On another note, I think I've found an OCT to entertain myself with over the summer - ~betaOCT
It seems like a bit of fun, and I thought I'd advertise it here because it's going to feature an old favourite who I've been working on bringing back the deadline for auditions is the 5th June as well, so that gives me plenty of time to focus on getting my exam done well, and having the week after it for partying, then I can work on my audition and reference sheet when I come home.

I have literally JUST THIS SECOND ordered two awesome DVDs and two awesome books of play.com, which I can't wait to watch and read. I have acquired for myself the 25th Anniversary 3-Disc Special Edition of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the entire first series of Biker Mice From Mars! HELL YES! As for the books I've bought myself The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z, both by Max Brooks, and I've been itching to read both of them after reading a couple of sections from each online at various sites. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEM ALL ARRIVE!

Meanwhile, to entertain both you and myself, here are a collection of equally awesome pictures relevant to what I have bought. AWESOME.

You may have noticed my newest comics, The Epicus series - I just decided to make something that was as epic as possible, containing as many epic things as I could stuff in there, so needless to say there will be more added as time goes on! Here are the four comics I have done so far:





In my search for all things epic, I have come across some awesomely epic artwork here on deviantART, which I heavily advise you check out right now, as it will be good for you and your epic levels, which shall rise drastically.

Firstly, while this film is obviously supposed to be about Wolverine and his epic and frankly looooong past - he's around 120, I think - not a lot happens in the past. It all sort of happens after the interesting bits of the past, so we don't really get to see any extended scenes of Wolverine and his brother Sabretooth (I warned you about spoilers) dicking all over enemies in the war of independence, or in the first or second world wars. Sure, we get a little bit over which the opening credits can roll, but nothing substantial. I guess it's because it had to be a 12A rating that we don't get any serious war-time bits, but still, a little more would have helped characterise both Logan and Victor (that's Sabretooth's real name - cool, isn't it? Better than Logan's real name - James. Might as well call him Lames and get it over with.)

Secondly, yes this film is basically titled Wolverine, but it would have been nice to give some of the other characters some more screentime. Too many characters in this movie came and went in a couple of scenes, before any attachment could be made between them and the audience, and before they could do anything awesomely cool. A few examples are Fred Dukes (The Blob), Remy LeBeau (Gambit) and Wade Wilson (later to be known as Deadpool). The last two especially disappointed me, not with the acting or with how the characters matched up with their comic-counterparts, but purely because they didn't get enough screentime to show off their bloody characters! We got about three or four scenes in total featuring Gambit, when most people watching have been waiting to see him since the first X-Men film came out.

It should be noted when I'm talking about Deadpool in the previous paragraph, I mean the Deadpool that is actually Wade Wilson, seen earlier in the film with a mouth, two swords and some awesome Deadpool-esque lines. We got to see what I have dubbed the "real" Deadpool (I use that term so loosely, because there are several different Deadpools that are and aren't addressed in this film, but that's off the point right now) for only one or two scenes before he disappears and we're told he's been killed. Then we're treated to what I call the "Origins: Wolverine Deadpool". When the figure that was once Wade Wilson appeared from behind those blast doors and he looked squarely into the camera, I felt a pang of sadness and pity for him. Those eyes were hollow, a certain sadness welled beneath them that just couldn't be set free, no matter how much he wanted to crack jokes about how his blades were longer than Logan's.

But I suppose that's how I'm supposed to feel - Wade was a lovable character, and to see him like that makes me feel genuinely sad for him. It is then through his defeat at the hands of Wolverine (and through a secret post-credits ending that wasn't shown in our particular cinema, which was buggeringly annoying) that he becomes the Deadpool of the comics, his dismembered body reaching for its head before Deadpool's disembodied head opens itss eyes at us and softly tells us to "Sshhh..." which is so delightfully Deadpool that I couldn't help but smile when I watched it on youtube.

Also, the adamantium bullet thing? I thought that when adamantium met adamantium it would just ping off each other like Wolverine's claws are SHOWN DOING EARLIER IN THE MOVIE, but apparently not. I guess that was just the best way of making Logan forget everything that they could think of, short of making something ridiculous up like using some weird lady with silly psychic powers to wipe his memory clean - I mean, how stupid and out of place would that be in the Marvel universe? Oh wait...




Well, in all honesty, not that much. Though I will say I love the new option to save CSS skins for journals, rather than copying the whole thing and it being a right pain. So that's nice.




Speaking of Pokémon, some awesome, mind-blowing news crossed my screen the other day,with the internet announcing an updated version of Pokémon Silver and Gold. Immediately my interests were piqued - I mean, what honest Pokémon player can say that after playing the first generation games, when Silver and Gold came out, did it not completely blow your minds? And weren't the Pokémon just BADASS?!? The answer, of course, is yes to both those questions, which is why I have become ecstatic at the news of Pokémon Heart Gold and Soul Silver for the Nintendo DS, which will apparently be in Japanese stores in autumn, meaning us in the West might be lucky enough to expect it for Christmas. Which would be simply kickass.

That's all really, I apologise for my lack of activity, as it is essay and exam season in University, and as such I can't devote as much time to art as I'd like to. Still, I've got a few more Randome pics in mind, as well as plenty of quotes to craft some more StickLife Chums, and I should be submitting more for the tournament, which you should all join. All in all, my Ebon Spire audition is 11 pages long, and if all goes well I'll have them all inked today, then I can scan and colour them tomorrow to get them in before the deadline on Sunday. Since midnight their time is 4pm my time, it'd be a bit of a fucker trying to get all the work done on Sunday in about four hours. And that'd be if I was lucky enough to wake up at midday. Which we all know wouldn't happen.

[PROGRESS REPORT 2]
It's all going well, some awesome action scenes, some epic displays of emotion, and more along those lines. I'm on the page just before the Spire makes it's appearance and I've already got around eight pages, so it's turning out to be one of my longest comics ever. Suppose it has to be good to get me in
Stay tuned, it's almost all there, and then I just have to ink it and scan and colour it all. It'll hopefully be up soon, but most likely next week, since I'm going to New York for the weekend!

I've got around five or six pages of my audition pencilled (I can't remember and I've put it all upstairs now) and my god it's fun to draw again - my action shots are a little shoddy, but I'm back to my favourite kind of panelling, which is a simpler one.
I can't be bothered to try and do panelling akin to other, more experienced and enigmatic comic peoples, because I won't enjoy it and, as a result, neither will the readers. SO, this is strictly my own style, I'm doing it however I want to, and I feel awesome for it
I'm pencilling, inking and colouring all my pages in one go, so expect it all in one huge uploadathon one day! I can't wait to show you all, I'm actually getting excited about this again, it reminds me of IF!

So I work and work on my audition today, but I don't get too far. I realise I've become even worse at drawing, and then my mate comes over, so we sit down and watch 21 with Kevin Spacey (good film, go see it), and now I'm upstairs and in bed. All in all, an epic fail on my part. SIGH.

So, I'm going to keep what I've got and use it for another tournament - does anyone know any other tournaments that are happening soon? Preferably a fighting one, and super-preferably a fantasy one, but it doesn't have to be. Maybe this could be the chance for me to get into Ebon Spire, but ONLY IF enough people urge me to get in on it.

So, the deadline for the Oberon's Garden OCT is midnight tonight, and so far I've submitted - NOTHING FOR IT. Except the scraps. But those don't count. Luckily I've started and pencilled one and a half pages of my audition so far, so I've just got to pencil, ink, scan and colour the rest of the audition, which, considering I dont know how long it's going to be, could take a while.

Ah well, I'm damn well going to try, because I want in on this contest!

Since I'll be going on Easter holidays soon, that means no uni to get in the way of me doing art and having fun. Except for three essays to write - that's a collective total of 10,500 words - but that shouldn't be too hard. And seeing my girlfriend. And going to New York for my mum's birthday. And seeing friends. But apart from all that, there'll be more art!

Well there'll have to be if I want to get into Oberon's Garden - I've gotta get the reference and audition in by the 31st March, so I've gotta get my arse in gear. I'm already working on the reference, so that's ok, and I've got an idea for the audition comic, just gotta actually start working on it.

So, I've decided that I want to enter Oberon's Garden, being hosted by ~Ganondorfthethird - here's the link: [link]

I've chosen to get involved with this for a number of reasons - firstly, I bloody love fantasy, and I've wanted to do a strictly fantasy-based OCT ever since I entered Infractus Fatality, and now I get a chance to get involved with one. Secondly, it's delightfully witty and the sense of humour surrounding this entire thing is great, and thirdly the fact that any kind of OC can enter this - even ones from a sci-fi background - and that just adds a whole new level of awesome. Fourthly, I can make as many Warcraft jokes as I like. Yays for nerdility.

I far prefer the word nerdility to nerdiness. Sounds better to me.

Anywho, I'm gonna put up a poll, asking people what they want to see from me in this tournament. It's pretty much asking about the character I'm going to use, but here's some info of interest that should be...interesting to you. I'll be doing this in a style that allows me to do entries quickly and easily, because really I have far more pressing things to attend to rather than this - namely university and not failing at life - so I won't be giving this my full attention. However, that does not mean I won't be trying hard, as I'll be entering to win. It just means that the style and art might suffer a little, and I will have to experiment for now with styles that save me time and are easy to replicate. Also, I'm buying a new pen for my tablet, so I'll be able to use that again. Happy days.

So, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions on styles or techniques that are fun, quirky, yet relatively easy to do, whether they be classic drawing techniques and tips or digital things I can do, then by all means throw them at me. And as always, enjoy!

I get to disappoint everyone again! Oh joyous day!

Bottom line, I've missed a whole lot of lectures and seminars at uni, and now they've threatened to throw me out if I don't start going more often. My rents have been notified, and they came down and we all had a big chat and decided on a huge structured, week-long timetable which requires me to be in uni from 10:30am to 5pm doing reading and work, which has worked really well today, so I'm going to keep it up.

All this means that I will be restricting the amount of time I do art to the weekends (if I'm lucky and up for it) and possibly weekdays after uni if I don't have any essays to write or extra work to do. So basically, my art is fucked at the moment, and SoulBane has been scrapped until...I don't know. But I might keep up the old StickLife Chums, because I can get one of those done in a couple of hours, so I might bust those out at the weekends. Still thinking of getting those into the newspaper. But I'd have to do them long-ways, not the 2x2 blocks as I am at the moment.

So that's pretty much it, nothing new to really report except that my life is actually getting back on track and I feel awesome for it, and I'll try and keep this active. I might get a new, more professional account that I can put on posters and stuff to advertise poster-making and StickLife Chums, so this account might become null and void. We'll see.

Well, right now I'm sat in my housemate's room watching him, two of my other housemates and another mate owning at Gears of War. They're playing through the Horde thing on this pretty hard level - I can't remember what it's called - and all the mayhe, gore and yelling is all very manly and inspiring! Nothing quite like being a man! HURRRRRRR! On a side note, I also just ate the cooked carcass of a bird. Yes it was a roast, but it sounds more manly the way I said it. Hurrrr and all that.

Also, I know I didn't post on Happy Fluffy Love Day, but I was out most of the day with mates and playing an epicly awesome jam or legendary wickedness, where we created another kickass song, so that was damn near the greatest tune ever created. I didn't get to see my girlfriend at all over the weekend as she was shooting a music video, but she's going to come down something during this week, hopefully Thursday. Which makes me very happy indeed ^_^

Finally, I've actually done something useful while I've been sat here watching the epic gaming - I've written the script for the first chapter of SoulBane! Yes, the first eight pages have been successfully written, and I know that's a pretty short chapter, but it's really just a "here are two characters" chapter. The next one will detail Quade's story, which is a very interesting story indeed. Still, I can't wait to get working on the first page, but I really can't be bothered right now. Colouring the scenery and background is going to be interesting because my tablet's not working, but I'll mess around and see what I can do that works. Any suggestions?

Excuse the military puns, I'm in a strangely silly mood

Anywho, SoulBane is coming along nicely, got to do some scripting now and work out the first chapter, which should hopefully introduce Isabelle and Quade and reveal a bit of backstory about them and the world. So all in all, going ok at the moment. I do have two essays to do for the same week as the release date, but I'm not changing them yet unless I have to.

In other news a few of my housemates are now part of the BioChemistry Society at university, which pretty much just involves all of the biochem students getting together, going out and getting drunk. As such, I'm being commisioned to do some posters and the logo design for the whole thing, so hopefully I'll get some more of that kind of stuff - which should help me get into advertising in the long run! So everything's going pretty well at the moment!

So, one of the major decisions concerning my newest comic project has been decided for me - I was going to post a poll asking whether you would prefer me to do it cel-shaded or for me to push myself and do it more realistically, but it seems that my tablet has decided to crap out on me.

It would seem that it is stuck on a mode where the pen in constantly pressing down on the tablet, even when I'm just hovering above it moving around. This means all I can do is highlight text constantly or manage to grab and move pictures aimlessly, or draw those silly squares on my desktop. It's a Wacom Graphire4 Classic XL, I'm running Mac OS X Leopard, and I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the software, as well as looked for drivers that might help, none of which has sorted it out. I think it might be a problem with the hardware, maybe the pen has gone, I just don't know.

Basically, could anyone help? I really don't want to fork out for a new pen or - god forbid - a new tablet just to find that I could have sorted it out myself. But for now it looks like I have no choice but to do it cel-shaded. Still, let me know if you'd rather I did it realistically, I'm interested to see what people want. Bearing in mind this is a big project, and hopefully a weekly-update jobby with serious plots and points to make.

After a somewhat boring absence from deviantART, I want to get back on the scene, and I might have something that'll do that with style.

I've been brainstorming, dreaming and writing for a while now on an idea for a comic - I thought about making it a novel, but I didn't think it would translate that well into a novle format and I've got other ideas for a book. Plus, by doing it in a comic I get to improve my art skills. I really want to work on my anatomy, my panelling and perspective shots of characters, as well as expression work and colouring in photoshop. I don't know whether I would do it cel-shaded or try and push myself to do a more artistic shading with my tablet.

I've still got a lot to do - I've come up with the concept and a backstory for one of the main characters, as well as some ideas for a few scenes I would like to include, but I still need to work on other characters, a few plots to include and I need to draw the characters and figure out what they're going to look like. This is going to be a big thing for me, and I'm going to try and update it each week, a page at a time most likely.

A word of warning - this is going to be a relatively serious comic. Of course I'll be including my own brand of humour, and as such they won't be strictly dark and depressing, just serious and dealing with big, serious issues. I can't reveal too much at the moment, but I can say that it's going to be fantasy based - not seriously out-there fantasy with crazy-ass spells and swords and amazing races, incomprehensible languages and environments that just couldn't ever exist, just loose fantasy, with a few of these elements but done to a more believable degree, or so I hope I'll achieve.

I still haven't come up with a name for the damn thing either, and I want it to reflect the effort I went into making this a serious, decent comic. Expect some of my brainstorming and sketch sheets up soon, hopefully by the end of next week. And feel free to ask questions, you might get lucky and I might just drop some hints and info

Well, I just can't do it - I can't be bothered to mess up my university education any more than I already have by sacrificing time to my art, which is a shame, but it's necessary. I'm not giving up dA in any sense of the word, I just can't enter *EscapeFromNevara

This means that I'll be able to focus more on work and my StickLife Chums comics, which my housemates suggested I tried to get published in the local newspaper, since they're a bit better than the ones in there at the moment. Of course, they'd have to be more based around things other people would get, rather than just stupid personal things, but I think I could pull it off - such as in my latest comic.

So apologies to everyone who was looking forward to seeing Killbane and my participation in the tournament - I probably wouldn't have got in, but you never know - and I'll probably put up a picture or a few of Killbane just to show off what the manliest wizard ever looks like.

Just gonna check in and say that I'm working on Killbane, and said work is progressing nicely. He's looking badass, now I'm just getting some drawings done for a reference sheet. Then I can get to work on my audition. Christ.

So, I've been throwing some ideas around lately, thinking things over, and I really don't think I can make an entry into :devescapeformnevara: with Vincent either funny or interesting any more. I've tried, but my well of Vincent-like jokes appears to have run dry, which is a bit of a bugger. SO!

I have drafted a new character who is sillier and more bloodthirsty than Vincent. "OMFGZ, someone who actually wants to fight in EfN?!!?!11!" I hear you say - and my answer is yes, my new character is not only slightly sadistic, but he's sadisticly funny as well. HE WILL KILL JOO WIFF HUMOUR!

Of course, this means I'll have to completely redraw my audition, but since my one with Vincent wasn't that great anyway, I'm not realy fussed. I'm terribly sorry to all those who wanted Vincent to take place in the big IF reunion, but since Vincent only met about four people, most of whom aren't competing with the characters that he met, it wouldn't have been much of a ruinion for him.

So keep watch for my new EfN OC, who I am most likely going to be calling Killbane the Fallen - yes, that's right, he's that badass. He's going to challenge me with my art as well, because he is a magic user, and as of yet I have not drawn or photoshopped any magic whatsoever, so this should be interesting!

EDIT: IT'S MY BIRTHDAY. END TRANSMISSION.

So, I've given myself an overhaul - got myself a new avatar, which I think is much better quality while still being absurd enough to warrant my self-procliamed title of Artisan of the Absurd. I've also given myself a fancy new ID picture which I love - mostly because I've drawn myself and it vaguely looks like me. I don't care if it's part of a long-past and short-lived dA meme, I still like it. Got to work on perspective as well, so it all worked out. Please let me know what you think of it all!

1. =Demonic-Apricot is a wonderful artist, able to take anything - even someone who uses crazy blood-arms and was the subject of horrific experiments - and make it sweet and instantly likeable. I heavily advise you check out her art, because she's an artist of many talents!


2. =SabieMoonbeam is a genuinely lovely person with a great, quirky style that always makes me smile! Her work with expressions far surpasses mine, and it's refreshing to see a gallery full of exciting, fun characters!


3. ~xxxLalo has an amazing manga style that is laced with emotion and depth - you can positively feel the pictures and their moods leaping out at you, where they grab hold and don't let go. She's a great person and a great artist!


4. =Golden-Silver has a great style that I love - it ranges from a delightfully sketchy style to detailed cartoons with lots of expression and action. His characters are full of life and intrigue, and if you're lucky enough to have him draw one of your characters, you won't leave disappointed!

So, I'm thinking of changing my avatar - the crazy little icon thing that says "I Farted" with badly drawn stickmen on it, for those less web-geeky among us - but I'm not entirely sure what I should do. As such, I have decided to ask you, my friends and loyal viewers, what I should have instead.

You may have seen that I have created a poll for this - so please, go and vote, and most of all PLEASE SUGGEST WHAT I COULD USE INSTEAD. It's all well and good saying you want to see something different or not, but I don't know what you want unless you actually tell me. So please, let me know.

The reason for this change of avatar and of heart - you might also have seen I changed my identity from Deviant: Procrastinator to Artist: Cartoonist - it because I want to start being taken a little more seriously. Sure, I'll still be posting the silly, immature humour that I am known for both on this site and in real life, but I want to be seen as more than just an immature goof, hap-hazardly putting together pictures for the hell of it and just throwing them up online for kicks and internet fame. I want to start welcoming critiques, and helpful advice, and I want to start making my art better and progressing from where I am now to somewhere I want to be, with a style that I am really happy with.

As such, I'll start uploading more complex works to this site, and I have decided I'm more of a one-off artwork kind of guy, as consitency is not a strong point with me - it's something I need to work on to become a better artist. I'll most likely start doing this after my stint in *EscapeFromNevara as I want to concentrate on that first and see if I can get in and if I do, see if I can actually get past the first round.

There are so many amazing artists on here, and I know I won't ever be able to produce amazing digital paintings like some, or amazing vector works like others, just because I'm lazy enough to stay within my capabilities, but I want to push those capabilities until I'm at a stage that I really and truly love. I'm almost there, I just need to push it a bit more and become a respected member of the artist community.

I know this may sound stupid and like a cry for attention, but I am a 20 year old univeristy student with more pressing and important matters than internet fame to concern myself with - I am doing this for me and you, my viewers, and I hope I'll enjoy your help and support as I do it. So we've rolled over into 2009, after a quite frankly awesome 2008 - for me at least, most people seem to be quite happy to get rid of the past year, but for me it was a blast. Moved into a house with my mates at university, have had several awesome times with them and my mates from back home, and generally had a good year. Here on deviantART I participated in my first OCT, ~InfractusFatality which meant I met loads of awesome artists and got talking to them, made a whole host of friends and finally started using this site properly.

While I look forward to 2009, I do wish time would slow down a bit, because I'm finding these years are progressing at an increasingly alarming rate, and I don't want things to be over before they've begun. Still, guess I've got to live for the moment, learn from and relive the past, and appreciate the future.

Also, look forward to my audition for *EscapeFromNevara soon - I'll be back at university on the tenth, so from then I'll have access to my scanner. I really need to work a bit more on it though, so it might take a bit of time to get the whole thing up. Still, watch this space!

After just randomly typing in that title, I realise it can be relevant to this journal in a number of ways now god my subconscious is awesome. I must thank it sometime by killing it with more alcohol.

Anywho, Merry Christmas and all that, have a blast and I hope you all got what you wanted - I'm sorry I didn't post on the day, but I had better things to do than spend it glued to a screen. I got a surround sound system, which was awesome and is going in my room at uni, but after the New Years party. Don't want to ruin it while I'm thanking my subconscious.

First means of digging up the past is the sheer number of Infractites entering *EscapeFromNevara and most of them with their actual Infractus characters, which is going to be awesome - Vincent's gonna be pissed he wasn't alone in Letalis.

Secondly, I've remembered an old character I used to RP with who creates and uses sound as a weapon, who I'll start using on here. There's another one who weilds a keytar, but he'll come later.

It's been a hell of while since I've done anything like this, so my audition comic is...less than good at present. But I hope to get better as I go, and I'm already having a blast recreating Vincent XD

I've become a beta-tester! You can notice by the fancy equals sign next to my name, and by the fancy new layout of my page! I think it looks rather spiffy, what do you think? What I really want to do now is design my own journal CSS, which I am planning to do once I get back to uni, but after I've completed my audition for *EscapeFromNevara

Speaking of which, that tournament is shaping up to be quite a doozy - over 100 applicants?! I'm really going to have to up my game, I'm really quite worried. There are some awesome artists entering, far better than I, and some amazing storytellers and writers, who can out-write and out scheme and plot things in a far more accomplished manner than myself. And to top it off, I'm pretty sure there are some funnier people in this thing as well. So, in Vincent's immortal words - balls.

I really hope I can get a decent audition put together and in on time. But, I suppose everyone can't make it in - such is the nature of the OCT. Keep and eye open, and I'll let you guys know what happens.

In the mean time, I'm back home for the holidays now, and I can't do any artwork because I don't have an available scanner - so I'll be pencilling and hopefully/maybe inking things in before I go back in January.

As you may or may not be aware, I am planning to enter *EscapeFromNevara which is shaping up to be quite an epic tournament indeed. I mean Jesus, I've looked through the reference sheets and auditions and there are a very large proportion of very talented artists in there. I mean seriously talented, like comics that look awesome and characters that look badass or cute or just amazing in general. Which has got me worried, to say the least.

You also may or may not be aware that I'm entering Vincent into this tournament, but a word of caution - he is not the same Vincent as he was in Infractus Fatality. He's not even the same Vincent in my Vincent Vin'Syl II artwork in my gallery. No, he's going to be older, and have had far more life experience, which also involves a more-than-adequate share of the ugly side. Vincent's been stuck in Letalis for around ten years now, meaning he's now 29 - I didn't put an age down on the reference sheet, so I'm going to assume he's the same age as I was when I took part in IF - and those ten years have changed him, and quite drastically.

However, don't worry because he will still be cracking wise about things of a humorous nature in the sarcastic, lethargic way we have come to know and love from him - the above information really just gives him leave to be more real, a genuine person with a genuine personality - albeit a new, gruff personality - and, possibly most importantly, a backstory. Yes, things have happened to Vincent in Letalis that have made quite the impact, and he's made a few impacts himself. His powers have evolved and changed, and so has he.

Really, this was just a heads up to let you all know what's going on with me and Vincent, and to pique some interest in *EscapeFromNevara because you really should enter it - it's looking awesome! The other reason for this journal is to say that I've pimped out my blog! I'm starting to post more regularly, every day or so, and I've given it a new look. So click the link at the top of this journal - or any of my journals - or the link under my deviant ID to learn about me, what I find online, what I look like, the usual stuff like that. I don't know if anyone's tagged me, and I can't really be arsed to look, but I want to do this before I go to sleep.

The instruction book for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Seriously, that was the closest reading material, and I can't be bothered to get up and go find a real book. And page 18 was a map, so I went back until there was a page with writing - ended up two pages earlier.

A clean tea towel that was put on my drying rack about a week and half ago. It's not even my tea towel, it's just been left here, neglected and slowly getting dirtier in my presence.

Christ, I think it was Scrubs at my girlfriend's house in London. Either that or it was Friends, one of the two. Both American sitcoms I enjoy, they all kind of mush into one cacophany of noise in my brain.

3:27am, so not bad. Shame I looked at the clock a while ago to give me some bearing, otherwise this could have actually been hilariously wrong.

My clocks ticking. Seriously, it's 3:27am, there's not a lot going on in the suburbs of Brighton.

Earlier today when I left my girlfriend's house to come back here. Joy and woop, that's one of the things I'd least like to be doing, in all honesty.

Stupid flash videos on Newgrounds, mostly the Xombie series. It's pretty good, you should check it out.

9. What are you wearing?
A white long sleeved t-shirt that should have been washed, jeans that haven't been washed in over two weeks (probably coming up to a month now), fingerless gloves that have never been washed (really, who washes gloves anyway?) some yellow SpongeBob socks that really need a wash (if you laugh you don't appreciate the genius) and some already used boxers that need a wash. Overall, I look like a hobo. Or a university student.

10. Did you dream last night?
Hell yes, I dreamed vividly, and it was great. Not going to tell you though. The question didn't ask that now, did it?

11. When did you last laugh?
Earlier, talking to the housemates as I got in. People went to bed shortly afterwards, so not a lot of frivolity and tomfoolery to laugh at tonight.

12. What are on the walls of the room you are in?
My various film and tv show posters, a picture of my year at college, a mirror because I'm devilishly handsome and I love reminding myself of that fact, a notice board that I don't notice at all, and a World of Warcraft calendar. Don't laugh, the artwork is awesome.

13. Seen anything weird lately?
My room's weird in the sense that it's more squalid and messy than I am. I have a rug in the middle of the floor but it's hard to see because of various clothes, food, dishes and other crap all over it. I should clean it soon. Should. Soon.

Something to do while I drearily get tired at a decent time for once. I am sick of staying up all night and falling asleep at 7am, I miss too much.

Hancock, found it online somewhere and watched it with my girlfriend just before I left. Not bad, but Smith needs to land a funny role that carries on being funny throughout the whole film.

Hell, I'd shove it in a high-interest bank and make that into billions, splurge some of it on a custom built house - I'd commision my brother to design it, since he's training to be an architect - buy some nice cars, some crap cars that I want, and I'd go on a few holidays, buy some nice things for my family and my girlfriend and her family, and my friends. Other than that, leave it in the bank and live off the interest for the rest of my life - when you're getting upwards of £500,000 a year on interest alone, there's not much more you have to do. Yes, I've thought about this before. A lot.

So, I am bored - I'm not doing a lot around here, my uni work isn't keeping me that busy and I want something to do in my spare time. So, here's where all my faithful watchers and readers come in. Yes, that's you, my wonderful friend ^_^
