Moved to scraps all of my old and/or really crappy stuff. I've been on an art kick lately and looking at some REAL traditional art inspired me to maybe start experimenting with colored pencils or photography again. I don't know, maybe I'll go back into practicing digital art. Whatever I feel like doing I guess.

Last night I couldn't sleep cuz I kept thinking up stuff I wanted to draw. So I stayed up til like 5 in the morning destroying my sketchbook with crap. I can't remember the last time I felt this inspired to draw stuff. I guess I just realized that I'm about to go into my junior year as an Animation major and I REALLY need to refine my skills if I'm going to make it. It also wouldn't hurt to actually ANIMATE stuff, lol. But that's really hard since I don't have the necessary equipment. I do have flash but I cant draw with a mouse worth crap and I don't have a tablet yet. When school starts back up I'm going to re-linetest my older animation exercises and put them up here. Next semester I have computer animation! Really excited about that, since I'll be producing stuff I can actually put on here without getting a headache converting stuff.

I'm still anticipating my Japanese Comickers book, which has some really amazingly unique manga artists in there, with steps on how they do their coloring techniques. I also ordered a comic anatomy book and the one I'm most excited about, DIGITAL MANGA WORKSHOP! It just came out a couple days ago and has techniques on how to CG stuff in different styles like airbrush and cell style. I can't wait! I'm really on a mission to improve!

BTW all these books are on Amazon if you want to check them out. I especially recommend Japanese Comickers for the artwork inside because I actually got to paw through that one at the bookstore. The rest I haven't seen inside yet.

Anyway enough of my ramblings for now...
