Well my parents finally got a fast connection for us. Instead of connecting at half of a 56k dialup modem (around 2.6kb per second), im now connecting at broadband speeds. Thank god. This means I will have more time to do artwork.

I am in the process of finishing up my new cd (South West Quest). The cd comes out in July, so hopefully by the end of july, I will have more time. I fell like I have missed so much while I was gone. Usually at this time of the year I get very excited and antsy in my classes. This is because the weather in Chicago is getting nicer, and summer is just around the corner. Up until this year I had a 4 month break from school. I’m sure some people have the same type of break for their schools. Well, this is my first year of college, and I have no choice but to go to summer school. I have to register for my summer classes tomorrow. Everyone at my school is most likely taking summer school due to the school changing their format of classes. So that means that if you count the 8 months I will be in school for this current school year, and the 4 months of summer school, along with next year... I will be in school for about 2 years straight with no breaks. Wish me luck, and try to cheer me up. I hate school so much. So this isn't going to be easy.

Well, its Friday, and I just got home from school. I finished my final tests for my classes, and now I am finished. I have a week break (Im on spring break) . After the break I start new classes, which sucks.... but for now, I will be enjoying my 9 days off.

I have been pretty busy lately. Over the Holidays I was always running around, and didn’t get a chance to check all of my deviant messages. I am currently going through 956 Deviations. Yesterday was a fun-filled day. I took a lot of good shots, which will be loaded over the time. Last night it began to rain and there was a lightning storm. The sky was so bright. Lucy (my girlfriend) and I had this crazy Idea to go out to do some shots (around 10:00 pm) with the lightning. We drove over to the nearest forest preserve. We sat there for around an hour with our finger ready to take the shot once the sky lit up. Well, it didn’t lightning at all when we were out there. It was crazy right before we got there. We decided to call it quits, and go back to the car. To our surprise my car was surrounded by Police cars. They started questioning us and everything. They were going to give me a 75 dollar fine for being on the forest preserve after dark (I guess it closes after dark). The forest preserve that we went to is right next to a very important research building. The police informed us that there were sharp shooters in the forest. Well I found that very comforting. Lucy and I are out trying to do some photography and there are sharp shooters probably watching us on their gun scopes. The cops let us go with a warning. I took Lucy home, and that was the end of our night.

I bought some new camera equipment (filters, and other accessories. I’m very excited to use everything. I got most of the stuff in Thursday night. It sucks because the days have been very crappy since I got the stuff, so there hasn't been much to shoot. Oh well, look for more photography pieces soon. Don't worry; I’m not devoting myself 100 percent to photography, just 99.9%.

Well, if you haven't already noticed, I am starting to get involved in some photography. I really enjoy this type of art. There are so many things you see in a photo that you never realized existed. I have been going on long hikes after school, trying to see what I can find. I am just experimenting now.

System Overload has been up for a while now; however we are lacking the art talent that I had hoped for. On the site forum there are Image Battles. However, they aren’t what they used to be, whether people forgot about them, or they are too busy, there isn’t much action. If you are an artist that likes to design for fun and would like to battle back and forth, check them out.

[ A B S T R A C T ]
So you may be wondering were my abstract work will go. Well, to answer your thoughts, I still will be doing abstract work along with my other styles that I have done; however at the moment I am trying to expand my art style. I am working on a wallpaper as we speak and it should be done sometime soon.
