Random wireless net connection failures and horrible random shutdowns and won't turn all the way back on without a lot of tinkering and coaxing make it look like I CAN get it work... but I'm still not anywhere safe. iChat seems to be the demonic application that it hates running dies on me for.

I have a big piece I was working on photoshop (which crashes frequently, including every time you first open it, it's other CS2 friends included.)

I will upload what I have left in my queue for the art I was gunna put up.

Found in my yard so far:
Araneus sp.: orb-weaver spider
Tegenaria agrestis: Hobo spider
Tegenaria duellica: Giant House Spider
Latrodectus hesperus: Western Black Widow spider (introduced; very rare in western WA)

Where the fuck did the black widows come from!!!! We've dealt with the Tegenaria species for a long time, and with a little research we found out that Giant House Spiders are hobo spider predators. Our big males run about 3" with leg span included, however they are very shy and we don't see much of them. We also have (or had) a Steatoda species that hunts hobos (I miss Obsidian, I get attached to spiders......), I haven't seen a single one, usually you find them with the last little bit of warm weather....

But Jesus Christ we have black widows?! I'm the least effected by the hobo spider venom, but latrodectism is a whole new story.

Can somebody please get me a book on arachnids for Christmas?

Ok, first of all. Yes, going to see Skinny Puppy. Turns out tickets are 21+, so, half the people in our "group" aren't going and there's probably not going to be any big party shit, but I'm content with it being me, Erin, "big" Josh, and maybe Matt. *gunna sketch out the clouds before I lay them down, figuring out how to split the plastic moon without fucking it up.

-Great white shark. Blame Shark Week. Make a good chunk of progress.



*"Beyond Fear"
-Based on horrifying experiences blending dreams and reality. That, and a God Module song. Original drawing of this concept is in my gallery called "Between Nightmares."

-transfer of the line art and canvas stretch needs to be done.

-putting off until I'm ready to take the plunge. May be more experimental than exact, like I had planned originally.

It is my intent to attempt to start adding shading to my compositions again, as well as inking and coloring some of them. I went on a year long hiatus of drawing, and am relearning a lot of the things that I used to do second nature.

And on top of all of this, I'm attending school everyday, I'm turning in all homework, I'm participating in class, and I'm passing tests. After many years of problems at school, I'm doing everything better than I was before.

Anyways, I'm hoping to get a digital cannon rebel TXi (the 10.1 megapixel one). Also, there's an awesome 35 mm underwater camera from ngm.com that I want as well. Does anyone have any suggestions on digital cameras? I like cannon and I want something... somewhat inexpensive, and the rebel seemed to be the best for it's price.
Also, what are some good 3200 films I can get? I'm thinking something from Ilford or Kodak. I hear that Kodak's going to stop making film though. I need to stock up on Tmax! Also, I'm thinking about trying these papers from Ilford: pearl, warm tone, and fiber. I am NEVER touching that Gekko or Arista shit AGAIN!
Also, feel free to critique my prints! Both on print quality and composition! All suggestions make me a better photographer / printer! (but don't say "it sucks" without telling me why!)
Ps. Does anyone know if you can process Ilford films with HC - 110 dilution B (mainly the Ilford PAN F plus 50 and Ilford Delta 100)? I read on the internet that you can, but I've never tried it... guess I'll find out soon huh? =/ lol
