This has been one of the exuberjoyfullest weekends of my life, for 2 major points.
First, I am currently in Burlington vermont for Bakuretsu con. Met up with my New Hampshire buddies and internet stalkees, played improv games, belted showtunes in the Cat's Eye Cafe, taken several trips to the "rape corner", molesting fail Roxas, and I'm going to participate in the anime dating game this afternoon as Xion. This has truly been a fun time for me, and I hate to see it end today. If you wanna see our con pictures, my buddy has been and is uploading them.

Second, I think I pretty much beat fate in 's Lost Hours. I actually won a round fighting against another competitor. I was rather certain my incredible opponent was gonna beat me, and in all honestly I really wanted to see Asari and Allen team up. But I survived to the next round, and I can't wait to weave more stories. Hopefujlly I can make it up to the quartet I beat up ><

First, real news!

Number 1! I got into 's Lost Hours with Asari! *confetti*
This tournament's a bit unlike other OCTs, and I'm likely gonna abuse the system to keep Asari in past round 1... ><
But my opponent is ~Narlax, and his characters Allen, Tally, and Pan. Well, Pan is just sorta borrowed, but whatever. I've got a plot down and I'm writing right now, can't wait to see what he'll submit, and how this entire experience will turn out!
Also, Asari's buddies Mire and Krea are involved. So the trio is bound to meet up at least once again! = DDDD

Number 2! Once again, congrats to my good buddy ~CrawlerKat for winning !
And a note for everyone else, last night and tonight, I was/am going to plot-plan with ~CrawlerKat and ~Mishka-chan about the fates of all of our characters, which will be made into SEs. Asari is definitely the most motherly out of all my characters, and for the guys, Tech guy would probably make the best father.

I approved killing Asari. I'm a terrible person, I know.
On a brighter side, my friend ~CrawlerKat is moving onto the finals, best of luck to you! ^^
~MagikSalem did her best, but didn't quite surpass Sideshow... But she did awesome, probabaly the closest match in Nostalgia to date. I loved how she portrayed Asari perfectly, to all of her spazzy otaku glory.

I lost the first round. Again. I thought I did pretty well, too. But then again, I was up against ~PeteGrammarman and his epic character and flash videos. What I find Ironic is that shortly after he was announced the winner, Michael Jackson died (RIP, Prince of Pop).
I'm still going to participate in any way I can with the tournament even though I lost. I'm actually one of Pete's voice actresses for round 2, as *Imp-Da-Cat's and *V-nya's Puzzle. Despite my Hot-Topic-shopping, tendency to listen to metal, and extreme distaste for celebrities, I guess I'm voicing a Gangsta Cx

I'm actually hosting a tournament now, along with my brother. Basic plot: clash of the religions. This is going to be interesting... xD
My Judge's name is Ixtab, she's the Ancient Mayan Goddess of Suicide. Do not ask how I found out about her, or even that the Mayans had a goddess of suicide. The only clue I can give for that is "X".

There's some good news and bad news in the world of . The good news is Rosu's in, she's definitely a character in all the madness. The bad news is the madness itself, as she's going to have to face off against 's character, Mr. Happy Smiles. Followers of CaP, read Rosu's entry piece, then watch Mr.HS's video. The evil Paradise gods whipped up the perfect storm, that's all I can say.
But despite it all: awesome Karl-equivalent CaP opponent and the videos I'm against, I'm giving it my all here ^^

I actually have one scene sketched in pencil so far, and I've got a lot of plans for this entry. if anyone wants to see the sketch, just ask. and I'm sorry Pete, I can't show you until the comic's done, I don't wanna spoil the suprise for ya!

Now for . Mire, along with her teammates Krea and Asari, made it to round 3! Well, duh. We knew that for a good 2-ish weeks now. Since I was already given a little heads-up about 's plans for Asari (don't worry! It's actually perfect, you don't need to apologize! DX), I began thinking up and even drawing a little of another SE. This'll get into Asari's head a little more with her emotions of the past, and definitely more comparisons between Mire and Rosu. If all goes as planned, there'll also be a guest appearance from one of my favorite characters entered in the tournament, too, one who hasn't yet met Asari. Watch out! ^ 3^

What am I talking about? Well, He-or-She-who-is-too-lazy-to-open-the-link-I-provided, it's Project:Happy! Basically you draw someone's fancharacter or original character or such for no reason other than you feel like it. I know, so many people did this for Karl already, but this is random fanart for whoever. You've got no idea if the next character could be yours! I've actually started a picture of someone else's character myself, only to find out it was an opponent of one of my allies... *sweatdrops*

I. I got nightmares for 2 months straight just a few years ago from Scary Movie 3... >_> (Couldn't really deal with even the tiniest bit of a horror movie back then)
II. I've gone by several names on the internet to avoid people finding me, none of them are real. When you mention my username to random people, you'll get pen name results like "Ria", "Shizuka", "Meika", "Asari", "Satoko-chan", "Miku-chan", "Xibalba" (pronounced 'shih-bal-buh' or sometimes Xibby (shihbee), like Maruxia is apparently pronounced 'mar-loo-sha' >_>, and "that really weird girl who wouldn't shut up about *insert fandom here*". The closest to my real name may be the 8th one.
III. I'm straight, but a very big supporter of gay rights. Can't help it when half my friends are gay or bi, on and offline.
IV. Every fandom I ever go through, I create at least one fancharacter for rping. So far, my fancharacter for Tsubasa is the only one I haven't rped with, and chances are I won't, because I'm over the fandom already.
V. I've only been to 2 cons in my life (actually, the same one 2 years in a row). It was pretty small, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to Anime Boston this year.
VI. Even though the only cosplays I've done before are Rukia and Xion (both short), I'm unusually tall. Why do I keep cosplaying short people? Because I'm too scared to belach my hair, and I'm not giving Larxene the satisfaction of a 'smart-version' cosplay. (sorry, to all the smart blonde people out there!)
VII. Evcen though I've been obsessed with Kingdom Hearts for about a year now, I only started playing my first game (CoM for the GBA) Last month. I still can't beat Cloud... >_>
VIII. How can one be obsessed with a game they've never played? >_> and << Their RP, and the fact that the first time I sighed a character on, she became good friends with one of the members. Any other games where that's the case? I'm sort of into Silent Hill too, because of a KH/SH crossover rp that died already.
IX. Also, thanks to that rp (and in particular), I'm a Demyx fangirl. Somehow, my boyfriend is fine with it.
X. My RP buddies seem to like it, but I'm semi-anti-org-xiii yaoi. Why semi? I'll tolerate it to a degree...
XI.I've started multiple fanfice, but have yet to get past chapter 1 in any of them.
XII. One of those fanfics is Mixene (terminology in which it is implied that Misa from Death Note is Larxene's somebody). This was inspired by a Narumyx theory that one of my buddies came up with (you know who you aaaaarrree). I also RP Larxene, but I still really don't like her.
XIII. My username is Taurosgrl because I couldn't spell when I was 11. I thought Taurus was spelled with an 'o' instead of another 'u', that was an accident. 'Girl' was spelled without the 'i', but that was on purpose. Damnit, I love chatspeak! Even though I messed up the taurus part, the name stuck and I use it everywhere.
XIV. Speaking of which, I am a proud user of chatspeak offline and off im-ing. Those quizzes where they ask if you've ever accidently said 'Lol' in real life? I say it on purpose.

1- Wow, that cosplay looks pretty good!

Why, thank you! As you could see from my most recent deviations, I have finished sewing my org xiii cloak in time for halloween! I also cut and dyed my hair (something you couldn't tell,'cause I don't have any pictures up of me before halloween). Yeah. I'm ready for any con now! Hopefully I can got to a lot of them ^^

2- Are you neglecting deviantart??

NO!!!

My computer crashed not too long ago, and since it was fixed, it hasn't been operating as usual. The scanner hasn't been hooking up to the computer correctly since for some reason. You know I'd update with my art if I could! :'(
I'll get the problem fixed asap, promise!

Also, there's school. yeah. That actually means I'm drawing more... (*bored in class*) so yeah. Problem will be resolved soon.

Wow, you noticed! and named all the bands I did before! Yeah, first of all, Kansas is a good band! I like classic rock, but I really hate where most of those bands ended up. OD-ing or ruining their talent, or worse...

Point is, I like a lot of the 80's stuff plus some 60's and 70's glam rock. Now, REASON 2!!!!
Rock Band Tournament!
That's right, Tauros had to go from medium bass skills on the original game to expert on rock band 2! And she did a decent job at it, too!
Our band came in third (Out of six, but don't tell! >_> <_<. You knnow what, it's an accomplishment. Our first song was Carry On my Wayward Son, and it was our best one. We also played "Come Out and Play (Keep 'em Separated)" by The Offspring, and our lack of knowledge of any other song was going to push us to "Nine in the Afternoon" by Panic at the Disco for the finals. Yeah, there weresome flaws in the system, though. Like in tourney levels, the bands didn't do the same song. That's why we lost in the second round and didn't make it to finals. But we did good, being that we never played the sequel before!

wow, that point was actually pretty long compared to the others...

4- Okay, then what's with the heart in the title this time? And at the bottom, the litle smiley thing is 'Attraction'. What's up?

You noticed that too? Wow, how perceptive! (and... stalkerish...)

Well, A couple things happened that could fall along the lines. First, someone I considered one of my best friends told me that they had a crush on me. One thing...
She was a girl.
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm straighter than Axel, the NORMAL Axel, not fanfic ones, after he hears about the popular KH pairing on the internet they involved him in. And probabaly just as angry at the fangirls as I am for the millions upon millions of fanfics that make him gay.
But that's not the point!!!
Luckilly for me, things can work out. We're still friends, she seems totally fine with just hanging out. Hopefully, things can keep that way.

Plus, I think she's reading this. Hai hai! ^ 3^

Second, I really felt weak and a tad bit worthless after her call to tell me about her feelings. I had a crush on a guy, and I was too scared to tell him. Yet, here she was, admitting her emotions for one of the straightest straight girls she could ever know. So, I wanted to prove to myself that I could be strong too, and I found it in me to tell him somehow.
He had feelings back for me, we're now officially going out ^-^
Turns out, he liked me for a while. Who knew? Things have just been working out so well since. We went on our first date last night, just out to Pizza Hut, but it was great! But there was one part that was less than perfect: the fact that some kids I knew were spying on us, after a couple of them found out I was going out earlier that day (as in dating, not where we were going to be).

But I actually get love songs now! It's a frickin' miracle!

Sayuri - No one knows me for long enough to even become good friends with.

Shizuka - Real men wear pink. The thing is, i don't know any real men.
Xibalba - Pink actually used to be a male color, being that it was a shade of red, representing bloodshed and courage. Now they're all wusses and switched to blue.
Sayuri - Pretty much.
Tayura - Depends on which guy or girl, I'm sort of neutral to pink.
Audrey - My hair color is not girly.

Shizuka - Nope, no fun. That means responsibility...

The topic of the day, what's up with the icons?? For some reason, all of them have mudkip, and all have a little flash saying "So i herd u liek Mudkipz".

I lost my beautiful icon that refers to my making fun of Byakuya... T_T
And I deleted it from my computer so I could make room for other stuff, too. Now it's gone forever :'(

Oh well! I'll just make one with my crazy christmas Axel later. The Byakuya one was getting old anyway.
But since I don't have access to photoshop at the moment, I'll leave it with the mudkip... I guess...
