While on vacation Orlando last week, my friends (from Florida) noticed that I don't really have a nickname so they came up with one for me. What a weird name they came up with! They came up with Richie. Why Richie? Well, they started with my middle name Patrick. They took the Rick from Patrick and made it Richard. (Some people named Rick are also called Richard) Richard turned into Rich, which turned into Richie. It took me a while to figure that out after they told me that.

Anyway, so I'm Richie from now on, at least to them.

Also, my favorite character from The King Of Queens is Richie so that works out too.

Have you ever been cleaning your room and you find something that you haven't seen in several years that you completely forgot about? Probably. Has anyone here ever heard of the band, Mew? (Not the Pokémon!) I listened to them about 4 or 5 years ago and even owned one of their CDs. One day, I was looking for the CD but I couldn't find it. I had misplaced it somewhere in my room. Anyway, after a while, I completely forgot about the CD and the band until yesterday when I came across that CD. I forgot how awesome these guys were. Well, I'm happy now. If you ever get a chance, look up these guys cuz they rock!

I was on Ebay a couple of weeks ago and I somehow came across a Pokémon CD single called Nyaasu No Party which means Meowth's Party in Japanese. It's a rare, 4 track single that was released sometime between 1998 and 1999. It only cost $8. It is the funnest CD I have ever heard! The entire CD is sung in Japanese in a very weird, high pitched voice.

It's really funny. It's also really cool too as it has a lot of guitar work and solos.

I only found one on Ebay and Amazon is always out of stock on 'em. If you manage to find one on Ebay though, be sure to get it!

OMG! I finally got a Wii!!! I'm so excited! It is the best system in the world!!

I love it. A couple days ago, we heard that there will be ten Wiis at a Wal-Mart near our house on Wednesday. We were gonna go there around 4 in the morning but then thought that there might be a lot of people even at that early hour. After talkin' about it, we decided to leave at 9 last night and just spend the night there. We got there and we were the first ones in line so we set up a chair and started waiting. It was a good time we got there when we did because people started showing up at 9:30. At midnight, the manager of Wal-Mart saw us waiting outside in the 15 degree weather and decided to let us wait inside until the store opened at 6. Though I tried, I couldn't sleep because it was a small room so I started playing Mario Kart DS with one of the Wal-Mart employees who was waiting in line a few people behind us.

At 6, we were let in the store although we couldn't get a Wii until 8. Not knowing what to do for two hours, I left the line and bought a deck of playing cards and started playing with different people in line until 8. It's been a rough night and I haven't gotten any sleep so I'm basicly dead right now.

Anyone ever hear the old piano solo, Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin? It plays in the United Airlines commercials. Anyway, I'm learning this song right now and it is the HARDEST piece of music ever! It's a 31 page long book that is near impossible. If anyone has actually learned this entire piece, I will give him or her a billion dollars!

Wow. Almost no one commented on my last journal! Anyway, does anybody know when stores like Target and Wal-Mart will be getting more Wiis? Cuz everybody was sold out yesterday. >_< I did manage to play the Wii though. ~ZBot9000 came over to my house yesterday and he brought his. I can't believe that he managed to get one! Anyone listen to the band Muse? Their great! They are the best band ever! I've been listening to them for about a year now and am a huge fan. Their music spans widely over mellow rock, hard rock, to even some jazz. Here is a video of them playing live! ([link]) I seriously recommend you to check them out. As some may know, one of my main hobbies is to write and record my own music. Well after some thought, I have decided to start a new project. I am workin' on a CD that I will actually get published and probably sell!

So far, I have gotten about 7 songs finished for the album and am working on an 8th so I'm makin' good progress. The CD will probably be finished around the beginning of next year so I'll keep you guys updated. My music website [link] is kept more current when it comes to my music so keep checking it out. Over the weekend, my cousin, ~Quetzlcoaltzal, came up to visit. While he was here, a preview for some Pokémon thingy called Mystery Dungeon came on that seemed based around this talkin' turtle. Wow. I got a lot to say.

To start out, I finally reached 10K pageviews!

It took so long!

On a sadder note, I heard yesterday morning that Steve Irwin died from a stingray barb which really sucks. That guy was awesome!

Well, I've decided to start my first contest. Everyone is allowed and encouraged to enter. This contest is different though. It doesn't really rely on skill. I'm working on a very short game right now and I will release it here in a week. Who ever finishes the game first and sends a note to me with the correct password will win. The password will be shown when you beat the game. It's something different that I wanted to try. The first person with the correct password sent to me will get a request. One problem is that it would be unfair to other people if I released it right now as many would be offline and unable to read it. By the time they log in, someone will have already won. So in that case, I'm gonna release it in this journal on Saturday, August 26 at 4:00P.M. Central Time. That is -6 hours from Greenwich time so if you live somewhere else like in the UK or somthin' like that, check a chart to see when it will be 4 in Chicago. Explaining why I haven't posted art for a while including the ID for *Neoshine, my scanner broke AGAIN! >_< I hate this. It actually broke a week ago while I was trying to scan the pic. I'm gonna fix it but it might take a while. I am SO sorry.

Grey Daze is a band that Chester, the lead singer of Linkin Park, was in after High School. It's actually a really cool band. The weirdest thing happened! I logged off my account and clicked on my pageview counter. I noticed that every time I clicked the refresh button on my browser, it counted the pageview on the bar. Click on my pageview counter. Look at how many pageviews I recorded!

Well, my stupid scanner broke down today right after I finished the drawing I was about scan. It might take a week or two until I put another picture up. Who knows though, I could have the scanner up and running in a couple of days.

Edit: I found out that our printer/scanner has stopped working completely. It even stopped scanning which means it's problem with the printer and not the connection. The only thing I could really do is take it to Best Buy or something to get it fixed or buy a new printer. I'm going to use

's scanner until I get mine fixed.

Greetings from the Cayman Islands! I've been on vacation for the last week in the island, Grand Cayman. It's beautiful!! About a year and a half ago, I got a Scuba Diving Certification so I brought an underwater camera down 110 feet on my dive and I took some great pictures! I'll submit a few of them along with some other pictures I took on the island when I get the chance. I should get them up in a week or so because I'm in Miami visiting my grandparents for the week. Well, see ya!!
