When I get to crossroads in my life, for some reason I find myself turning back to Labyrinth. It's my way of centering myself, and it's cheaper than therapy.

I couldn't agree more.

I'm in need of some cheap therapy today for reasons that I won't bore you all with. There's something comforting in throwing back your mind to a story line that is so familiar, to a world you swear you know every pathway through. It's more than the prospect of love or adventure, it's the need for the familiar, protecting embrace of creatures who know you well- whether that be a dominating male figure who will gladly make all of your desicions for you, or the companionship of a dwarf who just wants to be accepted for who he is, cowardnice and all.

I'm officially in my 6th month of pregnancy and boy is running around trying to do promotional work or any kind of photos getting tougher and tougher. Pulling an extra 20 lbs around on your stomach is hard work, and while I'm glad that mean he's healthy it doesn't do much for my stamina.

are getting used locally, as well as all over their web site [link] It's mighty flattering to have your images used so publically.

And I was at the Third Annual Pheonix Faerie Festival this last weekend

Photos from that are going to the PR person as well, so hopefully those should be on their web site, etc. soon.

That and we bought a house! I'm going to try real hard in the next month to get outside in the great weather with some models to take some more artistic photos- I miss the creativity! In the mean time I have started a sort of crafty blog, [link] Just a way to suggest creative ideas for the holidays and also show case some non-photo art work.

Frist off, this book

Is providing me with some great distraction and several good chuckles. Even if you haven't read the original Jane Austen novel (which, by the way, I recommend you do), you'll still find humor in the bizarre way they discuss the "unmentionables" all while throwing balls. "Pentagram of Death!"- sold me with those three words.

And I'm very please to show you all that the "skull" idea is growing nicely and turning into some real fun

instruction following rant

How hard is it to follow simple instructions???

Without going into specifics, I've just spent my morning dealing with
an idiot who chose not to follow very simple, easily laid instructions
prior to ordering prints via another print site. I'm talking a step-by-
step layout of what to do and even an admonishment of what NOT to do.
In which is stated several times that should instructions not be followed
mishaps will occure and I am not responsible for them.

Ugh!

Read instructions people. Oh, the hassel it will save you. Oh the head
aches that will be spared.

avoiding time

You ever have those moments in your life when you wish you could avoid time? Maybe you're scared out of your bleepin' mind about the future. Perhaps there's alot of stress going on. Or maybe it's all just going way to fast.

Cue my latest deviation

I like change. I mean, I sort of get bored easily. It probably has to do with having a creative mind- the next thing excites me, and wanting to suddenly paint the apartment a brand new color is not an uncommon urge in my world.

But recently, I just want to avoid time.

I'm going to be a mom. We're house hunting. I'm another year older, and well on my way to my thirties (hey, I didn't say it was old by any means; it's just... when the &%$#^&! did I get here?? ) I'm up to my neck in two big writing projects that could prove to either great successes or failures in the next year.

And it all makes me want to go find a nice hidey-hole or find a magical umbrella and just avoid time for a while.

Here's to the future. It's frickin scary, but brand spankin' new.

So I'm head ache free again!! Woohoo!!!

But what do I do as soon as relief has come? Get back on the computer for insane amounts of time. I really should learn my lesson, but as Alice once said, "I give myself very good advice, but rarely seldom follow."

I tackled photomanips today. Hadn't done one in forever. But as I thought about how much I've learned in the last year, I felt good about what I was accomplishing.

So there's a group started over on facebook to help promote my writing. I'm really pushing to get into a local book store called Changing Hands (yes, fans of Stephenie Meyer may recognize it... I live fairly close to it. No, I've never seen Ms. Meyer there. Don't ask.), but that's going to take investment on my part. Thus I've got to promote the wazzoo out of my work.

Might help if I tell yo where to go, hahaha... er. Right. The group is called, Fans of The Trouble with Familiar.

I mentioned that I'm in the beginning stages of a movie/story thing with upcoming director Travis Marsala. The group page will feature rough glimpses into the early stages of the work, plus any other projects that might be simmering.

My brother, who is a film nut and a director in his own right [link] recently approached me, told me this really good story line (think Big Fish meets Inkheart; really can't say more than that, don't want someone else running with the idea now do I? ), and said, "There's a writer involved in the story line. I want you to pen out the stories he'll be referencing while I work on the screen play."

Is it a pay gig? No. Will we be famous? Eh, probably not. Is it the first time though my bro with his own web series, a credit on imdb.com has ever really asked me to be involved in one of his projects? Yes, and I am all-aboard for the ride!

I get to flesh out some five shorts for him, and the voices in my head have never been louder (well, aside from that one instance, but the neighbors have never really forgiven me...ahem...). It feels so good to have the creative juices following again- they taste like fresh coffee and smell like cloves...hhhmmmm....

10 weeks, need a back drop

I'm offically ten weeks in to this business called pregnancy, and I am finally starting to feel a tad normal again. I actually sat down to write today. Write. As in put words to paper. Amazing. I know the photography stuffs have been lacking, but that's because of more than just the blahs, it has also been painfully hot outside. We've been in the highs of 110, even 115 for a few days, and in that sort of sickeningly gross heat one cannot venture out doors (I've tried). But in the next month or so I do have some stuff coming up that should prove to be promising.

Does anyone know of some good back drops? Or better yet even how to constructone yourself, like a mobile back drop you can take out with you? I have a tight budget, but I need one desperately.

On the road again...

I am off for a road trip to Florida (and I just realized like the dork I am that I've been spelling it Flordia in emails to people). Yeah!!! I've never been further east than New Mexico so I am very excited to make this trip.

I'm going armed with two cameras and two memory cards. Watch out- Oooo here she comes!

Preggers update: as I've intimated on my blog all ready some times being pregnant is like a scene straight out of Little Shop of Horrors. If my stomach suddenly split into a grotesque mouth, licked its lips and demanded, "Feed me Seymour!" I hardly think I'd be surprised. This lil'dude is hungry about every two hours, and when he/she wants to eat, he/she wants to eat. Get out of bed, stop what you're doing, ignore your husband, and feed me now. But I must admit, I luves the lil'dude without question

Stating the Obvious

That's right folks, quirky TC is pregnant!

Knowing that you have something growing inside you conjures up a variety of thoughts, everything from an Alien moment Oh $#%^&, it's gonna burst outta me!, to beginning to believe that yes indeed swallowing watermelon seeds is dangerous Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. TC, you have a healthy green melon!

Both trains of thought leave me smiling and probably appearing mildly insane.

Surprisingly the only bout of nervousness I've had was in meeting my new OB people. That whole experience is odd. First you get to fill out a bunch of paper work while sitting in a room filled wth a variety of men and women. Some of the women all ready have children, and they look so positively exhausted that you swear some of them are falling asleep while sititng up right. Others are an the verge of popping like swollen ticks. Neither one gives a very pretty picture of motherhood. Then there's the men, who look mildly uncomfortable or thoroughly freaked out. Between that, the paper work, the peeing in a cup, and sitting in a corner all by your lonesome, the nerves have a tendency to get worked up.

When you finally get called back you answer a long list of personal questions. You are sure that at any given moment they are going to ask you if you've ever impersonated an animal and coud you produce a photo of your self in a zeebra suit? Oh and what's your political preference? Sure, no problem. Then you get to don a scratchy paper outfit that looks as if it belongs in the latest Mugato fashion collection being modeled by Derek Zoolander (minus the hair gell and garbage motife).

I sang David Bowie's 'Kooks' and 'Life on Mars' to myself while sitting on the examining table, waiting patiently, nervously for the doctor to arrive. I was tempted to do air piano, but was cautious lest they had hidden cameras.

Expect updates and some photos along the way. This is our first and I am ocumenting the whole experience.

When the circle comes 'round

By now some of you know my writing mantra, "If I can connect to at least one reader, then I am successful."

I have had my fair share of compliments; people stopping to take the time to express some impact from one of my stories. I am still humble enough to be amazed when it does happen; it's a beautiful, cosmic thing to touch someone's life through the written word.

Last night I was with a couple who are very good friends of mine. The husband, whose name happens to be Tony, turns to me and says, "The trouble with familiar-,"

"Yes, what about it?" I ask.

"I was that guy."

It takes me a good moment to process what he means. My brow furrows and I look at him with intense curiosity, demanding he explain him self.

"In the army, when I was younger," he went on. "I knew a couple and we were all good friends. She lost her other half and I... well, I was that guy she called to come over, and we laid down on her bed together because she didn't want to be alone. We were both fully dressed, but I held her while she cried. It was just like your story."

"Really? But..but, wow, I didn't know that."

"Hardly anyone knew. Heck, I hadn't even told my wife about that, if happened so long ago. After I read your stroy though I told her about it. You captured that moment beautifully for having never actually lived it."

Imagine my surprise? I nearly cried. The Trouble With Familiar, the story its self, expresses one of my own greatest fears, and to know that someone lived those moments (be it that guy, or that woman), just touched me so deeply.

2. Since when does Labyrinth fanfiction = Labyrinth smut?

All right, all right, I'm not opposed to smut per say, but when it ends up in nearly every single one, in nearly perdictable fashions it gets a tad old. I'm not raggin' on anyone in particular here (by golly, some of you have got smut down to such a fine tuned appeal, I wonder if you'ved lived such scenarios out). BUT that being said, for the love of all that's pure and holy- shoot for originality people! Yes do we all ultimately want to see our favorite couple together- sure. Do we like romance- yes. But let's not forgo a stellar story line just so we can learn new ways to refer to certain body parts and how to describe adult-type-touching.

4. Divorce rate/ the First Few Years.

This one is kind of random and personal, but let me just say: stick to it people. I just celebrated 4 glorious years of being married (8 years of being together), and I have to say that once you get through trying to figure out how to live with another person (towels on the floor, laundry on the bed, shoes in front of the sofa), things are better. Way better. Like going from a kiddie ice cream cone, to full blown banana split, sort of good. My husband is the extra whip cream on top of my life (....was that an innuendo...) and I adore him for some many more reasons than I did when we first started out.

"Touch"

Touch

I blink.

The ceiling above me is white, smooth and bland. It is uncomplicated- I see it and know that it is a ceiling. Then a light flickers. I blink again. ThereÂs a fluorescent tube attached to the ceiling. The flickering causes shadows, brief and irritating. The white is now tinted grey; each flicker disrupts my certainty.

Something beeps next to me. Gently rolling my head to the side I see a monitor tracking my heart rate. The line moves creating peeks and valleys assuring me that I am alive. Then I actually feel my heart in my chest. I am certain that I am alive. This knowledge is more of an absolute than the fluorescent light or the white ceiling.

ÂWhy did she do it?Â asks a male voice. It is nearly a whisper, coming from across the room.

I stifle a moan. I donÂt want anyone to know that I am awake. There are some other certainties, or truths, that I am not ready to accept just yet. They are truths that are harsh, vulgar, and yes, violent. The light flickers again. I close my eyes.

Moving in a steady rhythm with my heart, my mind becomes aware. I sense the thin mattress under me and the equally thin hospital gown around me. My skin itches. In reaction my hands ball in to tight fists, hating the sensation. Every hair is lifting, each follicle swells, and I tighten my fists. My mind moves rapidly- no one is touching you. No, no one is touching me. It is only an itch. Slowly I relax my hands. I get a handle on my senses and calm my self.

I never want to be touched again. The thought is fierce. Being touched sounds horrible; it frightens me. It is part of one of those truths that I donÂt want to comprehend. The act of touch results in knowledge which results in responsibility, and then inevitably leads to choices. People, the majority, donÂt appreciate that chain reaction. IÂ I hate knowing therefore on some basic level I hate touch.

ÂDid they survive?Â Asks a different voice, a womanÂs.

How do I explain this? How do I justify my choices? To one it would seem as if I acted on justiceÂs behalf; to another, my actions would be those of a complete lunatic. Perhaps pleading insanity would be the wisest option. If I am crazy then I can be locked away safe in a padded room. Not a soul to worry about touching; just myself, a bed, and soft walls.

My skin itches again. I want to reach over and scratch. My own contact even feels a bit daunting- what horrible things will I confess to myself the moment my fingers touch my arm? Of course even the slightest movement could bring the ownersÂ of the voices closer. That prospect stills me.

ÂI know that you are awake.Â This voice belonging to a man is closer. ÂWill you not open your eyes?Â

Slowly I comply, turning slightly to the left to see who is with me. A man in a lab coat and dark rimmed glasses is sitting in a chair over a yard away. He is looking right at me. ThereÂs a badge clipped to his collar. I catch one word: psychiatrist. Great, I think returning my eyes to the ceiling. Someone is ahead of the game.

ÂMy name is Dr. Carlisle OÂShea. IÂm a psychiatrist. How are you feeling?Â

The question seems genuine enough, but IÂm in no mood for formalities. I just want to ensure that no one ever touches me again.

ÂDo you know who you are? Do you know where you are?Â
I blink twice in response.
ÂVery well.Â
He shifts in his chair. I am thankful he keeps his distance.

Then thereÂs the sound of paper being slid about. In my peripheral I see a folder on his lap filled with sheets of paper and forms. ÂTwo men dead and a family of four are alive,Â he says factually. ÂAs far as can be determined the family was targeted at random, and you were not acquainted with any of them.Â A pause. ÂDoes this sound familiar to you?Â
I admit to myself that I like the sound of his voice and I risk a response. ÂYes.Â My voice sounds dry and harsh.
ÂWhy donÂt you tell me what happened?Â
I glance in his direction with skepticism. ÂYou already know,Â I croak.
ÂI know what is in the police report,Â he replies with a nod. ÂBut I donÂt know the circumstances that led up to the encounter.Â More papers shuffling. ÂYou have a clean record, not so much as a speeding ticket. Yet yesterday evening you went to just the right house, at just the right time, and stopped a brutal homicide from occurring.Â

Sighing I close my eyes. This is one of those truths that I really do not want to remember. This one is particularly violent. Frustrated I finally scratched my arm. My own contact produces nothing.

I'm not asking you all to panic, but my little sister's school was just closed (as of today) because of a case of this ridiculous swine flue.

What I am asking is that you all pray. Pray for our young ones as they seem to be at a greater risk. Pray that this blows over smoothly. Pray for those who have suffered loss. Just pray people.

That My Life is Ironic.

(avoid reading if anything relating to "family planning" makes you squirm)

So as of recently the hubby and I decided to go off the birth control. The last three or so weeks has been one heck of an emotional rollercoaster- I'm up, I'm down; I'm oilly, I'm dry; I'm perky, I'm tired. That and I nearly passed out... twice. I think the preacher at my local church thought that I was getting the spirit or something- "There she goes! See how red her cheeks are and how her eyes roll! Feel it sister. Can I get an A-MEN!"

Sheesh.

Stupid Eve with her stupid eating of the forbidden stupid fruit and getting the female gender cursed. Thanks. I owe ya.

So... any how I stop by the neighborhood drug store (not crack house; drug store. read: Walgreens, CVS) to purchase a pregnancy test. Never hurts to have one of those convienent pee-on-the-stick devices handy. I'm standing there admist condomes (flavored! ribbed! colored! glow in the dark (how cool) extra-whatever!), lubes, tests, and ovulation devices, thinking to myself how in the world did I get this old? I can still recall seeing that lame Cone Heads movie and not getting the chewing gum joke. I am not old enough to be looking at these things that encourage adult-type touching!

As I'm standing there all of the sudden this woman- out of breath, hair a mess- comes jiggling down the isle. She looks as if she were in a hurry. I side step to allow her room to look. Without much thought she grabs a box of condomes. Some one has a desperate need! I reach out for a First Response- two tests, three tests. Then she's switching grabbing a different box. Out of the corner of my eye I see her smile, this quirky oh-my-which-one-do-I-really-want sort of smile! At this point I am trying not to laugh. I find myself wanting to turn to her to offer my coupon for the pregnancy test... "you know just in case your enthusiasm renders one of those useless."

But I resist.

I find my self in line at the counter- some old woman buying soda pop, woman with the condomes, and me with my prego-test. She's in such a hurry that she's literally crowding the counter next to the poor ol'thing who is trying to satisfy her sweet tooth.

I walk out to my car, shut the door, and burst out laughing. Oh the irony that is life!

Greetings and salutations all my lovely deviants!

Around the same time as "The Trouble with Familiar" was being put to paper, people with great heads for thinking got together, surrounded me, and began giving me advice. Lot's of things were said, arguments were had about the importance of underwear, and I think I few stress balls were injured- why all this hullabaloo (there's a good word) you may ask? Well, people wanted to see my art work! BUT a serious decision had to be made over its presentation.

My fellow fanfic characters wanted some attention.

My original thoughts wanted some attention.

Every thought in my head was screaming for my attention!

After several cups of coffee, lots of Law and Order: SVU episodes (ghads, I'm on year 4 now), and divination the decision was made.

Name My Goblin Contest

The above goblin showed up on my door step recently. The poor thing is nameless! In my world this simply cannot be and I will not allow it to continue.

Normally, I live up to my title Official Namer of Goblins but my hands are quite full at the moment and besides if I name him, he'll attach him self to me and proceed to eat my potatos, defile my socks, and use my best couch cushions as tissues. I all ready have enough goblins on my hands.

So I need someone to place him with.

The way that can happen though is by doing the following:

1. Give him a name.

2. Tell me his back story. Send it in as a note.

I'll let him choose which one suites his fancy, slap my intials on his backside as a sign of approval, and ship'em off accordingly

When the connection happens

....it fills me with wonder.

As a writer I began to state very early on that if I could connect with at least one individual, if one person could relate, then I am successful. I have modeled characters after such philosophy. And while the support has been truly amazing, the commentary riotous and encouraging, that moment when one individual takes the time to contact you personally and explain the impact of what you have written on their lives.... There is nothing like that.

I do not mean to brag. Hardly.

When I was 16 I knew that I wanted to write. It took me ten plus years though to make it a reality. I was (still am to a degree) timid about my personal thoughts. So when someone says, "Oh hey, I get that and here's why..." or "That really opened my eyes and made me happy" I am left a little awkward and blushing. Yes, blushing.

I remember one of the first individuals who contacted me in such a way. I shall leave her anonymous- I'd hate to embarrass her. She had said some of the nicest things, describing how impactful one of my stories had been for her, calling me a "wonderful story weaver" and praising my unconventional approach to the fae. It left me smiling shyly, tears brimming in my eyes because it was a success.

Last night, after running around the whole weekend one day going to the movies, then next playing Arkham of Horror, the next moment running around with my niece in a Disney store, I finally got around to checking emails. The message moved me to that point of etars again, but not because I do not know how to take praise, but because of the individual's circumstances. Having been sick for some time "they" wrote to tell me the following,

"...health problems that got me very down. However, your [omitted] story updates have been one of the few things that helped keep me going through my many hardships. Rest assured I have been following every one of your story updates, for your [omitted] stories have been one of my few respites from my daily drudgery. I've been so exhausted and down so I did not feel up to writing any public reviews in recent times. But today I felt particularly moved to tell you in private, how much your stories have meant to me. They gave me a more beautiful world to dream about..."

I know that the individual follows me here as well, so to you my dear one, my reader who gives me a job, I in turn must thank you. Without you, the one who keeps coming back, the one who has to turn the next page, without you I would not exist. It is beyond flattering to know such things, but even greater perhaps cosmic even to know that I have brought you such joy in your time of need. I moved to a place of such humbleness right now.

At the moment, as will agree, I am feeling very old. Yes, I know old is such a relative term. Yes, I am aware that I am still below the thirty years of age mark. Yes, I am fully aware that usually old is a dirty word in my vocabulary. BUT there's good reason.

Saw "Coraline" last night and by Paul Bunyan's Axe!- what a movie!

This is how a book adaptation should be done. This is a textbook example for all future directors/writers who want to bring a story to life. Understand the tone of the story, and set the environment appropriately.

It was a visual feast- beautiful, scary, and enticing all at once. The director gave the audience a colorful stimulus that helped you feel the characters' emotions and set the tone for reactions, for empathy, for sympathy.

Read the book. See the movie. Or see the movie, then read the book. Take your pick. Both will leave you very satisfied.

Viva Las Vegas

Yeah new CSS lay out by the grace of talents. Fairies and coffee- what's not to enjoy?

So I just got back from a whirl wind trip to Las Vegas, Nevada. My sisterinlaw and long time model/friend got married I was there to document the event- everything from the backelorette party to the big day. I've known Varinia for yonks and she's done some fine posing for me

And now she's a married woman!

Well Vegas as a whole was fun- still sorting through a million and a half shots. Hopefully some worth sharing. I even got to go along the down town strip which has a host of original light displays. Very cool.

Cards and the Zoo

These are currently availble for purchase as greeting cards through DA, thus far at least

I just spent 6 hours this past weekend at my local zoo, shooting photos. After all of the walking, the sun exposure, and camera lifting I was absolutely beat (I have a bit of muscle condition). But was it worth it! Got some really great shots.

It also made me realize though that I need a longer lense. My current one only shoots up to 135. To make animal shots work I definitely need to up grade to a 200 and over. Recommendations for purchasing a nikon lense woul be much appreciated.

Are now available as cards and post cards. This will be an ongoing development as more fish swim into view.... and the more times I watch Bed Knobs and Broom Sticks or Finding Nemo.... bobbing along singing a song...

I wanted to have a V-Day Fish done in time for the holiday, but the birthday card took over as it's my younger bro's b-day the 13th.

Unlike Mr. Snooty, Ninja Fish was created with pen and ink and then completely colored digitaly using Corel Paint Shop. Both pieces took over two hours a piece to complete.

I do hope everyone has a lovely V-Day coming up. Make sure you tell the people who are important to you how much they mean to you; love is beyond romance.

So the other day after reading various news articles on the current state of all societies, hearing numerous complaints about how horrid high schoolers have become, and basically being bombarded with all around negativity, I decided to investigate why we are the way we are. Whose to blame for the mess? Our parents? The government?

No.

I blame He-Man, The Smurfs, and in general every 80s cartoon. That's right. You didn't misread me here. 80s cartoons are the source of what is wrong with my own and surrounding generations. Let's look at the facts, shall we? Let's begin with He-Man and his fellow "Masters" of the Universe, since he is so obviously the main culprit in this ordeal. Our parents intrusted our fragile, developing little minds to a man in a loin clothe, waving around a big sword (balant symbolism), and who rides a giant cat. Not only are his choice of garments questionable at best, he solves all his problems by fighting. Now about his cat, Cringer/Battle Cat: he shoulders a good deal of the blame. Cringer is a weak, worrisome, namby-pampy cat who hangs out with a pink wearing prince. Battle Cat only becomes fierce when He-Man appears and jumps onto his back- need I explain the symbolism? It's disguesting on a good day. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, I should sue you for emotional distress.

Now how about The Smurfs? Adorable little blue people who sing happy songs, right? Wrong. Do you realize that there is a Smurf for every one of the 7 Deadly Sins?

Lust = Smurfette
Gluttony = Baker Smurf
Greed = Papa Smurf
Sloth = Lazy Smurf
Wrath = Grouchy Smurf
Envy = Greedy Smurf
Pride = Vanity Smurf

You think this is all coincidential? I don't think so. Naturally the characters who possess these horrid traits are then forced into the martyr mold; they are oppressed (and I use the term loosely) as a whole quite frequently by the "evil" Gargamel- a going bald, older man who needs to eat the Smurfs for nourishment. Perhaps he is the misunderstood one. Oh yes and the Smurfs live in a mushroom village, and Papa Smurf smokes a pipe. Methinks he's probably smoking his own house.

Now how about Gummy Bears: want to know why prescription drug abuse is at an all time high? Or why we think we must medicate our children? Cue the Gummy Bears. In order to achieve, to perform, to live they must partake of the liquid enhancer known as Gummiberry Juice. Enough said.

Don't even get me going on Scooby Doo. You know, just know, that Fred and Daphney were participating in unprotected sexual-ventures. Why else would they always pair up? Juvenile diabetes? Blame Strawberry Shortcake.

See, all of our current problems can be traced back to the "innoccent" cartoons our parents let us, and even at times encouraged us, to watch. And if you took any of this seriously, you probably watched too many episodes of Dark Wing Duck and Transformers. Lay off the pizza, dude. It's all a matter of mind over butter.

Do you know of a song that every time you hear it you just get very emotional and usually break out in goosebumps? For me it's "Under Pressure", whether it's Bowie and Freddie Mercury or Bowie Annie Lennox- matters not. The raw pleaing in the song just sends shivers down my spine.

Greeting my darlings!

Right so 2009 must be my year for holding my breath and plunging into deep, new waters. Over on MyArtSpace.com there is a contest going on to have your work shown at London's Scream gallery and I entered. I am near having a panic attack over it, but I decided it was time to stop being afraid to share my photos and just do it. Ugh. The following were submitted for consideration:

Now onto some book updates: things are running along very smoothly. The summer date is still a go for sales. I need to raise $100 to gain an official ISBN number. That's right $100 big ones. BUT I am confident I'll figure it all out. Right now I am doing a small comission setup, to help raise the monies. As soon as the introduction is complete, along with a few other details, the book "The Trouble With Familiar" will become available.

I have yet to start work on the companion art book. I am still sorting through what kind of art I'd like to have go into such an endeavor.
