In any case, the news is good and I had a good reception for Fallen. In other words, I'm insanely happy right now because it's been a hell of a quarter at college and now I'm on break which means, you guessed it, I'm gone for a week. I know.. how tragic.. however will you live without me? (for those who don't actually "know" me, as in, actually talked to me, yes that was heavy sarcasm)

Despite the massive amount of setbacks and hurdles, at least I managed to get a concept book made and now Fallen is "official" in my mind for working with.

heres hope to it being a hell of a fun run whenever I get the time and willpower to work with it.

Sega is working a new game right? (and evidently headed by the creator of Devil May Cry (he worked on the first one)) Aptly titled... *sigh* Bayonetta. Now, ignoring the horrible name (cause I'll admit I've made up some real winners in my time...)

Naturally I find this interesting. A DMC like game (thats supposedly going to push the standards of the action genre) featuring a female lead. I'm excited. Finally, a cool female lead (there's been a few, don't get me wrong, but you know they're sorely outnumbered.)

However...

I have no problem with a sexy female lead, but I really wish they'd stop playing it up THIS much. What the hell is this? A middle schoolers pantyshot anime? You want to progress the action genre with THIS?

Why is it that anytime you get a strong female lead in an action genre they're almost always dressed as tramps? seriously... no offense, but if I'm off to battle I think I'd wear a little bit more armor or... something... (not my own hair... or at least if I did, it better not leave me without damn just cause)

*grumble grumble* anyways, all personal annoyances aside, I just wanted to point out how sad it is to lack a respectable female lead in this genre. Sexiness, thats alright. but lets try to be reasonable about it okay? (Lara Croft wearing tight shorts in the freezing arctic ring a bell?)

Appearance: Dresses in blacks or anything else flattering. Likes open shirts or no shirt, baggy tattered jeans and chains.

Bio:

Xell is the resident player of the group, he'll flirt with anyone, anytime, anywhere. He has a very... DEEP appreciation of the ladies, and is particularly considerate of their well being.
He's an oddball, and can easily make a serious situation into a laughing stock in seconds, and likes to do so at every opportunity even at great physical risk to himself. But despite his usual happy go lucky nature, he should never be underestimated.

For being an idiot, he also shows outstanding memory in his strange ability to distinctly remember any women he's spent time with, from name to birthday to favorite past-time. It's a trait that still boggles Naoruken's mind to this very day.

Xell is a powerful shadowwalker, and can slip in and out of shadows at will, making him deadly and virtually uncatchable at night. He has also proven on several occasions to be very adept at debilitating curses. Undoubtedly, for all of his unassuming looks, he has a surprisingly devious mind, and is a true testament to "can't judge a book by it's cover."

He's very crafty when he picks his allies, and often puts more thought into it then he lets on. In general, he goes on the motto of "A friend to everyone is an enemy of no one," and prefers to keep people, in the very least, on the side of uncaring about the fate of his existence.

He's a close friend of Naoruken, which may or may not be a bad thing considering the blatant un-returned affection he has for the Dragon God. It is because of this that he is the enemy of Talamaru for a good portion of the story, feeling that she's undeserving of Nao's devotion and concerned of what the terrible Goddess might do to him. This is how we discover that once he's chosen an enemy it becomes no holds barred. He's not above using curses and dirty-tricks to take down opponents, a testament to his realistic nature.

He originally attempted to stop Talamaru's revival altogether by first befriending her mortal incarnation, and then turning on her at the last minute, matching swords with Naoruken when he came to her defense. He's since been openly bitter and rude to the Goddess, but not foolish enough to combat her on even terms knowing quite well that she could annihilate him with little effort. He has, overtime, at least come to tolerate her existence.

He currently harbors a strange interest in one of Naoruken's servants, Reirri, and spends a lot of time these days getting the crap beat out of him by the fierce fighter for intruding on Nao's realm. It sometimes appears that such intrusions are not for the sake of seeing Naoruken, but more for getting the attention of the nekomata herself. He's also portrayed an uncanny sense of timing in this, showing up just before Reirri can become depressed so she can unleash her fury on him.

It's uncertain whither or not it's coincidental or on purpose...

howdy people. I realize, that many a person doesn't actually read these things, but on the off chance someone who watches me is bored, then this will be... .... something to kill time with, yea.

my first rant of the evening!

Yaoi! Not in the mood to hear a straight girl's word on it? GET OUT!

For anyone NOT in the know, Yaoi is guy x guy love, with explicit content, (Like, XELL explicit content)

I won't lie, my roommate has a couple of these manga and I AM bored and open minded enough to read them.

but I get perplexed.

perplexed over the oft times lack of coherent plot and/or character development, the dominating feel of the characters, (reminds me of brokeback mountain damnit...) and what seems to me to be the offhandedness of the writer to the characters.

In other words, a lot of times with Yaoi, the author doesn't give a damn about anything short short of hooking guys up as quick as possible.

This just ticks me off.

Where, in our society, did all sentiments of love go and why the hell should a same sex couple lack this as well?

Now don't get me wrong, I know there are some well written Yaoi fics and manga out there, there has to be. but I'm writing this because of the sheer amount of MxM fics smeared all over my fanfiction sites. Do you know how hard it is to find a decent Vincent fic without him getting banged by Cloud or Cid or Sephiroth or all three at the same time!? WTH!?

But, being the weird and open-minded person I am, I browse anyways. and I know I shouldn't, because finding a good fanfic for ANYTHING can be a task of itself.

but the lack of coherent plot, character development, and sticking to character (unless AU, I will accept breaking it if it's an alternate universe) is annoying as all of hades.

Don't think I don't see this is straight pairings, lord knows it's there in full force, but I'm getting really frikkin sick of crazy Yaoi fangirls slapping up their most recent Cloud/Sephiroth dom fic where Cloud's all over the fact his most hated enemy in the world is screwing him.

It makes no sense to me. and I know, with very GOOD writing, it CAN make sense. but this is just ticking me off.

Like I said before, WHERE THE HELL HAS ALL THE LOVE GONE!? IS TENDER ROMANTIC LOVE NOT INTERESTING ENOUGH FOR YOU YA FRIKKIN PERVERTS!?

and if anyone, somehow, someway, is all like, where's all this Yaoi yer talking bout? two words. Sora, Riku.

what the hell is up with that pairing? I won't lie, I didn't even beat the first Kingdom Hearts... but I coulda swore they were BOTH interested in Kairi... (but I don't know much about the game so I won't argue in an area I know nothin about)

In anycase, I'm still alive. My physics class is going to be.... interesting... (about five hours long and yes, he DOES have us there the whole time cept for small breaks)

More then likely you might see more literature from me with my writing for game design class this quarter. I have to take an old legend/myth/fairytale/folktale and put a new character/s into it but still keep the same plot. if anyone has any ideas, let me know. cause right now, I'm tempted to do the Thor's Stolen Hammer "legend" (It's a classic...)

but any literature updates probably won't involve Slave Labor (Though I doubt anyone cares at this point...) but more about other things for this class.

Happy New Years everybody (doing this now so it's out in advance...) Hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday.

K, that's the important part, the rest of this is some big information and likely a horrible rant about me.

First off, I'm leaving on the third. What's that mean to you? Well, as much as my updates are random anyways, they're bout to get a whole lot more random as I leave the state and head off to college. Don't wanna say there'll be no updates, or a lot of updates cause I simply don't know.

So I leave in under a week, I got lots of packing and work I'm putting off cause I'm a procrastinator who's scared to death of leaving home, and on top of that I got into a horrible spat with my mom yesterday over my college fund being transfered into my name so I can use it in another state, which resulted in her refusing to co-sign with me on a student loan and according to the divorce papers she no longer has to pay into said fund so I'm not getting anything else put into it at all from either parent. I'm pretty much on my own as far as it goes on covering my expenses (which, tuition alone, will be $54,000 to go where I want to go, and I don't even have half of that in my college fund)

Suffice it to say, it sucked pretty frikkin hardcore cause this is the last time I'll see her for a likely very long time and I would have liked it to end on a good note rather then a bad one.

But, such is life, time heals all wounds, so on so forth. I just hope she leads a happy life cause I never really thought my parents owed me anything anyways.

I'm not so much depressed at my financial situation as I am that my mom is now really pissed off and will likely hold onto this as a grudge for a very long time. and it'll make it very difficult for me to get the courage to go see her or call her because of yesterdays events. not exactly what I'd call a good send off, but I'm sure she has her reasons, no matter what I or anyone else thinks of them.

I genuinely wish for her happiness, regardless of what's been done or said in the past, or in the future, I'd just like to have that written down somewhere.

Here on the third of the new year I'm moving away to college, so updates will be sporadic or nonexistent until I figure out how to do them.

My priorities have, and will remain to be, life first, DevART second. obviously, but I've been prone to organizing my life in all the wrong ways...

yea so... Slave Labor. .... I'll be honest, it's not coming well at this moment in time. I've plenty of ideas but where I have the story it's moving so... slow. lulls in plot are NOT my expertise. I'm all action, all plot points, but thats not how you make an engaging story. or at least, not understandable characters.

I'm not about to give up on it, but time is going to become a commodity here as I move away and start to establish myself as an independent individual. Truly, I'm a bit scared, but nothing worth doing is easy. And if it is, it's usually not very satisfying.

I ended up getting pretty sick at work yesterday, had to drive myself home in a horrible possibly crash inducing daze during hunting season, and then I crashed out on the couch for a few hours when I really wanted to be picking up a good friend of mine cause she's back home from college.

Yea... yesterday sucked pretty hardcore.

So it was pretty awesome to get online today and read all the comments on that piece, really, it's quite a boost.

So, here's the thing. I have another set of word lists to go with, but I'm just not sure who to write it about.

Thus, I figured I'd ask you guys.

It can be anybody, any pairing, so long as it's my chars (I'm not doing fan fiction....)

This is so I can broaden my horizons and the scope of my characters, so do feel free to challenge me. .... and so help me Autumn if you say Nao & Xell.... ... I know where you live....

Just a quick question for anyone following my story cause someone told me they read these things (and I thank you for it , and anyone else who reads these consistently... really, means a lot)

how do you think it's going and what would you like to see? I have several things I'd like to do with it but I need some more filler time before pulling them out so if anyone has any ideas, feel free to bring em up and maybe it might be put into my story!

This story isn't intended to make me any sort of money and I'm using it merely as a means of having fun and being productive and bettering my writing skills. As such, I'm free to tailor it to the fans who read it because it's an AU and therefore flexible.

What's it about? Well, first off, DBZ fanatics only. Second off, you better like Juuhachigou (18) Third, if the idea of Mirai (future) Trunks hooking up with 18 disgusts you... don't waste your time.

If none of that really matters to you, then by all means read it! it's only about a 2 hour read and it's some of the best editing I've ever seen on a fic! seriously! it beats the hell out of mine!

I just wish she hadn't stopped updating... =_= but don't let that discourage you! each fic is it's own complete story! so NO CLIFFHANGERS! YAY!!!!!!

But this is the deal. I have a lot of things on my plate right now that I'm really not used to. Fall courses are kicking my ass with equal parts excruciating boredom and work I don't want to do. I have an art portfolio that needs to be done ASAP if I've any hope of going to AI.... and I have absolutely no will whatsoever to accomplish anything.

NONE.

AT ALL.

I'm in a rut the size of Manhattan and I can't seem to get out of it. But first things first, I have to finish up this portfolio before the end of this week. (it's only two pieces, but I have a craptacular will to do them at best)

I'm getting pulled in several directions by what I have to do and what I want to do, and I just ain't got enough hours in my night to do em all.

What's this mean? well, not like I was ever regular on updating, but the likelihood anything will be posted soon is low. minimal at best... unless it's a random doodle.

Primarily this is just gonna effect the friends I have over DevArt cause I won't get back to you as quickly as I normally do. I'll get to it when I get to it. and yes, I know, no one ever said I had to reply ASAP to anything. But I always just sort of felt I should and I'd hate for people to be like, wth? why ain't she replied yet?

So that's the deal. I'm having some major doubts about my life, a lot of work, and too little time to do/ponder it all.

I'm being told I don't take my future seriously (I've never been serious on ANYTHING) and that if I keep it up I'll get nowhere at all. and that's true. I dont doubt it.

I'm just having problems with the fact that I just RECENTLY got thrown out into the world and I have no frikkin clue wth I'm doing! NONE! AT ALL!

DO I really want to spend 3-4 years learning Game Art and Design if I'm just going to go.. huh.. I hate this job. Is it really what I want to do? Why do I have no drive whatsoever!?

All I know.. is that I love character design and I love story telling. I hate customer service.. and I don't want to be anyone's labor bitch (I work at a dry cleaners so I know this.) hat about the only certainties I have. This roughly points towards a job in game design... but I'd hate to get there and learn to hate what I love now because then it's work.

if that makes any sense at all then yay. go me. if it doesn't who gives a crap I'm just ranting to get it out SOMEWHERE.

I'll stop boring you all now. cause everyone's got their own problems and mine certainly don't deserve to take precedence.

1. I'm an avid fantasy nut, but I could never make it through the Lord of the Rings. yes... not even the first chapter. how sad.

Ryudo politely declines or doesn't fight back altogether. Genesis then gets really ticked off, accuses him of being a sexist, and leaves in a huff.

Tal stole Ruin's most precious thing....

I don't think he'd get it back. Ruin knows better then to fight with Tal, much less, if he somehow DID manage to steal it... he'd have to deal with Nao. and Nao can teleport....

Who leaped off a temple and probably did the most damage (by a mortal...) to Mehrunes Dagon by stabbing him in the eye.

There IS another 2 emotions on Tal. that's Love (duh) and Void.

I'm just curious about what YOU guys think they look like.

So I'm posting an offer to do any fanart for any of Tal's emotions posted, or to come up with a design for Love and Void.

here's some stats to give you an idea.

Love - Emotion dealing with (duh) love. she is a passionate soul and surprisingly has a flair of Joan of Arc in her. (it's speculated she might BE Joan of Arc (I don't know how to work it in yet...)) She's a happy and kind soul, but just as love is, she can turn hostile in the blink of an eye. (we speculate that her color is pink, but if you can make it another color and get it to work, go nuts!)

Void - not an emotion per-sey, but the fragment of Tal's personality that was formed in the Void Realm where Tal was imprisoned for roughly 3000 years. that long of having your memories ripped apart and your mind chewed at by the cold terror of the void realm warped her to a level of pure instability. In fact, besides Red she's the only emotion who will go to sudden unprovoked violence and will even attack Naoruken. Insane is the name with Void, and nothing about her is ever predictable. not even in predicting she'll be UN-predictable. this actually throws people off because she can be quiet and naive like a child one moment and strangling a person in complete calm the next. Always speaks in monotone. (no speculating here. her hair is a pure white, but eye color is open. you can also make her any colors you want, so long as it works. I'm not restraining)

so there you go. anyone hungry for art ideas... there you go.

by the way.... anyone got a good name for a Tal and Nao ship yet?

alright. I've been tossing this one around for a bit, and I have decided. it is time....

that Talamaru here does some service.

AKA (dirty minded people you...) I'm going to post a kiriban on the Big Milestone that is 1k. cause I know I couldn't do what does and do a BIG commemoration (cause she has the time and focus to do several art pieces for people cause she is awesome...) I'm going to do just one.

when a person meanders in and notices the big 1000 hit... take a screenshot and send me a note saying you reached the kiriban. from their, we'll figure out what I'll do for you (yes, there WILL be negotiations) I'm willing to do any of my characters requests (obviously) and I may even go so far as to accept original character requests with links to references. we'll see how it goes.

Talamaru (yes, she doesn't have a last name.)

Hair Color: Very Long Blood Red (On Occasion Medium Length as well)
Age: Unknown (Estimated to have been around since the beginning of time) Appears 22
Height: 5' 8" (but she IS a shapeshifter so it changes)
Weight: 139 Lbs
Skin Tone: Faint Tan
Race: Unknown
Class: Weapon’s Master
Title: Goddess Of Misery (Currently a Fallen and calls herself Goddess of Destruction)
Weapons: All Weapons, Prefers the Cross Sword, Redemption, or her Crystal Blood Sword, recently taken to the DS (Dragon Slayer) sword

Appearance: Lithe of form with a long bloody red mane that spikes around her face, often her “bangs” are cut to a little past shoulder length while the rest is varying length depending on time, anywhere from knee to shoulder length. Dresses in blacks, golds and greens, but not particular in her colors. Often loose clothes (for mobility) and long trench coats (to look badass) with black sturdy boots.
Quote: “So then... we’ll burn. It’s all we have left.”

Bio: Infernomancer and Geomancer both, Talamaru is by far the most devastating creature in existence. Known as a Fallen, the former Goddess of Misery, her history is long and expansive, as she’s supposedly lived since the beginning of time. To place it short, she led a rebellion against the Gods, intent upon taking over the God realm under her rule. She was eventually captured after the “3 Day Blood Rain” during which she slaughtered 16 Gods single handedly, crippling the ranks considerably.
Upon her capture, they beheaded her and trapped a shard of her power and half of her soul, placing it into a reviving body vessel, and sealing away her body and memories with the other half of her soul in the God Realm. She has since lived 55 mortal lives over the course of roughly 3000 years, each dying a violent and painful death until her last incarnation as Dinashi-den. This form lived around 300 years and finally completed the task of collecting all of Talamaru’s memories and finding the Goddess’ body with the aide of Naoruken.

While many things have happened to her over the course of the years, one thing is apparent, she has many skills up her sleeve, and is a great general and strategist despite her impulsive nature. Armed with an eye for detail and an excellent sense of traits in any given person, she is able to quickly assess strengths and weaknesses of allies and enemies alike to better manipulate them for better or worse.

Talamaru herself can be rather sporadic and unpredictable, playing a game of Russian Roulette all the time on how she’ll take things. The only person who’s even more spontaneous then Talamaru is Sephrikim Seph, and only because once a task is at hand, Talamaru is as focused as a sniper’s sight. She can get obsessive to the point of overlooking the feelings of those around her and making her seem cold and hostile. While her focus and talent make her a fearsome opponent, surprisingly the more allies around the weaker she becomes due to her lack of faith in a person’s abilities and feeling she must put forth the effort to defend or attack in their stead. When it comes down to it, she is a do it yourself type of person who rarely allows anyone to do something she views she can do better. (Which with her “ego” is just about everything...)

However, for all of her power and strategic thinking, her main weaknesses are, like most, psychological. This is all due in part to Naoruken and his initiating her conscience after her revival with his kindness and chiding. She is easily susceptible to guilt and doubt when faced with the consequences of her actions in the repercussions on her close friends. Of course, these weaknesses are often limited to the use of the same close friends, so overall she is still a nearly unstoppable foe. The only other noteworthy weaknesses is her complete lock up upon mana lock, but such a task is limited to high power curses or spells, and her fear of the void realm, caused by her mind being banished to the void realm when she was punished.

Yet another notable part of Talamaru’s character is her mental aspect. Her emotions are split up amongst several different sides of herself, all named after colors. Each is a different incarnation that she has lived and controller of a primary emotion as well as light and dark. Appearance: Dresses in silvers and blues. Generally in loose robes and long overcoats, always in light fabrics. Always clean and tidy of appearance, usually leaves his hair free but will tie it back on adventures or formal occasions.

Bio:
Naoruken is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Calm and considerate, it’s rare for him to ever loose his cool. However his kind nature should not be mistaken for weakness. He has acquired a strong backbone over his many years of life and hardships and is rarely hesitant to speak his mind. Always ready to back up a friend, he’s a powerful ally to anyone worthy of his trust.
Considered the “Great Mana Summoner”, this title is in no way an exaggeration. He has an almost boundless supply of mana to fuel his countless high level spells and summons acquired over years of spiritual and mental training.
Despite being the God of Wisdom, he is always willing to admit that there is no way he can ever know everything, and severely despises when anyone calls him stupid with reference to his title as a God. In truth, for being so full of knowledge, he can be foolish over certain simple things.
However, for holding such a cheerful guise, many troubling things lie beneath the calm surface. Being of an intellectual mind, he is prone to dwelling on things, and with his age has many hardships to dwell upon for he is not an actual God, but a Mortal God.
Over the course of his mortal life, he met Talamaru and fell in love with her. When Talamaru suddenly left without so much as a good bye, Sol, as he was called as a mortal, decided he would become a God himself by striking a deal with the God of Night, Nacht. Through the aid of Nacht and his half mortal son Xell, Sol became the God of Wisdom Naoruken in order to be close to Talamaru. It wouldn’t be until much later when Talamaru would find out he was Sol.
Regardless of a long standing fear that Talamaru left him as a one night stand, he has remained faithful and devoted to Talamaru even through her defiance of the Gods. He is also the reason for her revival on Earth by breaking God law to bring her to her Goddess body.
To a point, Naoruken’s devotion to her is his greatest strength because for her he has the capacity to do just about anything his morals normally wouldn’t allow him to. This is also cause for many troubles with many of the acts he’s done for the wayward Goddess.
With the ability to change into any number of Draconic forms, he is ready and willing to fight for what he holds dear with everything he has.
It should also be noted he has an alternate personality labeled “Dark” Whereas Naoruken has reservations upon the darker forbidden arts, Dark does not, and this seems to be his real purpose of life.

I'm psyched about being so close to 600. my only problem is... there's no way I can do something pretty for it. none.

So that gives us a few choices.... I can try and dig up something old that I've colored on my archive.... or draw something and submit it in pencil. (either way, I can't guarantee a masterpiece...)

And if anyone is bothering to read this... I have absolutely NO qualms with people drawing my chars... I just want credit for the character, and to be told obviously! I LOVE fanart! it's the greatest glee I get all day! (well, besides stealing everything that's not nailed down in Oblivion....)

Now I was meandering my messages, when a fellow Deviant I watch, , had left a journal entry wondering if there were any Really Real Gamer girls out there. ... well, I was a bit perplexed on the "Really Real" part (I was wondering if she meant guys who play chicks online or something...) so I read through and noted all of her really strict rules for being a "hardcore" gamer girl.

You know... it really spoke to me. There is INDEED a stereotype out there that Gamer Girls are all Nintendogs, DDR, Guitarhero playing people. That's just not true. Don't get me wrong, I've played Nintendogs and DDR... but they're not really my forte. I like RPG's, Action/Adventure, Platforming, and Strategy RPG's. those are my bread and butter.

However it doesn't seem fair that game companies, and everyone else for that matter, have this belief that girls won't play anything not related to shopping or cute fluffy things. that's just retarded. I like hacking limbs off my enemies just as much as the next person. my gender shouldn't say that I'll be worried that blood will get on my characters "totally fashionable" dress. In any case, I think that maybe it's time I state just a few of the things I've done in my last decade of gaming, that make me proud to say, I'm a Gamer. And it is this exact thing, (relatively, I had to edit it..) word for word, that I sent in my reply to angelkatie...

Hookshot was the best device ever created, only beat out by the double clawshot of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Talim is the freakin most fun ever to use on people in Soul Caliber 2, and I don't care if people complain about how unfair she is in a fight. Suck it up, learn guard impact.

You know your parents are awesome when they take you out a midnight to pick up Legend of Zelda, the Windwaker, and let you stay home from school to play it the next day.

Blowing stuff up isn't just optional... it's REQUIRED to fully enjoy a game. Throwing fireballs at enemies is a hysterical sort of fun that leave a person with warm fuzzies every time they do it. Kind of like watching a hulking giant of a warrior fall to his death while playing Oblivion.

You haven't heard maniacal laugher until you have heard me when I was playing Disgaea 2, and realized that if I hurled one exploding penguin, it was game set and match.

ANYWAYS... I just realized yesterday was the death or my update a day spree (crud...) and that upsets me (HULK SMASH!)

but thats not what I'm writing a journal entry about. I'm just lettign anyone who cares know I'll be gone for a few days. (WHOO! STOP THE PRESSES! SOMEONE NOBODY CARES ABOUT IS LEAVING FOR THREE DAYS!!!)

I'd go into details... but I am paranoid. therefore.... NO DETAILS FOR YOU! (yea... like I gotta worry about any stalkers... no one reads these...)

So, hopefully I'll have an actual update when I get back (don't get excited... it'll probably be pencil sketches...)

IE: Tal: "So it was total complete BURNINATION!!!!"
Nao: "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! AND ALL THAT IS HOLY! STOP KILLING
THE LANGUAGE!"

18! 18! 18! 18! 18!

.. you thought I was gonna do (18!) 18 times didn't you? haha.

no, see, the number has relevance for me.

it is only the name of one of the coolest characters EVER!
and by this I mean Android 18 from DBZ. she was AWESOME! she was the only kick butt chick through the whole series! (Launch was cool but come on.. they cut her out in DB.... jerks... Chi-chi... well... no one took her seriously anyways.... and Pan... pan doesn't count. neither does Bulma. don't get me wrong I like all of em but... eh.)

18 had that monotone sarcastic humor I like so much. she's also served as excellent inspiration for Talamaru, my fiery Goddess of Misery. She's one half of the pair I use as model for Talamaru's "Goddess" behavior. Thus, she's a big deal to me.
(The other half if anyone cares, was Ryoko From Tenchi Muyo. she's so frikkin awesome I can't even describe it. Ayeka was neat for a princess but you ALL know Ryoko was frikkin sweet and would totally own Ayeka in a fight.)

Thus, seeing this number made me write this pointless entry as a sort of tribute to one of the fundamental strong female leads in Anime that helped fuel my desire to make strong female lead characters.

Look around video games people... I know that there ARE some awesome, strong females.... but there aren't many that are the main character and readily come to mind. (Lara Croft doesn't count sadly no matter how awesome she is, EVERYONE'S heard about her. and no, people like Tifa from FF7 or Freya from FF9 don't count either. they're cool yes, but they aren't the LEAD character!)

Thus, we need some cool strong female leads. let's hope I can make Talamaru as legendary as Lara Croft in the gaming industry (and not because of her boob size thank you...) we'll just have to wait and see...
