My New Year's Eve has actually been kind of nice. I thought I'd be kinda bored tonight since my choices ended up being to stay home by myself or go to the Fuhrs (love them to death, but after a while you run out of things to talk about with them). But I ended up making some raman and some tea and then curled up on the couch and watched the first episode of Devil May Cry and episodes 19 and 20 of Fruits Basket since that's what was on demand. I love episode 20. To sum it up:
Ayame: "YUUUUUUUKIIII!!!!!!!
Tohru: "What's that?"
Yuki: "I don't know but it's coming right for me!"



Now I'm going to browse justdubs.net and see what other animes I feel like watching.

I wanted to go see what the second and third were about and who was in them character wise, and on the first movies wikipedia page I noticed that it said that it was coming out in English Sept. 29. At first I thought it didn't make sense since shippuden wasn't out in English, but then I did some more digging and the first four episodes are available on iTunes! The DVD comes out in September sometime (but you can preorder it on Amazon) and then the second DVD comes out in October. From what I've read the voices are all the same, so yay to that! So I'm probably going to buy the ones on iTunes and put them on DVDs for those who want it *coughcough* Aly and Laura *coughcough*


Edit: Also, the fillers they didn't show will be on DVD Sept 22. I don't care about most of them... it's the last one that rocks!
-edit 2: These episode are now on Justdubs, so I guess they're out somewhere. Maybe iTunes has those too. I'll eventually have to watch those!

Edit 2: I also found out that in Japanese, they're finally doing the whole Kakashi and Obito story! So... Yay!

It all started after school when I realized that our spare key wasn't outside, and my other house key as well as my cell phone was locked in the house. So I decided to wait for my brothers because I figured Patrick would have a key. So I went and watered my neighbor's plants since she's on vacation and asked us to do that for her while she's gone. After that I read People magazine almost all the way through, skimming a couple reviews and articles, and then read some of Dhampir.

Around there, my brothers showed up with their carpool. And guess what Patrick didn't have. His keys. So Mrs. Fuhr kindly waited for us to call our parents and see if they had any bright ideas on how to get in. Mom didn't answer and dad told me to break in. Well, that attempt failed because the window was locked. Mrs. Furh tried everything to open that damn window. To get some leverage we even shoved a spatula in there. We ended up bending it beyond repair, but oh well. We have more.

Finally mom called and told us to walk to Laura's and see if she'd adopt us until she could sneak out of work and let us in. So we did. ((To Laura: I thank you again for putting up with me and my brothers and feeding us. I will figure out a way to pay you back.)) While we were there, Sean did homework and behaved like the good little 10 year old he is and Pat acted like a three year old and annoyed me to the point where I almost punched him in the face. I'm a kind sister aren't I?

Anyway, he eventually walked back home to see if he could find a way through the basement window. So while Sean and I were eating Asian noodle dishes with Laura, he found a way into the basement, but he couldn't fit, so he needed Sean to break in. We eventually walked back and Pat showed us the spot he found. On our basement windows, we have a bar that goes across them so no one can break in. Our security people installed it, and it's lucky we don't turn on the security anymore, because if we had, the police would have shown up because I broke it. Heh heh... oops.

Once we finally got in, I was tired, hot, and kind of crabby and I jnust wanted to sit on the couch and relax, but of coarse, mom had left money and a not on the desk saying we could walk to Dairy Queen. Sean really wanted to go. He's been asking to go all week and none of us have had time to take him. So he looks at me with these huge puppy dog eyes and I couldn't say no. I tried discouraging him, but that tactic didn't work so we went to DQ. I remembered the key and my phone this time.

It eventually calmed down after that, but now we're on an epic surch through our house to find a book that Sean hid as a surprise for dad for them to read together.

It was SO much fun, I don't even begin to know what to say! I'm going to be posting my pics up here eventually.

I had fun all three days. Saturday was awesome as hell though. I just love being in my Temari costume. I feel so normal in it! lol. The only thing that day missed was Kankuro singing Sexy Back with a pair of shackels in the middle of the hyatt. I also got new fans!!!! But I'm sure none of you care. Nobody else really did. lol. Plus it was great to see Kit/Bakura. I don't know if you'll read this but you looked great in your cosplay and I was happy we got to see eachother not once but twice!!! <3 ya!

I really wish that ACen wouldn't ever end. It's such a great and happy couple of days. You're free to be whoever you want, talk to perfect strangers, and get free food and things from people. If everyday could be like ACen, there would be pretty much peace on Earth.

I'm looking forward to the next couple cons too. I get to be Momo again! She is quite a bit of fun!

Anywho, I miss it but tomorrow will be fun purely because we get to wear our cat ears and masks! I'm being protected against swine flu if anyone asks.

And today I'm excited because I finally got my fans posted after however many months I've been saying I was going to do it. Sadly, there are still 9 that do not have a place on my wall. One had no where to put a nail, two are too flimsy to stay up without breaking, and the rest just didn't fit anyway.

And now I am looking forward to ACen! I'm glad we got it to be a field trip, but not so glad about who Ms. Shin wants me to ask to chaperone. As I told Laura, Mr. Finch (my religion teacher) does not need to see leading Laura around on a leash!! And Ms. Shin might go into an early labor when she sees her first guy in a dress (not that I find anything wrong with that. Ms. Shin is just very... conservative. She won't tell her 2 year old son about Santa or the Easter Bunny because it takes away from the true message and then he will know who all his presents are from). Ms. Bernardan just scares me... So no thanks.

Anyways, with or without a crappy chaperone it should be fun!

So our last two finals got pushed to after christmas breaks because our school decided to "take precaution" about the ice storm. It wasn't even that bad. Now the last two finals are on Jan 5th. I'm not sure weather I should be happy or upset that they got moved. Now this means I have to study for them at some point over break instead of just having them over and done with, but at the same time Jan 5th will be a short day because of it. And also the extra study time may be helpful. I don't know.

I'm so happy its break. Now I can goof off and relax. It was defiantly needed. I can finally finish my Christmas shopping too! People have been insanely difficult to buy for this year. No one knows what they want. I guess I shouldn't be talking though. I'm the same way.

Well actually, I leave for Pennsylvania tomorrow. I'm gonna stay there for a night then in the morning on tuesday, I'm going to go to NYC on the train. We'll stay there for a night, on Wed. I'm going to see Legally Blonde on Broadway.Then we go back to pennsylvania that night and sleep there then leave around 11:00 we take the flight home. Oh yeah, our flights there and back take us to Atlanta before our destination, so I'm stuck in the Atlanta airport for 2 hours before returning home. Oh well, hopefully I'll get some fanfictions written in while I'm there or something.

I know while I'm there, I'm going to (hopefully) go to the NY chinatown, The wax museum and Central Park. I'm really startiing to get excited now!!

After NYC I have to go make up some Driver's Ed. classes that I'll be missing, get my permit, and the start work. *sigh* oh well. I'll be back on thursday. Talk to you all then!!

Now instead of going to school to learn, I'm going to one grade school to teach drama to little children and then going to another grade schoolto be an assistant at a camp. Oh, and I guess I am going to be learning stuff... I'm taking driver's ed.

Speaking of which, yesterday in class we had to watch this weird movie about "the rules of the road in Illinois". Nobody showed any emothion when they spoke or did anything, and the girl who read off the rules to you did once change her facial expression and she read all of her lines in a monotone voice.

On a better note, I got to go see Avenue Q last week! It was amazing!! It was by far the funniest thing I've ever seen!

Yeah... that's about everything that happened to me so far this summer... I'm pretty boring.

Bio was a bit challenging... ok actually it was really hard, but whatever! Then Religion was the easiest thing ever! Drama was pretty easy too. All we had to do was a monologue that was around two minutes long, but could be longer. I did one from Naruto that Hinata does. It's the one right before Naruto goes to the final rounds of the Chunin exams and he and Hinata are talking at the spot where Naruto became a genin. It was fun! I even used a friend's Hinata cosplay from ACEN! That went really well. It was funny though, when I did my Intro ("Hi, I'm Carleigh and I will be portraying the role of Hinata Hyuga from 'Naruto' by Masashi Kishimoto") Everyone gave me these blank stares and was like "WTF?" ^_^ The only other person who got what I was saying was my friend who did the Sakura monologue when Sasuke was leaving. It was really good, btw. She actually got herself to cry!!

Tomorrow I do my Gym and Geometry final and I'm done!! YES!!!
