Anyways, there's snow outside. Lots. It always amuses me to see people run around like headless chickens as if it were the coming of the apocalypse. People never cease to amuse me.

The mall closed down, which means I don't have to work today, so I certainly can't complain about that. I felt like a kid in school all over again, wishing for it to be enough to cancel school...well, work in this case. ^^

Regarding cosplay, I still plan on attending Katsucon if all goes well. I have no idea what costumes I'll bring, so stay tuned and I'll let everyone know as soon as I know.

As for the future, I will once again TRY to be more active on here. My full-time job + full-time college classes are starting to wear me out, and it almost takes a miracle for me to get a weekend off for a con anymore

He sounds absolutely flamboyant and gay compared to the Japanese voice. XD I miss the deeper, brooding sound, but I'm biased. XD

He just sounds too young...I dunno, we'll see.

I'm a few weeks late, but I finally saw the new Bleach opening. The video goes well with the song, but the opening seems out of place...the whole thing is fan service, showing a majority of the characters in sexy snapshots..which is awesome, but it doesn't seem to fit with the story. XD

Also, Rukia, Orihime and Matsumoto remind me of Bond girls or something in the video. XD XD The opening reminds me of the recent Naruto Shippuuden ending in a way, but maybe that's just me.

Katsucon is quickly approaching...it is held in Crystal City, Washington D.C. on February 13th - 15th, and I'm really excited to be going. ^^

I'll be debuting my Vampire Knight cosplay. I'm cosplaying Zero on Saturday with a group of friends, so that should be fun There's also a concert for Aural Vampire and a dance Saturday night, but I dont know what the plans are just yet.

I took my car in this morning to have it looked at so I could get an estimate on the repair costs. The repairs will cost about $4,000...and my car was estimated to be worth about $3,100 >< So it doesn't make sense to spend more money than the car is worth.

So basically, I'm waiting on some paperwork that gives the official exact amount that my car is worth. The insurance rep said it would be at least $3,100, but that amount should go up once I submit receipts for work that I had done on the car, so the value should go up.

Once they tell me the value of the car, I'll give them my car and they'll give me a check for that amount of money. Then I'll go and buy another car using that check as a down payment.

All in all everything will be in order eventually...I just need to get the check and go buy the other car, and hopefully that won't take too long, but here's hoping.

I had a bad car accident while driving home Sunday night. I would've ran right into a car but I managed to turn the car at the last second so that the cars clipped each other at the corner. Its nothing short of a miracle because there was no way I should have been able to move out of the way in time...it should've been head-on which would have 99.9% killed me.

My car is pretty messed up....missing a headlight and I have no power-steering fluid at all...the car rattles a lot too. I had to wait on the side of the interstate for the cops to show up, and they took mine and the other drivers' info. His car wasn't beat up nearly as bad, and he said he was fine physically. As for me, I got beat up pretty good with some scrapes and bruises, and my lower back is killing me, but nothing is broken.

I had my car towed and checked by a mechanic, who said I could drive it but I wouldn't have any power-steering.

The only thing that made me calm down a bit was talking to the other driver...he was a really polite guy...late 20's or early 30's. We apologized to each other, and he goes, "oh so you like Naruto?" pointing to my T'shirt which had Sasuke on it. I smiled a bit despite almost being killed 5 minutes prior.

Overall its been one heck of a day. I can't wait to get all of this sorted out and behind me.

I will be attending Nekocon this weekend ^^ I'm really excited and can't wait to have fun...I love cons soooo much!

This won't be a cosplay-heavy con for me. The decision to go came up recently, and I'm going with a friend of mine. I don't really know what I'm wearing aside from both Naruto cosplays (Timeump and suit). Its hard for me to fully enjoy the con as Ulquiorra since I'm a statue that can't smile, eat or drink, so this is more of a breather for me to relax

UPDATE

My compy is gone, but I unhooked the desktop and set my latop up at my workstation....it took a bit of time to find the right tablet drivers (I use a different OS on my laptop) but I finally got it up and running. Yay!

I'm too busy to do much in terms of art this week since AUSA is coming up. However, I'll be getting back to work ASAP when I return. I'll also submit commission info. for the 2-3 people who actually read this. I kid, I kid...XD

My computer is dead. Really dead.

I went to turn on my desktop, and I get a cute flashing cursor in the corner of the screen. Nothing loads, and it just sits there. I tried repairing the OS, and I tried reinstalling it, rebuilding it, everything I could think of. Basically, my hard drive crashed and it can't be recovered ><

The computer will start up and show the initial BIOS screen, then freezes. It won't even allow me to access setup, safe mode, or any other boot info. Nothing XD I saved my data on an external drive, with the exception of Photoshop and my latest project, which would have been finished today...I'm especially upset over that since it looked to be one of my best works so far, and I loved working on it.

I also lost my schoolwork for my graphic design and animation projects for school this semester. ><

I will be unable to upload artwork until I am able to purchase another desktop. I'm dirt poor so that may take awhile XD

My only other option is to try and install tablet drivers and use my Wacom on my laptop in the meantime...we'll see how that goes.

If I can get my tablet working on my laptop, I may start taking commissions to help with the costs of a new desktop. I'll provide more information on that soon.

I will still be active on dA, and I will get to everyone's messages shortly ^^ Feel free to message or chat and I will get back to you...it'll just be awhile before I get back to art again.

That's about it. I'll post cosplay pics from AUSA when I return after next weekend.

I always get excited right before a con rolls around...luckily, I don't have to do too much in terms of preparation, so that'll make things easier ^^

My cosplay schedule is up in the air at the moment. The Espada costumes will still be used for Saturday (my gf will switch to the tattered "rags" version of Nel...thankfully Ulqui doesn't have that option XD). I'll post a finalized costume schedule for those who are planning to attend

I had a great time seeing everyone! I went to a couple panels and shopped around at the dealer's room and artist alley, and took pics of lots of cosplayers

I bought the cutest little Ulquiorra from in the Dealer's Room. They're always so nice and its always good to see them

I also saw and had some pics taken, although I was still waking up and was a total zombie

All in all it was tons of fun! I'll be posting my cosplay pics by the end of the week ^^

Well, for anyone who cares, I've been a bit more active lately and will hopefully be adding more pictures ^^

Let's see....its been about a year but I'll try to condense what's been going on in my good ol' life...hmm...

Well, I'm currently in my 2nd semester in the Visual Arts program at my univeristy. I'm studying under the animation / interactive media (read: video games XD) discipline, and I love it! I'm still getting my feet wet but I enjoy it

I currently hold a job at Barnes and Noble which I work on weekends. I've been there for about 3 1/2 months now and its a great job ^_^

I also did some cosplaying throughout the year In November I went to AUSA (will be attending again this year). In addition, I went to Ohayocon in January, Katsucon in February, Anime Boston in April, and OTAKON (my home con <3) in July. My next cons are Tendokucon (sp) in Philly, taking place in early November, and AUSA again a couple weeks later (held in Crystal City, D.C.). I'll be cosplaying Naruto, Kuchiki Byakuya (Bleach) and Tamaki (Ouran Host Club). If you have plans to go, I hope to see you there!

I've been spending my small amounts of spare time playing Tales of the Abyss for the PS2. I absolutely love this game! I just finished it yesterday, and I wanted to cry when it was over.
