I watched Where The Wild Things Are a few days ago, it's just...exactly as they described it would be...at times terrifying, other times terribly sad and at other times still...beautiful, full of joy. It just, i don't know, i love those sorts of movies - like Millions and August Rush. Yet this one, it gave a more startling image of being a child. More, i felt it delt with feelings like depression, deep sadness and not knowing or understanding why you're a certain way. That sometimes you scare yourself. It was powerful and I suggest evryone sees it.
Another powerful thing is this book I've read called Hot Nights. Cool Dragons. It is, just, there really aren't any words to describe it. It talks about everything as though everything has a soul and a way, it is about these jazz players that are descendants of dragons. And you can actually hear their music thru the words. Even more odd was that I couldn't read it during the day, like, it was just so much more easy and right to read it late at night. Which is what most of the book was based in, late on hot summer nights. I suggest that you check it out.
Now, I've finished school, graduated and I'm going to get into a lot of projects next year i think. Here is a list:

1. Find a cookbook by some famous person and each day make one recipe, documenting it. (i know, like the movie )
2. Continue working on my island books (u can ask me about them, if u want
3. Finally invent the most beautiful object in the world
4. Make my own wings.

Yeah, so, as well as getting a job at a library or movie theatre or something, taht's what I'll do

It was 40 $ and I actually barganed with the guy to give it to me for $30! Down side is that I could only get it in nintendo format and I have no nintendo's. Again I ask, has anyone got any spare nintendo's they're willing to give up???
Secondly, I finished writing my actual series, sorry to all my close friends like novran, shadowroseburdened and guardlianeverlimore (please, please forgive me if I spelt your deviant name wrong)who I haven't told sooner but I did. And now I have nothing to really focus on...
Yes, other than these things I am looking forward to seeing The Boy in the Striped Pj's this coming weekend and the following weekend, X-Men Origins: wolverine.
Well, I am now officially seventeen years old. I still don't feel any different. Yes, so my birthday was just...awesome. I'd have to say it was almost a two day party. First day was on sunday where my friends novran, guardlianevermore and shadowroseburdened came over to my place and we had a Japanese themed dinner party! The food actually turned out really good - a whole three course meal of miso soup, sushi, marinated egg and salmon and tea and cake! We hung out late into the night and truthfully, it was just...wonderful. Thank you my friends for making it great and worthwhile. Like...everything was Japanese to an extent; the decorations, the many candles and lanterns, the cloths, the low table surrounded with cushions...it will definately remain in my memory.
Second night was on monday! My parents let me stay home from school and sleep in (a present in itself I thought!). So that was good. Then for the rest of the day I hung out until night where my family and I went out to dinner at the Pink Poodle restaurant. (The food was really good )
And as for presents...I got so many gift vouchers!!!! About twenty dollars worth of itunes money and many gift vouches to the entire of Robina! To mostly any store. (I got other stuff too, books, DVD's, makeup, belts etc... Thankyou all for the gifts )
So anyway it has been great and gosh, it was such a big weekend. I even went to novrans party on Friday! So it was like three parties in one.
Yes, it was a great time, now back to boring old school and library work. However, despite the fact that I don't feel that different, my mind is beginning to accept the fact that I'm older. I mean, I can start driving at any time, next year I will have finished school and had a formal, I will have stopped youth at my church (since you can only be a 'youth' to go to youth. Which is kinda sad I guess! I still don't know what I'll do next year, all I can believe happening is anything to do with writing.
Anyway, yes, it has been good.

Well guess what everyone, my book: The Golden Dragon Series - The Beginning of an End, has finally become published! I recently recieved copy one of the story and there are more copies being sent to me.
Yet this is only the beginning, there are still four books more to go. But I shall leave that to talk about later. I don't know what to say other than the fact that it is all very surreal.
In two weeks my book will be available online and I think in some stores for 9.00 dollars each. So I'll let you know when this happens. Thanks by the way to all my friends unknown and known who have supported me and helped.
Well let me tell you, I never expected to arrive here, in the last year of my entire school life. I'm going into year 12 this year and cannot say whether or not I'm excited or nervous or both.
Now what I'm unsure about is what I'll do after I finish. Basically it's all a jumble of ideas that could take place soon or much later in my life. Here are some ideas so far that I have:

- Get my whole series (The Golden Dragon Series) published.
- Eventually have the series become a movie series.
- Found a college campus for creative writers of all types. As in the present world there are no major places that hold courses for creative writers - only journalism.
- Travel around the world.
- Write new books.
- Become a task leader in an American summer camp. (there are things like this available via the internet)
- Live in Adelaide with a friend or friends as room-mate.

Well that's all I can think of so far. Yeah, thought I'd do a different journal instead of keeping the old one.

Sunlight shimmered and dropped into the girls line of vision like a blossom reopening as the garden came into view. Her footfalls seemed to hang motionless in the air as, looking around, her eyes cast over the black, crystal-like dragon.
The crystal appeared to ring out a tune that firstly came as a soft melody. Yet before long, the seemingly harmless sound rose in pitch and volume until it seemed as though the very air would shatter. The girl screaming in pain at the sound.
Suddenly, the stone dragon shattered, shards of black crystal cutting through the atmosphere like knives towards the terrified girl. The fragments hit, cutting into her mind and heart, yet leaving no scratch on her body.
The girl cried as the now alive dragon attempted to communicate to her in a series of unending high pitched notes. Suddenly, all disintegrated into the form of a man; tall, slim and handsome. With a smile he helped the dark haired girl to her feet, taking her into an embrace. (By SweetMahartaSongbird)
..........................................

This young man, so tall and proud, led the girl away through the confined space to another room. The room was full of bright lights, all beaming down at her. The young girl shook, as she was nervous as to what may happen next. At the top of the light, the girl could see a...a dragon!
I'm at a loss,

for some reason i've recently become obsessed with creating the most beautiful object in the world.
It would be like an egg shape, made out of wood and the top half would host four miniture lights that shine out of slits and the base would consist of water that is held in a glass, half egg shape. These would then be covered by the wood.
Wat i really wanted tho was to create a light that sustains itself, can't run out and lights up in the dark only. I also wanted to make the water unable to be evaporated and i wanted the egg to have music that only played at night, in the dark.
It seems to be the only thing i can think of at the moment and it just has to be possible-even if i spend my entire life trying to create this, someday, i will. Please-if anyone knows any tips or ideas or wat causes a lightbulb to shine-please let me know.

Can't believe how much i LOVE Tesla. Probably havnt evr heard o him. He, was way better than Edison, he outsmarted Edison and helped edison with mostly all of his ideas, practically creating the lightbulb, not to mention the radio!!!
(Please don't mind that i'm obsessed with this guy.)
He made the plans to create anti-gravity war ships, to light up the sea at night, to create a Tesla coil, to make a doomsday weapon and even vehicles that are very similar to ufo's.

Seen, The Prestige? (Movie) he's in there, the short guy who builds that electricty machine that transports objects (Which he did actually create in real life)
Also, have u seen the new video clip of Silver Chair? 'If You Keep Loosing Sleep.' It's based on Tesla and his Tesla Coil, (big lightning machine.)
Hows this for a thought?...
Teslas plans for anti-gravity vehicles were taken by the government and announced as Top Secret. Imagine if people from Atlantis were sunk inside the bermuda triangle (also an obsession of mine) and became stuck in a time warp that allowed them to go forward in time to recieve the antigravity vehicle plans from tesla, travel back, build them, so creating UFO's, and that Atlantis people are ubducting people from earth to take to Atlantis to help them escape from the world.

An Earth Of Time.

A Light: a light fills the place where it is set,
breaking into jewels of fire on the pane of a window,
heaven itself has claimed this beauty,
a wonder, a gem that is God-breathed.
None can say where light originates, why it fills a place with joy,
yet it is loved by all-lest those who love darkness,
a spring of life in the form of air.

Rain: rain is the cool music of a thousand drops,
with joy they leap down to earth,
romance is found in pouring rain,
to dance in rain is a dream of most.
To all the rain speaks, a gift so wild, untamed,
just at the brush of a fingertip, yet separated by the real,
is Rain-a perfect gift.

A Wind: Throwing itself off the highest mountain, to brush its’ fingers on the leaves of trees,
a laughing bird of untamed beauty,
invisible yet in sight,
it whispers through the trees, songs of deep, a mere passing moment,
still for a second it laughs with glee,
throwing itself skyward.

A Tree: Holding all secrets,
they sit a thousand years in time,
hearing all they whisper their knowledge,
through the leaves that rise and fall,
a delight to young, a joy to climb,
their boughs bear many a footprint,
love is a tree, lest to He,
who is filled with majesty and kindness.

A Star: Extending upwards into endless beauty,
Galaxies of unknown origin,
are the stars that dance an endless dance,
through clear as crystal nights,
Burning through an eternity of life,
do the stars constantly watch,
as we move on unstopped.
Unearthly beauty, they are referred to by the King,
who names and knows every one,
He saw the stars at the beginning of time,
In all their young glory.

The King: Light is His robe,
The stars His servant, the wind,
messengers,
He is the lover of sinners,
Justice and righteousness,
The forgiver of all.
One look upon his glory is enough to make a blind man see,
He fills those who follow Him with a surge of fire,
an unbreaking spirit of strength and glee,
His love is everlasting,
it never began-it never ended.
Always existing, an everlasting God,
is the Ancient of Ages and Light.

The Light.

Prologue.

The pigeon flew through the open, wooden-paned window. Landing on the nearby bookshelf the pigeon cocked its head and watched as the elderly lady dressed in cotton sat down and opened the dusty, wooden backed book. Her amber eyes opened wide as if seeing in a new light and she leant into the light that streamed out of the book, the pigeon jumping in fright and taking to the air, circling the woman as she fell silent, a tear falling to her cheek as she grasped the pigeon with surprising swiftness and tied a rose pendant to the pigeons foot. Then the lady breathed her last breath and released the pigeon.

…Three months laterÂ

The girl sat crying bitter tears on the rooftop of her house. She held the crumpled note of her father that stated her transferal to the Mughock All Girls Boarding School. She was to leave in the morning. Her father believed that she was too dreamy and believed that putting her into a boarding school would put some sense into her. It wasn’t that she was lazy, it’s just that ever since her mother had died it seemed as if her father almost blamed her for what had happened. So in depression and guilt she had gone more and more into herself, protected from the cruel world. Her mother was thought to be dead but what really had happened was a chilling memory to the girl to this day; one night her mother, a beautiful, white haired, amber eyed lady came into the girls room, kissed her and left. In the morning she couldn’t be found anywhere. She had disappeared without any reason, an unexplainable mystery that still kept the girl wide awake at night.
Suddenly the girl was startled by a pigeon that landed nearby. Glancing over at the pigeon she noticed that it was struggling with a bit of wire attached to the roof. Cautiously the girl moved towards the trapped pigeon, the bird squawking in fright. The girl quickly started to gently click until the bird was calm enough for the girl to try and free it. To her surprise the girl found that there was a rose shaped pendant attached to the birds foot. After a few minutes of fiddling the bird was released and the girl had the pendant.
Looking at the pendant closely she could see that the rose was engraved with pearl drops. To the side of this rose was an engraved key that was shaped like a heart. Opening the pendant she stared and stared again. But no matter what she did the image didn’t leave. It was a photo of her mother, the pendant tied around her neck. In the blank other half of the rose the girl could see the inscription; ‘The place, a book, go into the light.’
In wonder the girl looked over towards the distant sea that lay across the many red and orange roofs of France. She had been out here all night and the first golden lights of dawn could be seen over the sea. She knew what the inscription said by the place, it was an old house that was situated right near the sea that was filled with dust, books and history. Her mother always used to take her there and it was known as The Place. What she didn’t understand was why the pendant had said the name of this hideaway. Was it possible this was a secret message from her mother to go there and somehow find what the pendant said was the book and the light. Something in her heart told her it was and that she had to get there as soon as possible.
Realizing that this was her last chance to discover where her mother was the girl placed the pendant around her neck, stood up and began to walk across her roof.
Throughout the early hours of the morning the girl made her way across the house rooftops. She stepped lightly, careful not to fall or to disturb the tiles. After almost half an hour the girl finally arrived at the place. She could see the grey-blue sea just before her, the salty breeze stinging her cheeks. Looking down the girl could see the house. It was actually one of the last two-part houses in this section of France. The base of the house was larger and only homeless people and pigeons lived there now, unaware of what lay above. The other section of the house was made up of just one room that ended in a balcony. The connection between each part of the house had been destroyed by a recent fire that burnt out almost all of the houses base. This left the top of the house deserted and forgotten.
With a sigh the girl carefully climbed down onto the balcony and slowly stepped into the open room;
Except for the waves crashing against the shore and the gentle rings of the shell chimes that hung by the balcony window the room was completely silent. Shafts of light stretched their fingers across the floorboards and dust was held suspended in the light. In the room was a single bed that was draped with a satin and white cotton embroidered sheet. While making up the rest of the room was piles and piles of books, scrolls, dusty boxes and many ob...
