I calmed down a bit after my last journal.
Especially after drawing Skoll and Hati again.

Talking about them, I come to a question I have.
The story about those both and their parents keeps growing
in my mind and as if this wasn't funny enough my head keeps talking
to me in english *lol*
So the story would be in english and stuff.

Now my question is:
Is anyone even interested in reading that?
I'm not a very skilled writer and I think I never wrote a whole story like that
in english.

I'd be happy if I'd get at least some replies ._.

You know, I really love christmas.
But...I hate the time BEFORE christmas.

My uncle (slightly mentally disabled) is here and so I have to
move into my moms room...the coldest room of that fucking appartment (our heater is a PAIN in the ass).
Meaning I'm freezing the whole day.
Yay merry christmas 8D

Second my mother is stressing me with presents and stuff I "have (not -_-) to" do for christmas.
which is making me really aggressiv cause I don't see why I should do the stuff SHE is supposed to do (yes, I'm a lazy ass) .
I'm in the worst fuck off mood ever.

I mean heelllooo? Why can't you just sit back.
Get the presents 3 weeks before the actual christmas day (I had mine like a month ago).
Just buy the stuff for the christmas-food-thingy and...let christmas come without making the
time before the most horrible and stressing time of the whole year?

Also I don't see why I should buy presents for anyone who is not even HERE.
I mean..okay my dad is another thing but....
No. Just. No.
Not here. No presents. End.
Also I'm pissed cause I got holidays and it is even MORE stressing then
my school time!!

Have you heard of Mijn Schatje, a somewhat famous artist? Her name cropped up on DoA some time ago because her art is BJD focused but she has never given credit to the sculpts she used. Some people were like, it's reference only, who cares?

Anyhow, take a good look at the pictures linked here. She's not just referencing. She's tracing company photos or owner photos of BJDs. In some cases, she uses the original photos and does an easy auto-level, auto-colour to get the colour palettes she wants.

Now, she's claiming that she has used BJDs as models but has never seen any photos which look like her work and she doesn't trace at all, no sir! REALLY? At this stage, people are saying that they recognize some of the textures and patterns she uses elsewhere too. Based just on the dolls in her so-called art, I'm wondering if there's even a single piece of hers that was not traced or taken from somewhere else.

This semi-famous artist sells her prints for $1000+ and you can find her pictures in galleries and on products that paid her for use of her images. She's been in the news and in magazines. It's only that the doll community is small that she has managed to get away with this for so long because seriously, she's really bad at cheating. She traces exactly and uses company photos. Come on, she even traces wall-eyedness of the dolls into her pictures without trying to make it look better!

Don't let her fakery continue, spread the word.

I am veeeeery bored right now.

As you all know I take many photos and I'd like to be more~ professional?
For that I need a new camera. Mine sure is good but the pictures it makes are way to bright and just don't have the quality I want to have!
Also I want to be able to set up stuff as the light-sensetivity and stuff like that, settings my cam doesn't offer since it is a simple Digital Camera and already around 5 years old.

Now I'd like to ask the photographers among you if you can recommend any camera within the price-range of 200-300€ (c.a. 250~400$)?
It should be digital and if possible mirror reflex.

I just finished David Clement-Davies' Novel "Fell".
It's the sequel to the book "The Sight" by the same author and as much as I loved the first book I also love that second one.
It's an impressive story about animals and men.
And, most important, about life itself. About hope and pain.
Yah... I'm flashed.

Most impressed me a scene where the main-character, the wolf Fell, crosses a river and meets a salmon trying to cross a waterfall so it can go further up the stream.
Fell asks the fish what it does there and the salmon explains about his journey and about his duty to save his future, the eggs they carry.
And during that dialogue there are some parts in the text that are just...well amazing.

I just can recommend you to read that book!

I got a new avatar as well as I finally made a Deviant-I.D.

And since I'm slightly in a creativ-hole I thougt about asking for you opinion.
What kind of art, especially what kind of photos you prefer to see?
Landscapes? Animals? Objects? My BJD? Cloud? Plants?
Or no photos but drawings?

Right from the start I can say, that I wont upload cosplay-photos here (or maybe just one as a preview) since most of them will be uploaded on anyway as soon as I have new ones!

Just that I am feeling way better this week, eventhoug I'm totally tired all the time.
And I decided to star taking my camera with me everywhere I go >D

I finally found ways to edit photos up to total perfection u_û (okay... maybe I'm overdoing it here, but who cares XD).

The last discussion or let me say the last impression I got from those comments was that there is something really amusing about Animated Movies and Series.
I got to this topic by watching "Watership Down" and "Plague Dogs" both animated movies and both have more in common then a story written by Richard Adams:

Many, many children between 3 and 8 years got those movies shown to them by their parents, who appearenty thought: "Animated and Animals? Can't be bad for children!"
Awww bad misstake and poor children.
Those movies are very violent showing animals die, being eaten and harmed. With lots of blood.
Most kids that watched those movies at a low age got scared for life.

Now what does this show us?
Animated does not automatically mean "made for kids".
I think "Plague Dog", "Whatership down", "Felidae" and many animated stuff from japan shows this very well.
And I am wondering where this opinion comes from?
Because disney is that way, that they don't show very much violence?
I don't get it.

I mean BJDs are also dolls but I wouldn't dare to give them to a kid.

You know.
There are some people that made themselves well-known persons and because of that of course they are totally COOL. And those people see themselves as sooo much better than everyone else. As if some fame here in the internet gives you anything. I mean... I'd prefer REAL fame and REAL self-confidence.
Also it seems to be very COOL to change with someone some words (online of course) and getting the opinion you'd know each other from this few contact you had.
Aww.. If I'd get to know people SO fast I'd be glad!
Even cooler is it that some people like you right after some seconds owo it RAINS "love u"s and "you're important to me" just after one hour talking o_o Here on DA even with ppl who live on the other side of the world.
And way, way cooler are those constructive comments like "aww thats cool *_*!!!11" and "keep drawing" and "awesome" ...wow... I learn so much from it. Thank you.
But the absolutely COOLEST people are that kind of COSPLAYER that forgot that cosplay is nothing but a HOBBY(!) and not a reason to insult people and spread rumors all over as if it were a soap-opera. But NO cosplay is like the BIGGEST part of life.
That means whoever can't sew is strictly banned from cosplaying and if you cosplay you have to look absolutely alike the character (especially the face and height)
Wow, thanks god esthetic surgeries aren't so expensive.

Sorry it just drives me sooo wild.
Especially the "you are to small" comments at cosplay.
I mean I am a small person myself.
But does that mean I'm just allowed to cosplay small characters? -_-"

Let's see what kind of news I have, eh?

First of all I should make a wishlist.
I recently recognized that there are many things I want but either can't have yet since they are pretty expensive or things I put on my wishing-letter for christmas with the faiding hope to get them.

As one of those wishes there is one that I have since a long, long time but NEVER hat the possibility of making it come true.
I've always wanted some kind of a gaming-platform. Like the N64, Gamecube, Wii, PS2 that stuff.
Right now I'm trying to save up money for a Playstastion 2 BUT (and here we hit a problem of decision) I'm also planning at least 2 new BJDs this or next year.
Nicky from Buddy Doll and Leya from Dream of Doll.
Both are pretty...and both cost between 200 and 300 $.
Plus there are cosplay-conventions planned, wich I always concider as more important then some stupid material dreams.. even when those dreams are about 10 years old T__T (at this point I start slightly regretting, that I'm a cosplayer...u_u)

Another thing I wished for for christmas (wait, is that sentence correct?)is the new game by Maxis "Spore".
I downloaded the Demo-Version of it and...that game is SO much FUN XDD maybe I'll upload some of my creatures here on DA...gotta think about it.

So...and any other news?
A well, the differences in TLC have been cleared so far I think.
We will meet each other on new year ^o^ looking forward to that.
It has been a long time now since we meet each other.

The most memorable experiences are first: the Bookfair Frankfurt 2006, when Toru Tanabe has sung there and last but not least: Connichi 2007 when I first met those lovely people from .
And I think its a very special feeling that makes it so precious to me.

My Assassin Tekila from Ragnarok Online...wanted to do her since I started cosplaying.
