sorry guys, this thing isn't dead yet! (or at least so i hope...)
i finished the first half of the two page spread and decided to leave the second half to mitch, but he didn't want to post my half till the whole thing was done, so it should be coming around soon!
and it should be worth the wait!

once again, no update...as it took me practically a week just to figure out how to frame the whole thin (it turned out to be alot more complex than i thought...) but anyways, now it's all roughed and will SURELY be done for sunday or you all have license to punch me in the face...

honestly, HERO has been one of my favourite comics for a long time now, and never fails to be quintessentially beautiful not only in concept but in art as well...very simple and intensely charming (the artist: ~elledupomme ) so well worth the reading...
so go read it! it's beauty will definitely hold you over till the next pages are up!

so, I realized we never really explained the premise for the current comic project...and in my general boredom decided to throw a small description up...

basically, awhile back I was getting restless and just wanted to comic, but generally I'm really bad at coming up with extended plotlines on my own...and knowing Mitch for the awesome person and artist that he is, I proposed that we throw something together (perhaps in preparation for TOS...if that ever manages to actually happen...)

the idea was that we'd alternate on drawing pages and just continue the storyline page by page...in short, this comic has no predefinition, other than the page before it...we never talk about where the plot is going or where we want it to go (unless the page is hopelessly late due to lack of ideas) because it's basically free ground from page to page...other than it all being in pencil, and sized approximately the same way, the only info/plot that we have to work with is what's been done on the previous page by the other person...

so anything could happen...

and so far it's been going awesomely well, with only one week being late (usually stuff i work on crashes way before the 5th page, so we're doing awesome!) and if Mitch keeps blowing me away with each page he does, it should just keep getting better!

(btw, Mitch, if I forgot anything, please feel free to add...)

my update is going to be late, mainly due to Mitch's lateness and he says he can't work on it this week anyways, so I decided to take some extra time on it...
but a new page should be up on Sunday, or even sooner, since school is out and i have nothing better to do...

Sorry that last page took so long guys. I had a lot going on, including the end of school, not to mention how totally awful i am at all the things I had to draw to make the page work. D: But at least it's done! :>

Anyways, I'm considering doing a separate illustrated story (more elaborate with MUCH better writing, though still easily read to a child) for the prince and his birds once we figure out how it ends. It would be in colors, although the drawings and everything would be very basic. I'm wondering if this would be something you all were interested in? Yea or nay?

I, along with Ashley Mackenzie ( ~theumbrella ) and Holly E ( ~holzy ) have created this page as a place where we can showcase some of our latest productions, as well as previews of future projects to be. We will also be keeping readers informed with updates on progress and interactive opportunities. We hope you will enjoy viewing them as much as we enjoyed making them--hopefully more.

But allow me to first begin by explaining what exactly Team Chlorine, or "Team Cl-17" is. It is a group project begun by three artists (as mentioned above) to showcase experimental concepts in both comic-making and other media. Furthermore, it is also a means of building all three artists to even higher levels of success by working together--collaborative commercialism, in a sense.

And so, it is our pledge as members of Team Cl-17 to bring to you, the reader, new experiences and bizarre tales as best as we are fit to. Sit back, relax, and "enjoi."
