Take a look at this picture. It's amazing ain't it? While not as sharp as some night shots I've seen come out, it's still a beautiful picture that captures enough detail without the distraction of a flash or it being too dark.

Now my question is, how do I get a shot like this?! I bought a Canon Powershot 480. A simple digital camera I know. I've tried my best to take some night shots at Old Town recently and I thought they came out good, until I saw them on the computer and they were out of focus or blurry. I hated it.

Can anyone offer me tips with such a camera? Please help thanks!

Notice the waterbrush type of coloring? I can't seem to pull this off for the life of me. Also, I'd like to just start coloring over my pencil work instead of always using Illustrator. I want to pull off that sketched-look feel ala this:

If anyone has some tips or advice, that'd be great.

I haven't been able to draw much lately. Had my mind on so much stuff lately. Plus, I've been busy working at my new job (which is going great btw) or when I can, chilling with friends. I'm slowly starting to pay off some debt, which is good. Thank God. I'm blessed. If I can knock off this credit card by the end of the year, then I can finally start saving for my intended trips I intend to take next year.

I have some goals kept in the back of my mind for 2010....personal goals. It's time for a change of direction and a sense of stabability. But of course, it's up to me. Let's hope and pray.

1. I worry about the red ring of death and overheating thing. I have it set horizontal inside my tv stand. Will it overheat there? I tried to keep it away from the back of the stand as much as possible without it falling over.

2. How do I register for the warranty so that way if something happens, I can send my Xbox in?

3. I got the Pro edition, right after the price cuts this summer. Does it true that this comes with a new chip?

Wow, what's the first thing I wake up to? This on Yahoo saying that the world's biggest family entertainment corporation bought out a legendary comic book studio. O_o Interesting! Well, at least they're trying to appeal to us male fans instead of focusing on females with it's Hannah Montana bullshit. This also means that Disney owns the Marvel characters now. Interesting!! Where will this go now!? A possible collaboration in a comic of Darkwing Duck and Gambit?! A short with Bolt and Wolverine?!

Well, I have some awesome personal news! A week or so ago I got hired to work at Isleta Resort & Casino as a Guest Service Agent!!!!!!! I was so happy when I landed the job! A Guest Service Agent basically is someone who caters to the guests. It's a mix of bellboy, valet and conceirge (sp?). I started my orientation today and I start training Thursday. I can't wait to get my first check! I have so much to do with it ha! My schedule will be kinda random at first. Here's the website if you wanna take a look where Electric works in his home state! It's on the Tribal Indian Reservation. And there's some benefits, too!

And let's not forget something! I did finally said goodbye to working for Norwegian Cruise Lines after 3 years of being employed with them. It was a mixed bag leaving them, I left with good evaulations and marks, but kinda bitter because towards the end I felt the company was cutting corners and not giving me the proper growth or handling my requests for contracts properly. So I felt it was time. I WILL STILL TRAVEL, OF COURSE! But no longer from the safety of a ship. I'll miss all the great people around the world that I've come to know working on ships. But it's time for the next chapter in life!

I was randomly browsing today at my gallery to see what pieces are popular. It seems you all, as well as the public at large, seem to like my Pinky and the Brain piece I did. I remember the day I did that, vaguely lol. I put so much time into it. Mostly the background. It was right at the beginning of 2007. The characters didn't take long at all to sketch, although the idea kind of took my time. The background of the piece took me a while, I drew all the little things on the blackboard as well as making sure the scene looked like a cel from the series. My efforts paid off because today, it's my most popular piece! The other top 4, besides that piece, that seem to be popular are Oliver & Company with 233 faves, Disney Afternoon with 205, Brothers with 183 and the huge Disney characters collage with 173! Thank you all for liking it, as well as all my other arts which I treasure. I value your nice comments. It gives me the drive to produce more!

Like it says on the bottom of every journal entry I write, I thank you all for watching and faving my stuff. I also wanna drop a special thank you to those who constantly comment and fav my work, I can't name them all out of memory at hand, but they know who they are. You guys rock.

Also, in other news, I have a job interview tomorrow!!!!!!! It's for Isleta Casino, as a resort guest service agent. Like a bellboy almost. I hope I get it. Interviews are the half step and I'm greatful for every opportunity. I'll write another entry on my decision to leave NCL. But I hope I nail this, I'd like some money to start school and life with college again.

For a couple of years now, there's a couple of human OC's I'm dying to show the world. But my greatest concern has always been someone claiming my ideas for their own and turning the tables on me. This has not stopped me from releasing my furry OC's to the world (as you can see in my gallery, OC's mean Original Character BTW). But I'm wondering if my own creations might be used against me.

This brings me to the topic at hand. If you upload your stuff online and include your own copyright, does this considered to be BY LAW copyrighted under the Copyright Law automatically?? If I truly wanna safeguard my creations, should I register them at the copyright office or is this unnecessary?? How do artists protect their creations?

What to do? Please help.

Speaking personally, I gotta say Marvel's. Almost all of Marvel's characters seem to come from real life places in the real world, compared to a majority of DC's characters that live in some fictional place.

Secondly, Marvel's characters seem to have more bad-asses compared to DC's. Batman and The Flash are the only DC heroes I like that are considered to be bad-ass. I mean, Marvel has Wolverine! And after seeing X-Men Origins: Wolverine when it first came out, that solidified it! And of course there's much more such as Cyclops, Gambit, Cable, Iceman and more (although Spider-Man used to be in my list, I've lost interest in him after Spiderman 3.)

I've been doing a lot of soul-searching lately. My time on ships looks like it's at it's end. But in my employment with NCL, it's offered me many opportunities, met and befriended so many great people and got to travel the world.
But lately I've been feeling underappreciated by the company, especially when they've been favoring newer people. It's not cool. But it looks like the real world beckons again.

I plan on attending an art college this fall. Wish me luck on that. Also, keep checking out my music recommendations. You won't be sorry! Great stuff I've been coming across lately!

The day I sign off, I'm gonna be best man at my friend Adriano's wedding!!!!!! I'm so honored to be a part of his special day and to be best man. You guys have no idea I'm so stoked. I'll be up there in Destin, Florida before heading back to New Mexico on the 21st.

I'm still awaiting confirmation on a contract to take me back to Europe. I really miss it and look forward to getting back there. If I get this, I'd be going to such places as Sweden, Russia and Germany! Wish me luck that I get it! I'll be broke though cuz I know how expensive Europe was for me last year.

Well, I hope to get some arts uploaded when I get back. I've been sketching when I'm not at the crew bar or in port. Tomorrow we're in Mexico and I'm gonna be swimming with dolphins!!!!!!!! Amazing I've always wanted to do this and it'll probably be my last chance! Life is so rewarding and I look forward to seeing what the future brings!

The only thing to gripe about is that I'm broke now, my bills have zapped me. Being at home is expensive. And since NCL don't pay me when I'm on shore leave I don't earn nada. That's frustrated me, especially because it'll be an expensive year. I have the honor of being the best man to my good friend Adriano's wedding coming up in April and I need to save for that (it's in Florida). And also I'm leaving to China for a holiday at the end of the year! I'm excited and things look on the upswing.

I've also been back at work doing some new arts. It's been a hassle because I have Illustrator on my old PC (i have a shiny new PC now) and I switch back and forth lol.

Well, being at home this whole time's been good, like I said above. Although I have gotten restless. And me being restless isn't good. It makes me question things, life, etc etc. So much! I'm the type of guy who likes to be on the go doing stuff and then chillaxing. Blame it on ADHD the adult version ha! It also must be a product of growing older it seems.

This will be my last year working for the cruise industry. It's time to get back to boring old real-life eventually. I need to settle down eventually as well, I think it'll ground me out. But it's been a good 3 years for me. So many memories. It's almost time to begin the next chapter in my life.

Also, thanks to all who have watched me and faved the arts I've done. I appreciate and look forward to all the favs and comments. But one thing that puzzles me, I've been on DA now since the end of 2003, and I only have 60,000 page views. O___O how's that possible?! That's people here who have been here less and have waaaay more then I do! >< Ha, call that a ego trip but it's true lol.

Which brings me to the topic. I can't get a hold of anyone who has Photoshop. A family friend of ours can't find his copy. So now I'm stuck with no way of working on my art until I can get a copy. Because I AM NOT SPENDING OVER 500 BUCKS FOR IT! That's extremely expensive and I need to keep my priorities in order. Shit, I haven't even bought an XBox 360 yet and gone next-gen (well I'm not at home much anyway).

I shall have to figure this out. But I am accepting commissions. No art trades at the moment because this lad's gotta make some money to pay bills!

Well, the New Year is only days away! I'll be spending it with a couple friends at an OJay's concert so I'm excited for that!

I started off doing the Mexican Riveria for one cruise and then we repositioned to South America after that. And now we're doing the itinerary from Chile to Argentina. It's been nice and the places are very beautiful. I'm quite a nature guy and we pass glaciers and there's so much unspoilt terrain. My favorite port has been Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world (at least that's what they claim) in fact, I'm in the town right now using free wi-fi! We tender a lot (taking boats to shore). I've done a couple of excursions on this run and hope to do some more before I leave.

For those who visit and are members of Carioca Incorporated, I'm sorry I haven't been able to do much for the past couple of months since I've been away but rest assured my co-pres there will take care of the things I can't when I'm gone. If you're a fan of Joe Carioca, please become a member! He's the bomb, naturally.

Well, I hope to finish up some new arts when I get back to the States. I've worked on some sketches during my free time so look for those soon!

I'm feeling fairly good and relaxed at the moment. As you all know I went to Europe this summer as part of my job for Norwegian Cruise Lines and I had a blast. Good times. Good times. I also did a two-week contract this past September for 2 weeks doing Canada/New England. I loved the ports. We hit up, Halifax, St. John N.B., Bar Harbor, Boston and Newport. It's a good run to do and not that many passengers compared to doing Europe or the Caribbean. If you're interested in seeing some pics, go to my sub-site here on DA for my travel photo portfolio:

I have a friend's wedding to go to next week so looking forward to seeing her again. It's been 2 years since I've seen her.

Anyways, hope you all are well. I haven't worked on any new art over the summer but I have some ideas to sketch out when I get back. It's been FOREVER since I've used Photoshop!!!!!!!!!!!! O____O I always have that fear I'll forget how to use it properly (my knowledge is limited). I've had pieces in my hard drive back home that I wanna get to start on since I didn't have time before I left back in May.

Thanks for all the dozens of favs to random people/watchers over the summer. It's been a chore sorting and looking at them all, but naturally, I LOOOVE it and appreciate it. Thanks!

I've enjoyed experiencing all of this and have been trying to soak it all in.

I come home in August and have been counting down the days since last week! I've been exhausted. Worked hard and played hard. But Europe is so expensive I feel like I haven't saved enough money this contract. And with a wedding in August I plan on going to and bills, I feel like I have no money for personal use much lol. Also, with some of the mediocre YC's I work with it's been blah. I'm ready for home now but I plan on seeing much more before I go!

I'll be back on the art front during the time I'm home. Thanks for the comments, favs and your patience!

Well, I've been uploading pics on Facebook and Myspace and I have not much time left so I'll jet. See you all soon when I'm back in America. That'll be August 17th.

This past few weeks has seen me visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa and go to Rome, Italy on a tour. This week I'm supposed to be doing some wine tasting so I'm excited for that! Also plan on seeing some friends during this tour.

Well, I won't be long, since my laptop isn't charging and there's no outlets here that'll fit my American plugs! XD And I have quite a bit to do online so I'll be letting you all go for now. I'll be back home in August but I'll try and post another update before then. Today I'm in Malta taking advantadge of fast, FREE wireless, woot!

I'm loving it here in Europe.....but IT'S SO EXPENSIVE! O____O Gah!

BTW, our ports on this run our Valleta, Malta; Naples, Italy; Civitavecchia, Italy; Livorno, Italy and Villefrance, France. All beautiful in their own right!

IN EUROPE!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right! Europe! I just got the confirmation e-mail from shoreside in Miami and now I'll be based out of Barcelona, Spain from May 4th to approximately August 18th!! I'll be visiting France, Italy and Malta in addition to Spain so I'm thankful, blessed and very excited to have this opportunity. I hear this part of Europe is expensive so hopefully I won't be too broke throughout my contract.

Well, my contract on the Spirit was good. Not the best but definitely not the worst. I got the chance to see Guatemala for the first time during this contract. It's a Third World country for sure I think. But it's got it's beauty and I'm glad I got to experience it. The other ports (Hondruas, Belize and Mexico) I've already been too dozens of times before so those lost their appeal. The crew were nice so I can't complain about that, that's what makes a great contract. It was quiet though because nobody really went out to the crew bar that much lol. I also didn't get to spend as much time in New Orleans as I thought I was going to but that's okay I guess.

When I was onboard I did quite A LOT of doodling and sketching so expect some new art hopefully very soon. I got a lot of work in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to do O_O . For those who have wanted a sequel to the Jon Talbain & Cammy White comic, "A Fateful Twist", good news! Because I have started sketches for a final act to the comic! Be on the lookout for that!

Wow, what can I say about Rio? I LOVED IT! It's such a city of contrast. You got your rich and you got your poor all mixed together. It's differen then a lot of big cities are as far as that because they poor live very close to the rich in the favelas, the poor neighborhoods.

I saw all the typical things that I had to see. I went to Corcovado and saw Christ the Redeemer, I went to Sugar Loaf and admired Rio's views even more, and I went to the Samba parades at the Sambadromo. It was fun and I brought back a lot of good memories back home with me. This was the best and I'm so glad I came here to Rio. I even went hang gliding!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^____^ That was awesome! It zapped a lot of my money away but it was SO worth it!!!!!!!!! I suggest everyone give it a try! It felt so great to fly up there like a bird.

Well, I'm broke now. I leave back to work full time on the cruise ships again on the 17th. Hopefully it'll be a good contract. It'll be my fifth. So if you don't here from me for a couple of months you'll know why.

Thanks once again for all your well wishes. They mean a lot to me!

We went to the hostel from the airport and I unpacked. Then we went to Forte de Copacabana and stayed there all day and watched the sunset from the rocks near Ipanema beach. Amazing. And then last night we went to Lapa and partied a bit. I didn't drink since it IS RIO O_O lol. It rained on us hard and then we decided to call it a night.

This morning I got up before everybody lol. I'm just here on the internet here at the hostel catching up on my Myspace/Facebook and stuff. So I thought i'd drop you all a line.

I love Rio and I don't wanna leave. It's amazing here!

I got to see some old friends again and make new ones as well. One of the YC's I worked with is from Brazil and he's supposed to meet me when I get to Rio in February!! How exciting! I hope he can get there in time so he can be my translator! XD lol I've studied my Portuguese here and there in preparation but I'm still not fluent.

We were based out of Miami and we went to Samana (in the Dominican Republic, been there once before but didn't get off here for this cruise), Tortola, Antigua, Barbados and Saint Lucia! Saint Lucia was my favorite because it was soooo green! Followed second by Barbados because the town we docked in (a town called Bridgetown) was actually farily decent and they have a beach called the Boatyard where a lot of the crew seem to go (probably because of the free drink you get when you go in). It was my first time setting foot in Antigua, Barbados and Saint Lucia. The other two I've been to before on my first contract on the Norwegian Dawn. So I was excited to get a chance to get off for a bit at each of those places and do stuff. Great places!

Also, the crew were awesome! My fellow youth counselors were amazing and we got on pretty good! That, to me, makes a contract a good contract. Otherwise, it's impossible. I miss them all already and wish I would've stayed longer to have gotten to know the rest.

My flight got in from Miami late last night. And to top it off, I had to work this morning so fairly burnt out but not too much. I expect that to change soon x.x.

I'm happy though. Good times good times!

In other news, I paid off my orthodontist bill today! Yes yes.....2 years and apx. 5,000 dollars later I'm done O___O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So that's one BIG bill out of my way. Also, while I was gone, my parents took my car to get my fender fixed (I cracked it when I backed out of the carport wrong, I was soooo mad!) and I got a few bills paid on time as well. That's important!

So, yeah, that was, in brief, my time on my fourth contract aboard the Norwegian Pearl. I wanna see if I can go back for one more seasonal contract and then I think I'll be done with ships for good. It's been a good run and to think I've been employed with them for almost two years now. Crazy how time flies! Also, this job here back home (utility locator) I've been working for 9 months now. It's good money but hard work.

Well, that's about it! Expect some more art from me hopefully soon! I need to get my creative juices flowing once again!

For the lack of art, like I say. Work's been getting on me like mad and I just don't have the spirit anymore. I've been letting the art drive go dormant for a while. I usually do art when I least expect it. The Invader Zim piece I did I'm still not entirely proud of...since I envisioned it so much more.

You also might've noticed I deleted two pieces from the gallery, the two commissions that I did. It turns out for some reason I'm not pleased with them. For those who commissioned them, thanks again! ^_^ And I'll eventually do another set that I can be proud of.

In other news, besides being off to the ships. I had my braces taken off. My teeth are all straight and sexy now fuck yeah! But I have to wear the retainer 24-7 for a while, I'm getting used to it but no more metal mouth. They took my pictures for my dental records today and I looked like SHIT in them!!! >___< Gah bad lighting I look all blotched out. I hate bad pics of me lol I had plenty of those in high school. O.o

Here we obssess over our looks and think live is just a trivial thing (well, I'm guilty of this for sure) but to live life the way she did, all because some idiot drove drunk and slammed into her car injuring her, it's something that makes you think. Also getting the images copyrighted and stuff. It can be expensive! X_X Copyrighting my original characters was pricey.

And I'm sorry people. ^_^ But for now I'm gonna have to say no to ANY trades and requests for now. One reason....when I do trades for some people they don't do one back for me some of the time *eyeballs those guilty* and tthe second reason.....with my workload at work and the hot temps outside, I just don't have the time as such.

Which brings me to the commissions. Keep an eye out on this journal for my limit. As I can only handle so many workloads. ^_^ Or I'll let you know the schedule if i gets busy.

It was rainy weather and he was traveling from a nearby town when he lost control and went into oncoming traffic. He careened with a semi and the only damange he suffered was severe damage to the back of his work truck. LUCKILY AND THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, he's alright! He was in shock for a bit. Me and my mom were so relieved that he escaped okay. Man....I don't wanna think about what happened if he went under those semi's wheels, or if he hadn't been wearing a seatbelt!

This is a lesson to never take your parents or other loved ones for granted. I know this now. Even though I get annoyed with my parents every now and then, I love them a lot and I appreciate everything they've done or have done for me. You should make the most of your time on this earth and with your family and/or friends. You never know what tomorrow could bring............

5. Avril Lavigne-Girlfriend
Year Released: 2007
I just saw this video today on YouTube. Very interesting vid, never seen Avril so "pop" before. The song is pretty catchy and I love it towards the end, very catchy. Download this one, I know I did.

4. Justin Timberlake-What Goes Around...Comes Around
Year Released: 2007
This one's off his 2006 efford, Futuresex/Lovesounds. It's got a really great beat to it. I haven't bothered to watch the video yet because I've read it involves a storyline and I don't think that's required in videos. But the song is great! I haven't listened to it a lot lately but I liked it and it's one of his best.

3. Shakira-Rules
Year Released: 2001
This is another song I haven't listened to a whole lot but I did listen to it the other day in my massive music collection. This is off her 2001 album, Laundy Service It's got a great Latin vibe, almost like all her songs, and I think it's pretty catchy! A worthy download.

2. Rachel Stevens-So Good
Year Released: 2005
This song was from her 2005 album, Come And Get It. The whole album was excellent and I'm surprised it didn't do better in the UK Charts. She should try cracking America. You might know her from S Club 7 or her gloriously sexy magazine shoots. This song is extremly catchy and infectious and I love to jam to it here and there. It's got an electro-pop time of feel. Rachel Stevens rocks!

Sublime-Bad Fish
Year Released: 1992
This song screams "surfer jam"! This was off their debut album back in 1992, 40 oz. To Freedom. I picture being at the beach or somewhere on the coast with friends when I hear this one. I remember hearing this now and again back in the late 90's and I felt a nostalgia rush and downloaded it for my IPod. A great song to kick back to, especially coming home from work or college!

Well that's it for this week peeps. As for me, nothing new. Work and school have kept me busy which is good and the weekends have been spent either with friends or being a bum and being online.

Happy St. Patrick's Day! What are you all doing this weekend? I'd like to get drunk but I'm starting to cut back from beer and shit. Anyways, here we go, this week's top five:

5). Emma Bunton-Midnight and Martinis
Year Released: 2007
This is a B-side to her current single, All I Need To Know. While not as catchy as some of her other tracks on her recent album, Life in Mono, she successfully captures the bossa nova and charm of her past album, Free Me. You'll feel like your kissing the dusk on a cool Brazilian evening with this little gem. It's a very hard song to get, if you'd like it, give me your e-mail and I'll send it!

4.) Delinquent Habits-Tres Deliquentes
Year Released: 1996
This song reminds me so much of my heritage (for those who don't know, I'm Hispanic/Latino). Do any of you remember this? It has a Mexican type of flair, with some Latino hip-hop thrown in and a beautiful trumpet and trombone for the chorus. Check the video out on Youtube.

3.) Sugababes-Joy Division
Year Released: 2005
This song is from their 2005 release, Taller In More Ways. This is one of the catchier tracks on the album, next to the infectious "Red Dress". Those of you Europeans will know this if you're familar with them or have the album. It's a great song. It has a great chorus and some very unique lyrics. The beat's also great!

2.) Tori Amos-Virginia
Year Released: 2002
This track is off her 2002 effort, Scarlet's Walk. Tori Amos is one of my favorite music artists, she's always made such interesting and emotional music. Scarlet's Walk has so far been her best album, IMHO. This song, Virginia, seems to be about a girl "betraying all she knows". It's such an eerie song a repated listen will be worth it! The end of the song has Tori wailing a mysterious echo "oooo...Virginia....". A great listen!

1.) Janet Jackson-Runaway
Year Released: 1995
And here's my number one recommendation for the week! Janet Jackson's Runaway! This song describes one of my hobbies perfectly, traveling! It's such a feel-good song with an Indian/Middle Eastern type of beat to it, with a bit of a hip-hop beat thrown in. In the video directed by Marcus Nispel (No Doubt, Spice Girls, Guy, Puff Daddy e.t.c), we see Janet traveling to exotic locations, even Rio!! ^_^ Woot!

1.) Norah Jones-Not Too Late (album)
Release Date: 2007

Unless you're not into this type of music or live in a cave, Norah Jones is one of the best things to come out of the music industry in ages. Her new album, Not Too Late, is a very well-crafted piece of beauty, just like her first two albums. Standout songs include....."Wish I Could" (a beautifully somber number)...."The Sun Doesn't Like You" (a country-twinged song that's awesome)...."Wake Me Up" (a song that reminds you of driving down a country road in late afternoon) and "Be My Somebody" (another country-twinged type of song that has a great chorus). Not Too Late is amazing and I suggest it.

2.) Shaznay Lewis-Now You're Gone (song)
Release Date: 2004

None of you outside the UK will know who this is. She's a member of the group, All Saints. She released this song back in 2004 off her only debut album, Open. The members of All Saints weren't successful outside of the band and their comeback last year was somewhat of a flop. But Shaznay's the talent behind them and this song is a great song. It has a Caribbean-type of rythym with a bit of Stevie Wonder thrown in. One of the best tracks on her album.

3.) Sugababes-Round Round (song)
Release Date: 2002

Again, if you're not into the UK pop scene, you won't know this group. They're amazing! Great voices and beautiful faces. They've been around for ages (two members have quit though so the lineup's changed over the years). This song, Round Round, went no.1 in the UK Charts back in 2002. It's a very catchy song! Produced by UK pop powerhouse Xenomania, this track is a great one for jamming in your I-Pod!

Second of all, I like reading comments. So I've come up with an idea. When my days are uneventful, if not for work, hanging out with pals (once in a while now thanks to schedules and being lazy) or college, sometimes I'll waste my time online at Myspace or here on DA. Which is where you all come in. My idea....starting this week, I'll be posting a playlist of my favorite songs for the week that you all gotta listen for and check them out! ^_^ It'll be kind of like a Total Request Live in a way. ^_^ Please check on my journal every week for new favorite songs of the week from yours truly, moi!

In other news, man, what a somewhat unproductive start to 2007. I've spent a month of it unemployed since leaving my cruise ship job and going back to fucking college. Man, I miss the traveling. I miss the gals. Lots of lovelies but didn't get serious of course. It's all about playing the field ^_^. There will be the right girl who I'll settle down with someday, but still to much to see and do in life before that! Must get a cracking on that. I'm going to Rio de Janeiro next year and while recent news reports online have surfaced off new bloddshed and dangers in the city of Carnaval, I'm still intent on going. For I hear such good things about the locals, th e Cariocas. And I wanna go here before I get too old (lol 30 gah, j/k j/k! )

Well, now I have a new job working at Great Plains Locating Services. I'm an underground utilities locator and it's tougher than it sounds. I go around the Albuquerque area spotting out telephone/TV cables for construction. You know those signs where you see "CALL BEFORE YOU DIG" that's what I do, I come before you dig and spot your underground wires.

And college still sucks. The only reason I ever dug school was the social life. Although in college it's kind of dead compared to high school unless you're in lots of classes or involved in clubs and fraternities or sororities. So blah.

Again, I'm looking forward to Rio! Maybe I'll find a hot Brasiliero gal to shag. ^^ *crosses fingers*
