Or it is, perhaps, that they can see it, but they ignore it?

For me, the medical arts are a point of honor in my life.

The knowledge of life, the underpinnings of joy.
The blueprints of pain and fear.

I can see that, all too clearly.

And for me, it is sacred. I have given my oath of life to protect and understand life, no matter the cost!

But why everyone just seem to be oblivious to the pain of others, to their needs and fears? All of us have been children, and we were afraid to go to the doctor. All of us have mothers, fathers, children, someone who matters to us, someone who makes us worry. All of us have experienced pain and joy. All of us have been happy, and sad.

I have studied the body, in search of understanding.
I have tried to grasp the basics of the mind, looking for comprenhension.
I have gleaned a single letter of the name of the souls, longing for illumination.

I remember a time when I was a child. Ignorant, vulnerable, simple-minded, just fun to be around. I remember a time when I got to be an adult. Somewhat strong, worried, in pain but smiling. And I, once, could foresee a time when I matured as an elderly man. Wise, but frail...

And nobody sees to care for that mystery I have studied long and hard.

Nobody here respects life for what it is.
I have not seen nobody who embraces life with the wish of nourish it, making it better for everyone just out of desire... Or who can ever end suffering out of the purest mercy.
I have yet to see someone caring sincerely for a child not his or her own (excepting who has to be excepted, obviously)

Nobody can see the Life?
Nobody can understand its beauty?
Nobody can fall in deep love with it?
Nobody has the love to care, the empathy to end suffering?

Life has not a meaning. It is THE meaning of the very Multiverse.
And I long for understanding of it...

Nobody among medics can even see what I see?
Nobody among health directives remember the tears they shed when they were children?
Nobody wishes to understand, to love Life?

Or is it that nobody cares, even when Life is dancing before them...

My work, my yearning, my quest for understanding, the holy oath I gave, have a significance?
