Hi mates,
Sorry for being away for so long. As I wrote it was a difficoult period, first of all I can't have my university degree untill November and it was planed in September.
Then my dear Grandfather had to be cured in the hospital, he is fine now, but it was a bad experience.
Add that my mother's best friend was in the hospital too, and that yesterday a young woman we knew died. I guess this period will end soon...
Anyway I am not lefting of course, the matter is that I plant to send a present to the honorable winner but I can't now because of all these troubles and I had to spend my money.

Hi!

Here I am, one week passed since the end of my first stage. Great period, ok just a couple of months but I am changes, I am more self confident and preparing covers for the book... ( not drawing by mine, what a pity ) was interesting.
A couple of authors called the publisher to say that they enjoied my work so I am sutisfied.
Now I wait for a call... ehehe they promised to call me to offer me a job, since the chief was very honest I guess he was not a liar, but I am still quite nervous.
My mother was so proud of me lately.... eh...
Uhm I guess that the last few periods were quite good for a not native English speaker.

On sunday my mother turns... uhm, let's say 28
Gandalf was meant to be a present for her... but now I am drawing a "ramingo" for her... uhm the ranger of Faramir you know, now I don't remember the English name.

As I said.... happy... or at least close to be happy, anyway not sad.

Eventualy I found the stage!

A publisher offered me a stage and I will begin next February. I am happy.... the publisher is not a big company, but it is good. That will be interesting because I will have to read the books about to be published and work on them ( oh poooooor writers!!!! ) and in the office there are 2 cats, that is nice because I love them... then... well I will still have some free time expecially on the weekend.

Then today was a busy day, I had to go to siena to speak with one of my teachers, he could fix a program for me to have my last exam.... Thank God! This exam gave me so many problems! Now I know that I have to study some programs and I will realize a simple webpage, that's good because I already know the basis so it won't be a pain... I hope

Good Morning...

Well... here it's morning now. I am quite relaxed, on my bed, I look outside of my window.

Outside it's white, not because of the snow, it's freezed... I fell in the same way now. I am not sad or depressed I feel cold I guess.
Yesterday I went to a pub and I spent some time with my friends. They are honest and funny but we don't share the same interest, they love metal, I just hear what they say because I am not found of this music genre. They speak of moto and I still listen because I never had a ducati and I will never have ( actualy they haven't got any ducati... they are not so rich ) They have a boy/girl friend I have any
I am a bit tired to be the one who comes alone ... :lonley:
I had a boyfriend... he lived in Florence and I live in Arezzo so even whe I was part of a couple the most of the time I was alone. I am pissed off if this is the right sentence.
About 3 year passed, I had a boy I liked but nothing happend because he desapeard and perhaps I was not in love with him I was just interested. This is for the Italians that don't live in Italy and remember Panettone and Torrone and for all ppl how love sweets

The brown bread is called panettone and was cooked in Milan about 200 years ago. You have grapes eggs, sugar... it's delicious. Torrone is the white one and it is very hard, if you don't have good theet don't try
It was made to celebrate the marriage between two noble families in Cremona in 1500 or so.

Scrivo in italiano visto che sono un po' agitata...
Mai successo a nessuno di avere una lettera o un'email nel mio caso da leggere, li... fermo ... che brilla... e che non vuoi aprire? Nel mio piccolo so che se l'aprissi cambierei un po' della mia vita... quindi ok dovrebbe essere una buona cosa, il cambiamento nella vita non è da rifiutare.
Ma sono terribilmente nervosa... ho proprio paura! Cinque anni fa ho fatto la stessa cosa: mi sono iscritta all'esame di ammissione per scienze della comunicazione, convintissima di non passare, al contrario avevo quasi deciso ormai per lingue. E invece? Su 1200 e rotti disgraziatti hanno preso me nei 200 no? E' accaduto il 3 ottobre giorno del mio compleanno. Io mi son messa a piangere e mia mamma credeva che fosse per la felicità. Ehm.. ero terrorizzata!!!! completamente. Ora è la stessa musica. Come minimo mi hanno preso ad uno stage che mi hanno proposto tre o quattro giorni fa, farei da referente in un ufficio stampa, dovrei andare di tanto in tanto a Roma o Milano.
Ho tanta paura però
Di cosa? bah facciamo del mondo? anche un po' di non riuscirci. La cosa andrà avanti tre mesi...
Cielo... spero di riuscire ad aprirla, altrimenti lo farò domani, ma in ogni caso ve lo farò sapere...

I am eating a slice of panettone, a tipycal Italian dish... during this season.

Ora sono abbastanza stanca ma devo tenere duro ancora per un po', spero di fare il colpaccio e di passare Statistica giovedi prossimo, cmq mi sono guadagnata la settimana
Torneranno naturalmente i miei disegni, sto già preparando qualcosa

Meno una settimana al mio esame di informatica, gente speriamo di ricordare qualcosa! Mi mancano solo tre esami e spero di liquidarli alla svelta. Tra l'altro sempre la prossima settimana ho un secondo esame, questa volta di statistica sociale, quella quasi non l'ho toccata :cryes:
Dimentichiamoci degli esami e torniamo a noi... spero che gli ultimi due o tre lavori vi siano piaciuti, questa volta ho sfornato un po' di disegni a lapis, ho tratto ispirazione dalle pubblicità, è un ottimo metodo se non hai insegnanti, non è vero?

Nel giro di qualche giorno vorrei aprire anche qualche trade.. vi ispira?

I am so happy .... that's my first contest and I won so.... but there were wonderful works too and you can see them here... Please check their gallery

Yesterday I wento to Lucca comics and Games and I want to share with you this experience... Lucca comics is a wonderful fair devoted to RPG Manga anime and so on. There I met Mrs Margaret Weis... yes... Raistlin's mother we could say. That was so nice because she is.. well... so .. normal : lol: no no don't get me wrong a writer is never normal, I mean to say that she is a white haired woman, she wears glasses and she is so " small ". She smiled at me and I thought she was a sort of fairy. She signed a book for me and I could say in English " pleased to meet you"
Dragonlance is not exactly my favorite series but Mrs Weis is a sort of soul of fantasy literature, don't you think so?
Then... speaking of writer... George Martin was there I could not meet him, but my friends did and they bought a signed book for me
What else? wonderful art... I bought an artbook of Ciruelo and some prints of his wonderful dragons. Actually the art book was a scketch book and the saint man wrote how he realizes his dragons and figures so I am going to learn

Manga, action figures, posters artbook were awsome, I fell in love, but I had not enough money

I had my perfect day yesterday... what missed was a nice boyfried but I had my friends so that's ok

p.s. I see that 500 hits is coming, I will draw something to celebrate

Have you more than one style? Of course this is a question perfect for ppl who draws, but still is ment to photographers too.
I am so into deviantart lately, I see anime artist, ppl who draw with open canvas, watercolor, pencils... all of them have so wonderful art! I am jumping from one to an other

I started my career ( career... yes... ) drawing manga, I am in love with Ranma 1/2, Drangonball... then came more mature mangaka like Ai Yazawa ( wonderfull style), Yuu Watase, Anatolia story's sensei ( damn I am not good with name sorry for the sensei's fans).. I had fun, but what I wanted was more detailed art.. :read: so years passed and I discoverd the wonderfull art of Alan Lee, Agnus McBride and Howe ( oh ... they all are Tolkien's artists ohh how funny ) . They represent a mature way to draw linked to the past, anathomy, colors and so on....
At last the digital artist, sorry no name I remember, but they ar gorgerous...

Well the point is, are you attracted to this different styles? ( I guess it's easy.... ) and more important, are you able to produce your art in a manga way AND in a classical one? Because I would be able to have at least two styles: one for manga and one for the classical one, do you think it's possible?
Did you understand my strange English? Will I ever be taken by aliens?

In settimana ci sarà una bella fiera di fumetti e giochi di ruolo a Lucca, se tutto va bene andrò, sono anni che non manco è un modo carino per salutare gli amici che mi sono fatta in giro per l'italia. Tra le altre cose ci sarà anche Martin! Purtroppo non potrò andare il giorno in cui lui sarà presente ma un mio amico che fa parte del fan club ha promesso di prendere un autografo per me. Spero che lo faccia o diventerò violenta

Foooorse sono riuscita anche a far apparire le icone sul footer, se non funzionasse chiedo venia, appena scrivo qualcosa farò sparire gli errori con un altro journal che sarà fatto presto...

Salve a tutti affezionati alla mia paginetta! Come va questo sabato? Qui ha smesso di piovere e io mi preparo ad uscire nel pomeriggio e farmi un giretto in centro.
Negli ultimi giorni ho scoperto tante gallery bellissime e mi sono buttata nell'arena dei contest
Ho scoperto anche il mio particolare talento nel far apparire diabolici i coniglietti bianchi, non è una cosa da sottovalutare.
Penso di comnciare a raccapezzarmi finalmente anche tra i vari tipi di arte: acquarelli, colori digitali, pennarelli, matite, lapis
Decisamente mi trovo bene con i pennarellini e con i lapis, le matite mi rendono poco quando le scansiono, un nuovo mondo è rappresentato dall'acquarello che ho cominciato a usare di recente.

Bene, ora vado a prepararmi, che mi metto?

Hojojojooooooo! Pulizia dal dentista oggi, nn lo auguro al mio peggior nemico, ora mi sento molto vicina ai vampiri che masterizzo. E' un venerdi sonnacchioso questo, ho disegnato solo qualche faccia sul blocco perchè ero davvero troppo stanca e dolorante. La prossima settimana, venerdi, siamo da capo... bah bah, passerà.
Per parlare di cose belle, oggi mi sono trovata a sopresa in una bellissima fiera culinara... l'ironia della sorte eh? C'erano nella mia città un sacco di stands gastronomica: biscotti dalla bretagna, pane siciliano, bottarga sarda, tutta l'italia era la' oltre all'europa... ora mi sto mangiado ( beh.... sono morbide...) delle crepes minuscole di origine olandese, si è capito che adoro la cucina?

In realtà mi sento così ...
Devo dire che impegnarmi nel disegnare mi aiuta molto, sono ottimista in questo, mi pare di fare progressi per quanto piccoli. Il mio piano è questo... prima imparare con il tratto pen a disegnare decentemente, sia senza ombre che con, poi tentare con i colori. Per il mio compleanno mi sono stati regalati degli acrilici e mi hanno consigliato di prendere la manualità disegnando moduli in cui viro i colori dal chiaro allo scuro o cose del genere e mi sto impegnando a farlo, chissà se viene qualche modulo carino lo metto nelle scraps per mostrare i miei progressi

Per le cose serie, adesso sto preparandomi per la tesi, so che la farò in tradizioni popolari e sul territorio aretino, ma non so ancora esattamente dove andrò a parare, per questo oggi pomeriggio vado dal mio amato parroco, noto studioso ( davvero! ) di arte e storia locale e mi farò dare qualche dritta per impressionare il professore. :haww:
Amo davvero l'arte e la storia del territorio in cui vivo, mi piace specialmente cercare di immaginare la vita delle persone che hanno avuto il destino di vivere dove vivo io oggi...

Uhm vado a buttare giù due appunti sull'avventura di vampiri che sto masterizzando ai miei amichetti!

La cosa che mi innervosisce di più è che mi sembra sempre di disegnare storto o di perdere in linearità di tratto quando vedo le scan, per adesso ho messo qualche prova anche negli scraps, il disegno con la tartaruga è da migliorare, ma volevo cmq metterlo in gallery

well... i am working on the photos I took in Siena, but I have to develope some of them so you will have to wait for a while. I could finish one, black panter, you can see that one in my gallery. The quality is poor because I used my handy.

The other work I uploded is not more than a scrap, actually you can see a copy in that section. I like the way I realized the sketch ( oh sorry I wonder if the spelling is wrong but I have not my dictionary ) . I would like to draw and upload the results, but I have still some problems in working with coulors. Soon I will upload something interesting I hope, but tell me if you like the style plz
