular. They're also going to do something very special with this also. Also newcomer are going to be added since probably most of them are going to be teenagers since the show is teenagers...."

This just makes me so much more excited!!!
Release of the English dubbed Soul Eater animation is said to be sometime in October, along with the English translated manga! Let's hope so. We'll see.

For those of you living under a rock, I've been in GA since Friday.
But I just got back today!

I couldn't use the comp while I was up there, so now I'll be spending the rest of today checking messages and all that.

My week has been....interesting.
The first night we got there, we had dinner with (a very VERY tiny fraction of) my mom's side of the family. (if the entire side of my mom's family were there, we'd take up the whole resturaunt).


God, my mom can be so cruel. She wouldn't stop talking and talking and talking about me, and making fun of me in front of everyone. It wasn't very fun. :C

The next day, I learned a little about the harvesting and distribution of corn.
Then, my grandparents decided that they need some more "decoratice" rocks for their massive, lake-siced pond. But wait! Who needs to spend $500 on rocks when we can go all the way to the Flint River and get free rocks?? -_-

And so, we went to the Flint River, and went rock hunting. It would have been loads of fun, if not for the heat, bugs, and the fact that I had on a long-sleeved shirt. But, we bagan loading these huge rocks onto the back of a truck, when one....rolled/fell, onto my toe. Nothing bad came of it. Just a bloody toe and a nice cut along my cutical.

It stung and burned like heck later though. My grandmother wanted to spend some time with me by bringing me to a nail salon. And there, I got my first pedicure, ever. I felt so spoiled.

Gah! This journal's getting long! Well, I'll update more later!
I'll be drawing more too! (but mostly fanart stuff). I've wanted to draw Dr. Hokuto Umeda from the manga "Hana Kimi" sooo baaadly~

(it even made me cry 3 times. It's definately won my respect because of that)

So, yeah. I got home from watching "Up" not too long ago. Watch it cause it's super cute/funny. The first part of the movie made me cry. I was really supirsed since I've never cried during animated kid's movie before. But then what really got me was a part that made me cry happy tears. That blew me away. So yes, this movie has earned my respect as mentioned above.

But what I really wanted to say was that I have an idea for a short story in my head. I'm really hoping to finish this idea (especially since it's summer) because I'm horrible at short stories so I'm anticipating how it'll come out.

For some reason I fell kinda......I don't know...floaty?
Just really relaxed, easy going. Not quite entertained but also not bored. It's odd. But it's the perfect mood for me to write in, so I don't mind it for now.

So, I've run into so many problems this weekend. I finally got the sketch for the picture I'm going to submit to "Manga Without Borders 2" and it came out really good (imo). So I went to ink it, on my last sheet of copic paper. The inking came out great.

I went to go color it.

And it crashed and burned.

ON MY LAST SHEET OF COPIC PAPER!

So I told myself not to panic, that I can always order more and have it shipped with priority. But I fogot about Memorial day and how that puts all shipping off. So That didn't work.

So then I said, "oh. Well, I'll just CG it."
I've CG'd once before (not including my Christmas Picture, Kevin), so I was a bit worried about it's outcome. It's....ok-ish. But I'll only use it as a lst resort.

So then, I said, "Well, why not watercolor it?"
I did.
Also a last resort.

So now I'm down to one last medium, my precious prisma colored pencils.
The only thing I'm worried about now is screwing it up with my blender.

But then there's exams. I'm going to be spending as much time tomorrow as I can studying. So I won't have time to color it. Maybe if I have time after exams. But I want to be able focus on them 100% so I can get a good grade. I can't do that while worrying about a picture that's failed my 3 times in the coloring stage.

Well, what I'm basically saying is that I need encouargement. Lots of ecouragement.

Also, guys are tough. But hey, he made his choice, and I'm done competing when I've already lost. I said from the beginning "May the best girl win," and she did. So, yeah.

I know she'll never see this, but I want to get it off my chest anyway.

You better enjoy the time you have with him while you've got it. He's one of the greatest, funniest, nicest guys out there. So don't you DARE keep chasing after that idiot who knows nothing about a girl's feelings, because he obviosly only wants a girlfreind just to have one.

He also moves on quickly, I learned that the heard way, by losing to you. So take your chance NOW, and don't lose him to someone even worse than you. I'm still in shock that he likes you, but hey. What can you do.

He also has a list. And watch out, cause I'M STILL ON IT!
I still have a (slim to none) chance. So if you don't make a move, I will. He may hate me, and he may think I'm the most annoying girl out there, but I can still try.

As you know, I want to become a manga-ka (manga artist). To do that you need skill, talent, and publicity.

Ever since I started drawing manga (which was back in 2005) I've been using the help of Manga University. (it's an amazing website for those who like to draw manga)

Anyway, they publish a lot of books, one being they're popular "Manga Without Borders" which showcases manga artists from around the world. Now, they're coming out with a second one (Manga Without Borders 2) and are asking for artists to submit they're work to be published in their book that will be printed worldwide. (more info Here)

I am seriously considering sending my work to them, but I'm having a few doubts. I'm not sure if I'm what they're looking for. Plus, even if I do submit something, the deadline is May 30th (I think). I don't know what to draw! I don't know what mediums to use! I'm so worried that I'll draw something that they won't like and then be rejected (because they're only excepting 60 artists).

Help me please! I need ideas! I also need to know what you guys think I'm best at drawing with (colored pencil, copic markers, etc). It'll be a big help for me, so please give me some feedback!

I just got my hair colored today. It didn't come out quite as I expected it to, but I still like it.

I've got another drawing that I'm working on. It's a very detailed piece that I can already tell will take a bit of time to complete.
But I'll work hard on it!

Also, I haven't been feeling too great lately. No, I'm not sick.
I meant emotionally. I've just been getting depressed more and more lately, and I'm starting to get really insecure about a number of things that a very few of you know about. (If you don't know, don't ask. But it does have to do with the person I like)

Also, please continue to pray for me. Not only for my emotional roller coaster, but for everything else too. It's like everything, no matter how little or insignificant it is, sets me off and gets me upset. Maybe its a phase? Stress?

I don't know. But either way, your prayers will be a great help and encouragement to me. I'm still going through a few important matters that have been hanging over me for the last year now. I'm determined to get them resolved.

Thanks for listening to/reading my vagueness. At this point, I just need lots of encouragement. And remember, smiles are the most sure-fire way to disguise a hurting heart.

Anyway, random updates a chuga-luggin' on through. whoo whoo!

1. I'm sick. Not fun. But at least my headache went away! (for those of you that know me, you would know that headaches are a very big deal for me) [when I get them, I'm literally helpless because I can't concentrate on ANYTHING else]

2. I'm working on a few art pieces. Slowly but surely. I seriously need a new colored pencil blender. The only ones I own have been used so much that they've been turned into stumps.

3. I finished Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler) this morning. I cried. It was the conclusion of an awesome series that I wanted to go on forever~ And the ending was very abrupt. Good, but ubrupt.

4. I'm going through something very sad/important atm. Please pray for me to get through it with as little tearshed and hate as possible. (this really is serious. Please support me all the way) [also, its super secret, so don't ask me what it is please. Thank you]

5. I know its a bit early to be thinking about this, but I'm in a desperate turmoil about what college to go to/what I want to do for a living/life. Advice? [my choices of prefered carrer(s) are: Manga-Ka (artist), Voice Actress, and Author.

I'm not mad. I'm just....frustrated, and trying to think of a solution so you can get your commish.

On a side note, I have a TON of new ideas that involve a certain soopah sexeh mage from Tsubasa. Hee hee. (bishie FTW!)

And I'm goinbg to be coloring a pic that asked me to finish. (I hope I'll be able to finish it to your liking!)

Prom is also coming up. That means......Dress Shopping!
Darn you prom! (but I'm still looking forward to going)

I got my hair cut as well. (its got bunches of layers now) And in two weeks I'm getting it colored. I've never colored my hair before, so I'm a little nervous, but I'm willing to try it.

I've got about 4 layers now, the first one going down to my collarbone with three more that follow suit. The top layer I'm going to keep natural, but with each layer, the color is going to get darker and darker. On the bottom layer, which is going to be an extremely dark brown, is going to have a few purple streaks in it.

What do you think?

First of all, Miss Vecino told me I should be in floetry. o.o
I know, right. Me? pfft.

Well, in all honesty, I really did want to enter, but I was too shy to just submit something on my own, and was waiting for her to ask me, because I didn't want to make a fool of myself. But when a few days passed, and she didn't ask me, I kinda lost hope in the idea and focused on supporting my friends who were entering. (aka, you guys!)

So, yesterday (3/16), I was talking to and told her that she should enter. I guess Miss Vecino overheard us talking, because she looked at the two of us and said, "Yeah, Vanessa. You should. Although I'm supprised that you're not doing it either, Shelby. I think you both should."

So, what do you all think? Should I write something new, or use something here that I've already made? If I do make something new, what should it be about, or what feel/tone should it have?

I just don't know. I'm still in shock that she asked me (us) in the first place! (well, of course, not you, Nessa. I knew she was gonna ask you)

On a side note, I'm also kinda sad. I've been thinking about a lot of stuff lately that's really gotten me down. Plus the whole me-not-allowed-on-youtube thing isn't helping. I mean, after all, yt was like my way to escape everything. But now, I can't go on. ( [link] )

So, I've been relying on anime. That's not working out though because the last episode of Clannad ~After Story~ aired today, so that's over. And Soul Eater, as of this coming Monday, will be over with its 51st and final episode.

All the other anime I've been watching lately have been boring me (except Axis Powers Hetalia) and I am looking for some REALLY GOOD anime to watch. PLEASE give me suggestions! If it weren't for anime then I wouldn't be watching any videos period. So please save me!

Me? Not so happy.
In fact, I'm a little ticked off.
Never mind. I'm VERY ticked.

How many of you have strict parents? Anyone? *crickets chirps*
Exactly. None of you knows what it's like!

Me on the other hand? Yes. My parents are strict to the point where I just want to cry sometimes.

Take now, for example. I wish I could just scream in their (especially my mom's) faces right now.

I mean, I know I'm not an adult. But I'm not a 6 year old either. I know I'm not on my own yet. But for just ONCE, I would like them to treat me like my age! Just ONE FRIGGIN TIME!

I'm not one to curse. I'm not one to smoke. I'm not one to get banged by any old guy. I'M NOT LIKE THAT!

Yet they still feel the need to treat me a delinquet who can't tell the difference between what's good and what's not.

Sure, I've made a few not-so-good choices. But God! It's not like they'll change my life! It's not like I do stuff like that all the time! I'M HUMAN! I MAKE MISTAKES!

As most of you know, I don't have a my own e-mail. Why? Because my parents don't trust me with my own.
Why don't they trust me with my own? I have no clue! I'm not going to e-mail anyone but friends! I'm not going to give it away to some "kid" on the net! And I wouldn't use it for anything bad!

So, I thought, well, maybe if she sees that nothing bad is happening on "my" e-mail, then she would let me have my own. Well, it's pretty much shot down like a duck during hunting season now.

Most all of you guys have youtube account, am I right? Those of you that do have one know that everything that you do on youtube gets sent in an e-mail. For the most part, that's kinda convenient. You know when people comment, send you vids, send friend requests, etc.

What's so bad about that, right?

Well, lately, you guys have been sending me things that aren't making my mom happy in the slightest. Now, she doesn't check youtube directly (I don't think, at least). But when you guys send me stuff, it gets sent to her, because my account is regestered with her e-mail. So she reads what the e-mail says.

So everything you guys do that involves me, involves my mom as well. Not a problem, right? WRONG! When you huys send me all this bad stuff, she knows about it! And she being the strict woman that she is gets mad when she sees it. So who gets hurt? ME!

She thinks that just because you guys send me bad stuff, it makes me a bad kid who looks at bad stuff. BUT I'M NOT!

You guys know me. You all know that I'm a good kid. You know because you all hang around me every day. And even though I live with my mom, even though she's been around me my whole life, SHE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW ME! THE ONLY THING SHE SEEMS TO GET ABOUT ME IS THAT I'M A GIRL AND HOW OLD I AM! SHE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT MY CHARACTER, OR WHO I AM, OR HOW I ACT, OR ANYTHING!

I try so hard to be good in her eyes! I work my tail off! Yet she doesn't think it's good enough! She doesn't appretiate the fact I try SO hard to please her!

Sometimes I just feel like I should get into drugs or something to GIVE HER A REASON TO THINK I'M BAD!

But no. I'm not. I'm not that kind of person. The very fact that I haven't done anything like that should be proof enough! Wouldn't you think??

But's never enough. And it never will be. NEVER!
You all look at me like I'm crazy when I say I don't have a myspace, or can't go out with my friends to the movies alone, or doing anything NORMAL KIDS DO! ABD THE ONLY THIONG I CAN SAY IS "Sorry. It's my parents."

Do you see a pattern here? When you guys can't believe that I can't do anything fun, it's because you're like "What?? But she's such a good kid. It's not like she'll do anything bad!" (at least, that's what I hope you're thinking)

I'm a good kid. Period. There's not sarcasm, not joking, not nothing but the truth! And having fun isn't 'the parents letting their kids do anything they want.' It's the fact that the parents trust their kids to be good and make the right decisions and come home without a "police escort."

And guess what? They do! Every time! You guys are aloud to go places on your own all the time. yet I'm stuck with my parents and little brother who annoy me and won't let me have fun!

THAT'S ALL I WANT! TO HAVE FUN! TO BE WITH MY FRIENDS WHILE I STILL CAN BEFORE I GET SHIPPED OFF TO COLLEGE AND DON'T SEE THEM FOR 2O+ YEARS!

You only get to be young once. (great. I just started crying) So wouldn't think you should make the most of your youth before having to "become part of society" and worry about finances, and work, and kids, and life!! Sorry I haven't been on in such a long time! I've been so busy with softball, school, and everything else that I just haven't had the time to do anything.

I have a few new drawings I could upload, but I'm too cold and don't want to get up from my warm computer chair. =W=

I am also hoping to write soon. My fingers are just iching to write something new! But I have no ideas.

Well, I'm not sure if any of your remember my proposal in my last journals, but the time for it is way past, and I had no offers.
Since no one even considered it, I guess I can tell you now.

As of January 17th (I think. I just know it's sometime in mid-January) I've been on dA for two years. I've learned a lot and my art has really improved because of this place. I've met lots of great people and have even been watched by those who enjoy my work. So thank you, all, for this wonderful experience.

Because you'll be one step closer to figuring me out. I'm sure there are people out there who are always like "wth is with that wierd girl??", so here you go. Consider this a gimme.

So, where to start.......Well, I'll start with my likes and dislikes.

I love food, especially junk food and stuff that isn't good for you. Salad, you say? ICK! Sleeping in? That's not the life for me. Although, I find that wierd because I'm a very lazy person.
I am deathly afraid of spiders more than anything else in the world. I am also afraid of heights, going blind, losing my hands or becoming disabled in any way, shape, or form.

Simple enough, right?
Well, lets start treding into deeper waters.

Things you might not know about me......

I love running. I spent the first...what?......3 years of my elementary career just running. Recess? Running from the boys. PE? Trying to outrun all the other girls during warm ups. Tag? Oh yes! But over the years, my lazy-ness has over come that and I now have no stamina. D:

I also like making friends. I enjoy learning about other people and spending time with them. (I'll explain why this clashes with my personality later)

If someone were to ask me what my favorite quality about myself is, I would say my chest. Everyone hates me for it. >.>
My least favorite quality? The rest of my body. I'm fine with my height, but things like my hair, skinny noodle arms, etc, are things I'm not satisfied with.
The thing I hate the most out of anything on my body are my hereditary dark circles. Yes, hereditary. My mom's side of the family has them, and I unfortunately got them too.
So don't ever try to judge how tired I am ny the circles under my eyes. They're very misleading.

So, here's the messy part: my personality. -.-

Let me start by saying I have a superiority complex. This influences every other asspect of my personality.

For instance, lets say that everyone likes doing hand stands. Well as for me, I'll be thinking to myself, 'this is pointless. Anyone can do it. I bet I could even do it 10 seconds longer than anybody else.' So I'll go and try it, expecting to awe everyone. But, since I tend to overestimate myself, I won't even be able to get myself 2 feet off the ground and fall.

That's not so bad, right? Wrong. This is where the complications start.

Since I have a superiority complex, I'll be thinking to myelf after my hand stand: 'Everyone was ecpecting a lot from me, and I just made myself look like an idiot!' And I'll continue to beat myslef up.

This is where I get shy. And yes, I can be VERY shy. Since I overestimate myself in everything, I'll think that when meeting people they'll think I'm epic fail. So that's why it's very hard to talk to me if I hardly know you. This plays in to my 'wanting of a lot of friends' I was talking about earlier. The more friends I have and get to know, the less shy I'll be. But my shyness doesn't allow me to just make friends all willy-nilly.

If you blow this into perspective of everydays life, then you'll see why I am so wierd. I may even seem very unfriendly at times, and I'm sorry for that. If I hardly know you and you try to talk to me, I'll shut down and act non-challant, like I don't care, and my voice becomes kinda like a mono-tone. If you notice me doing this to you, then you'll know that I'm uncomfortable and don't know what to do/say.

So, there's me in a nutshell. Did you live through it? Do you underdtand me a little better? If not don't worry about it. I left out a LOT of missing peices to the puzzle. But hey, I can't just pour out my entire life story. *shrugs*

I've been ok. Just trying to get through scholl without dying. Math is going to be own personal Grim Reaper. -_-

I hope I'll be able to improove a lot over the coarse of this new year. Not just with my drawings though (although that is where I want to improove the most), but with my writing, math, Japanese, and just everything overall. o.o (that's a lot of stuff, btw)

I got a new sketch book, so that'll hopefully be a good omen (or karma, or whatever you call it XD ) for my art. I'm littering its cover with pics (by my favorite artists) atm, so that's why I've been on dA all day.

Anyway, I actually needed to make a very important announcement.

I'm not sure if you all know, but about a month ago, I was offered to have my lineart made into characters (or draw new linearts) for an online rpg called Rising Lengends. When ZI read the note that was sent to me explaining a few of the details, I was ecstatic.

Anyway, I have been considering the offer to make sure thst its valid, to make sure its not a scam, and to make sure I will be able to do it. I finally made my decision, I will take up the offer.

However, I can't locate the note. I've checked and double checked my inbox and sent box, but I can't find a single trace of the note. If you are the one who sent me the message, please comment or speak up; I would like to continue discussing the details of the project and would like to take up your offer.

Anyway, I have exams coming up, and I have to take all of them. D: My lack of study skills will definately be my downfall. I hope I can at least make a B, because I'm not expecting any A's.

I was checking my messages when, in the botton-most left corner of the page, this dA news article cought my eye.

As I was reading this, I thought it was going to be sad. But as I read on, I found that this is the most moving articles I've read here.

Normally, (which means 98% of the time) I am pretty pessimistic about the future's coming generation(s). Why? Because from what I've observed so far, the youth just seems to be going downhill. (downhill, that is, in courtesy, common sense, intelligence, and just simply being a kid)

But things like that article, it gives me a small bit of optimism. Like, maybe it won't be so bad. Or, maybe some of the kids are actually worth hoping for. That little six year old has made his way into the 2% of my heart that still believes in the coming generation(s).

So, please, read it. It is pretty moving and really inspiring. Maybe it'll teach a few of you a thing or two.

Why did I submit something I wrote? Because I love writing and have been writing for a long time now. I have been considering becoming an author/writer for the past 4 or so years, and want to get serious about my hobby. I want to write in the most affective way I can so I can get my stories across.

About four years ago, when my house was in the process of being built, we hired a company to lay down our wood flooring. But, before you put anything on a concrete foundation, you must ceil (sp?) it so no water seeps through whatever you lay down. So, what did they not do? Yup; they didn't lay down any ceilant. Now, for the past four years, water and mold have been coming up through our wood and has been making it buckle. So, we had to replace it, right? Well, as much as my parents love our wood, we couldn't replace our wood for 3 reasons.
1. The type of wood we bought only has 8 cases left in the world, and that's not enough to replace all the wood in our house.
2. If we had decided that we wanted to put in a different type of wood, it would cost more money than we have.
3. My parents don't want to risk the same problems again with another wood floor.
So, what did we get instead? Tile. And I'm trying to complain or anything, but I hate it. Downright hate it. Why? because our wood was pretty and now we're going to have bland tile. And because it's now really hectic around my house.
Workers are constantly coming in and out and we have to move all of our furniture. Then once the tile is down, we have to wait a day or two before we can walk on it so it can dry.

Fun fun.....

Anyway, my project is coming along slow. I still have a lot to do and it's got to be done by Tuesday.

But enough about that. What I really wanted to say waaaaassss.......Is gots a insperationz!

But I'm not going to give away what I got inspired to draw. Why? Because it'll be like a "project." (which means: it consitsts of many different pieces that are related to each other by their themes, subjects, characters, etc)

And, random question that I would really, really, really liked answered.
