We got a new puppy in January: an Australian Shepard Mix and we named him Quigley (Alan Rickman fans know were this name came from, no doubt!). He's a furry ball of sunshine and he's my baby. I'll try to take a piccy from him for all of you to see very soon!

First, our husky Loki passed away after a battle with failing kidneys. He was about ten years old (that's old for a doggie) and everyone in my family is taking it pretty hard. I don't want another dog ever again...I mean, it was a couple of weeks or so ago that we lost Willow to feline cancer and now this... God, I'm tired of our pets dying!

Second, my madre had a heart attack and had to spend three days in the hospital. She's home now recovering but she has to quit smoking, cut back on her soda drinking to one soda a day, and have a low-sodium diet. I feel so anxious and bad that my stomach is in knots and I can't sleep.

P.S. I've deleted MY PEEPS list simply because I can't keep track of everyone! I also will try to have some art and literature up when I feel up to it again.

On September 15th of 2008 Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright (aka "Rick") passed away in his home in London after losing his short battle with cancer. Even as I write this, the void in my soul where he and Syd Barrett once resided keeps growing bigger. There are now three surviving members of the Floyd... And now Rick has gone to that Great Gig in the Sky.

Rick, may your spirit live on forever in the incredibly beautiful music you had helped create. I will never forget you. We, the Floyd fans who inhabit the Dark Side of the Moon, love and miss you sorely.

Last Wednesday I had a headache so severe that I couldn't a) get my bum out of bed and b) stop crying from the agony. My doctor told my parents to take me to the and the attached tube had broken (I have a shunt and a tube in my head as I had a truamatic brain injury when I was a baby). Emergency surgery was done and I spent Thursday and Friday in recovery & I was able to go home Saturday. I'm doing fine...no headaches anymore...yet MY HEAD SHAVED! I think I look good: like Evey from "V for Vendetta".

Anyway,just thought you all should know what's been going on. I won't be attending college this semester for the sake of my health, so please be patient with me! Much love to you all for caring!

I look damned good, yo! So to all my bi peeps and GLBT supporters, that's what I bought at PRIDE. ($$$$$$)

As for the parade itself it was HOTHOTHOT and bottles of cold water where being passed out to everyone who were participating and the heat of the moment combined with the energy of the support of the GLBT-loving people forced my headache into submission and I was one energized little bisexual Wiccan! I waved, peace-signed, raised my fist, and hollered and screamed as if I were at a flippin' Pink Floyd concert! Naturally there were homophobic bastards yelling stuff like "God hates homos" and "You're going to Hell" and garbage like that. I just screamed "WAAAAAAAHHHHHOOO!" in their faces and raised my rainbow bracelet-adorned to the sky. Take THAT, ya homophobes! To those who cheered for us I called out, "Never be ashamed of who you are! Be proud!" , , , you three were there with me in mind and spirit and I want you thre to keep what I have just said and should anyone tell you otherwise tell them that they don't want ME to come down there and kick some sense into them, OK? Curvee, pass that to your beloved as well. Love you guys!

Right now I'm currently on a borrowed computer at my dad's work and I'm afraid I can't stay on it long for it will trigger the headaches and send me screaming for the pain meddies so I'd best make it as fast as I can!

May 16th (that was last Friday) was the 65th anniversary of the Operation Chastise Dams Raids (more famously known as the Dambusters Raids). If you live in the UK...lucky you, for you probably got to see the last flyable Lancaster fly tribute as well as probably seeing the last surviving Dambuster at the rememberance event as well (the New Zealander Les Munro...he's 89 now!) Wing Commander Guy Gibson's nephew, Michael Gibson, was also there (this dropped my jaw...NEPHEW?! HE HAD A NEPHEW?!) and it was just truly an awesome day to behold. Damn...wish I were there! *sigh* Anyway, HAPPY BELATED ANNIVERSARY, EVERYONE! LEAST WE FORGET THESE BRAVE MEN WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES AT THE MOHNE, SORPE, AND EDER DAMS ON MAY 16TH, 1943!

To commerate this occasion I want everyone to go back and take a peek through my gallery and find the CSI Miami fanfic "CSI Scampton" - this is where H goes on vacation to England and tours RAF Scampton (and awakens the ghosts of the Dambusters while he's at it...) Awesome fanfic, I'm hideously proud of it, and I want everyone to just share my joy. (I'll update it once I'm back at college... )

P.S. My celebration last Friday was AWESOME despite having an awful headache...I read W/C Gibson's "Enemy Coast Ahead" and watched "The Dam Busters" with my parents. Truly awesome day.

Anyway, I went to the doctor yesterday and it appears that I have vertibrae-related headaches...meaning that I totally ed up my neck...which is my fault totally...I apologize for that. I was given perscribed pain meddies which I must take ever six hours to avoid more pain and they will be doing an ultrasound on me at some point to check for benevolent tumors on my ovaries (for I've not had a period in five months & I'm not active --- you know what I mean!) Fear not, I'm OK. Thanks to all of you for sticking this shit out with me for this long and I will see everyone again on August 25th!

When I was 13 - 18, I was begininng this series of short sci-fi stories under the title "Electric Warrior", and it was about this man in possession of a magickal guitar who was the protector of the galaxy. But for some stupid reason I put it away and vowed to never pick it up again, for I thought that no one would want to read that...but now I want to dig it out and start it up again - this time do a series of novels this time!

What do you all think? Should I or shouldn't I? I'd love to post the books on DA but I shan't until YOU ALL, MY DEVOTED READERS tell me to!

Anyway, I've been listening to the Alan Parsons Project's beautiful 1976 album "Tales of Mystery & Imagination" that was inspired by the works of Edgar A. Poe and I think that's how "Dark Realm" started really.I recommend that album to everyone (and if you aren't an avid Poe reader now you will be after you listen to that album! ) To those who have not read the intro and chapter one of my new project then see thy gallery and do so! I'm not feeling so good today so chapter two will have to wait til Monday!

Our husky's ever-present barking didn't help much either. Today I feel like someone's trying to lobotomize me and after I upload a couple of written peices here to DA I'm going to go downstairs and nap til it's time for math class. I feel so tired and weary.

Ian emailed me from Iraq and he said that life just pretty much sucks over there and that "we're not getting shelled enough". (Does this mean that he wants to be shelled????) Another thing to worry over...every time we get a report of soldier death over there in Iraq I keep hoping and praying that it's not Ian. More angst, yay!

Then, lost one of her parakeets! Poor birdie... if only I knew which one of them went to the Great Birdcage in the Sky, but I'm afraid to ask.

OK, I feel like I'm about to throw up so I'm going to stop here, finish up the written stuff and then go forth to nap my ass off!

OK, so I missed a third day of math class but my instructor knew that I wasn't feeling 100% the other day so I'm sure he understands...anyway, all I did yesterday was sleep -- I woke up at 4:30 and went to bed at 10:00, but my little brother kept me up all night with his bloody TV! Talk about not feeling good today!

Ash's eye seems to be getting better but he's still breathing wrong and his energy is still down. Conor says that he's been doing the eye-washing treament and such but I'm starting to not believe him. The snuggle-therapy that I've been doing (having him lie on my stomach with a warm cloth over him) seems to be helping him but Conor wants to stop doing that apparently...he says that Ash doesn't want to leave his cage (which is BS because Ash always comes when I call) and he doesn't want to dirty his sheets. It seems like my little brother doesn't give a damn anymore. Well, I do! And I'LL get Ash better, with or without Conor's help!

Plus, should or shouldn't I? I've given this a lot of thought and I really want to do this, and everyone's opinion does matter! Everyone remembers my picture of Ariane, right? (If not, see gallery.) Anywho, I would really like to post "Rose Garden" up here on DA, but there's going to be some big changes to it. I'm expanding it into a novel and the plot is this: a young college student journeys to town during Spring Break and discovers an underground GLBT club called The Rose Garden and falls in love with the star (aka Ariane). I'd like to publish this very much and before everyone jumps up and down and freaks out there will not be explicit sex! (There will be some, but I know how to make it non-explicit fear not! First my family and I are still moving next week! I know I'm thrilled to pieces about it but for reason I just don't have the energy to continue packing up. Maybe I don't want to feel like we're moving to another place to rent because we'll be out of it in seven years. (The twist: we're not renting ever again...this house is ours by right and so is the 5 acres of land it sits on! ) I also can't shake the feeling that I'm moving away from all my friends here in Farmington and it hurts. Gods, I hate moving!

And just yesterday, my little brother's pet rat, Ash, fell really sick. He's having trouble moving around and isn't breathing well, plus his right eye was swollen almost shut. Conor and I both had to literally air-lift him out of his cage to clean his eye and I gave him some apple slices to keep up his vitamin C but this is really scaring the out of me. We don't want to lose Ash, he's such an awesome rat and so sweet in nature. Last night I had him on my stomach and he just tried so hard to sleep but he just couldn't. One of our advisors, Judy, had some kind of flu so she couldn't attend and thus give us another movie choice so the movies for that evening were "Hairspray" and "High School Musical" (both of which annoy me...I apologize to anyone who likes those!) Another tidbit of interest is that we're no longer H.A.L.O. (due to the fact that people kept confusing us with a gaming group! >< ) but now we are Liberty Central! I think it works! Anway, there were plenty of munchies to go around...I think I gained about 15 pounds with all the sugar I consumed...and I brought the drink, though the vending machines were operating for those who hated the taste of mango lemonade! However, we will be calling an emergency meeting tomorrow so we can finish our club constitution! (This Service Learning project that I'm doing is causing me to put it off and I can't do it anymore! I might be dropping my Socialogy class because my math grade is suffering as well!)

OK, as for my ghost story about the most awesome place no longer with us: DANVERS STATE HOSPITAL! I have decided that as soon as it's all posted on DA then I shall publish it privately for any of my peeps who are interested! First, the headaches have come back. They started on Sunday and went through today (I slept all day Monday and missed yesterday 'cause I just couldn't get out of bed). I'm so medicated right now that I feel both mellow and sleepy...hopefully some vitamin C will revive me!

Second, I have my second club event Saturday at 7:00 pm...movie night with munchies! My club is planning on showing GLBT related flicks and having a potluck so I'm sure it's going to be a blast! (We'll also be showing "Brokeback Mountain" in honor of Heath Ledger...whose passing is still a shock to me.) Will tell you all about it after it's happened!

Third, I'll hopefully have Chapter 1 of my sci-fi book posted here tomorrow. Last night while watching "Dr. Strangelove" my pen exploded whilst I was working on it so that was one page wasted because ink was all over it...I had to start again. But if all goes well and I don't have another mishap then Chapter 1 will be here tomorrow! ( suggested this title for the book: "Sinister Glow"...I think it works!)

Last thing: I plan on posting 's late xmas goodie soon...a ghost story which I hope she likes!

Oooh, before I go, I've got a new book idea!!! A couple of nights ago I had a really odd dream and I've decided that I'm going to turn it into a book. I've outlined it and am currently researching the background and all that jazz. The setting is London, England in the year 2084 and the British government is going to carry out a full nuclear attack on its own people, however the plans for it fall into the hands of an ex-government agent who suddenly finds himself becoming the hero of humanity. But, as it happened in my dream, the book's not going to have a happy ending.

As soon as my mom gets me a big hulking journal I shall begin writing and then I will start posting chapters here on DA! I hope you all are excited for this! Stay tuned!

YESTERDAY I BOUGHT ROGER WATERS' VERY FIRST SOLO ALBUM "THE PROS AND CONS OF HITCHHIKING"! AND IT'S SOOOO AWESOME! WHY THE HELL ARE PEOPLE BAD-MOUTHING IT?!

I saw it at Hastings one day while chilling out with my DA Sista and fellow peep and just nearly DIED! "Pros" was the very first solo album by Roger when he left Pink Floyd and in reading about it in all of my Pink Floyd books I grew very curious and had since wanted to listen to it. WELL I BOUGHT IT AND DID LISTEN TO IT AND IT TOTALLY ROCKED MY WORLD!

The first time you listen to it you get really confused but the more you listen to it the more the plot becomes easy to understand. You soon realize that what's happening in the piece is all a dream and it follows dream logic. (For anyone interested in dreams, do I have your dreaming sense tingling? ) However, THIS ALBUM IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO ARE SENSITIVE ON THE SUBJECT OF SEX! The album gets a little "adult oriented" (not X-rated though) so it's definately not for the kids...such a thing would sully innocent ears! The cover might be offensive as well (it's just a blond woman clad in a rucksack and high heels with her back to the viewer and her thumb sticking out) but I didn't really care about the cover. To me, IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC, BABEH! And the music was worth the money I spent. I think Roger did a good job on his first try (though if I could go back in time I would probably warn him about the cover!) and if there are any HARD-CORE Floyd fans out there, please go out and listen to this album...as it seems that only die-hard Floydians appreciate it!

On the serious side, my peep is going to another account here on DA because people are giving her BS. I hope she's reading this because I don't want her to leave my band of peeps, that she's like a sister to me and that if anyone is giving her crap then give me their names and I'll do something about it! If it's something I did I'm SO SO SO SO sorry and I'll be good!

We might be moving into our new abode by the end of the month. More news on that as it comes!

I finally got to read some of the "Full Metal Alchemist" graphic novels and I find them AMAZING! I love Roy Mustang and Ed! (Roy's infinity with the canine species is impressive...) Now I just need to get my mitts on THE SERIES!

I have also begun to note Severus Snape's birthday in my day planner... For Christmas my friends Cotton and Janie gave me a TOTALLY SPECTACULAR Snape figurine (pics will follow).

Yep. that's right...the last day of college is TODAY for me and I just have my Geology and Math final today (maaath...eeep ). I'll try not to stress out, I'll just be thinking of when I can go home and relax.

I went with and everyone in my club warmed up to her immediately, not caring that she was shy...Judy even asked me if she would like to go to the Christmas party at her house on the 11th! also bought me the book I'm currently reading (see below) and to her I say DOMO ARTIGATO (damn that Styx song...been listening to it like crazy ever since I saw the video!) because I've wanted that book for, like, EVER! , Becky! (And no, Dad hasn't seen it yet...give him time!)

We're starting to really pack up now for our move. Yesterday my famille and I had a picnic at our land and the house stuff is coming together. Dad's already planning next Christmas and I'm just anxious to stop being so anxious (I think I'm well on my way to getting an anxiety disorder).

First, to and , I'm SOSOSO OVERJOYED that everything between the two of you is resolved and OK. Last night I had nightmares that I had logged on to DA and discovered that you two weren't speaking to each other and hating each other too, then you both forced me to choose between you. I cried my eyes out and felt really depressed. But now that it's all right I hope you pardon my 24 hour freak out session!

Second, my first H.A.L.O. event is tonight at 7:00 pm at Andrea Kristina's and I'm so excited that I could just burst! I just hope I'm feeling well for it...woke up with a migraine! But I've got my meddies so it's all good, and is going with me too! YAY!

FINAL EXAMS ARE NEXT WEEK POUR MOI!!!! Next Monday I have my Psychology final and Wednesday I have my Geology final and my Math final BACK TO BACK (aka take Geology final first then run over to Math class right after to take the other)! THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT THIS IS IT FOR ME AND THEN I DON'T COME BACK TO COLLEGE TILL JANUARY 14TH! What shall I do when I'm done Wednesday?

Just to let everyone know, college classes aren't happening next Tuesday (prep for finals) so I won't be on DA then.

Well, the road leading up to where our house will be was plowed out and will be smoothed out at some point. We drove up to our property yesterday and stood in the spot where our house will be and looked out over the glorious view (the ride up to the property and down was crazy though...almost threw up 'cause my fear of heights hasn't really improved! ) It's looking good though! (By the way, on the way to our land I saw a horse WHO LOOKED ALMOST STORM MY KELPIE! He was white and had a black mane and tail and everything!) Freaky!

I am trying so hard to get the video for ~TheAlanRickmanShrine all set up and everything but the computer is not letting me download (why the hell would I steal someone's art?! I always give credit in my videos!) I've been able to get a hold of a couple from the Shrine, but that's it so far.
