As far as Im aware from the beginning of time.

Right. - Also my favourite direction.

Male. - I practice them more. Female faces are hard.

Short. - I have little patience for fancy long hair.

âIs it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
Neither. - I've tried to practice both evenly, but generally I prefere to the left.

âIs it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front view. - Most practice.

âWhat do you have problems in drawing?
Hands (but people say I'm good at them)
Faces are hard but no real problems.
Not sure...

âWhat do you like to draw?
Characters. - Scenes are hard. But mostly fantasy characters from other worlds.

âAre you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Tradigital.

âWhere do you start drawing from?
I make a frame that starts where most appropriate.

âWhat is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
Over sizing feet and hands.
Drawing to many lines.

âWhat do you keep in mind when you do lineart?
Err... Haven't thought really. I try to get a general idea for the scene or character then wing it until it looks right.

âAny tips for coloring/shading?
Try to theme. It creates continuity.

âHow long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Not very long. Hour or two.

âWhat music do you listen to while you draw?
Lots but prefere silence.

âHow long does it take you to come up with an idea?
No idea.

âYour favorite drawing utensils?
Pencil (B) - But I lost my best B! I use B for everything and now I don't have one...

âYour favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Grays (with hues). Im usually dull and subdued with my colours.

âYour favorite style(s)?
Manga. - Varies, I'm still trying to settle into my style.

âAre you satisfied with your current art?
Not really. - Hence why I'm working on new styles.

âWhat kind of artist are you aiming for?

My old best friend, Luke Woolner, died of liver cancer while I was away on 3 day hike in Dartmoor. I haven't seen him for 6 years, but I wish I could have seen him one last time before he died. I know that very few people who knew him are on here, but I still want this ,and the art work I do for him, to be a tribute to him and his family.

To those out there who have lost loved ones, I sent you my sympathy. I know it hurts very much.

Something I have a serious lack of. I don't know if it's the weather, or the fact that I have to revise but I just don't feel like doing anything, even though I'm burning to do something!! Do you know the feeling?

Unfortunatly I can't find a way of getting the animation that I did for my exam up onto DA, which is a big loss for me as its one of my best pieces so far! This combined with my extreme adversion to using blender after sitting in front of it for around 6 months has led me back to my old habits of drawing and writing. Except with a small problem:

I have no idea what to do! I want to create a world where I can seamlessly combine scifi, common fantasy and modern day life. I want this world to be one that I really like and view as ' perfect' one that all my stories and adventures can revolve around. I want to be able to use it for writing, comics, one off drawings, 3D projects, everything.

A perfect world? A world where everything can happen? Somewhere so flexible that the story can take any turn but still seem believable and above all impressive? Surely thats not possible. It's something I've been trying to think up for years. And failed.

Heres the rules:

I find I can't capture what I want in manga but I still like the more emotional style (that I can't do). I want to draw people but I not keen on the idea of full realism; I still want an element of personality, style and slight cartoonism (if that is a word!). So I'm kind stuck. I haven't put a deviation on here for aaaagggeeesssss (ages) and really should but, really, haven't had the time, and I have one kinda commision for a friend and another one would like one too... so busy is my middle name right now. As usual trying to do to much... I need ideas for the picture I need to do for my friend but right this moment, for once in my life, ideas arn't appearing from nowhere. I suppose things should get better seeing as I have finished the majority of my exams but I still have work experience and a Duke of Edingburgh expedition.

Depression:
There's this right git at school who gets on my nerves so much. Retaliation is not an option and for some reason my so called "friends" never really seem theree to back me up. I could say more, and about other people but I won't, bitching solves nothing except short term enjoyment.
Oh and I won't even mention girl problems...

Life:
So in general thats the update.
I would most appreciate abit of feed back on the style thing if anyone has any fantastic ideas, if not who cares, I'm all ears these days.

Moral:
Don't trust any one who calls them selves human, and if they call themselves anything else also don't trust them because their probably either alien or mad.

I also want to improve my computer colouring from block colour to proper shading, but it's taking time to get right. Some how I am managing to fit art in around my revision and homework but hey thats life! I need to also improve the realism of my 3d art. Nothing seems to look complex enough but I don't ahve enough time to spend on it. Oh and ineed to write up chapter III of Saveris. Damn I think I am trying to do to much; one of my major faults...

Well thats all the bad, the good takes a bit longer to emerge with me. I supposes I'm a pesamist (however you spell it and its probably the wrong word).
