Here we are, 9 months later. This year went pretty good, i'm satisfied with most of my works, my progress and so on. Next year I'll still be in Lugano, studying at the SUPSI, Visual Communication and at the moment i'm having my summer holiday, which i'd like to spend doing something, a part-time job is what i'm looking for, but not in a call-center, no way i'm trying that again :D

We've all seen photographies, but her last deviation is something i won't forget, it gave me more than her usual pics, that are already amazing, but this one is more and i can only suggest to my few readers to check it out and fav it... a million times.





P.S.: in the new school everything is going well, i will probably post a few of my "orange shots" in the next days. I'm really having fun and i thought about not trying to get in ECAL next year, since it'll be my last chance, but i'll still think about it :)

I know, I didn't submit anything, it's not because i haven't got time, I have lot of time, but it's a kind of artistic-depression.
I took only a few pictures in Prague, cause we stayed 13 hours at the airport in Italy and we reached Prague and the so called hotel at 2 am Monday instead of 11 am Sunday.. Monday the weather was beautiful, but my camera battery low, the next days it rained/snowed and everything that you can imagine. But we had fun, or better.. I had fun. I loved Prague, really.

Then I came back home, and the ECAL's letter was waiting for me, it was exactly in that moment that all my artistic projects fell down on the floor: they didn't accept me.
I'll stay here in Lugano for the first year, then i'll try one more time there and god knows where else, a little dream would be Rovaniemi, Finland but i shall learn finnish first :P You know, sometimes i really want to stay here, at home, with everything that I can leave by going away, but sometimes i'd like to start everything from the beginning, from zero.

~Saki-BlackWing designed my tattoo and i really liked it, she managed to make it more meaningful than how it already was. I'll do it before the summer on the left wrist.

I'll submit something, I promise, but I really don't know what for the moment.

I'll share the room with ~Vysenia (who captured the Princess Series) but i won't take with me the skirt and so on, so don't expect portraits :) Even if i'll share the apartment (two rooms make and apartment, and one bathroom is for 5 girls XD) with a classmate who's really cute and looks like a doll: i'll try to convince her :P

This afternoon i'll probably go to take some pics for some friends of my brother, they seem to be very cute and i think that finally i found someone willing to pose nude for me :dance:

Since last Sunday I can't sleep well at night, well, actually, I can't fall asleep for more than 2-3 hours/night. I think it's because of this that I caught the flu, but today I think it'll be better :) back to school in 2 hours.

My computer, well, MyKyra's computer, hates me, it crashes very often, especially while I'm playing World of Warcraft. Tomorrow format, there's no other way.

Since the last changes - me and MyKyra split up - I finally decided to try to move away from here and study somewhere else. My first choise will be Lausanne, the écal seems, according to my teachers, to be a good school, but it seems to be hard too.

If they won't considerate my works enough, I already thought to send the same things at the HEAA in Geneve, but yes, I wouldn't be so satisfied. The last option, and it won't be final, is to make the first year here in Lugano, and then try another time there :)

22.10.2005 - THE RECORDING OF "END OF AN ERA" -LIVE RELEASE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS
Nightwish recorded "End Of An Era" -live release yesterday evening in Hartwall-Arena, Helsinki. As you can imagine, the atmosphere in the Arena was wild but also quite blue. This was the ending for a one and a half year lasting "Once" -World Tour. Nightwish wishes to thank everybody for an unbelievable tour.

Unfortunately the title "End Of An Era" also holds a deeper meaning. The open letter, which was given to Tarja after the show, tells it all. You can read it here:

Dear Tarja,

It`s time to choose whether the story of Nightwish ends here or whether it will still continue an undetermined period of time. We`ve been working with this creation for 9 years and we are not ready to give up yet. Nightwish is a way of life, something to live for, and we`re certain we can`t let it go.

Equally certain is the fact that we cannot go on with you and Marcelo any longer. During the last year something sad happened, which I`ve been going over in my head every single day, morning and night. Your attitude and behavior don`t go with Nightwish anymore. There are characteristics I would never have believed to see in my old dear friend.
People who don`t talk with each other for a year do not belong in the same band.

We are involved in an industry where the business-side of things is a necessary evil and something to worry about all the time. We are also a band which has always done music from the heart, because of friendship and the music itself. The mental satisfaction should always be more important than money! Nightwish is a band, it`s an emotion.
To you, unfortunately, business, money, and things that have nothing to do with those emotions have become much more important. You feel that you have sacrificed yourself and your musical career for Nightwish, rather than thinking what it has given to you.
This attitude was clearly shown to me in the two things you said to me in an airplane in Toronto: ”I don`t need Nightwish anymore.” and ”Remember, Tuomas, that I could leave this band at any time, giving you only one day`s warning in advance”.
I can`t simply write any more songs for you to sing.

You have said yourself that you are merely a ”guest musician” in Nightwish. Now that visit ends and we will continue Nightwish with a new female vocalist.
We`re sure this is an equally big relief to you as it is for us. We have all been feeling bad long enough.

You told us that no matter what, the next Nightwish album will be your last one. However, the rest of us want to continue as long as the fire burns. So there`s no sense in doing that next album with you, either.
The four of us have been going over this situation countless times and we have realized that this is the thing we want to do in life. It´s all we can do. In December 2004, in Germany, you said that you will never tour again for more than two weeks at a time. You also said that we can forget about U.S. and Australia because the fees and the sizes of venues are too small.

In interviews I`ve mentioned that if Tarja leaves, that would be the end of the band. I understand that people will think this way. Nightwish is, however, a scenery of my soul and I`m not ready to let go because of one person. A person who wants to focus her creativity to somewhere else, a person whose values don`t match mine.

We were never bothered by the fact that you didn`t participate in writing/arranging songs, you never in 9 years came to rehearse the songs with us before going to the studio. Not the fact that while on tour you always wanted to fly, separately from us with your husband. Not the fact that you are an undisputable front image of the band.
We accepted and felt ok about everything except greed, underestimating the fans, and breaking promises. It was agreed by the five of us that Nightwish would be the priority in everything that we do during 2004-2005. Still so many things were more important to you. The ultimate example being the already sold-out show in Oslo, which you wanted to cancel because you needed to rehearse for your solo concerts, meet frieds and go to the movies. Those were the words Marcelo used in an e-mail explaining the cancellation. This being just one example of so many. I couldn`t think of a worse way of being selfish and dismissing our fans.

Our ipods arrived yesterday morning, we waited more than what they said, but..bah

Unfortunately I had to go back home, because of some legal questions: I have to say that, since 13 o'clock, I couldn't feel more alone that now... I have to eat alone, to cook just for myself, because they "won't eat now", and with mykyra it was really really different, almost always together.

Boring day, today, I met lot of stupid people, but after all I'm ..well..normal. My subscription-gift is going to expire in two days, someone is interested to extend it? :P

My school work about the fear of the darkness is going -imho- definitely well.. in fact I've made 8 pics on 10 I have to.. Unfortunately I've to write lots of things about the symbolism of the black and the white -that, in some cases, can be interesting-, about the colour theory -about what I don't know anything- and so on...

I'm thinking to buy a new camera, but I waste lot of money, well no.. I haven't got money at all :P Probably, if I will be sure to buy it, I will ask to my parents, but don't know if it's worth to spend money, when I don't need to... well, I do, but will my work be improved?

After the sad news, a really good news: the poster I've done for the theatral group of my school has been chosen :D Yeah, they liked other 2 works -one of my best friend, dAdA, the one who shoot the Princess series- and they will "publish" them too, but it's okay, I'm happy they liked my work. I'm also working, and thinking a lot ( O_o ), on a school leaving work, it's based on my fear of the dark, and I have to take pics of something expressive, something that expresses my fear of the dark :( I need also some artist as reference, so if you know some photographers, or some painters that used a lot of black high contrasted with the white (in little parts) let me know..


Hope you can understand what I wrote, tell me if there's something incomprehensible, I'll try to explain it better :D
